Staff were wonderful, especially “Ting” the man in charge of breakfast. And the cooked to order breakfast dishes especially the smoked salmon with poached eggs was superb. Lovely spot on an uncrowded allowing for long walks.

If you book here I’d recommended not booking rooms #1-4 as they are closest to the busy main road.

Everything was exceptional. We loved our room, the pool, the breakfast, the staff, everything. This was our favorite part of our trip to Thailand.

Humble Villas was exactly the kind of quiet retreat we were hoping for. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, and the staff were kind and welcoming the entire stay. Being a small property with just a handful of villas, it never felt touristy it had a genuinely homey, personal feel that bigger resorts just can't match. This side of the island is wonderfully quiet, and that's really what makes staying here so special. You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves right outside, with the hotel sitting directly on the beach. Breakfast was some of the best we had anywhere in Koh Samui a great way to start each day. Since this particular beach isn't really set up for lounging all day, we rented a motorbike to get out and explore, and it turned out to be the perfect way to experience the island. Humble Villas made a fantastic home base, with some of the best beaches on Koh Samui just a short ride away. If you're looking for something small, peaceful, and authentic rather than big and flashy, this is the place. We loved every minute.

Es war leider eine Baustelle neben an. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts und sie ist sicher bald abgeschlossen.

We loved the private pool on our terrace. The room was also very spacious, clean, and charming. The bathroom was gigantic. There is a mosquito net around the bed, which was very convenient. The staff at the breakfast was extremely friendly. We stayed in room number 6, which had a lot of privacy. Looks like the pictures. Would recommend it to friends or family.

The location is quite isolated. Be aware that there is nothing in walking distance except for a few restaurants and the beach. Prepare yourself for having to use a scooter or taxi for transportation to the other villages on the island. The taxi to Fishermans Village, for example, is around 30-40 minutes and 12 euros each way. However, it worked fine for us during our 4 days in the hotel. The tiles around the pool are very slippery.

We booked Humble Villa for 3 nights for our honeymoon, but unfortunately, we had to check out within just 3–4 hours because we genuinely did not feel safe staying there. The property was not maintained properly at all. The villa size was extremely small compared to the price charged, and the private pool was visibly dirty and clearly not cleaned before our arrival. There was no room service available, and overall, the experience was very disappointing. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of staff support. During checkout, no proper staff member was available. Only a random person was present, who asked us to come back in the morning. We explained our concerns and requested a refund due to the condition and safety issues, but it was denied without any professionalism or understanding. Additionally, we noticed many stray dogs roaming around the property area late at night, while there was no staff available for any emergency situation. As honeymoon travelers, this made us extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Overall, this was a highly unprofessional experience and completely different from what was advertised online. We would not recommend this property, especially for couples or families looking for a safe and comfortable stay.

Das Personal war mega nett, besonders der Mann vom Frühstück war top!! Die Anlage ist klein mit nur 12 Villen, die in zweierreihe kompaktt angeordnet sind. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet, man wählt aus einer Karte aus. Wenn man Massagen wünscht, wird diese fürs Zimmer vom Hotel organisiert.

Die Lage ist weit Außerhalb. Es gibt ein italienische Restaurant und ein etwas gehobenes Restaurant, drei kleine Minimarket - für Getränke sind fußläufig erreichbar. Keine Massage. Wir haben bei unsere Buchung die Gezeiten nicht berücksichtigt- somit war am Tag Ebbe - was das Schwimmen im Meer unmöglich macht. Kein Wasser und viele Steine. Roller oder Auto erforderlich.

C’était d’une propreté et d’un calme remarquables. Le personnel, très accueillant et attentionné, a su nous chouchouter tout au long de notre séjour. Notre chambre était parfaite, et les deux piscines (privée et commune) sont profondes et impeccables. Le petit-déjeuner offre une belle variété de choix. Je recommande à 100 %.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Tout était top ! Il faut être véhiculé car l’hôtel se trouve un petit peu loin de tout.

Wat een prachtige accomodatie met een waanzinnige view en eigen zwembadje voor de deur. Het personeel in ontzettend vriendelijk en het ontbijt is goed. Het grote zwembad is ook heerlijk voor de afwisseling. De zonsondergang was de mooiste die we tijdens de vakantie hadden gezien, wauw! In de buurt kun je lekker eten bij Vows (aan het strand)

Private infinity pool and the communal pool were amazing. Our room (no.1) had an incredible view. Bed super comfortable. Bathroom spacious.

Staffs were friendly especially Tim from Cafe . He is the first person to made us have good laugh every morning thru out our stay. Bravo Tim ! Breakfast were good as well the big pool .

