Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The ibis Osaka Umeda has a great location as it's located basically right next to Osaka Station. It did not seems obvious to first time tourists, but underground there's a whole maze of tunnels with restaurants, shops, etc. all over that area. ibis Osaka Umeda is connected to it, so when I was trying to get there it does not show that you have to walk in the underground area, not street level. Also, the service of luggage forwarding and the breakfast is good, with Japanese and international-style food. Finally, in Osaka station you will find all the shops for Nintendo, Pokémon, Capcom, etc.
Overall a good hotel, no complaints only that they would mention somewhere how to get there at either street level or underground, as it is not something a tourist would know.

L'hotel è situato nella zona della movida tradizionale giapponese, vicino puoi trovare combini, Karaoke privati, e sale giochi. Nella hall su possono prendere gratuitamente dentifricio e spazzolino
Unica pecca che non ha la lavanderia al suo interno.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Konumu, temizliği son derece iyi. Osaka’da ulaşım ağının tam göbeğinde olması büyük avantaj. Etrafından bir çok restoran var ve tren istasyonundan otele doğrudan çıkış olması güzeldi.
Kahvaltısı bir daha uluslararası olabilirdi. İbis tercih etme sebebim uluslarası kahvaltı vereceğini düşünmemdi. Bu sebeple biraz hayalkırıklığı oldu.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Unfortunately, I do not recommend staying at this hotel, especially as an Accor loyalist. I checked out after just 30 minutes due to the poor hotel condition and extremely chaotic & surprisingly dirty neighborhood. Not to mention, this hotel is not family friendly. While small rooms are to be expected in Japan, the rooms here lack all function. I even booked their largest room with no seating or usable space for your belongings. It's a very bare-boned room, when other hotels around Japan have far better & more modern room designs. When I went to share my feedback, the front desk aggressively told me that it "was not my problem" because customer service and a high quality guest experience is not their priority. Even with the convenience of Osaka Station, there are far better & higher quality hotels in the neighborhood and greater Osaka area, like APA Hotels or Candeo Hotels, for much better pricing.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Les chambres était très bien aménagées et les lits confortables. L'hôtel est situé à proximité de la gare d'Osaka, mais nos chambres donnaient sur l'arrière donc au calme. Le quartier est très vivant et rempli de restaurants et de commerces. Le petit déjeuner était très bien.
La taille des chambres mais c'est le cas dans plusieurs établissements au Japon. Pas assez de place pour ouvrir ses valises. Comme on n'y a passé qu'une seule nuit, ce n'était pas trop gênant pour nous.

冷蔵庫の庫内が小さく、ペットボトル数本入る程度。駅地下なので食べ物には困りませんが、飲み物や冷蔵のお土産などが入らず多少不便でした。 もう少し安ければ、朝食も利用したかったです。

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026I had a very pleasant stay at ibis Osaka Umeda. The hotel is located right in the heart of Osaka, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and other convenient facilities. The location made it very easy to explore the city, especially with the hotel being connected to the train station via the underground area. I already knew that my flight would arrive in Osaka in the morning of August 7, 2026, so I decided to book my room starting from August 6. This was a great decision because I was able to go directly to my room and rest immediately after arriving, which made my trip much more comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I also really liked the amenity kit available at the front desk, where guests can simply pick up what they need. It was a small but very thoughtful touch. The room was clean and comfortable. It was not very large, but that is quite typical for ibis hotels in Japan, and it was still well organized and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at ibis Osaka Umeda. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent access to public transportation. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.

The rooms were quite small, but got the job done. The location of this hotel, for me at least was worth it even with the problems. especially for the price. The beds were comfortable, and clean.

地下道範圍寬廣，叉路多，要小心迷路；要避開上下班時間。

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026A localização é sem dúvidas ótima. Principalmente para quem visita no verão onde as temperaturas estão bem altas. Eles tem uma saída do hotel que dá direto a galeria subterrânea. A limpeza estava excelente.
Poderia ter uma bancada maior ou mais espaço para abrir as malas, mas entendo que é uma cultura do país.

