The Beach at Klong Muang

Friendly staff

Beds in Thailand are generally hard but this was like lying on the floor. Door to balcony didn't fully shut so bugs could come in.

Izba má balkón a dve umývadlá.

Super friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. The location is very good — a beautiful beach is within walking distance, and shops are nearby. The hotel is very clean, with a lovely small pool. The room was spacious with a nice little balcony. The bed was comfortable.

You could hear the neighbours talking through the wall quite clearly. :)

Klidný hotel v blízkosti pláže, obchodů, restaurací a pouličních občerstvení i bister. Velmi ochotný a milý personál.

:) A szoba teljesen megfelelt a foglaláskor látott képeknek, sőt! Motorbérlés is lehetséges, partnerük a szomszédos Jira Motorbike, szuper kedvesek, mosolygósak, ajánlom őket is!

Staff and location

WC was broken. But they repaired it.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was lovely, and the room was clean and well maintained.

The bed was firm, but I had a good night’s sleep.

Not family friendly, not feeling like 5 star hotel, in their web page they show a beach of a restaurant near by which you would think it’s part of the hotel but it’s not. They do give 8~ complimentary beds on the beach which are always full ant look very bad. Would not recommend the hotel.

Excellent room and friendly, smiley staff. The price is brilliant for the location and very short walk to the beach. Everything was clean. Modern room, spacious with fridge, kettle and we had a nice balcony. There is a mosque directly opposite so we heard the call to prayer fairly loudly - I personally found this grounding and peaceful. Overall, would recommend!

The only issue was the shower, which flooded the bathroom whenever we used it. Maybe the drain was blocked or not draining properly. Nothing major.

Very well located, nice and quiet, but within easy walking distance from beach and places to eat i.e. The Best. The staff were so friendly and the hotel accommodation was spacious and very clean. Great place to stay for proximity to airport for a few days to explore Khlong Muang and Tubkaek beach. Will definitely rebook if we return to Krabi.

N/A

Very close to the beach. Super clean. Nice bathroom. Daily maid service. Excellent ac. Daily water. The mattress was rock hard and the pillow made my neck hurt..but I hate to say because I actually liked staying here a lot. I got used to the bed.

Toilets were blocked and bathroom looked old but the room was nice otherwise. Noisy but manageable (fin walls and surroundings). Staff very nice and helpful! Great location close to the beach and stores - Easy for pick up locations (for tours, airport etc.)

The clean and staff very friendly, in a quite location

Lovely place

Clean and close to the Beach and convenient to the restaurant shop and Café

Swimming pool is too small

All good specially the location

Location near the beach. The staff was nice; however, they need some improvement in English language.

The quality of building is very bad. The walls and floor plates are very thin - so you can hear every noise. The quality of windows is realy "cheap". You turn of the air condition and in 2 minutes the room is hot again. The installation quality of tiles, doors, equipment is terrible. The air condition is just above the bed, so the cold air is blowing directly on you, while you're sleaping. And the worst thing it was, that there was terrible smell from sewege in the bathroom. I wouldn't say nothing if we would pay 20, 30€ for the room, however for the amounth of money that we paid I would expect much much more.

Good quiet location near the beach. Some of the receptionists didn't speak English but we used Google translate without problems. Staff were very nice and attentive. Packed breakfast every morning that they kindly made vegetarian for me (vegetables, bread, rice, fruit, juice, water). Nice pool, suitable for kids. Nice balcony, but we could not completely close the balcony door so some insects came into the room. Liked the friendly cats hanging out near the hotel. :)

Room is ok for sleeping but not cosy. Blue/cold light. Other guests' doors opening and closing in the hallway could be heard loudly from the room.

25 mins away from ao nang beach, nice , advertises a pool but the pictures are better than it is in person it’s very small

Large bed with small balcony.