There is no TV for some movie’s entertainment. It is a must go fix one !

J’ai trouvé un peu cher pendant la (bonne) saison.

This was way over our expectations. The rooms are very fresh. A lot of extra stuff was included in the room that made our experience so much better. We got free chips, soda and 5 bottles of water everyday. The room included beach robes and bags and towels. The list goes on really. The staff was so friendly and helpful. And a big shoutout the breakfast host that made our experience sooo much better, you deserve to be paid in gold.. speaking of breakfast, it was à la carte style with everything including, no extra charge , absolutely the best breakfast in our hole Thailand trip.

Maybe that is far away from everything, but we knew that, made it a bit cozy.

Pool and breakfast was amazing and staff are super helpful and friendly. Great sunset views and a few nice spots for dinner nearby - Vows was lovely as was the mango tree for dinner and the motorbike shop for drinks. ‘Handsome Tee’ (he has a great sense of humour!!) - our breakfast host - was our fave!

There are works happening next door although considering this it wasn’t super noisy or dusty - just a bit annoying. Would have loved a few more lounge chairs and umbrellas if there’s more than 1 couple at the pool for some privacy. Also a couple more glasses to take drinks to the pool would be amazing but this is just a nice to have

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in den Humble Villas auf Koh Samui! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal – sowohl an der Rezeption als auch beim Frühstücksservice. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der kleine private Pool war ein echtes Highlight – perfekt, um sich zu erfrischen und einfach mal zu entspannen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der angebotene Roller-Verleih sowie der zuverlässige Taxi-Service, was die Erkundung der Insel sehr angenehm macht. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nous n’avons eu que deux bémols pour notre séjour de 10 jours : - Dommage que l’hôtel soit assez loin du centre de l’île. Très compliqué de trouver un taxi/Uber en fin de journée pour aller vers le centre de l’île. Je recommande de louer un scooter pour pouvoir se déplacer plus librement. - Dommage également qu‘il n‘y ait pas de restaurant sur place, pour les soirs où nous n‘avons pas très envie de sortir dîner à l’extérieur. Pour le reste, nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Das Hotel ist au der ruhigeren Seite der Insel. Mit schönen Sonnenuntergängen. Ein schöner Ausblick aufs Meer beim Frühstück. (Nur Frühstück) Gutes Partnerrestaurant Vowe. Das Hotel ist sehr klein und gemütlich jedoch ohne TV. Die Minibar war gratis und das Frühstück war klein aber fein. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für mich hats perfekt gepasst. Sehr ruhig❤

Das es kein TV hatte bzw. nicht mal die möglichkeit etwas zu streamen, da das internet automatisch alles blockt. Sehr schade. Zimmer waren süss mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet, habe jedoch einige staubige Ecken entdeckt. Der Strandteil der zum Hotel gehört ist sehr klein und nebenan war eine Baustelle, was mich trotz bauarbeiten nicht gross störte, was ich aber schlimm fand war wie der Strand für seine grösse verschmutzt war, auf der Baustellenseite sah es aus, als würden die MA ihre PET Fläschli einfach raus auf den Strand werfen überall lagen Flaschen rum😝 es ist sehr schade das da nicht besser sorge dazu getragen wird, vom Hotel wie von den Baustellenmitarbeiter. Ja liieber würden die zwei Herren welche für die Umgebungssauberkeit schauten, sich auch mal um den Strand kümmern als unnötig den Roller P zu wischen😅 🙏 Ansonsten Top👍

Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich! A la Carte auf der Terrasse direkt am Strand, Buffet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Unglaublich zuvorkommendes Personal, liebevoll serviert und sehr schmackhaft. Auch thailändische Spezialitäten. Im Zimmer gibt es Klimaanlage, Deckenventilator, Kühlschrank mit gratis Getränken, kleine Snacks, wird täglich kostenlos ergänzt.

Un peu déçue de la différence entre les photos et la réalité, pas mal d’usures, les finitions ne sont pas parfaites. Nous n’avons pas apprécié le petit déjeuner, sauf les fruits proposés.

The Humble Villas is a beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet area with shops and restaurants in walking distance, direct beach access and a gorgeous pool area. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, a highlight being the personal plunge pool and stunning views. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. The breakfast was incredible, so much choice and all delicious. The service was impeccable. We loved our time here and would highly recommend The Humble Villas to anyone looking for a memorable stay on Koh Samui.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, etwas abgelegen, aber Restaurants und Rollervermietung in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, das gesamte Personal super freundlich. Wir haben und sehr wohlgefühlt.

