the main bathroom needs more light. even a lamp in there would help.

2 bathrooms split between 9 people was a bit of a stretch. Foosball table does not work, darts need to be replaced.

Groceries from car to kitchen required alot of walking up and down stairs. Gas fire was difficult to keep going but once it stayed going it warmed up the area well. Needs a pair of scissors in the kitchen too.

Reviewed Feb 1, 2025The property was great, location and facilities. The family loved the spa and the games room with table tennis and heaps of games! Had a great time. Plenty of crockery/cutlery and good cooking facilities and BBQ. Great place to stay, highly recommend.
Nothing really, I guess a lot of stairs so perhaps not suitable for the elderly. Also that you couldn't use the spa after 9pm as usually by the time you've settled from dinner would be around 8pm so only an hour in the spa and would have been nice to enjoy in the evening when it gets dark... guess over winter that would be better when it's cooler and dark earlier but over summer, not so. Otherwise was great.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2024The house is fantastic for families and our kids loved the ping pong and hot tub. Great size for 2 families and we especially liked the layout of the house.
As the house was located in a quiet neighbourhood, we were made to feel like we had to be extra quiet after 9pm (a bit difficult with kids from the ages of 6 - 15 years old), especially with all the notices from the Lakehouse to be respectful of the neighbours. Although we're not particularly noisy, we just felt like we couldn't fully enjoy the evenings. The hot tub could have been warmer (we went in winter).

Reviewed Jun 11, 2024Great location, very convenient to town. Spacious & bright living area with expansive views. Well equipped - we loved the games room set up in the garage and the spa. Good heating and very clean.
Several of the light bulbs weren’t working. Had to buy a bulb for the ensuite bathroom. The mattress in the master bedroom was rather saggy. The heated towel rails in the bathrooms didn’t both work at the same time - if one was on, the other one wouldn’t work. One of the kitchen power points appeared to be faulty and tripped a fuse in the fusebox.