Avoid - Avoid - Avoid If you are travelling to Klong Muang I would suggest you avoid The Beach Hotel. Upon arrival, we noticed 3 lizards in the reception area and caterpillars roaming around on the floor. They were freely going in and out of the reception area as the main door had no seal between the door frame and the door itself. We booked this hotel through booking.com and received a confirmation of a staggering 4320 Baht which I believe is very overpriced for this particular hotel. The receptionist tried to add a 3% charge to the booking.com confirmed price as we opted to pay by card. As for the room, there was no safe and no kettle as the room info stated when booking online. To add to our woes, we found hairs on the bed, dust on the shelves resulting in dusty marks on clothes. The toilet seat was extremely loose and we could not shower due to a broken shower knob. The toilet and shower were both temporarily fixed after we mentioned it to the receptionist who was polite and understanding. After finally getting the shower fixed we were further disappointed to find out there was no hot water. All in all, our stay was extremely disappointing as we spent most of the evening in the room trying to fix the problems we encountered and waiting for staff. I would suggest you avoid this hotel if you can!

Not too busy and decent location. Very Helpful and efficient front desk staff especially "Wawa or Rawa" and Riz as well as other staff at front desk and housekeeping that I do not know their names. The room is,good size , clean and modern as well as a decent size balcony and comfortable chairs. There are also number of good restaurants within walking distance. Klong Muang beach is very suitable and comfortable for swimming, with sunset in full view. The Beach is just a few minutes walk away. Weather is much more pleasant than Phuket which is quite close to Krabi.

The picture of the pool is highly misleading, a lot smaller than it appears...

The hotel was very near the beach. There are some few shops around, but it’s so quiet area and quite local which we loved. The role was clean and spacious with everything you need. Host was very nice and helpful.

Quiet place, not to crowded in high season near the beach.

Even though you dont see it, there is a lot of mold in the room. It stinks, even after 3 days of airconditioning on dry mode, the smell stayed. My girlfriend had difficulties breathing.

everything...exept

TV

good location and modern rooms

pool not great, right by the car park.

Peaceful and quiet location not far away from beach. You can rent a scooter directly there. Really amazing breakfast.

Little far from noisy tourist-perfect Quite clean and great value .. Great wifi

The channel list on tv is poor

Very clean and friendly staff and good breakfast and near to beautiful beach

Not much I can think of

nothing

no

It's clean, close to a beautiful beach and has very friendly staff.

Tough beds and a mosque in front of the hotel, so a free wake-up 'call' at 5.30 every day is guaranteed.

short walk to the beach , restaurants and shops! was so clean and comfortable and very accommodating, letting us leave our bags in reception for a few hours after our checkout!

the water cut out for about 20 minutes when we were trying to shower, but it was resolved very quickly! air con in our room was a little bit temperamental but overall it was fine :)

Super friendly service, location is walking distance from the beach. Room was clean and big. Wifi working very well.

Payment wasn’t authorised via Booking as stated and had to pay extra 3% of charge when paying at property by card

cleanliness and location

This amazing hotel was such a find and such a great price. The twin room was really spacious, and had loads and loads of storage as well as a fridge. I travelled in Dec 2022 with my 8 year old daughter. The pool was unused apart from us for the whole time we were there. Just like the rest of the place, it was really clean. There is a shallow pool for little ones. The management respectfully ask that you don't drink alcohol on the premises. This wasn't a problems for me at all.

all as described. good clean rooms.

nothing to complain:-)

We stayed at The Beach for 5 nights , and wish we had longer . The room was spacious , cleaned to a high standard every day , and had a great view from the balcony . The staff were pleasant and very helpful, making us feel very welcome, assisting my fiancé to make a lovely Valentines surprise for me , and there was a nice little cafe outside the entrance . The bed was very comfortable , air con effective and quiet . All for a very reasonable price . The location was amazing, about 5 minutes walk from the loveliest beach , with plenty of cafes and restaurants, great views and glorious sunsets . Motorcycle hire for around 250B a day , and a very good laundry service were available. Klong Muang is a beautiful area , the resort wasn’t crowded , and didn’t feel built up . I really hope we can come here again , and stay longer , thanks .

