Preiswerte gute Unterkunft. Es sind tatsächlich nur 15 Minuten zufuß zum CERN-Gelände, aber 45 Gehminuten zum Eingang CERN. Ist ok, sollte man aber wissen.

Really clean Room. Good for one night since we gat really late at Geneva, the area is like small buildings offices but really quiet. Possibly go to a nearby Mall by walking distance and a Nearby bus stop. 10 min from Geneva Airport.

Excellent facility with beautiful view from the room. Difficult to reach via public transportation.

Clean and very welcome. I liked the room design, the air conditioner worked great. Cons: pillows were very flat.

Safe property with easy parking, not very old and clean. Room was very small with no chair but otherwise had everything needed for a quick overnight stop. An Ibis restaurant was very nearby. Bus load of tour group arrived.

Le personnel est très agréable. À notre arrivée , il y avait un soucis avec notre réservation. La jeune fille de l’accueil du soir a su répondre à toutes nos attentes, très à l’écoute. Le lendemain au petit dej nous avons eu un monsieur très gentil aussi . Franchement séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel. Et surtout pas du tout bruyant. Merci à vous .

Für ein Ibis Budget Hotel sehr gut, bis auf dass es im Zimmer ohne Dauerlüften nicht auszuhalten war wegen Geruch. Lüftungsanlage ging auch nicht wirklich

This hotel is right next to Cern and the famous Super Collider in Switzerland. Easy commute on the 18 Tram to Geneva. Quiet location and reasonable.

Hôtel récent avec tout le confort nécessaire pour un tarif abordable. Mention très bien pour le rapport qualité prix du petit déj et la recharge gratuite pour un véhicule électrique. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique pour conclure

Ibis is always clean and comfortable and a great value. It was nice to have free parking and good access to the Geneva airport. Breakfast is a good value and there are no better croissants I’ve found even at high-end French bakeries.

Everything was ok, except that the two beds room is very small, there is no room to open a luggage, no room for cloths, just two beds and the room is full, no fridge. The door is not soundproofed, so you can hear everything from the corridor, however it was not so bad. The bathroom is clean, but the mirror is not suitable for applying make-up, as there is only mood lighting. The bus stop is 5 minutes walk. Cern is 5 minites walk and 5 minutes bus ride. However it is 1 hour from Genf.

A great overnight stopover. Comfy and very helpful staff. Excellent staff accommodation. The management should sort out the google maps direction from expedia website as it led you to nearby ibis hotel, which is very frustrating if you come for a long drive and will be turn away as you are in wrong location!! I was disappointed with the no kettle in the room but you can use the restaurant kettle which the staff helped us with.

The room was quiet and clean. It would be ideal to have the gravel pathway from the hotel to the street surfaced for ease of carrying luggage to the bus stop.

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel from 9 pm to 12 am on 31st of May, 2024. The hotel had to send us to other hotel nearby, because the room we were in is bedbugs infested!! By the time we have been transferred, both of us were bit by bedbugs on multiple sites. It was a horrible experience and no one should be treated like this!! The hotel knew they have bedbugs problem, but still rented the room to us!! I am attaching some photos, it is disgusting!!!

Ibis Budget Saint Genis Pouilly Geneva Review I recently stayed at Ibis Budget Saint Genis Pouilly Geneva and found it to be an excellent value for money. The triple rooms were adequately sized, but the double rooms felt too cramped for comfort. Breakfast options were limited, offering low variety. Additionally, the cafeteria tended to get crowded during evening and night hours, which made it a bit inconvenient. On the positive side, the hotel offers stunning views of the Alps, which was a definite highlight of the stay. Another plus point was the presence of EV chargers, a great convenience for electric vehicle owners. However, I was disappointed that the bikes provided by the hotel were out of service during rainy conditions, which limited outdoor exploration. Overall, while the hotel offers some fantastic features like the Alps view and EV chargers, improvements in room sizes and breakfast variety would make the stay even better.

It was a very good experience.It is in the border of Switz. nd infact into the border of France.Little far from Geneva.But, small, beautiful & value for price.It has a morning quick breakfast option.Then it has quick bite options.Located in a serene place nd if you are lucky , u ll get a lot if Sun for sure.Nearby it, there is a small village where u can have good dining option..This hotel kind of grew on me as I stayed in it more.

