Buena ubicación. Bonita decoracin.

La habitacion tiene muy mala iluminacion natural. No tiene sino una ventana chiquita hacia el interior. No tiene una mesa con silla para uno poder trabajar o sentarse un rato si necesita. Pocos enchufes para conectar.

Everything was perfect.

Only one thing is the absence of a daylight in the room. I suppose this is typical situation for Cartagena city center since the old style buildings have specific architectural features. So that there are a lot of hotels where the rooms faces a courtyard, so don’t have windows/ or only small ones.

La estadía fue excelente. El hotel es hermoso, las habitaciones muy cómodas, el WiFi funciona muy bien y la pileta es divina. Destaco especialmente la atención del personal: todos fueron súper amables y estuvieron siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudarnos con lo que necesitáramos. Volvería sin dudas.

Como puntos a mejorar, en el baño había por momentos un olor feo, similar a olor a cloaca, y nos llamó la atención también que no hubiera café de cortesía, algo que suele ofrecerse en muchos hoteles y más estando en Colombia. Fuera de esos detalles, tuvimos una experiencia excelente y quedamos muy conformes.

La ubicación es inmejorable

Primero, nos tocó en el 3 piso y no tiene ascensor así que si van con alguien que tenga restricciones de movilidad este no es el lugar. Segundo, la habitación era linda pero totalmente oscura, sin ventanas que pudieran dar luz natural. Había una pero era tan alta que no se lograba usar. Pedimos el desayuno, se demoraron un montón y nunca llegó completo. Finalmente, ya habíamos pagado el día anterior toda la tarifa de alojamiento incluyendo IVA pero se demoraron en el check out porque según ellos había algo pendiente por pagar.

Conforto com um toque colonial! Café da manhã espetacular! Piscina muito agradável para se refrescar e jaccuzzi no terraço com vista parcial da cidade foram um diferencial. Quarto confortável e banheiro grande (maior que o quarto, rs) com comodidades como secador de cabelo, roupão e produtos de higiene (de sabonete líquido à creme hidratante). A arquitetura colonial dá um charme a mais. Localização central perfeita, ao lado de um supermercado e a poucos passos de uma das principais praças.

Localização central (ao lado de um mercado e de uma das principais praças) Cama confortável, banheiro muito amplo (maior que o quarto) com produtos de toilette (incluindo shampoo, condicionados e hidratante corporal), secador de cabelo e roupão A piscina com folhagens ao redor e a jaccuzzi no terraço com vista parcial da cidade foram um diferencial. Atendentes muito atenciosos.

O hotel não tem elevador. Apesar de ter apenas 4 andares, se o seu quarto for no último andar (como foi o nosso caso), prepare-se para subir 4 bons lances de escada. Sentimos falta de um pendurador de toalhas no banheiro.

Tuvimos un inconveniente de falta de agua, pero nos solucionaron inmediatamente lo que necesitábamos.

Un hermoso hotel boutique, una pequeña piscina que es un oasis, la terraza es fantástica, la vista preciosa, para disfrutar del atardecer. El personal maravilloso, Dainer y Jhon súper amables, siempre con una sonrisa respondiendo tus inquietudes. La habitación hermosa, romántica, con bello balcón, techos altos, finamente decorado. El desayuno buffet espectacular, variado; es seguro que volveremos, muchas gracias!!

We had a wonderful stay at Estancia de La Mantilla! The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of Cartagena, making it easy to explore the city. Jhon truly made our experience special - he was incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming. It was a pleasure talking with him each day and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks to Jhon and the entire team! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Our stay at Casa Mantilla was lovely. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived which helped set the tone for the rest of our beautiful stay in Colombia. I couldn’t ask for a better hotel to stay at. It’s located in the historic center and which makes walking to different parts of Cartagena easy. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty with an open buffet and you also have the opportunity to order eggs as you wish. I want to personally thank the whole team at La Casa Mantilla they were so attentive and friendly throughout our week stay. Thank you Jhon, Dayana, Julio, Gleis, Jacobo, Melany, Dainer, y Breidys for making my stay in Colombia wonderful and for making me feel at home.

