Looking is great. Loved the rooftop pool and restaurant.
It's a bit pricey for the starkness of the room, but bed was super comfy and mountain view excellent.
It is in a good location if you want to walk or bike around. The restaurant on the roof, Cimera, had delicious food and great views. I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the roof deck. The pool is small, though. There are also great options in the same building for food and beverage and on site. Smoke was just OK to me, but I really enjoyed the barista at Safta. Point is, this is a great place to stay to see the mountains and grab a bite. Go to Denver Central Market and try Izzio and Vero.
I did not like that the hotel automatically charges you $15/day for the rooftop restaurant, Cimera. It forced me to go to the restuarant because it becomes a $15 credit there or ou just lose $15. However, the restaurant was good so it worked out, but I do not like my hand to be forced. There is no microwave in the room, but you can request one. If it is available, they will bring it to your room. If you have the bright idea to take the train from Denver airport and walk to The Source, let me caution you. This does not reflect on the hotel, but the pedestrian bridge you must cross to get over to The Source had broken elevators when I was there in August 2026. I had a 47-pound suitcase and a 15-pound backpack. I had to scale multiple flights of stairs with it all because I did not budget for a rideshare.
A friend and I stayed at The Source Wed-Fri for a concert at the Red Rocks. We arrived about 11a and they allowed us to use the pool prior to check in and we were able to check in at 2p without an extra fee. The room was well appointed, comfy, and the shower was great. Very easy for two friends to get ready for the day. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Good food options right at the hotel as well. The walk isn’t terrible (about 20 mins) to downtown, but the train tracks definitely make it a longer walk. Don’t be afraid to use the veo scooters. They are a fun, fast, and cheaper than an Uber. I would definitely stay here again.
Everyone was very accommodating and the hotel is a cool modern industrial vibe in a very trendy and artsy neighborhood. Good barbecue restaurant on the second floor. Would come again!
Location was near a family wedding, which is why we chose the hotel.
The price for the room was, in our estimation, overpriced. The room had all the ambiance of a youth hostel, without the bunk beds and a nicer bathroom.
Rooftop pool and restaurants
High cost
Hosted a business meeting here in their ballroom and it was lovely. The space was just what the group needed with lots of light and the ability to open windows for fresh air. The food for the event was also excellent- so much better than food at usual hotels that hose events. The event staff was also excellent, responsive and attentive ensuring everything was well taken care of. Thanks for everything!
Professional staff, clean facilities, highly recommend.
Modern eingerichtet. Funktional. Tolles Rooftop Restaurant
Location, restaurants in the market hall - incredibile sushi. Great work spaces. Sunset from pool/bar area is worth seeing.
Booked for three people and there was no bedding for the third person on the sofa bed. Had to call through of this. Staff did supply quickly but the booking was clearly made for three. Lack of breakfast options on site.
My wife and I stayed here for the first time, on a trip to see baseball at Coors Field. The decor overall is very modern - in some ways a little severe in the hotel rooms (unpainted concrete ceilings, perhaps as a nod to the former iron foundry to which the hotel is connected). At first, I was put off by the severity of the room’s decor. But the second level, which includes two restaurants and plenty of tables and furniture groupings for people to work or mingle, has a similar design aesthetic, but one that looked and felt better. There’s very little in the way of stores or shops to walk to nearby, which is probably why there was a steady influx of young professionals who gathered there. But the hotel’s very accessible by car to lots of attractions in and beyond the RINO District. In the end, I felt that I’d be happy to stay there again, especially because of their excellent top-floor pan-Latin restaurant and bar Cimera (more about that in a separate review) and their pool deck.
Pool area and bar was lovely
My room was super noisy with air conditioning units just outside window. They offered a loaded burrito at the BBQ restaurant and that was about it for breakfast within walking distance. Don’t care for concrete floors and gray walls. Staff was great.
Modern, clean hotel with spacious room and great view. Quiet. Facilities onsite include a fantastic rooftop restaurant/bar with amazing views and a small roof top pool. The main restaurant had one of the most amazing sunday brunch buffets I've ever had (quite pricey though). Very nice staff. Walking distance to Mission Ballroom venue.