As a British person I consider this to be some form of torture to have to go without proper tea for an extended period! * Potentially confusing name given there is another Ibis a stone’s throw away * Pedestrian access is not obvious, especially at night and is possibly dangerous. Access is through an unlit field/path which you cannot see in the dark - you will need a torch if arriving as a pedestrian in the dark * Outright lies about distance of the hotel to CERN - Expedia had this listed as a ‘15 minute walk’ and I can only assume this was based walking at the speed of Usain Bolt

Good value option for visit CERN I brought my 16 year old son for his birthday on a trip to visit CERN. My son is an avid physicist and mathematician and his dream is to work at CERN one day. We booked through Expedia. We booked because we believed it was an easy walk from the hotel to CERN, but wanted to write this review to clarify for any future travellers that this is not the case at all. CERN itself is best thought of as being similar to a university campus, insomuch as it is compiled of many various buildings spread out across Geneva on both the French and Swiss sides. It may be reasonably said that you could walk for 15 minutes and be in the general vicinity of CERN property but you are certainly not at the entrance of CERN. Rather, CERN is best accessed by taking the number 68 bus from outside the Carrefour supermarket. This is also how you would access the hotel to and from the airport - however for the airport you need bus 66. If you choose to walk to CERN from the hotel, I would estimate a time or more like 60-80 minutes and I’m not sure how pedestrian friendly the route would be given than it is along a main road. When at CERN you will be delighted by the visitors centre and the friendly staff. There was some confusion on my part regarding airport transfers and the name of the hotel. This is the Ibis Saint Genius Pouilly Budget, there is also an Ibis Saint Genis Pouilly. I had not realised this and when booking it is not made clear to you either. The non-budget hotel offers a free hotel shuttle service. When I was researching how to get to the hotel from the airport, I saw a page about free hotel transfers and saw the hotel ‘Ibis Saint Genis Pouilly’ on the list, so assumed our hotel would benefit from the transfer. However when we tried to access the shuttle bus at the airport, it caused confusion as my booking could not be found. Initially I was concerned that my hotel was no longer booked, until we worked out that there were two different hotels. Anyway, getting to the airport is not too challenging as you simply need to get bus 66, and prices are reasonable (less than 5 Euros per person) It takes approx 35 minutes and drops you to the bus stop outside the Carrefour. This is then a 10 minute walk to the Budget Ibis. However- we arrived in the dark. The route to the hotel is not at all obvious as the proper route is essentially through a field, for which there is precisely zero lighting. You will need torches/phone lights to navigate through this area, which I frankly feel is dangerous and negligent. Because I wasn’t sure where to walk, as there were no signs and nothing had been communicated to us about how to access the hotel, we ended up walking about 40 minutes from the bus stop with our luggage, in the dark, through residential and industrial areas trying to find the hotel. When in fact it is a simple 10 minute walk, had there been signs and lighting then it would have saved a lot of effort which is why I write all of this now to hopefully help future clients of this resort. In summary this hotel is perfectly acceptable as a play to stay when visiting CERN, providing you understand how to actually get there. I do feel that the hotel should immediately invest in signs and lighting for the pathway for guests who arrive or leave in the dark. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel very clean and the food tasty.

Very clean. Bed ok for one night but quite hard and flimsy. Very cramped with 4 of us squashed in a small room with 2 pull down beds. Basic amenities - paper cups for water. Thin small towels provided for shower (no hand towels). Glad we only had 1 night. Quite a lot of money for how badic it is, compared to other places we have stayed on the same trip.

Located 1 hiur from Geneva. There is bus and train into Geneva property is clean everything works. Nice vending machine and food store near by. Excellent brew pub is a 10 minte walk. Cabs very expensive to and from Geneva.

This hotel is fairly new, is clean, has breakfast option and is close to CERN with frequent bus service to a stop about 4 blocks away. To get to Geneva, switch from bus to local train. Extremely convenient and relatively quick. The rooms, while nice are small. The photos do no clearly convey how small the rooms are. We booked a room for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). We had a queen bed with two beds that dropped out of a cabinet (aka Murphy bed). All the beds occupy almost all of the floor space - there are no cabinets, only a couple of shallow shelves and a flat screen tv. This makes handling and storing luggage a minor issue (they fit when slid under the beds). The bathroom has room for only 1 person and a clean comfortable shower. The breakfast option was a bit pricey for what you get. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bread, coffee, tea, juice. There is convenient bakery about a block away from the bus stop in town that is very good. If you're looking for somewhere clean to sleep and don't plan on spend much time in your room, this place is great due to the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful with all our requests. Staff is present at the front desk all day and night. We actually stayed at this place twice during our trip - once on way in and again before leaving. The second room was the handicapped version which was *much* bigger to accommodate a wheelchair. It was nice upgrade with chairs, a pull out sofa and some breathing space.

