It's not the fault of the host, but the bells from the church rings every 15 minutes from 6am to 10pm.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Sehr ruhige Lage mit einem öffentlichen Parkplatz fast direkt gegenüber. Trotz der sommerlichen Temperaturen war es im Zimmer angenehm kühl. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und auf dem Flur steht sogar ein kleiner Gemeinschaftskühlschrank zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft eignet sich zudem hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.
Das Badezimmer ist recht klein. Der Duschvorhang ist dort ziemlich unpraktisch und störend, zudem fehlt eine gute Ablagemöglichkeit in der Dusche. Außerdem war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche sehr schwach, sodass kaum Wasser kam.

The surroundings are beautiful, with stunning mountain views. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and especially appreciated having a balcony to relax on. The family who runs the guesthouse, especially the father, daughter, and son, were very helpful and answered all our questions about the area. Thanks to their recommendations, we were able to visit some beautiful places nearby. There is a spacious outdoor parking area just across from the house, with enough room even for a small camper van. The surroundings are peaceful and full of farms. Hallstatt is about a 45-minute drive away, and several other tourist attractions are also within easy reach. The house was well organized, and taking off our shoes in certain areas made it feel very homely. Staying in such a beautiful traditional house was a lovely experience. It offers excellent value for money, and we would gladly stay here again. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The Wi-Fi connection was not very reliable. The shower enclosure was quite narrow, and the showerhead was positioned too low. The sink was also very small, which made washing my face and filling larger bottles difficult. The room ventilation did not seem to work, so we had to open the windows for fresh air.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Die Pension ist ideal für die Durchreise, aber auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Das Auto kann man direkt gegenüber parken. Es gibt sogar einen extra Parkplatz für Motorräder. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es werden sogar kleine Dinge, wie Duschgel bereit gestellt. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber gemütlich. Es ist alles blitzsauber. Hervorzuheben sind die beiden Gastgeber. Sie sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es war wirklich alles in Ordnung.

Das kurze Doppelbett hat mir nicht gefallen, meine Beine ragten ständig heraus. Der Wasserdruck im Badezimmer ist extrem niedrig, und außerdem: Bitte sparen Sie Strom und Wasser! 🙄 Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben der Kirche, sodass man morgens mehrmals von den Glocken geweckt wird.
