Solo tiene un baño con regadera ...

This place is easily five stars. Beats any hotel anywhere in Ensenada. Private parking, crazy amount of space, multiple bathrooms and showers, your own kitchen, dining room, living room, patio deck, private rooms. It's top of the line. Im not staying anywhere else from now on when I go out to Ensenada, it's just that amazing.

Everything was outstanding. From Rigo greeting and taking good care of us from check in to check out. This place is perfect for family vacation, friends night out or any other outing. This place is literally 5 min walking distance to the bars, clubs and restaurants. A+++ Also walking distance to el malecon.

Sin duda la vista del depto 4 es la mejor que he tenido en Ensenada. La ubicación inmejorable, cerca del centro, mercados, parques, cafés, restaurantes, etc. Si buscas un lugar cómodo, agradable, cerca de todo, un lugar para descansar con la mejor vista de ensenada... este es el lugar perfecto. Regresaría mil veces sin dudar.

Falta una tarja para lavar el trapeador.

The apartment was beautiful and very homey. 2 bedrooms + 1.5 bathrooms. It is very close to downtown / bar area (walkable). We were greeted us as soon as we got there. Shoutout to Rigo for being a great host!

Rigo was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our entire stay. The place was clean, modern and well kept. The location was great, making walking everywhere very convenient and the view was amazing.

Some of the towels had bleach spots, but were clean and soft.

Everything was great

The desciption said 3 bathrooms. It actually was 1.5 bath; it only has one shower. However, the shower was large and great water pressure.

The property had an amazing view to the ocean. Very clean and gated property. Rigo was very helpful since we got there and answered all the questions that we had if any. My family and I will definitely return in the new future. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). Overall good experience. Owner said he was going to replace hot water appliances.

All was as advertised, the location within walking distance of everything made it ideal for us. Felt modern, clean, tidy and well-equipped kitchen.

I think it would be even better with more shampoo / bath soap available, whether individual packets or larger packets secured to avoid loss. We ended up having to buy some for a two-day stay which we have to throw away due to hand luggage on a flight.

Property was exactly what the listing pictures described. Great location! The host was ready and available at all times! Will stay here again.

I loved that once we found the place, the person encharged of apartments answered the door right away and guided us without no hesitation and guided us with a walk through placed, very clean apartment in a very quiet end street, person very friendly confirmed our stay and we really enjoyed our stay and management. Management make you feel welcome, very reliable at all times.

A brilliant find for our first trip to Ensenada to attend a best friends wedding. Spacious and airy and really comfortable with great views from the balcony. Could not fault anything, exactly as described. Would definitely return here.

The host Don Rigo very attentive and very vigilant. The apartment are private and gated. No one goes in without a guest opening the gate for their guest. I felt safe and at peace. This is literally near Downtown. You're walking distance from American restaurants and you can also ubereat.

Great place to stay came from California

so clean and convenient. safe and comfortable. we have stayed here twice now and will probably continue to stay here every time we go to Ensenada. it’s such a comfortable place and so close to the bars but not too close to where you’re bothered by any noise. there’s always amenities and extra blankets and towels and pillows. even a speaker. we honestly LOVE this place

We did not have water in middle of night, had to wake up maintenance staff early morning. Toilet did not flush, had to get plumber to fix afterwards. No central heating. During December Christmas cold, Room heater provided was tiny and couldn't keep us warm enough. No hot water, lukewarm water initially, then while taking shower, it turned super cold. Then support staff changed our room and gave us a different unit due to these many problems, and the next unit heated water was much better, and we had a pleasant stay afterwards. Had they known about such problems earlier, should not have rented us that unit!!

It’s perfectly quiet and beautiful location very close to city centre. Spectacular view. Very pleasant & comfortable interiors.

I was 4 min away from the bars and seen all them gorgeous girl going in while i was stuck with my wife :( i try but couldnt get away at least for a night.

Very nice apartment within walking distance to the central tourist zone of Enseneda where all the main clubs and bars are at. The apartment is also a 25 minute drive to wine country (Valle de Guadalupe). The area is also safe.

El Refugio made our trip to Ensenada. Upon arrival we were met by Rigo who promptly provided keys and showed us around the unit. The location was great and walking distance to all that downtown has to offer (1st street, fish market, restaurants, marina). Also a short 40min drive to Valle de Guadalupe/wine country. Price was definitely high compared to other options, but you’re also not getting a 2 bedroom apartment, gated/private parking, and full kitchen with those. Great stay.

Easy to get to. Access kind of tricky. Property really nice with a nice view. There is no front desk or office so paying at the property took forever since the terminal wasn’t working. Had to go to the bank to pay in cash with the risk of having the card blocked because of so many attempts to pay. Advertised with washer and drier but no laundry detergent. Overall it was a nice stay.

Had a great time at El Refugio, definitely planning on booking there again. Total privacy and the decor was superb.

We loved the area of the property very close to the strip restaurants and the wine route the property was beautiful, had all amenities and was a gated complex.

Lots of room, nice view & great location. The property manger was in communication too.

We arrived for the Baja 400 and loved it. There was 2 private parking spaces with a gated entrance. So everything was safe. My only concern was that since my wife was in a cast it was a bit troublesome to get up the stairs but we managed. We will be staying here for additional Baja Races. Worth every penny

You could get way better deals going directly to any other place

It is a beautiful apartment. Four of us stayed and it was very spacious. It had everything we needed and the location was great. We would definitely stay again.

Luis, the guy that is on site and takes care of the condos is amazing, very helpful. Everything you could possibly need is provided. From wine glasses and dishes to laundry detergent.

This was our first time staying at El Refugió and our expectations were definitely exceeded. It’s really modern and clean with a great view. It’s gated and our carport was directly under our apartment. Luis, who is on site was an amazing host. He’s super friendly, attentive and was always available to us. We had such a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again.

The place is brand new, 10 minute walk from the happening places, $3 Ubers for far places. Luis the rep is on site, he was attentive, but really no issues to report. Great spot