This is the best Ibis hotel I have stayed at because it presented itself more as a first class hotel than a budget one: large, spacious room, beautifully designed with a great modern touch, lovely, spacious bathroom with a great shower, fast internet, great AC, great view (no buildings in front, just mountains), amazingly kind staff who made me feel very welcome, all in all a wonderful experience. Wish I'd stayed longer, but for sure if I am ever around that area I shall book only at Ibis Budget.

It was fantastic family holiday and we enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel. Stuff and people are friendly. We had good night sleep and very quiet area so perfect for family holiday staying in this hote. Breakfast was good and it would more good if we have few more items on breakfast like egg omelette and few more fruit options. But over all i recommended this holtel for all kind of visitors.

Bathroom Sink was leaking rooms were not very comfortable

This property has no transportation to and from the airport. It is in an area that is hard to get transportation. From airport to hotel= taxi-€60. Uber-€30. Uber is very seldom available. Front desk said to order a taxi 2 hours before you need it. Mine came faster but it was expensive.

Hotel far away from center city

Everything was of top standard, the rooms were clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and made the stay comfortable. Hotel had very pretty view and restaurants near by. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!!!

I have stayed in a few Ibis recently when I literally wanted the room to sleep in only. This was my first time in an Ibis Budget and I wondered how much more basic Ibis can be. Well, it is basic. A bed and a bathroom. But the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom functions with decent towels and shower gel. The reason to stay is because it is cheap. I paid Eur70 on a night when the Ibis in Geneva was over Eur300. It's a 10 min drive to the airport, and if you have a car this is a perfectly serviceable location. If you don't have a car, it's really middle of nowhere. When I left at 5.30am, breakfast was already being served. That's unheard of in most hotels, especially France.

New approach to hosting

Nothing around this area. No stores no restaurants ect On my last day there was a cockroach in the bathroom.

Around 30-40 mins bus ride from Geneva Airport if coming from that side. 15 min walk from bus station. Got us confused where could be entrance gate as it was pretty hidden from main road. Pretty small room for 2 adults, 2 kids. Flat pillows so didn't get any sleep. Good breakfast! Friendly Staff! I would rate it 3/5. Wish the pillows were nice.

I’ve been there many many times , very lovely place and practical, staff very welcoming, just small issue this time I payed the double price , I think because of the season but I think that they should do an effort for their regular customers.

Conveniently based for visiting the client

I stayed here for the exhibition in Palexpo. It is relatively close and cheap alternative to hotels in Geneva. Rooms were cozy and clean, more than you can expect for 2 star hotel. Breakfast basic but ok for the price. All in all, would recommend for a short stay. Nothing to do in the neighborhood though, so I recommend renting a car.

Very clean and fairly new. A bit isolated in terms of getting to all the action in Geneva. However, a short 5 or 10 minute walk along a path behind the building brings you to a bus downtown as well as some pretty good local restaurants.

Very pleased with this branch of Ibis Budget on the outskirts of Geneva, with easy check in, helpful night staff that can provide food when nothing else around is open late at night. They have warm paninis and pizza.

One of the few hotels (in France) we encounterd with proper family rooms (double bed and two single beds!). This Hotel is definitely value for money. We already stayed several times at this Hotel for our stop overs and the quality and service was everytime perfect. Much appreciated.

It’s exactly as described. It’s clean and cheap an easily accessible with your own car. It’s not close to public transport and it’s not really near anything of touristic interest. It’s exactly what we were looking for.

Excellent location near Saint Genis, excellent price.

Easy to get there, clean, comfortable. We could see our car from the parking. Staff was nice, we arrived late with a small child, and the room was spacious, with two extra beds in closets. We didn't use the breakfast because our flight departed very early, but F&B looked nice!