The location is a bit of a challenge. If you want to go to the LoDo attractions, it is a fifteen minute walk going over the railroad track overpass (elevators are out of service) or take an uber. The options for dining and entertainment on the north side of the tracks were a bit limited.
Design is cute but pricey for what it is.
First room toilet over flood and flooded the whole suite into the hallway was nicely put into another suite that had the same problème, toilet that wasn’t flushing but did not overflow. Seemed like staff was used to it. I think for the price you pay for a suite things should be working. Happens both early in the morning ruined my mornings, bad sleep is not what you’re looking for in a hotel. AC in first room was broken and Noisy.
I liked the coffee bar.
The fact that there is a window that allows light from the bathroom into the bedroom. Very inconvenient when one person is sleeping and the other wants to shower, etc.
I recently stayed at the Source while I was taking the bar exam. Even though I ran into significant issues, Margot and her team helped me out at a time I really needed it! On top of that, the room was so fun and extra special because they upgraded me to a suite without asking. 5/5 for the Source. Thank you, team.
Amazing Hotel, Brie up front was super kind and helpful. Had a great stay.
The hotel is very cool—modern and industrial Bri at the front desk was lovely! She was so helpful, patient, and accommodating. She made the check-in process very pleasant which kicked off our weekend on the right foot!
My husband and I have stayed here four or five times since 2019. One of the main reasons we keep coming back is the convenient location and the variety of restaurants connected to the hotel, which makes it easy to grab dinner without having to drive anywhere after a long day. Unfortunately, during our most recent stay, we noticed a decline in the number of shops and restaurants compared to previous visits. We also had an issue with the air conditioning in our room and had to be moved. That said, the front desk associate and the maintenance technician were both outstanding. They were friendly, professional, and quick to resolve the issue, and we really appreciated their excellent customer service. Overall, we still enjoy staying here because of the location, but it feels like the property isn't receiving the same level of care and attention that made our previous visits so enjoyable. We hope to see it return to the high standard we remember.
Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.
Beautiful view
Front desk staff seems unorganized & slow. Restaurant managar was a little rude, slow to get service & undercooked food
Location was good and loved the rooftop balcony with pool. Convenient to several restaurants to walk to. Attached parking garage overnight parking.
More carpeting in room and a better chair to sit in.
Modern design, perfect for bicycle travelers due to concrete floors and huge elevators. Lots of places to hang out in the building and attached restaurants.
Neighborhood is still under development. Not much outside the hotel walls. Long walk to night life due to railroad tracks cutting off the neighborhood.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience! We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot say enough great things about this property. From the moment we arrived, Miss Alondra at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. She was professional, welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Her kindness and dedication truly made a lasting impression. The amenities were fabulous, the food was delicious, and the pool was beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was spectacular—clean, comfortable, and exceeded all of our expectations. Every aspect of our visit was outstanding, and the level of hospitality we received made us feel truly valued as guests. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. Thank you, Miss Alondra, for making our stay so memorable! M- united Airlines
Gorgeous property/room. Easy access from the parking garage. Numerous food/beverage options available in the building.
All good!
I needed a receipt for my business expense for a stay and I called the front desk and the attendant couldn't find my stay. I assured her I had stayed there and my card was charged and she said she couldn't help and hung up. I literally tried back 11 times and she kept picking up and then hanging up. On the 12 the time she picked up and I asked for the manager and she said he would be in at 3pm. I asked for his name and she hung up on me again. I tried back four more times and she wouldn't pick up. The hotel was boutique and the stay was good while I was there but the rudeness of her tone and actions today would prevent me from staying there again.
Clean, comfortable and walkable to DT, food a services offered great, beautiful roof top bar
Roof top staff on the Thursday evening we found to be unfriendly and felt we were inconveniencing them. Food however was well presented and delicious (when it finally came almost an hour and half later) even though there were only 6 of us looking at apps and they were not busy. Nice scene unpleasant serving experience .
During my stay I had the pleasure of meeting Jake, Carlton and Alondra. They were all super fun and helpful. The rooftop pool is cute and so is the restaurant. The bar service at the rooftop restaurant wasn’t great-the male bartenders were un-attentive and a bit snobby! Get some female energy behind the bar please! My room was clean annd stocked and the soaking tub was AMAZING!! All in all it was a nice relaxing stay and I will definitely be back!
