Athenian Residences

This Residence is very well located close to good restaurants and near most of the major attractions. The apartment is a great size and more than enough for the two of us. Breakfast at their bar opposite was excellent served with good coffee by great people. We only learnt the name of one of their people (Manos) but they were all kind and helpful. I would strongly recommend this Residence

Appartement moderne, fonctionnel et très bien situé. Quartier très sympa ( où il fait bon vivre , principalement avec les locaux) plutôt calme, tranquille et à proximité de tout. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux et excellent. La petite piscine pour se rafraîchir, idéale en août ! L accueil, la flexibilité, bienveillance, réactivité de Manos , en un mot, exceptionnel !!! Ses précieux et sages conseils nous ont permis de passer un superbe séjour dans Athènes et des alentours. Je vous recommande également son " personal cocktail" !!! Merci à lui!

Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité, la résidence n’est pas en Pierre, mais avec une façade refaite à neuf. La piscine semblait très grande sur les photos, alors que c’est un petit bassin… il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner sur place type buffet comme dans les hôtels, les petits déjeuners sont à commander la veille au soir pour une livraison le matin. Précision qui n’avait pas été explicitée lors de la réservation… On nous avait dit uniquement petit déjeuner compris…

Beautiful location. Downstairs room a bit warm but Athens is hot in summer otherwise Manos and his team were just phenomenal hosts. Central to all the action so location was amazing !

Stayed in athens for a few nights with friends and this hotel was everything we needed and more! The hotel is perfectly located, close to tavernas, shopping areas, historical sites and really fun night life- all within walking distance. If you need some time to chill, the courtyard has a pool and really nice lounge area. The rooms were clean, amazing breakfast included, and the managers were so helpful and friendly. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone and will definitely come back.

Résidence et appartement confortables. Très bien située ! Possibilité de tout faire à pied, et si besoin, différents transports en commun à proximité. Au cœur d'un quartier sympa et animé mais dans une petite rue perpendiculaire au calme. Petit déjeuner ++++++ excellent avec des produits frais et différents choix à envoyer chaque fin de journée pour être livrés le lendemain. TOP !!! Manos est accueillant et à l'écoute.

Rien sauf le fait de ne pas avoir eu le bouchon de baignoire pour prendre un bain spa (une seule fois sur les quatre nuits, sachant que nous comprenons la nécessité d'économiser l'eau ;) Peut-être juste retirer l'info de l'annonce. Mais le séjour reste excellent !

My two adult daughters and I stayed in Athens 2 nights at the end of our 7-day cruise. Manos the manager was in touch w me during the whole week before. I can’t say enough about him and his staff. He arranged transfers, recommended activities including nightlife that were spot on. Even when my flight cancelled, he rearranged my airport transfer and arranged a stay at a different hotel for the unforeseen changes. The hotel itself was spacious, comfortable and very up to date. The included breakfast was plentiful and delivered to our room at our time of choice. Manos was 3 steps ahead of us in helping us the whole time. I don’t know how he did it but I felt extremely catered to and taken care of. This is the first time I’ve posted a review of this kind. I kept thanking him and his staff because they made our stay 10x better than it would’ve been otherwise. I definitely would look to stay there specifically when in Athens.

We had a family room with a queen bed for my husband and I, and two smaller beds for our adult children. Plus the room had two bathrooms and a full kitchen so it was terrific for our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged transportation for us from the airport, and gave us lots of good advice. The location is right in the midst of restaurants, very close to Ancient Agora, and walkable to the Acropolis.

Stayed here recently, couldn’t talk highly enough of the place, great location, accommodation in great condition and Manos and the team couldn’t do anymore to make my stay in Athens comfortable and memorable, if you know anyone going to Athens or if you are going yourself I would recommend this accommodation highly.

There were so many things we loved about this venue. The staff & housekeeping were all professional and friendly. The place is so quaint and clean. It is in a really charming Central part of Athens. The facilities are good. Incredible breakfast/lunch as it is enough food for the whole day.

I can't fault anything as it was such a positive experience and I was so chuffed to have found this place. I'll definitely go back.

De locatie is super, middenin Psirri, een gezellig wijkje met heel veel restaurantjes en winkeltjes. De meeste bezienswaardigheden zijn binnen ca 20 minuten te lopen. Het appartement was super charmant, met boven een fijne zitkamer met tv en een eettafel. Een klein keukentje met koelkast, spoelbak, magnetron en kookplaatjes. De badkamer is prima maar wel klein, echt één persoon tegelijk. Beneden is de eerste slaapkamer heel netjes met nachtkastjes, een kast voor kleding etc, een tv en een kluis. De andere slaapkamer is wat krap, maar het tweepersoonsbed was prima en er is ook een tv. Alle tv's hebben oa Netflix incl een account dat je gewoon kunt gebruiken. Er is een zwembad op de gedeelde binnenplaats, in de zomer waarschijnlijk super om even af te koelen. Er zijn voldoende handdoeken en ook badjassen voor iedereen. Heel vriendelijk welkom bij aankomst. Het ontbijt bestelden we elke dag via WhatsApp en was heel uitgebreid en lekker met aardig wat keus. Ook was er koffie en thee, waarvan de voorraad dagelijks werd aangevuld (zowel Nespresso apparaatje als filterkoffiezetapparaat).