Nice hotel in the old town with an excellent breakfast for fruits, breads, juice, coffee, and eggs cooked to order. Close to all the action in the walled city yet on a quieter street so you can get a good night;s sleep.

This is a very well located boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed lazy afternoons on the roof terrace.

My friends and I loved staying here! The staff was lovely, especially Nestor and Jhon—from helping us with our bags, to making restaurant recommendations, to bringing a key up to my room when I forgot it—they were just lovely! The location is also perfect. It’s slightly off the beaten path, So it was super quiet, but still really close to everything. There’s only 14 rooms and we felt very safe staying here. The rooms were also incredibly clean and the housekeeping staff did a lovely job every day keeping them that way.

I loved it. I’ve traveled the world and this was one of my favorite stays.

Excellent location beside a grocery and near restaurants, good breakfast service, except for the receptionist Nestor and his rudeness when I arrived to check in a few hours after my boyfriend. He warned me that if I didn't show an email or something to prove my recent entry into the country and my trip to Cartagena, I wouldn't be able to check in. He was very defiant. How is it possible that a receptionist demands more information than American and Colombian immigration? It's unbelievable that he asked me so many questions, even though I'm Colombian, and nothing of him, even though he's a foreigner. Very rude. They no longer always physically stamp passports. With the Colombian biometric system, this hasn't been done for over five years, and they don't send any notification. But he's unaware of this. Also, we didn't have water early in the morning that first night, and there were mosquitoes. There was too much dust, cobwebs, and trash under the bed. The hotel's offers to compensate for receptionist Nelson's disrespect were ridiculous; they didn't care about ruining our last two days in the country. Thanks. // Excelente ubicación junto a un supermercado y cerca de restaurantes, buen servicio de desayuno, salvo por el recepcionista Néstor y su grosería cuando llegué a registrarme unas horas después de mi novio. Con el sistema biométrico colombiano, esto no se hace desde hace más de cinco años y no envían ninguna notificación. Pero él no lo sabe.

We had an amazing time in this quaint hotel in the beautiful historic Walled City of Cartagena. Our room was very beautiful but more impressive was the staff. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. Of note is Dainer Galan who worked the reception. He made amazing recommendations for restaurants and day trips. When the Uber picking us up for our day trip fell thru, he jumped into action and arranged for transportation that showed up in 3 minutes. He also communicated with the tour organizers letting them know we were running a little late. Thanks to his quick thinking and know-how, we did not miss our tour. He is the best!

Amazing location, and overall a good hotel, clean as expected and great staff

There were water shortages due to a pressure issue (we stayed on the third floor), so in the mornings we often struggled to have enough water for a shower. It seemed temporary, as someone was working on fixing it the day we left. Also, the room 302 can hear quite a bit of noise when something is moved on the terrace.

Las instalaciones son bonitas y l ubicación es perfecta, equidistante a los sitios de interés del centro histórico. El desayuno buffet es variado, delicioso café. Excelente la atención y disponibilidad de todo el personal. Tuvimos pasadía de cortesía en las instalaciones el hotel Caribe. Nos encantó el alojamiento y el servicio.

Tuvimos un contratiempo con el lavamanos, pero fue solucionado por el personal de mantenimiento.

Nice breakfast buffet, helpful staff. Our room was on the the third floor, no elevator. Very steep winding stairs difficult for older travelers to go up and down with luggage etc. Ask for a lower level room if you can.

Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well kept. Only complaint would be the room we stayed in was a little tight and little to no closet space. But we would definitely visit again.

I loved the location of this hotel along with the included breakfast, pool and friendly staff! I had a late flight when I was departing and I was able to hangout there and use the public shower near the pool after not having access to my room post-checkout. It was a comfortable stay for a solo female traveler too!

The top bed sheet was a little dirty when I arrived, but it wasn’t a ton and it made up for the fact that you can choose when you want someone to clean your room.

