Place was really tired in certain areas Veranda area especially Filthy ash trays not emptied Veranda needed sweeping badly One miserable member of staff who was clearly not happy Very basics stuff which begs the question where was the manager and why didn't he/she nitice and correct any of this! Filthy windows which i appreciate is a ckbatant battle on a beach area.

very friendly and helpful staff. good dinner and breakfast. pleasant lounge and dining room with sea view. very close to shops, sea and local restaurants. rooms were cleaned each morning quickly and efficiently by friendly cleaning team. rooms have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

I can't think of much.... The lift was a bit slow, but we weren't on a schedule...

We almost didnt check in because the entrance to reception was so untidy, unswept, dirty windows, and absolutely uninviting, but once up the stairs to reception it was much better. The terrace on the beach front is almost shameful, it has not been swept or cleaned for some time, rusty stools, and dreadfully slow service.

Room was very clean and comfortable with a bonus seating are to view the sea Breakfast was good.

Parking facilities - very limited car parking spaces. A member of staff kindly sorted a space out for us but it's a shame the hotel doesn't have a bigger designated area for parking.

The staff were excellent and a great location from which to enjoy the carnival. Breakfast was delicious with great sea views. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. We finished the evening with drinks on the terrace which was a real treat.

Parking was a problem but understandable on such an occasion.

The situation was glorious. The food was excellent.

The room was too basic. No dressing gown, face cloth. Out of date t.v. no mini bar. The staff were polite but only 2 were friendly enough with me a 83 year old lone traveller. And no porters at all to help carry bags. These 2 issues were poor.

Fabulous location

Air con not working in restaurant and none in rooms. Very hot in this weather and a lot of flies in room and restaurant. Carpet very dirty in room. .

The hotel is in a superb location, on the sea front and with good views. The staff seem very friendly and the food is good though not cheap.

Unfortunately we were unable to access hot water throughout the weekend. I was reduced to washing with a flannel and cold water, which was more than disappointing. Martin from the restaurant came to our room (217) late on the 1st evening to see what he could do and managed to get warm (not hot) water. But by the following morning we were back to cold water. The room itself is rather cramped and the bed is small for a double, so definitely NOT recommended.

View from the room was amazing and entrancing. Room large, very comfortable and clean if a little tired. Loved the fluffy towels and the hospitality tray. Was quiet and peaceful.

The first day breakfast was great. The second day (Sunday) it was poor - my poached egg was more like a boiled egg and I asked twice for toast before giving up on it. Restaurant let a lovely hotel down.

The bed in our room was really hard so wasn’t great for me

The spacious room at the front of the hotel did not disappoint and we had a stunning view of the sea, close enough to hear the waves lapping. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The location in Aldeburgh is excellent and we were able to reserve a disables car space. The bar/breakfast room and lounge have lovely sea views and there is outdoor seating for fine days.

We would have welcomed a small reading lamp near the sofa.

No internal blinds in dining area when sun shining in a morning and outside canopies cannot be extended.

The location was excellent; you could walk out the front door of the hotel and you were on the promenade. All the staff were had contact with were very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot. We had an evening meal one night in the restaurant and that was excellent. Our room was comfortable with nice tea and coffee facilities.

Limited free parking adjacent to the hotel (but a spacious reasonably priced car park 3 min walk away. Dogs were allowed in the lounge area and I can feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes around poorly behaved dogs.

We loved the room, good size and sea view, plenty of room for us and our dog. Breakfast was really good, well cooked and good choice. We didn’t eat in the evenings but we had Sunday lunch in the Seafood and Grill with a couple of friends and really enjoyed it. Robin who served us on Sunday and at Breakfast was excellent.

The only minor issue was the control of the heat. At times the room was very hot and the radiator and towel rail were not very responsive. The communal areas were very hot as well, which seemed unnecessary. It was a relief to get downstairs to the restaurant which was an ideal temperature.

The booking process.BOOKING.COM offered two day cancellation and payment at the property i.e. on arrival.The BRUDENELL took the whole cost from my card two months before my arrival and changed the cancellation period to seven days.Not acceptable.

Very hot throughout, very uncomfortable. Breakfast was disorganised and felt like it was inconvenient when we asked to order our breakfast after waiting 20 minutes. TV in room was a bit broken Things were just a bit tired and not working properly like to locks and the lights in our room.

We struggled to find the car park / garages. It would be very useful to have a sign put up at the entrance to the gravel track down to the garages, showing the way to The Brudnell garages

Parking was very easy. The car park beside the Hotel was full on our arrival but there is a garage behind the Hotel which had spaces. All the staff are amazingly helpful, efficient, good humoured and alway go that extra mile. Great selection at breakfast whatever your options.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice view of the countryside even though we were not facing the sea. The staff were nice and friendly. The only downside was that the parking facilities were quite limited and the space was always tight.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was the best looked forward to it every morning and the staff were so friendly always helpful

Position, food, staff and general ambiance. This is one of our favourite hotels. The restaurant is excellent for food both at breakfast and dinner. The staff are always attentive. We will definitely return.

Chinese toiletries in the bathroom. They were slightly short staffed which caused our room not to be serviced on one. However we were provided with new towels and water which was sufficient.

The room was too hot at 29 degrees. The bath wash container was half full There was a huge spider in the bath. The breakfast team forgot to take our hot breakfast order, so we left.

Location is very good as was breakfast.

For the money we paid, the room was scruffy.