De trap naar beneden is een wenteltrapje, heel smal en zeker niet geschikt voor mensen die fysiek niet 100% zijn en lastig voor lange mensen. Wij stootten geregeld tenen en hoofden. Het gedeelde zwembadje op de binnenplaats (er zijn vlg mij 5 appartementen) is leuk, maar niet verwarmd en echt heel klein. Wij waren er eind april en het water was super koud (terwijl het 25 graden was buiten).

Pobyt w tym apartamencie w Atenach był absolutnie wyjątkowy! Apartament jest przestronny, nowocześnie urządzony i bardzo czysty – widać, że właściciele dbają o każdy detal. Ogromnym atutem jest lokalizacja – blisko najważniejszych atrakcji turystycznych, restauracji i komunikacji miejskiej. Kontakt z gospodarzami był wzorowy – bardzo pomocni, uprzejmi i zawsze dostępni razie potrzeby. Na pewno wrócimy.

The location is amazing, it is in the centre of the old part of the city. The stuff is very helpful, I like that all the communication was done over WhatsApp with quick responses. The cleaning team did also extreamly well, we came with 3 children and had no time to tidy the room every day before we left, and they did everything to make the room to look like we just arrived.

We had some issues with the breakfast due to roadworks and swap of our order with another room. It is less about the property but more about the restaurant they are working with. On the other hand, it was a lot of great food when there was no issues.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Everything was as advertised and our experience matched other before us who left good reviews. The location is a few steps from restaurants and shopping and a short 10 minute walk to metro and the famous sites. Manos was extremely helpful in answering our parties tourism questions and getting oriented.

In danish and english: Kan anbefales - venligt personale i reception og rengøring og der er styr på formaliteterne. Transfer fungerede godt. Charmerende, hvis man kan lide det lidt rustikke og “krøllede” og at være meget tæt på Akropolis og gode restauranter og aftenliv - det betaler man også for. Morgenmad er i rigelige mængder, mens der er restriktioner på hvad man kan vælge; det er smag og behag om det fungerer for hver enkelt - det leveres udefra hver morgen til lejligheden. Vi var glade for poolen, men den er meget mindre end på billederne - billederne er måske generelt meget positive i forhold til virkeligheden. Selve hotellet ligger på en vej, der er helt raseret og faldefærdig, men 1 minut derfra er der et turistet og pæn vej med restauranter og barer. Alt er i let gåafstand og det er det som man betaler den høje pris for - alternativt kan man bo udenfor byen til lavere pris og tage på dagsture til centrum i stedet. Det er den afvejning man skal gøre sig i forhold til pris og bookning. Vi var glade for at bo der, men det er et dyrt hotel - og nok også prissat for dyrt i forhold til hvad man får. Vil anbefale det til andre, der vil bo simpelt og samtidig vil bo helt tæt på centrum. Egner sig ikke til meget gangbesværede (lejlighed 4 og 5), idet der er en ekstremt smal og stejl trappe fra stue til soveværelse. Vær også opmærksom på, at der er meget larm fra fest på barerne en stor del af natten i 4 og 5, som var ret forstyrrende. Recommended - friendly staff at reception and cleaning and the formalities are in order. Transfer worked well. Charming, if you like the slightly rustic and "curly" and to be very close to the Acropolis and good restaurants and nightlife - you also pay for that. Breakfast is plentiful, while there are restrictions on what you can choose; it is a matter of taste and preference whether it works for each individual - it is delivered from outside every morning to the apartment. We liked the pool, but it is much smaller than in the pictures - the pictures may generally be very positive compared to reality. The hotel itself is located on a road that is completely destroyed and dilapidated, but 1 minute away there is a touristy and nice road with restaurants and bars. Everything is within easy walking distance and that is what you pay the high price for - alternatively you can stay outside the city at a lower price and go on day trips to the center instead. That is the trade-off you have to make in relation to price and booking. We were happy to stay there, but it is an expensive hotel - and probably also priced too expensive for what you get. Would recommend it to others who want to stay simply and at the same time want to stay very close to the center. Not suitable for those with very limited mobility (apartment 4 and 5), as there is an extremely narrow and steep staircase from the living room to the bedroom. Also be aware that there is a lot of noise from parties in the bars for a large part of the night in 4 and 5, which was quite disturbing. A positive review from us.