A little paradise in the middle of the city centre

Small boutique hotel in a quiet street within the walled city of Cartagena. Rooms are small, but very comfortable to enjoy the stay in the city. Personnel is very helpful and will make you feel at home.

Wonderful location in a slightly less quieter section of Cartagena walled city - very sleek decor, nice breakfast and very helpful staff, particularly Dainer who went above and beyond to help and offered some great advice in helping us choose a pasa dia option for the Rosario Islands.

Room size was a bit too small for the price paid

Overall, a great property I like the fact that they’re security most hotels have this and one big bonus. Is that literally on the right of the building there’s a shop where you can buy snacks drinks, alcohol, and all other stuff without needing to go to one of those shopping centers, so that’s a definite plus The thing I didn’t like though is that my room didn’t have a table that I could get any work. I was basically stuck on my bed or had to sit on this little chair that really wasn’t comfortable. I had to book a different hotel. My initial flight was one month out. I only booked three days initially at this hotel just the kind of gazed the vibe if I liked it, I was going to extend it or if I didn’t like it I was gonna just find a different hotel unfortunately I didn’t like the fact that it was literally no no table and chair for me to sit down on so you know unless I’m walking outside or engaging in activities I don’t I don’t want to just I just want to be able to do more than sleep in my hotel apart from that overall great atmosphere overall you know they check security if you invite someone over they’re gonna get their ID one thing that they didn’t tell me the way that you can’t you can’t invite unknown guest over without paying 300,000 pesos. I had to push back a little bit on that but eventually they budged because it was the same person even though it’s the same price for one or two guests you have to let them know where they’re gonna try to squeeze an extra 300,000 pe

Our stay at Casa La Mantilla was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The room was extremely comfortable and charming. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were great The cafe’ was wonderful for breakfast , eggs made to order and great selection of fruit and breads and of course coffee. The view from the roof top was beautiful, as was the pool area. I loved the stairs throughout. The staff was very friendly and helpful

El hotel está bien ubicado, no obstante creo que por el precio se puede conseguir uno mucho mejor, los cuartos no estaban 100% limpios, cocteles no venden, el hotel es súper básico. La atención del equipo bueno y lo único que sobresale.

We absolutely loved our stay. You can’t beat the location. Walkable to everything. All the best coffee and food within one or two blocks. Feels extremely safe. Beautiful inside. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the staff were all so accommodating and kind. Would definitely recommend!

A front desk staff member knows my current girlfriend and has decided to tell her about previous girls i dated while staying there. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Thisan should be terminated. It is not a business of staff to get involved in the personal lives of guests.

Hotel staff were very nice and location was great. The room itself was comfortable, however the bathroom was pretty small. We also didn’t have any hot water during our 4 night stay so that was unpleasant. The breakfast was also not great - the most edible options were the eggs that they can make any style and the fruit assortment (luckily there are plenty of cafes nearby). The staff were very helpful and friendly - they booked any taxis that we needed and let us know the price the taxis will charge. Overall, would have enjoyed the stay more with hot water and highlight of the stay is definitely the location / friendly staff.

El hotel es muy céntrico, ubicado dentro de la ciudad amurallada es muy seguro y se puede caminar a todas partes. Hay un supermercado al lado lo que es muy conveniente y tiendas para hacer compras y restaurantes. Las personas que trabajan son muy serviciales y amables, siempre con una sonrisa. Los desayunos son muy buenos y están incluidos.

My friend and I had an absolutely excellent stay. The service and staff were absolutely exceptional. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and were exceptionally hospitable. They allowed us to store our luggage while we stayed a few nights on the islands, which was really helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic and check in/out was a breeze. The two rooms we stayed in were beautifully appointed, quiet, and had everything we needed. We didn't make it down to the pool but did enjoy a rooftop soak in the hot tub. The location is fantastic, the building secure, and is walkable to everything. We had a wonderful time and would come back in a heartbeat!
