Drury Inn & Suites Iowa City Coralville

Great location, the facility is new, in fashion. They even provide free dinner and drinks! I love the breakfast too. Best hotel experience ever!

The breakfast was great and the room was spacious

The parking lot was a bit on the tighter side

The staff was so friendly. Always smiling and cordial.

Very minor: Need flavors for my morning coffee. I lived through it. 🤓

We have stayed multiple times at the Drury and always have a pleasant experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size and kept very clean and comfortable.

The breakfasts are second to none! Would have liked a bigger surrounding yard!

It was all good from start to finish!

Staff, a job well done.

All good.

Breakfast fine. Location good.

First room had not been cleaned and bed had hair. Gum drops were found on the carpet. We were transferred to another room clean but carpet was wet. Not just a little bit but wet!

The property was clean and staff very friendly. Happy hour food and Breakfast was fantastic.

Both the evening dinner and morning breakfast were delicious!

Locatie, vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van personeel, ruime kamers

Avondeten was gratis, dat was een verrassing, maar kwaliteit was redelijk.

Great location, excellent breakfast. Very happy with our experience.

Friendly service, great room, we were able to have a great dinner

Nothing bad to say

Fabulous place to stay- Coralville, Iowa- Drury hotel

Very friendly, clean rooms, great food, and drinks great atmosphere

Location. Food was all good..

Pool was absolutely packed. Elevators were a pain.

Clean friendly and helpful staff

We made reservation paid- then was told there where NO rooms. We slept in our car before my husbands big surgery. We heard that thats a common occurrence & it's unacceptable!!!

The cleanliness of the rooms, the complimentary breakfast every morning. The 5:30 PM complimentary drinks were very nice. The meal at 5:30 PM was very nice the first night we were there, very impressed with the selections offered. Location was perfect since son lived less than 10 minutes away so it was perfect to just jump onto First Avenue to get to his house, easy drive.

We were only able to do the 5:30 PM kick back complimentary dinner twice. We were there from July 4th to Wednesday, July 8th, Thought it was odd that the 5:30 PM meal was the same again from Saturday and then on Monday. Do they not vary the menu at all? ********************************************************************************************************************************** Staff at Front Desk on evening of July 4th: The gentelman working the front desk, he was tall, I think had glasses, maybe in his 40s. He was RUDE and very CONDESCENDING towards my daughter and I! My husband had called front desk that evening around 10:00 PM to ask for bedding for the pull out couch. Unfortunately there was none in room 400. Whoever my husband spoke to had asked him if he checked the closests and we had. So he told him they would send some up. We waited about a good 20 minutes and still nothing. The phone DID ring and we answered it but no one on the other end responded so we assumed it was a mistake in the call. So my daughter and I decided to just walk downstairs to the front desk and ask again for the bedding. When we walked down there the lobby was pretty busy because of customers returning from the Savannah Banana baseball event that took place at Kinnick Stadium and it looked like other people from a wedding were returning. There was a lot going on. The front desk guy was just finishing up waiting on a customer who wanted something that had that staff personel walk all the way back to where the food is served to retrieve something. By the time the staff person got back you could easily tell he was stressed and frazzled. We simply asked him about our bedding and he got very short with us and said I called your room twice and no one picked up! The sheets were dropped off at your room!" We told him you only called us ONCE and he got all defensive. He was just so RUDE and CONDESCENDING!

We stay here whenever our son has appointments at the College of Dentistry or Children's hospital. The indoor/outdoor pool is great during any season, the workout facility is small but often not utilized so typically always available. The breakfast and evening food/drinks is one of our favorite parts. It brings us back to the hotel at a reasonable time so we prioritize relaxing and sitting as a family before we head out to our next appointment or head home. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location!

The shower faucet pressure was the only thing that I could not grade totally satisfactory.

Clean, accommodating staff and a great location.

Loved the breakfast, dinner and drinks in the hotel so in the heat wave you didn't have to leave the hotel to deal with the humidity. The pool and spa were great and always very clean The staff were all exceptional in their customer service approach to guests - they made it a most memorable stay

The $50.00 pet/night fee is way overpriced. I think they need to lower that price since we only had them clean the room once except for clean towels and emptying the garbage daily during our 4-day stay. Please fix the electric outlets in the underground garage as I have a plug in hybrid and I only got electricity to recharge my car sporadically.

We loved the meals.

They didn't have French dressing

Great location with many places to visit nearby. Friendly staff, quiet room, very tasty meals served in 1st floor dining area. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast had a ton of options. Everything was clean and well attended to.

Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable as most sofa beds are. Not sure if they had a mattress topper for it. Forgot to ask.

The complimentary dinner was well worth the stay! All the staff was super friendly anytime we ran into them!

The food was fantastic and the staff were wonderful!

Nothing!

Very comfortable and good service. Also manager Adam was very kind. and make feel comfortable. Thank you

It was quiet, great location and clean.

They take too long to change the bedding, but that is their sysyem.