I traveled with my father and my 8 year old son. We all loved our stay here. All of the staff was so accommodating and our unit was clean, unique, and charming. Each of us got to pick our own breakfasts which were delivered at our requested time each morning. It was fresh and delicious. As far as location, you're in the heart of shopping, dining, and entertainment. You are walking distance to the major attractions as well. And, there is public transportation nearby - easy to use the metro to and from the airport. The staff does respond via messages through Expedia Group but you should also have a WhatsApp account (which I didn't). This seems to be the go to app in my international travel experiences.

A lovely place right in the heart of Athens. Stayed here with 2 kids and we absolutely loved the location - able to walk everywhere for the key sights and plenty of fantastic restaurants and stores (and gelato spots!) The hospitality of the staff was next level. They were so helpful and responsive to ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast was convenient and wholesome. Highly recommend!

Unser Aufenthalt war von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise perfekt! Die Lage ist einfach top, der kleine Pool ideal zum Abkühlen nach einem Tag in der Stadt, das Frühstücksangebot mit Lieferung zum Zimmer mega! Manos & Dimitris standen rundum die Uhr für Fragen, Empfehlungen oder Tipps zur Verfügung. Auch haben sie uns die Transfers vom/zum Flughafen organisiert. Wir fühlten uns bestens aufgehoben! 100% Empfehlung!

Hotel is zeer goed gelegen. Wij hadden een appartement in Psiri voor ons gezin en we hadden alle ruimte! Heel erg uitgebreid ontbijt... een lunch is niet nodig, want er is zooooo veel Klein plonsbadje voor een verfrissende duik, het mocht wel wat kouder het water. Het was dan ook 41 graden. La posizione in pieno centro che ti permette di girare tutto a piedi. Noi in 4 giorni non abbiamo mai preso i mezzi. La struttura è molto bella e il proprietario Manos non ti fa mancare niente, è sempre molto presente se non fisicamente via Whatsapp. L'ultimo giorno ci ha permesso di rimanere fino alle 13 anzichè alle 11 e lasciare le valigie e usufruire del giardino. La piscina non è grande e anche se non l'abbiamo usata è un plus per le giornate calde. L'appartamento è fornitissimo di tutto (asciugamani, accappatoi, ciabattine e spazzolini usa e getta con il dentifricio e tutti i giorni vengono a riassettare la casa. La colazione molto molto abbondante ti viene consegnata direttamente in casa all'orario che decidi tu e con le scelte fatte da te dal loro menù. Insomma consigliatissimo. Bravo Manos

Se devo trovare un neo dico che il latte su 4 mattine ci è stato servito solo la prima mattina nonostante nell'ordine lo avessimo messo .a è stata una piccolezza in confronto a tutti i plus della struttura.

El alojamiento está situado estupendamente y el personal es encantador, nos dejaron entrar muchísimo antes de la hora estipulada y nos explicaron con detalle todo y nos dieron muchas indicaciones y recomendaciones para nuestra estancia en Atenas. El apartamento está muy bien amueblado y muy limpio, nos dejaron toallas de sobra, tanto para ducha como para la piscina ( un lujo llegar de andar por Atenas y refrescarse en ella) tb teníamos café de nespresso leche, té, agua…tiene todo lo necesario y el desayuno es muy abundante, variado y rico, te lo traen a la habitación dentro de una franja horaria cuando tú lo pides. Sin duda volveríamos, gracias chicos por vuestra amabilidad!

Por poner alguna pega el baño es un poquito justo pero suficiente para unos días

We had a 5 night stay here during our Athens visit. Everything about the stay was wonderful. It was my husband, myself, and our 12 yo daughter. We had the one bedroom apt with the sleeper sofa. My daughter still talks about how much she loved sleeping on the sofa and she is extremely picky about her sleep and comfort levels! There was a nice kitchen although we didn't have a chance to really use it to its full potential. Breakfast was included and comes from a local cafe. You place your order the day before and so many items to choose from. It was all very good and nice to have something to eat before heading out sight seeing. Although I did not feel unsafe in Athens, staying in these apartments with a locked gate was nice and did make you feel very secure. The pool is tiny (pretty much as pictured, so we weren't surprised), but it felt great in the 100 degree heat. Perfect to cool down and relax for a bit in the afternoon. The person who checked us in was very friendly and went out of his way to give us a quick walking tour of the immediate area. We very much enjoyed our conversation with him. But anyone we did encounter was very nice. You definitely get the feeling that they do actually care about their guests here. The location is perfect and I would highly recommend. If we come back to Athens, this is where we would want to stay.

