It had lift access. It was in the right place for our cycle trip. It had cycle storage. The staff were really lovely and helpful.

It was very anonymous. Cycle storage a little worrying re security. Lots of noise from other guests - poor or no sound insulation.

Staff helpful and very friendly. Good choice for breakfast with reasonable prices. The location is good, easy walk to the seafront.

Room was small and could do with a refresh.

Our room looked to have been recently decorated and was really comfortable. It was an accessible room which meant the bathroom was really large, which was a bonus ! Hotel location is good and was great for us as we were going to the Webster Theatre right across the road. The hotel has a god size bar and dining area and is generally pretty busy, which is good. Staff at the hotel are really friendly too.

The Seagulls obviously, but nil anyone can do about that. I found it hard to sleep, there was a buzzing noise like a fan or something running all night? Otherwise no complaints . We were in room 5. Didnt put me off ,just an observation, would stay again

Creaky floorboards, rusty handrails in bathroom. This is an old style hotel and needs some upgrading but we had a lovely stay.

Staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much for them. Food was really good, but didn't do porridge for breakfast. Excellent Location.

Rooms in the pictures when booking were not what we received. Double room we received was very tight. Would have been nice to have comfy chairs, as there is no area to sit and relax in the hotel. Twin room booked was bigger, but picture when booking had a couch, which wasnt in this room. There was a smell of cooking grease in the room, maybe install an automatic air freshener.

This hotel really looks after cyclists, you're warmly greeted and it's easy to store your bikes off the street. The rooms are comfortable and I slept well.

Staff are excellent. They are pleasant and very helpful. They remembered us from.previous visits. The food is good too. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The situation of the hotel is very central.

The room was very comfortable but could benefit from a few additions eg tumblers in the bathroom. Had to use tea cups to have a drink of water. Bath sheets instead of bath towels. A few more drawers would be handy rather than leaving things in a suitcase.

The room was a good size. It had tea and coffee making facilities . The staff were lovely and very helpful. Bed was comfy and the location is great to explore. The car park just around from the hotel is also free which was great. We had some lovely cocktails in the bar and then in the morning paid for the breakfast which was really good value and tasty.

There was no air conditioning and the window barely opened which given the heat the last few weeks made it very uncomfortable, however I asked for a fan and the staff brought one straight up for us which was really good. The bathroom had some rusting in places.

No sleep because of the seagulls a nightmare, so the location was spot on. But due to the nose from the gulls not stopping there again .

From the onset all the staff was so lovely, friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay which was for a family funeral. They couldn't have been kinder. The breakfasts were very good value and to be recommended. The offer of £5 cocktails made it even more special , and that's from a Yorkshire person xx

The rooms were perfectly clean but just a little smaller than expected.

The room was in the center close to the sea, there was also a restaurant with good food and a bar. Staff was very friendly.

It was very noisy, with the windows open there was a loud ventilation, probably from the kitchen? You could hear the people from other rooms or above walking half the night, and the old floor creaking.

A few doors were noisy outside the bedrooms when people didn't bother to close them quietly (maybe self closers need looking at ?)

We have stayed a few times in different seasons always been excellent. Room 4 is the favourite to date.

I liked that there was a lift for the higher floor. The beds were comfy. The room we got was near the off-set angled roof so we had 2 windows at an unusual angle and it’s very cool! Both windows had black out blinds.

Honestly… nothing on the staff or the hotel, but it was sheer bad luck for mines and dads stay because the WiFi box was down and even with the staff rebooting the box like 5 times — it remained down during our stay.

The bedroom was large and bed was comfortable

The toilet seat was loose and moved around when sat on, issue reported and was tightened,however the same problem continued. There was a broken floor tile which was loose but taped down until repair when we left next day, other floor tiles were cracked. The entrance to the shower had quite a large step which was challenging for me with mobility issues and no grab rail.

The bar was a bit pricey But had a good stock.

The fan in the room barely worked so the room became unpleasant in what was a warm but not unduly hot night. Bathroom not particularly clean. Needed Binos to watch the small TV. Staff were pleasant. We were happy to leave and do not feel tempted to eat in the bar/restaurant.

Ropy hotel. Frayed round the edges. Dirty. Useless equipment such as the fan in the room being sun-optimal.

Room was clean but furniture is old and tired . Seagulls noise kept me awake ( I know early are supplied) but it was a noisy night and I didn’t sleep. Was also disturbed by the people in next room . Could hear them chatting , going to the toilet , snoring etc .

A bit complicated to find the public car park. In the end I parked on a side street about five minutes away.

Staff were friendly and polite and it was clean. Location was decent.

I think the price of alcohol at the bar was insanely high considering wetherspoon was less than 100 steps from the hotel door. A pint of Tennents lager at the hotel was over £5 but at Wetherspoon's the same pint was £2.80. My bed was also small and uncomfortable. There was also no toilet brush in the bathroom. I've stayed at youth hostels for £30 a night that had comfy mattress and a toilet brush. We didn't use the restaurant because we felt it was over priced. From the bedroom to the booze and the grub in-between. It seems like a money making racket designed to hit the tourist wallets. We went for Traditional home cooked Moroccan food at a small family run restaurant round the corner. The food there was exceptional and it only cost £24 for me and my wife and that included drinks. We also went to a all you can eat chip shop buffet that cost £15 per person.

Das Haus ist - wie die ganze Stadt Arbroath und deren High Street - jedoch in einem schlimmen Zustand. Bar und Restaurant waren gut.

Gute Lage - etwas schwierig zu parken, aber es ist möglich.

Zimmer hat etwas nach Rauch gerochen, Bad an vielen Stellen rostig, Ausblick leider nur auf dreckiges Dach vom Nebenhaus.

I loved the breakfast choices which were on offer.

Our room smelled like cooking from the kitchen during the entire stay - day and night. The carpet was old, the walls needed cleaning and painting.

Emma was so very kind and helpful for all the questions we had. She even booked our taxi for us. Not too far from the train station. Would be a harder walk if you had more than one piece of luggage.

The seagulls outside the window that sounded like they were being strangled. LOL.

The breakfast was fine, just a small criticism, maybe consider side plates as had to butter toast on breakfast plate. The location was ideal for the theatre.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit Pub. Das Zimmer ging hinten raus und der Blick aus dem Fenster war recht unschön. Ältere billige Einrichtung, was uns aber nicht störte. Bei dem günstigen Preis kann man nicht mehr erwarten. Wie haben im Pub gegessen und gefrühstückt. Beides war sehr lecker. In Arbroath ist der wunderschöne Cliff-Trail sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten ist es ein sterbendes Städtchen.

Wir hatten ein Twin und die Betten waren die schmalsten, die uns bisher untergekommen sind. Man musste aufpassen, dass man beim Umdrehen nicht herausfällt. Die Wände und Decken sind sehr hellhörig. Über uns ist jemand die halbe Nacht hergewandert und heimkehrende Gäste haben ziemlichen Radau gemacht. Dementsprechend war es für uns eine unruhige Nacht.

Hotelzimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen und das Gebäude sehr hellhörig. Man hört die Nachbarzimmer durch und die Stockwerke drüber hört man laufen. Es liegen Ohrstöpsel bereit wegen der Möwen....