The reasonable price for a room was amazing for what you all got. They have free appetizers and free drinks(up to 3) in the evening from 5:30-7:00pm! The “appetizers” were basically a free meal! Then, of course, a free morning breakfast which was very adequate. Location was awesome and easy to get to right off the interstate. Free parking is always a bonus

Everything was great. But if I would have to say one thing it would be that the mattresses could have been updated. Pillows and sheets very comfortable though.

I like this motel. I have stayed there several times before. Location is good.

The property was very well maintained upscale and quality, solid building structure with upscale design and amenities

Nothing

Spotless and the customer service was second to none.

Nothing

Pleased with the use of real plates and flatware instead of plastic and paper. Also the fact that there were no foam cups. Staff encountered was friendly. Parking was adequate. The coffee was good and there were plenty of choices Of different types of food. The bed was comfortable the pillows were not too fat and the room was quiet. The elevator was fast.

I'm not sure you could have done much better. The Breakfast was better than most places but there would still be room for improvement there. I don't get too excited over powdered eggs and prepackaged food items That seems to be the reality these days. The Wi-Fi was not the best connection.

Great stay. We needed an overnight stop while traveling across Iowa and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The staff was beyond nice and it was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We arrived too late for the evening reception (shoot) but could walk to several restaurants and fast food in the area. Breakfast was a step above your typical hotel breakfast.

Excellent experience. The location of the property was great - we were able to hop on and off the interstate quickly and there were several good restaurant options nearby. The staff was helpful and pleasant, and the room was spacious and well maintained. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding - there was a wide variety of food options that could meet any dietary needs/desires (from eggs to oatmeal to waffles).

great location, food, and price. very friendly staff. Bartender, Cole, was fantastic. they brough out hot food all the time. fantastic place to stay.

We needed to quickly make reservations for multiple rooms and early arrival because our family had experienced the death of a parent. The Management could not have been more quick to respond to our situation and make our nearly weeklong stay as comfortable as possible. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was lovely every morning. I could not give a more grandiose review of this property.

Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Kindness of staff. Discounted rate for being in the area for cancer care. Good breakfast options. Clean room.

Pillows.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at the Drury Inn & Suites. On a recommendation from a friend, we booked several days at the Drury Inn in Coralville, IA. This is our first stay at the Drury Inn and, in the future, we will always look for one of their hotels when we travel. The hotel is very clean and has a nice, modern feel to it. The lobby is spacious and has a variety of comfortable seating areas. The breakfast had the usual selections, with “real” oatmeal and great coffee. One thing of note is regular dishes and silverware, which you never see at most hotel breakfast buffets. Our room was spacious with plenty of drawer and closet space. I always prefer a shower only, which our room had. We opted for a “refresh” service, with new towels everyday and our trash emptied daily. The beds were very comfy. The hotel has great sound proofing, as we were close to the highway, but our room was very quiet. Also, we loved the climate control in the room. There was no “noisy” a/c to cycle on and off. We just set the thermostat and had comfortable room temperatures our entire stay. They have a nice evening option with food & drinks. Although it was nice to know this food option was available, we had other evening plans and did not partake, This hotel is close to shopping and many restaurants. It is also a great location if you have any activities at the University of Iowa. I usually do not give 5 star reviews to this level hotel, but this facility definitely deserves our rating. I hope to see Drury expand their hotels throughout the US.

It’s convenient location

Absolutely love Drury Inn at Coralville!! Free breakfast and dinner/cocktails. Amazing staff. Quality and comfort with a smile, and definitely the best value for your dollar, for families, couples, and business people!

Excellent location off I-80 with Perkins next door and gas station across street, Traders Joe super close. Very clean room, quality marble in bathroom and comfortable bed. When I checked in I did not have bathtub in room, thus the front desk was very efficient at giving me another room as I had a special request for bathtub. Breakfast is outstanding, hot and cold options, all free. I arrived late in evening and missed the free light dinner option offered by Drury. I love this hotel and will use it again in future.

I was there for a hospital stay for my son so I missed some of the amenities that they give like supper and breakfast. But it was okay, the bed was worth it to sleep in..

Clean, comfortable, friendly attentive staff. The kick back meal was very good as well as the breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

No complaints

Great access from the freeway

Everything mostly...

They need skim milk options during breakfast. Not just 2 % milk ...

Breakfast was good and the fajitas were great

Conveniently located near the University of Iowa.

Breakfast was meh

Nice room, the staff was great. Good breakfast and coffee was good!

Customer service at the Drury Inn - Coralville is AMAZING! Great staff. Super friendly. Helped us out with a couple of changes in less than two minutes without any issues at all. Joel was super helpful and friendly!

This hotel is neat and clean. The surrounding grounds are beautifully maintained. Each one of the staff members we spoke with were so pleasant and helpful, as has been the case at every Drury where I have stayed (many). The hotel is very easily accessed from the highway, yet it’s far enough away that there is no highway noise. There are several businesses nearby, and the area seems very safe. Unfortunately, we did not arrive in time for the complimentary “Kick Back” meal/drinks, but we walked to the Perkins restaurant just next door and had a nice meal. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Friendly, clean. Good value.

No complaints.

Nice rooms. Good free supper and breakfast.

Spacious clean room. Spacious dining area.

Location was great for what we needed. The room was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet (especially for as full as it was). The employees were very friendly.