Excellent hotel run by wonderful people. We stayed at this hotel for over 2 weeks and loved it. Spacious clean rooms and excellent service. Very close to the beach. Lovely peaceful area in Krabi. Most helpful and kind owners. Me and my family highly recommend this hotel. Special thanks to Zainab who made us feel so at home. Hope to see you again :)

I stayed here for 12 nights in February. The room was just as in the photographs, great facilities, very clean and comfortable. I was on the 5th floor at the rear of the building. I bought coffee and milk from the local supermarket and each morning spent well over an hour having breakfast on the balcony in the beautiful sunshine and enjoying the view; a fantastic start to the day. The hotel is about 300 metres from the beach and around the same from a selection of very good restaurants. The family who own the hotel where very friendly and helpful, any requests where handled immediately. I used the laundry which was great value and hired a scooter from the hotel for a few days which I would recommend. The wifi was very reliable. From Krabi airport you can either get the mini-bus drop off for 200Bht or a taxi which should be around 800. Just one tip - the hotel does charge for card payments so best to pay cash if you can.

Have been staying here st the lovely family run hotel excellent service good rooms the staff can’t do enough for you .they happy to sort out trips and taxis nothing is too much trouble big plus they supply beach towels Only a short stroll to one of the best beaches in Krabi. Will definitely stay here again

Lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room about 5-10 min walk to the beach. Has a local mini mart across the road and a place to have breakfast. Only improvement would be a more secluded pool but then you are that close to the beach and the sea pool was barely used.

My partner and I recently stayed at The Beach@KhlongMuang hotel apartments. We saw it being built over the last 12 months and it is only very recently opened. This is situated in a perfect location in the quiet seaside resort Khlong Muang, around 300 metres 3 minutes walk from an amazing beach with soft powder white sands and clear warm water safe for swimming. It is about 40 minutes from Krabi airport, and 15 minutes from Ao Nang. The hotel manager Zainab and her father and extended family all work together to run a very friendly and immaculately clean and welcoming hotel. It has about 30 rooms over 5 floors, with an efficient lift. The hotel is directly opposite Khlong Muang masjid mosque, and also the local store called Mother Marche which is open until midnight. There are plenty of restaurants and local shops within walking distance, and a small market. The rooms are modern, spacious and welcoming. Decorated in white washed walls, with a large comfortable bed and bedding, bedside tables, a mirrored dresser with hairdryer and stool, and plenty of cupboard and storage space. There is a new flatscreen TV. An efficient air conditioning system is installed in the perfect position. The bathroom is fitted with new modern toilet with slow closing lid, sink basin and mirror, and a walk in shower. Toiletries are provided. There is a kettle with teas and coffees, and 2 waters provided daily. There is a refrigerator, which has a small ice box section. Towels are changed daily, and separate beach towels are also provided. The rooms have a balcony with views over the surrounding countryside and village, with a coffee table and chairs. There is a small gym, and a small dipping pool with a few chaise longe sun loungers and a shower at the front of the hotel. There is a streetside restaurant at the front of the hotel. Zainab is a very friendly and helpful lady with perfect English speaking, and she will help with all enquiries or requirements. We can recommend this hotel to anyone, and will be staying again in the future. Thank You again to Zainab and her Father for welcoming us.

This place is awesome!!! Brand new hotel, super clean and modern, reasonable price. The lady at the front desk takes good care of everything, she rocks! Nice little swimming pool and 5 minutes walking from a fairly nice beach. Restaurants , supermarket and atm nearby. Right across the street from a quiet Mosque (seriously). Would recommend this place . Less tourists and more fun here!! They also plan to build a coffee shop on the roof top. This place is going to be very popular within a few months. Perfect stay!!!
