We spent a wonderful week at Amalia Apartments and would book again without hesitation. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped, with a balcony looking out over the pool. The property itself is a real gem. Built on the hillside, it feels peaceful and away from the main road, yet Bali beach, tavernas and little shops are only a short walk. The pool and gardens are beautifully maintained. What really made the stay special was the staff. They were warm, attentive and genuinely hospitable from the moment we arrived. Parking was easy, everything worked as it should, and the whole place had that relaxed family-run feel. We left already talking about coming back. Highly recommended for a relaxing week in Bali.

Завдяки такому ставленню ми почувалися дуже комфортно та затишно. А ще нас приємно здивував маленький подарунок під час виселення з готелю. Це було зовсім неочікувано, але дуже мило та приємно! 🥰 Щиро дякуємо за чудовий відпочинок і приємні враження! Обов’язково будемо рекомендувати цей готель і з радістю повернемося знову!

Amalia is great, it's the second time we stay here, the first time we stayed in an apartment, this year we stayed in a studio. Both great and a lot better than 4 start hotels we stayed at in Bali, can't believe they are a 3 star hotel, they deserve 4. The room is big, clean, the bathroom is big, the shower is big, there's a double bed and a single bed in the studio, very comfortable, there's a little kitchen with absolutely everything you need in there, from electric cooker, coffee maker, cutlery, plates, pots, fridge, anything. The hotel is beautiful, it's a got very nice pool outside, a nice bar and terrace, personally I think this is the best hotel in Bali, and we've been coming to Bali for 5 years now. And the apartments are actually apartments, as in two separate rooms, with an actual door separating them,, not just a big room with a sliding glass door in the middle, they are real apartments and quite big, with 2 balconies, one for each room. You can't not love this place, it's amazing.

I literally have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

The location and friendly staff.

Great location, very close to the beach, supermarket, and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were spotless with daily cleaning. The property is actually much more beautiful than it looks in the pictures!

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Also, I wish the kitchen was a bit better equipped—for example, there was nothing to make coffee with, and some wine glasses would have been a nice touch.

Excelente apartamento, súper cómodo y con una ubicación privilegiada a pasos de la playa. El edificio destaca por su arquitectura moderna y acogedora. La piscina, aunque pequeña, está en un lugar ideal para descansar y tomar el sol, con tumbonas disponibles. Punto extra: la limpieza es impecable todos los días, incluido el aseo diario de la habitación. El personal, un 10 en servicio. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Como sugerencia de mejora, no indispensable pero sí notable: Si bien no es un punto crítico, se agradecería una cafetera y un menaje más acorde con la estética del apartamento. Los utensilios actuales se sienten como piezas sueltas o heredadas de otros sets, y no hacen justicia al diseño tan cuidado que tiene el resto del espacio.

Πολύ ευχάριστη διαμονή! Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και περιποιημένο, η καθαριότητα επαρκής και το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό. Συνολικά, όλα ήταν πολύ όμορφα και θα έμενα ξανά ευχαρίστως.

A very nice, modern and cosy hotel with a great team caring about you and going above and beyond to provide you with their utmost hospitality.

Die Lage war super! Man hat alle Strände, Restaurants und Märkte fussläufig erreicht.

Die Küche ist nicht zur Selbstversorgung geeignet. Die Herdplatten sind nicht zum kochen geeignet. An Ausstattung war das minimalste vorhanden. Es gab nicht genug Ablagefläche für Anziehsachen. Im Kleiderschank gab es nur Bügel, keine Fächer. Auf unserem Balkon gab es keinen Tisch an dem 3 Leute sitzen konnten.

We had a wonderful time at Amalia Apartaments. Everything is brand new, modern, comfortable and spotless. We loved the view, the pool and the bar that made our evenings even better. As light sleepers, we we happy to rest as everything was quiet during the night. It was a great choice for our accommodation i Bali.

The accommodation was fantastic! It was clean and beautiful. They came to clean every day. Our host and all the staff were extremely kind and friendly. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location, only short walk to the beach. Well maintained property with new outdoor furniture and nice pool area which at the time was very quiet.

Had a corner room on the ground floor over looking the pool but was a bit disappointed with the balcony and the view, but no real problem for 2 nights.

Πολύ ωραίο, καλαίσθητο και άνετο δωμάτιο με ωραίο μπαλκόνι εξοπλισμένο και με είδη κουζίνας! Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό.

Locatie van het complex is prima! Complex oogt modern en straalt kwaliteit uit. Gelegen midden in het dorp, vlakbij Varkotopos strand (en op loopstand van andere stranden). Ruim, modern ingericht appartement, oogt schoon en hygienisch. AC in slaapkamer (niet in woonkamer). Internet was prima en ook een grote TV met Netflix. Fijn zwembad met een ondiep deel ideaal voor kleinere kinderen om zelfstandig te kunnen spelen en een dieper gedeelte. Tevens een bar met snacks, ijs en drankjes. Erg vriendelijk personeel dat onze baggage nog met de auto naar het volgende appartement heeft gebracht.