Very nice restaurant and bar on the roof.
Everything
Good 👍 Good atmosphere nice environment
Hip and comfortable. Great food on-site plus proximity to fun area.
Location. On-site food. Space
TV was glitches, no internet, rooftop space wasn't open.
I don't like that the front desk tells you that you have a $15 credit, but you can't use it at the restaurants that are right in front of you in the hotel lobby: Smok BBQ, a taco place including breakfast tacos, and a coffee place.
The size of the room, the equipment, the swimming pool and the rooftop bar, the architecture and common spaces
Genel olarak beğendim
Mini bar kötü kokuyordu
The restaurants in the building.
Great place with amazing food options
Restaurant spaces and dining areas are attractive, overnight guest experience is another story
I had a confirmed reservation booked more than nine months in advance for ETH Denver. This would have been my fourth consecutive year staying at The Source Hotel during the conference. Upon arrival, front desk staff initially refused to honor the reservation and repeatedly stated it had been “cancelled,” despite the reservation still showing as confirmed in my Booking.com account that same morning. Staff also attempted to charge me a higher rate than the confirmed price. It took hours of my time during professional conference events simply to resolve the check-in issue and have the original reservation honored. After finally being checked in, the room had constant noise disturbances including loud racing-type sounds from the parking garage, persistent beeping outside the building, and mechanical noise that made it difficult to sleep. When I raised these concerns and requested a reasonable room change, the General Manager terminated my stay and required me to leave. The property assured me I would only be charged for the first night and issued a folio reflecting a $172.55 charge (room, parking, taxes, and fees). However, more than two weeks later the full $931.08 authorization from the hotel is still pending with my bank. My bank advised that the merchant must release or clear the authorization for the funds to be returned.
Staff was very pleasant and friendly and professional
Lots of form over function at this property. The shower head took lots of water to figure out, the light switches were very confusing, the coffee machine didn’t work. The bathroom had very little counter space. (With the coffee machine, maybe I did something wrong but I don’t think so.) Regardless, these are the basic things that should be more about comfort and less about hipness and style.
I liked the location, free parking, and the restaurant and businesses at the Source all connected to the hotel.
Heading to room, there was a horrible smell in the fifth floor hallway, which was pretty disorienting walking off the elevator. I asked a housekeeper at the end of my stay what that smell was because it lingered into the next day. I also emailed the hotel about it and no one ever provided me with a response which felt very off-putting.
From the very first day I booked to the day I checked out, the service was absolutely amazing! When I called to make my reservation, Tania was incredibly helpful and gave such great recommendations. I told her exactly what I was looking for, and she perfectly accommodated me with a beautiful suite. It was worth every penny! When we arrived, Yeimi checked us in and was so warm and welcoming. When we originally arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready since we arrived very early, which we completely understood. But within the hour, Yeimi personally called to let us know our room was ready, earlier than the standard check-in time! When we walked in, there was a special amenity waiting for us, welcoming us to the property and congratulating me on my job promotion (which I had casually mentioned at check-in). That thoughtful touch meant so much to me. The fact that she remembered made it even more special, it was absolutely worth the wait! At checkout, Tania assisted us again and made sure our $15 credit was applied to the room, which we really appreciated. The only thing I wish they offered was breakfast in the morning. It would be so convenient to have an option right on the property so you wouldn’t need to drive anywhere to start your day. That said, it definitely didn’t take away from our wonderful experience! I almost never leave reviews; usually, my husband does, but this experience truly made me excited to share. I will absolutely be recommending this place to everyone!
The best front desk hotel girl I’ve ever experienced she was so kind when I had a hard time getting somewhere
Spacious rooms, good restaurants/eateries on site. Has a well equipped gym. Very handy for RiNo and access to main highways. Plus not far from the centre.
Very stark and functional decor. There is no in-house breakfast, though there is a coffee bar and an excellent bakery - some days.
The shower was good and bed was pretty comfortable.
Felt pretentious and overpriced for what it actually was.
The hallway smelled like sewage, but the rooms were clean and OK
What an amazing place with restaurants, the market.
The view out the windows
Staff shared there was only one restaurant for dinner ( The ticket price of the one restaurant was exclusively expensive) which wasn’t even accurate and forced us to make reservations elsewhere. The hallways smelled like sewage. Most shops connected to the hotel were closed, and the coffee bar was closed the next morning. No restaurants in walking distance.