走地下街找飯店非常容易迷路 如果天氣沒有不好的話 建議上一樓從外面走會比較快 飯店櫃台空間很小 加上一堆寄放在電梯前方的行李 人多會擠在那

Every evening, there was a terrible smell of frying in the 8th-floor corridors (likely coming from the kitchen exhaust feeding into the air conditioning system). We had to keep the unit in the room turned off constantly.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Gewohnt guter IBIS-Standard, obwohl die Zimmer schon seeehr klein waren - auch für japanische Verhältnisse. Alles sehr sauber - japanische Verhältnisse. Gesamtes Staff sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück mehr als ausreichend, auch keine Wartezeiten. Zahlreiche Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Direkt um die Ecke der Umeda-Bahnhof, dadurch sehr gute Anbindung in alle Richtungen. Zum Bahnhof Shin-Osaka ca. 30 minuten.
Abends roch es stark nach Essen auf unserer Etage (es war die achte), was man auch noch im Zimmer wahrnehmen konnte. Die Lüftung half da nicht wirklich und das Fenster war nicht zu öffnen. Die Bar hätte auch gerne etwas länger geöffnet sein können, 20:00 Uhr ist doch recht früh.

No view from our window there was just another building right there so we couldn’t even see the sky or ground.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Great location for folks looking for night life and access to underground shopping and restaurants. Ideal for young people who don’t need much space.
The rooms are fairly small, even for Japan, and the location isn’t ideal for families, but overall we were quite happy with our stay.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026部屋から謎の音がしており、フロントに連絡すると、直ぐに別の部屋を手配してくださり、アップグレードしていた。フロントスタッフが真摯に対応してくださり、ありがたかった。 隣の部屋の音もせず、ゆっくりできた。
廊下と部屋の匂いが気になった。 歯ブラシが大きくて硬いので、歯が痛くなった。

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Heart of the city, but in business area. Still we loved the experience. Especially having an elevator directly to underground market. Ypu can simply go around in umeda without stepping outside. Friendly staffs and they have been always helpful. Thank you
Amongst all hotels we stayed this one has the smallest rooms, but it is negligible if you stay short

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026Wir hatten nur eine Übernachtung inkl. Frühstück. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr vielfältig, man hatte eine große Auswahl, wir haben es etwas bereit nur eine Nacht dagewesen zu sein. Andere Hotels haben deutlich weniger geboten, das merken wir uns fürs nächste mal. Die Lage war auch super, direkt am Hotspot und mit Bahn ist man sehr schnell da wo man hin will.
Im Bad hätte es mehr Möglichkeiten geben können um die Handtücher aufzuhängen.

滞在中フロントに1人も日本人を見かけなかった。 別に日本人じゃないとどうと言う事ではないが、何言ってるかわからないとか、知りたい事をスムーズに得る事が出来ないのは、小さなストレスの積み重ねになる。日本人が1人でもいれば済んだ事。外国人スタッフは、わからない事を解決しようとせず、マジで適当に答える。 結局別のスタッフに聞くと言う労力とストレス。そして、だったらあの説明はなんだったんだ！と言う苛立ち。フロントの中国系ぽい女性とインド系の女性、フロント業務はいかがなものかと思う。朝食の受付案内係の女性も、こちらが困った時に声かけしてもガン無視。仕事したくないなら何故そこにいるのか。仕事中にストレッチしてんじゃないよ。 朝食が人気そうだと思い予約したが、大した内容ではなかった。地下からアクセス出来るのは良いが、あまり良い場所ではない為、子連れには不向き。実際子連れは全く見かけなかった。今どきネトフリやアマプラも入ってないし、水も部屋にないし。あれだけ外人ばっか使ってたら正直盗難や衛生面が気になった。実際、部屋着はシワシワでした。家族のパジャマ置いときましたレベル。あんなの初めてだった。教育する人も外国人なんだろな。客も外国人なら何も思わないだろからいーのかも。ここに泊まる事は二度とない。

Unterkunft war leider nicht ganz so sauber wie wir es von anderen Hotels in Japan erlebt hatten (z.B. Haare in der Dusche), insgesamt aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok.