We had a wonderful stay — perfect for families! The location is excellent, with easy access to the main attractions like the Acropolis and lots of fab food options nearby. The small pool was a huge hit with our family after a morning of exploring the city. The free breakfast delivered to our door each morning was such a treat too. The apartment was spotless and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts Manos and Dimitry were incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. We loved staying at the Athenian Residences! From start to finish, the service was excellent with Manos and team coordinating shuttles from/to the airport, getting custom breakfast orders and recommending restaurants (one of which we went to twice - it was that good!). We have two young kids and the apartment was set up perfectly for them. There was a high chair and a small toddler potty and the kids loved swimming in the pool after hot days of sightseeing. We’d definitely come back!!

It was quite noisy. Did not expect the sound level coming in while sleeping. The mattresses are too soft and a lot of quality.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was perfect, nicely tucked away from the busier, tourist-heavy areas, yet still very close to everything we needed. There were great cafés, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. The property itself was well-maintained, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A special mention goes to Manos, who was absolutely wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was delivered fresh to our door each morning—absolutely delicious and such a treat to start the day. The windows were straight onto the street so you couldn’t really open to let natural light in. The downstairs in particular felt very dark. Bathroom very small.

Booking this hotel is a no brainer! The service from our hosts was second to none. They made sure we had everything we needed and were responsive to questions. The property is so cute and simply the best location for walking everywhere. I had known the dining in Psyrri would be good but it was way beyond anything I could imagine. Much better than eating in Monastiraki or Plaka. The pool was incredible and refreshing on the very warm August days and evenings. The courtyard is cozy and can really only accommodate about 6-8 people hanging out there at a time. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Outside with swimming Pool and terrace with enough privacy in the middle of Psiri in a qiuet Street. Inside was spacious with a kitchenette, bathroom and livingroom. Downstairs two nice bedrooms.

Lovely apartment. Perfectly situated for the Acropolis, Agora and all the shops and restaurants around Monastikiri. The host, Manos, was the incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The inclusive breakfast was enough for lunch as well! Fabulous stay. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Très bel établissement très bien situé dans le quartier des restaurants mais qui reste globalement calme car dans une petite rue, très agréable bien équipé, la piscine est un plus pour se remettre des très fortes chaleurs athéniennes, le personnel est très accueillant et très serviable, ils ont même trouvé une solution alors que je m'étais trompé dans mes réservations, le petit déjeuner est très copieux ( voir trop)

We had a fantastic stay in Athens, choosing a wonderful Athenianian accommodation in the heart of the Old City. The location was perfect—walking distance to all the best shopping, bars, and restaurants. The vibrant, colorful atmosphere of the area brought it to life, especially at night, creating a truly authentic Athenian experience. Our room was well equipped, and we slept soundly thanks to the block-out blinds. Manos was an incredible host, an encyclopedia of local knowledge—he provided great tips on accessing the Acropolis, the best shopping and dining spots, and perfect places for sundowners. The hotel was secure, well-appointed, and offered a comfortable, safe base to explore all the sights and activities in the area.Dont drive in Athens ,parking is an issue . Overall, a beautiful and lively part of Athens—highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the authentic local vibe with plenty to see and do.

This place was a gem- perfect room set up for us and our 2 x 18 year olds, walkable to so many historic sites including the Acropolis, flea market and restaurants and bars, and the plunge pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day of siteseeing. The breakfast were huge and we saved the sandwiches for lunch there was so much. Manos and Joseph couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and lovely. Absolutely lovely.

Lovely apartment, nicely furnished, streaming services in the TV. Superb terrace with a pool was a great refreshment in Athenian summer heat. The host - Manos, is a super nice guy, he was helpful and we felt very welcome. He even bought us a breakfast-to-go as we had an early flight and coulnd’t have the breakfast at the accomodation. He also gave us a recommendation for a great authentic restaurant just around the corner. The neighbourhood is lively, full of nice restaurants, bars and shops, it’s also close to Acropolis. We stayed only one night, but we will definitely return:)

There is a bar/club on the street and it was noisy in the evening. I used earplugs and slept well anyway, but people might mind this.

This hotel was beautiful and so amazing for a family. we stayed in the family suite- they had everything- a kid step stool, highchair, little potty, all the things! Demetrius was so kind and helpful at check in and during our stay. The breakfast offered was huge and a great perk! The only downfall was the music at night in the surrounding neighborhood was a bit loud but white noise helped! It was spotless and the daily service in the room was amazing to come back to. The little plunge pool was an amazing break for my kids to come back to after exploring in hot athens!

Manos was super helpful and responsive to any of our questions. Gave a lot of good recommendations for places to eat. In our departure day there was a taxi strike and he helped arrange for private transport