Cool space, great location for attending an event at Mission Ballroom.
Our floor was very dirty. Also destruction/construction going on nearby.....but that is a temporary issue.
Great staff! Super attentive, very friendly. Checked on us a few times. Helped us out with quite a few things we needed. Fantastic people all around. Decent selection of restaurants downstairs.
Unfortunately the structure itself just kind of sucks. Very thin walls; could hear enough details about a business trip in the room next to me that I could probably trade on it. Windows got super hot, to the point we needed the AC in December. Fridge was too full of for-purchase items to use it for leftovers. TV was irritating, since it couldn't cast and there was no structure to put a laptop on (we're not nightlife people). Some kind of clear window between the bathroom and the rest of the room, so a late night bathroom break meant illuminating the entire room (also could peep on someone in the shower...). Area was kind of weird. Downtown definitely isn't a walkable path away and RiNo was a bit of a struggle due to the rail line. Be prepared to Uber. Parking is $24 a day. Can't do anything about that, but it wasn't clear when I booked it.
Unique property, great views, and so many amazing food options in the food hall! Tania R. was super helpful at check-in and throughout my day. The staff and the property are wonderful and I would definitely return.
Love this spot! It's clean, great atmosphere, rooms have great views, and it's just a great location to get around Denver. I love the Rino district and it's still close enough to downtown without being loud or noisy. Plus, the restaurants located in this spot are amazing. You don't have to go anywhere for amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With everything from amazing baked goods to bbq to sushi. Highly recommend! You won't regret it.

Overall excellent hotel from the room to the food and customer service was on point.
Didnt have a microwave in the room
Very cute hotel! Nicole K. is the night attendant and was able to quickly help change rooms in the middle of the night. She was extremely kind and helpful which was exactly what I needed in that moment. I am so grateful.
It was close to downtown. The hotel roof top restaurant Cimera had great food, drinks, and a great view. There are many restaurants on the main floor also. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever experienced in all my travels. Next time I'm in Denver I'm staying at the source.
No complaints
wonderful location, quiet, well equipped and stylish rooms, easy access for parking or walking, service is beyond excellent. the restaurants in the hotel and next door are excellent- safta has been a favorite of ours for years. the lobby area is great for meeting up with friends or catching up on work.
Love this stay! Booked it as an end to a road trip and it was the perfect ending! Beautiful views and we got to tour a couple rooms to pick which one we wanted! Alondra at the front desk was so helpful- loved that we got to choose the one we’d love the most!
breakfast was incredible 6 stars!!!!
we loved the source hotel! no complaints
Location was great. We had concert tickets at Mission ballroom just down the road.
the elevator situation needs to be explained when checking in.
Beds were super comfortable!
Water temp in the shower fluctuated between hot and Antarctica. Once it got cold, it took forever to get warm again.
Great location and incredible food options
It was being renovated so it wasn’t fully operational. It was fine but will be even better when the new rooftop is open.
The location was relatively good for our specific purposes. The bed was comfortable and the staff very pleasant.
The design of the hotel and the rooms, given its "industrial" style, is a little "cold. The parking fee seemed excessive. The design of the room is a bit odd. First, while the room was spacious, it made the furnishings seem sparse. Second, the chairs were not particularly comfortable. Third, the design of the room is a bit odd. With a portion of the wall separating the bathroom from the main room being glass, use of the bathroom by one of the occupants inevitably disturbs the other sleeping guest. This design makes the room somewhat uncomfortable.
It was close to downtown and mission ballroom
The security door from parking garage into hotel wasn’t working with any keycards so we had to walk around the building at midnight to get in. Then, our room had bugs on the bed when we turned down the sheets. They moved us to a downgraded room which had broken blinds with duct tape on the edges. The staff was polite but didn’t seem surprised or apologetic about the bugs or the downgraded room. When we checked out the security door to the parking garage was propped open. As a mom with a teen daughter, I wouldn’t recommend as that’s a safety concern.