Weinig keukengerei en slechts 1 kookplaat, dat maakt zelf koken wel een uitdaging. Ons balkon was smal en daar kon je niet met zijn vieren zitten. Tevens was het gelegen aan de (hoofd)straatkant, waardoor het soms lawaaiig en minder gezellig was.

Hyggelig atmosfære, og altid god til at hjælpe med de sædvanlige ferie udfordringer.

Really lovely little hotel. The place was very clean, staff very friendly and the pool even though we didn't use it looked really nice. The room was very modern with everything you need. Street parking right outside the hotel. Overall we would stay again and highly recommend it.

No lift, can make it slightly more difficult with a pram/small child. Only a very minor thing though for us.

Cozy stay for 9 nights with my daughter. The room was good—nothing special, but we basically only slept there and took showers, as we spent the rest of the time outside. Everything worked well (air conditioning, good water pressure), the room was cleaned every day, and the property was also kept clean. We really liked the swimming pool, and the outdoor area of the property was very nice. It’s close to the beach, and there’s also a little train in Bali that runs once an hour, so we were able to visit the other beaches as well. We used it as our “public transport” almost every day, so we didn’t need a car, which was perfect. The owner was super nice, as was the rest of the team. Breakfast was simple—maybe not ideal for someone with high expectations—but it was more than enough for us.

Nothing was wrong with this—it’s just my personal preference—but our room was on the lower level, which felt a little unusual at first, as hotel rooms are normally on the same floor as the reception or above it. However, the room itself and the balcony were still slightly above ground level. Only weird to walk "downstairs", and since we stayed for 9 nights, it would have been nice to have a room on one of the upper floors.

Clean, position, quality & quiet

Von sich ist Apartment schön, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man hat ein komplette ruhe obwohl wir in Erdgeschoss gewohnt haben und terrasse zum Pool war haben wir es sehr angenehm empfunden.

4-persoonskamer met bergzicht geboekt voor 3 volwassenen. 1 persoon moest op een slaapbank (wel wat hard maar te doen). Goeie airco. Alhoewel gelegen aan de straatkant (maar 1 verdiep hoger) geen last van het verkeer 's nachts. Mooi zwembad, groot genoeg voor de aanwezigen (in juni). Lekker ontbijt met iedere dag een andere zoetigheid. Vriendelijke hulpvaardige mensen (zowel onthaal als aan de bar). Auto parkeren langs de straat maar wel altijd plaats gevonden op max. 1 min. stappen. Dichtbij de grote weg waardoor je tamelijk rap (in Griekse termen) overal naartoe kon. Goed restaurant aan de zee op 5 min wandelen van het hotel. Ook allerlei winkels op 5 min stappen. Bali is levendig zonder druk te zijn.

De koffie en melk vonden we niet lekker maar smaken verschillen.

Værelset var meget mørkt og koldt trods de 25° udenfor (og nej aircon var ikke tændt).

Petit complexe moderne, bien placé pour Bali, stationnement dans la rue facile (pas de parking dédié), petit déjeuner très correct.

Peu de chose.... Peut-être la taille modeste de la piscine qui est mal exposée l'après-midi.

Pool ist toll wenn nicht viele Leute da sind. Unkomplizierter Check in und Check out. Wasserkocher war defekt und wurde sofort gegen einen neuen ausgetauscht. Lage ist toll um alles zu erkunden. Geschäfte und Tavernen gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

War unser 2. Aufenthalt in Amalia Apartment. Hatten diesmal leider nur einen sehr kleinen Balkon. Wenn man viel unterwegs ist gehts. Dieses mal gabs keinen Begrüßungsraki mehr und beim Frühstück auch kein frisches Rührei. Das war früher anders. Inzwischen gibts diese leider fertig in Wärmebehältern. Auswahl vom Frühstück ist nicht allzuviel aber wir sind zurecht gekommen. Orangensaft ist eher eine orangenes wässriges Getränk. Das geht besser. Klospülung zieht nicht gut ab.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit top Lage in Strandnähe von Bali. Die Gastgeberfamilie und das gesamte Personal waren super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Beim Frühstück wurde alles geboten, was das Herz begehrt. Der Pool war für unsere Kinder das schönste überhaupt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub!

Hotel micut, modern, bine intretinut si curat, nu departe de una dintre plajele localitatii. Personal amabil. Mic dejun bun. Zona de piscina curata si frumos amenajata. Nu are parcare proprie dar se poate parca pe strada, in fata hotelului. Am gasit de fiecare data loc de parcare dar nu stiu cat de aglomerat poate fi in plin sezon.

Not much! Maybe just the fact that the doors/walls let quite some noice in an somebodies alarm went off for 3 times without turning it off quickly at 7am… but nothing that the hotel can do about that, I guess!