Kein klassischer Supermarkt in Fußnähe, aber das ist auch das einizige

We loved our stay here, cannot complain about anything! The location is just magical.. a few steps from your bed and you’re on a beautiful white sandy beach. The rooms and grounds are kept immaculately clean (the staff cleaned our room daily and there were groundsmen going round daily keeping the grounds clean, watering the plants and tidying up the beachfront), the food is amazing (we loved our morning poke bowls and iced matcha lattes), the staff are so lovely and attentive they really cannot do enough for you and take good care of you during your stay. You can hear the ocean while you’re laid in the big comfy bed, just so nice! The surrounding area has everything you need, so many nice local restaurants with delicious food and a 7/11 across the road, the beach that the hotel looks out on is lovely and clean - we enjoyed daily long walks on it in the sun and a dip after in the stunning turquoise sea. If we ever come back to Samui we will be staying here! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

Wonderful staff, high selection of breakfest, good location in less developed/calmer part of the island. Yet, close to major spots. Not far from Nathon night market, and secluded beaches.

Le ville sono meravigliose. Noi avevamo la n°1, credo una con più privacy. La colazione cucinata sul momento era qualcosa di magico. Posizionato per vedere tramonti spettacolari. Staff sempre sorridente e gentile. La piccola Nick è stata meravigliosa e professionale, tutte le aziende dovrebbero avere una Nick nel suo staff. Un plauso anche a T per la cordialità e sempre col sorriso sul volto.

Purtroppo fuori da ogni centro, a 40 min da tutto. La spiaggia non è delle migliori, ma la sera è percorribile per via della bassa marea.

Tout est mis à disposition : tongs, peignoirs, natte de plage, sac de plage… Le personnel est très agréable et attentif ! Le petit déjeuner est excellent. La piscine privative est de la taille qu’il faut, l’eau à la bonne température. Nous étions chambre 7, nous avions vu sur le toit du bungalow en dessous de nous et surtout sur la mer. C’était plutôt intimiste avec assez d’intimité ! Le lit est confortable, il y a une moustiquaire que nous n’avons pas eu besoin d’utiliser.

L’isolation pourrait être un petit peu mieux (parfois on entendait parler nos voisins, mais si chacun est respectueux des autres (ce qui a été le cas) il n’y a pas de problème 🙂)

Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamer en goede service.

Emplacement, piscine privé , petit déjeuner très bon avec du choix ( pas trop fan des jus ). La chambre est incroyable , extrêmement bien équipé ! La vue sur mer avec sunset nous a éblouie . Le personnel est chaleureux et aux petits soins . 10/10 Seul petit bémol un peu bruyant dans l’après midi car il y a une construction a côté de la villa. Mais bon cela est indépendant de leur volonté , l’île est magnifique il y a pas mal d’activités et balades à faire.

It was very peaceful and quiet in the area. We were very lucky to be there during spring tide, so we had a beautiful beach with shallow water to lounge in.

No option for food or drink after breakfast, and very few options nearby.

The room was very nice, although I feel the bathroom is just about ready for a renovation. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good; plenty to eat and good choices. The pool was lovely; both the communal one and our little private one. All staff were very helpful. It was a nice quiet location, but you do need transport if you are there for more than a few days.

Probably needed to have explained that you could not even put toilet paper in the toilet, rather than a sign that just said "no trash"; this was rectified with an explicit sign! The building works next door were not too bad but if you wanted to sleep during the day, that could have been difficult. Hard to avoid though; there's construction happening everywhere.

Gorgeous property with sunset and ocean views. Good coffee. Loved the little pool. Room had everything we needed. Check in and out was very easy. Great location. Quiet.

From the images we thought our room would be right on the beach but none of them are as there is a shared pool and small restaurant for breakfast below. We would have loved some mood lighting. Shower is confusing to operate.

It looked nothing like pictures as far as on the beach and in the sand. We thought we had a private beach access right from our room and pool. Major cat fish. Beach was super dirty and full of trash . Super rocky and the location is far from the airport

Der Service ist wirklich unfassbar gut. Ich kann mich den anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Das ganze Team ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist unbeschreiblich gut. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist unschlagbar; man hat seine Privatsphäre. Fußläufig sind ein paar kleine Restaurants erreichbar. Ansonsten empfiehlt sich ein Roller, den haben wir super unkompliziert über das Hotel angemietet.

Wer Luxus Urlaub machen will, ist hier falsch. Es ist schon an der ein oder anderen Ecke mal der Lack abgeplatzt, aber alles war immer super sauber.