Rooms were clean but the roof and pool were closed. That’s why we decided on that place and weren’t informed until we had already checked in
Great place to stay if you are going to see a show at the mission ballroom. Walking distance being 0.9 miles. Didn’t have to pay for parking, it was included with the Expedia booking. Also, got a free bottle of wine and complementary waters! They have a mini bar with the prices listed. Only downside was there was no microwave. Also, had to remove the mini bar stuff to use the fridge.
Tania made the check out experience smooth! Very exceptional customer service . Out stay was perfect. Quiet and tidy rooms. Safta restaurant has great ambience and food
Some of the people were rude
Friendly staff, especially the coffee dude. I liked the concrete vibes of the room, but some may not
Restaurants on site close too early, and nothing is within walking distance. Also was quite pricey for what it was
Reception staff were AWESOME!
Room was great and clean! The restaurants are all amazing. Easy to walk to so many spots. Would stay here again 100%
Cool vibe, excellent nearby restaurants, great location for Mission Ballroom concerts. Suite was huge, we really enjoyed soaking in the large tub, shower water pressure was great, the garage door window near the bed was fun for enjoying the city sights and getting some fresh air. Staff was kind and courteous.
Just wish we didn't have to leave so early! Not at all the hotel's fault, just needed to be back home to keep an appointment. There was some city noise but just to be expected given the location.
I enjoyed my stay at The Source. I arrived early in the morning, I was able to drop my bags off with the front desk. I found the area to be walkable. There is a nice art park nearby, I had breakfast at a Cafe. The type of room I paid for was not available I was told upon check in. I paid for a Market view suite, all I saw was a room top, vents and a storage facility. No garage door. I had to keep the blinds shut the entire time I was there, which kind of was terrible because there was not great lighting in the room. If I needed to see I'd have t crack them open then close them again. Despite that my room was still amazing, comfortable, cleaned daily. I slept well. The large soaker tub was amazing, the shower was outstanding. I can't say enough about the towels. The market hall was a great amenity. I would consider staying here again I'm just not certain I'd pay for an upgraded suite again as a result of this experience. I was never offered the free welcome beer, although the person next to me was.
The staff were pleasant and we had a good view of the mountains.
I sent a message through to the hotel prior to our stay but they did not respond until booking.com intervened. There was no hot water in the shower. We told the front office staff and were advised that they had been having problems, however they could not offer another room. We have been promised a refund but have yet to receive confirmation of this.
Firstly a 4pm check in shouldn't be a thing. Around 3pm we couldn't check in to change for a wedding, we directed to leave our bags by the front door which didn't seem secure, the coffee shop and restaurant weren't open around that time on a Saturday and the rooftop was under construction. Therefore, none of the amenities we could have used or wanted were available. Also none of the electrical sockets in the in lobby work. So overall it was an inconvenient stay for people traveling international for a wedding.
We paid $360 room fee, they still charge me $41 parking fee. The room is dirty. The vent machine which is outside is very noisy and I can not sleep.
Unfortunately the hot water wasn't working properly, but they did issue a refund. Stand-up management and staff.
Was under partial construction, but that did not impede service or comfort.
Excellent hotel!
I have stayed here multiple times while attending concerts at nearby Mission Street Ballroom. This was by far the worst. I booked this through Expedia as a VIP member and we were assigned easily the worst view in the entire hotel—3rd floor facing east, looking directly at the roof over the restaurants below, with nothing but the massive air handlers, AC units, and power distribution panels outside our window to look at. Just beyond, the third level of the parking garage, where public parking patrons look directly into our room. The massive blind we used to hide this view was off its tracks, making it difficult to lower and virtually impossible to raise without great effort and teamwork by my wife and I the next morning. At 5am there was no hot water to shower with. We were able to get it later that morning, but our friends, staying in a different room, had none even at checkout time. The internet signal in our room was one bar. Same with their WiFi, which was virtually unuseable it was so slow. The rooms here have a minimalist style with a concrete ceiling and floor and simple wood panels for decoration. The only chairs are plastic cheap chairs you might find in a school cafeteria. Th pillows are thin and flimsy, “down to their last four or five feathers”. There is no drawer space or enclosed closet space. The single sink bathroom has no real vanity to organize toiletries, just a single thin shelf. So make sure you understand what you are paying for by staying here.
The suite was amazing and the views were stunning. Loved how the door opened in the room to the outside!