This is a lovely property to stay in in Bali, and would definitely recommend it! All the staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Tavernas and shops within a few minutes walk, along with excursion/activity outlets, car rental etc. Room was clean, comfortable and a lovely view of the pool. Pool area was quiet with good bar, and beautiful when lit up at night. A beautiful spot and I would return here.

Room could do with a few more things in the kitchen area - more mugs, glasses etc. Pool area is lovely and quiet, but some soft background music throughout the day would create more of an ambience. If they had the facilities to offer meals of an evening, this would be a perfect addition, particularly if you sat by the pool area.

Bagno cieco e senza aspiratore! Nessun stendino/appendino per costumi /asciugamani bagnati. Quadro impianto elettrico all'interno dello studio abbastanza rumoroso per il riposo notturno.

A reggeli jó választékú és minőségű, az elhelyezkedés pedig kiváló.

Az apartman felszereltsége hagyott maga után kívánnivalót. Szekrények és tároló lehetőségek minimálisak voltak, a ruhákat csak részben tudtuk kipakolni. Az ajtó nyitása többször meghibásodott, az apartman egyes részeinek műszaki állapota kifogásolható volt (pl. leeső kilincs).

Das Frühstücksbuffet war für die wenigen Zimmer ausreichend, gab täglich geringe Abwechslung und somit für jeden was Gutes zu finden.

Bon séjour dans l’ensemble. Vue magnifique, belle piscine, personnel agréable. Stationnement facile dans la rue.

En revanche, chambres mal insonorisées, lumière gênante le matin faute de rideau, et Wi-Fi peu fiable.

The location of the apartments is excellent, situated centrally away from the main street, so nice and quiet, but within easy walking distance of the beaches, shops and tavernas. There is a small convenience store within a couple of minutes walk. We stayed in a sea view apartment with a lovely view from the balcony over the pool to the sea. It was clean and sheets and towels were changed every couple of days. The pool was clean and there were plenty of free sun beds. There is a nice pool bar which serves drinks and snacks and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. This was our fourth holiday in Crete, which we love, but our first visit to Bali. It is a lovely town/port; we really liked it and will probably return. We would wholeheartedly recommend these apartments and would stay again.

Just a few minor observations. The kitchen facilities are limited with no cooker, just a hot plate, which wasn’t an issue for us as we preferred to eat out, but it would be difficult to cook a meal. There was no plug for the sink, but we managed and no wine glasses (!) but some were supplied when we asked for them. Some cushions for the sofa beds in the lounge would be welcome as, although we were able to sit out on our balcony most of the time, if we wanted to sit indoors the sofa beds weren’t very comfortable.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der obersten Etage mit einem schönen Ausblick zum Meer und zu den Bergen. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtete und sauber. Nur ein paar Gehminuten zum Meer. Wir hatten zunächst nur 3 Nächte gebucht, haben dann aber um 6 weitere verlängert, da wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

The entire stay was absolutely wonderful. Both the staff and the setting were great. The staff were friendly and helpful, had many tips about the area, and helped us arrange a late night taxi. Amalia is well situated in town near some restaurants, close to some grocery stores, and just minutes from the beach. The pool was very clean and the water a great temperature. The room was spacious and had a breathtaking view of the bay and the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and convenient. We would stay here again.

Parking isn't good but it's totally manageable.

We stayed as a couple in Bali for 3 weeks. We stayed at Amalia Apartments for 11 nights. We like to prolong our holidays in Amalia, but unfortunatelly it was occupied. The welcome started from the minute we arrived. The hosts are very helpful. Thanks Niki and the staff for your kindness! The studios are large and clean and well equipped. They have enough cooking necessities. Towels are changed every day. The soundproofing in the rooms is very good, so we slept very well. The studio is equipped with a free safe deposit box. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the sea, landscape and the pool. The pool is clean with a bar where you can order delicious snacks. The breakfast food was always delicious and fresh. The location is very quiet. It is only a few minutes walk to the first beach. There are restaurants and food and souvenir shops nearby. This was our second time in Bali. Moc pěkné a čisté ubytování. Krásný výhled na bazén a hory. Ticho a klid v ubytování. Součástí pokoje j lednička a malá kuchyňka. Super bazén s lehátky s čistou vodou. K dispozici bar s občerstvením. K dispozici i balóny a vodní donut. Příjemný personál. Lokalita super uprostřed vesnice, takže na obě strany stejně daleko. Písečná pláž v pěší vzdálenosti.

Chyběly nám poličky ve skříni, oblečení jsme museli mít poskládané na stole. Ve vesnici není žádné dětské hřiště, s kočárkem se hůře jezdí po silnicích (chybí chodníky), to ale není chyba ubytování. Slabší snídaně (rozmražené pečivo, kupovaná bábovka, ovoce z konzervy, nekvalitní šunka a párky, snídaně jenom do 9:30).
