The stay was fantastic, we have rooms in both Marriott and Courtyard. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the Goji restaurant, we also had buffet dinner there as well which is also very good. Thanks for the wonderful service from the staffs there and in particular Monica Liao who took good care of us.

Initially felt It is a little off site from city centre. However you can take a hail ride to city centre that takes about 10-15mins with clear traffic and probably 30mins during peak hours. After staying for a night i totally felt it was a better choice as it is away from the hustling city and heavy traffic! There is a seaport 5 mins away from the hotel which can connects you direct to the unesco famous gulangyu island. Do check the hours of ferry operations. The air conditioner is controlled by the hotel staff so you can't adjust the air conditioner in your room so when you order this hotel you might feel hot in your room otherwise the crew and the room facilities are amazing the room is beautiful and clean so is the shower so good and powered

Location was very good. Need more staff that understands English. We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Also had an excellent housekeeper that took care of our room in 22nd floor Mr. Li — his work was very good!

We booked two rooms with relatives, both were upgraded to high floor with full ocean view. The famous island can be seen from the rooms when the weather was nice. Their club lounge provided good food during happy hours in early evening. Breakfasts at the restaurant were variety with additional options of local specialty. This hotel, however, is a little bit far from the city center.

Muy buen hotel

The staff there was polite and helpful. What I don't like is how booking.com arrangement. When I arrived , I was informed my booking wasn't in thier system. I was damn tired and have to wait until they arrange the room for me. I was checked in to the room and they verified my card while they checking my reservation with booking.com I was so shocked when my bill turn out RM965.80 instead of RM804 as I book earlier with booking.com If your portal unable to handle my booking , please inform me before I took the hassle take a taxi to the hotel. I am really disappointed with what was happened. Just felt been cheated by booking.com

Like the location and tge view. Dislike the bell service. They didn't want to help us to get a taxi to the airport. Just wanted us to take a hotel car that costs 4 times that of a business van. Hotel breakfast area and bar was not adequately heated.

This hotel was next to Metro line #2 Haicang Business District. Luxuriously decorated Lobby and suite. Marriott titanium members received a room upgrade to a sea view suite which has splendid sea view. Club lounge happy hour each day provided a combination of local and western cuisines. There were two pools, one of which was located exterior garden on the 4th floor and the other one was indoor heated. Staffs were accommodating.

This hotel is clean, the service is fantastic - from check in to restaurant - and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The pool is lovely and well maintained. Breakfast was very good and had a huge selection which was frequently replenished. However … it is definitely a business hotel and is very from from not only the beach, but pretty much everything to do. The other strange thing, and this has nothing to do with the hotel per se, but there were a LOT of families with children who were the worst behaved kids I’ve ever seen, anywhere in the world. There is no excuse for a 6ish year old child to be running around the restaurant, climbing on empty chairs of occupied table and under tables (where people were eating) while screaming at the top of his lungs. No one said a word to him or the parents (who were too busy on their phones to discipline or control him). And he wasn’t the only example of this type of behavior in my 24 hours there. I was disappointed that the “beach” outside the hotel was basically just a dirt lot and the room’s harbor view was marred by what looked like industrial buildings and equipment. I spent a night and after spending most of the day and evening in 30-40 minute taxi rides to meals and attractions, I decided to move to a hotel in a better location for me.

I have had the opportunity to stay at quite a few 5* hotels in and around China and this hotel has to be one of the most outstanding ones. The professional and friendly staff, ease of checking in/out, cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms, the breathtaking views day and night as well as the delicious and many food choices at the restaurants breakfast and dinner buffet. A special thank you to Jessica Ma for making my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Your warm friendly smile and attention to customers every need and comfort is highly commendable. I will most definitely recommend this hotel on your visit to exotic Xiamen!

A very new hotel and quite far from Xiamen city, need to spend time in the transportation. The room is good but the drain system in the shower area is very bad quality. The room is new and quite spacious, the view is also good. I wonder if there are many tourists group staying in the hotel therefore, quite noisy and messy in the lobby and breakfast area. Overall speaking, can stay but may spend time in staying in the room.

This is literally the best Marriott I have stayed in. I am impressed, and I have stayed in a few of them. I cannot understand how such a great brand like Marriott can let themselves have hotels like the Courtyard in Miami airport that is absolute rubbish, dated, and in the middle of nowhere, and then you travel to Asia to find this hotel. My room is massive (thanks for the upgrade) with an amazing bathroom and sea views, infinity outdoor pool, indoor pool, gigantic gym, shops and 3 restaurants. Very pleased. Will come here again and again when visiting Xiamen.

Distance from the central area of Xiamen means travelling quite a distance to get to the main attractions.

Your best-ever taking care has won my recognition it is because you make me feel Xiamen is my home so long as I stay with you. Big thanks passes to whole teams of the hotel for all of your leading role all the way from my check-in to my check-out.

Marriott Hotel Xiamen Haicang is a pretty new hotel which opened since August 2018. The facilities and rooms are still in great conditions, We are extremely satisfied during our 2 nights stay (May 3 to May 4) at this hotel. The check-in was swift and great despite our check-in time was beyond midnight. The staff was still at their high energy level and provided sincere and professional services despite at odd hours. We were pretty happy with their excellent customer services. We had to chance to use the swimming pools (both in-door and out-door) and the Gym. Both facilities are well maintained and staff are very friendly. We also visited the executive lounge a few times and were very pleased with the staff over there. They were helpful and served the customers well. (sorry, forgot to write down their names). Very appreciated their outstanding services. As a whole. 새로생긴 호텔이라 정보가 많이 없어서 걱정됐는데 좋은 숙박이었다. 가격대비 아주 만족 조식도 먹을만함 그러나 호텔주변이 아직 개발중이라 걸어서 다니면 갈 곳 없음 택시타고 나가야 마트도 있고 먹을 곳도 있다 주변에 개발이 다 되고나면 훨씬 좋을듯 가격도 오르겠지..?

廈門開了兩間萬豪, 一個在集美海邊, 一個在海滄海邊. 島外萬豪可直通海邊沙灘玩水, 海滄萬豪可一覽濱海夜景. 廈門照明產業發達, 夜晚時許多大樓都會打上LED燈光, 在海滄萬豪外可欣賞到眾多燈光秀的建築, 算一大特色風景. 房內空間頗大, 浴室還配了浴缸, 可以舒服泡澡. 我住的是行政房, 可至行政酒廊享受一番. 但目前新開業, 只提供了晚餐(happy hour). 以後可能還會再提供早餐與下午茶吧. 等有提供之時, 再去體驗. 早餐廳在一樓, 場地很大, 不像集美萬豪的餐廳空間較小. 但或許是盛名所負, 住萬豪的旅客特別多, 使得整個餐廳在早餐時間非常爆滿, 這點與集美萬豪差不多, 有需要與他人拚桌的可能. 也或許是我住宿當天正好有宗教團體也在住宿, 所以才這麼多人. 酒店還有一空中花園, 就在泳池旁, 可以在坐在戶外凳子上聊聊天, 目前天氣涼爽正適合. 唯一個人認為的缺點便是行政酒廊的服務員過於殷勤, 經常在客人身邊轉悠. 這也許是萬豪服務的SOP, 但我還是習慣與人保持點距離較好. 例如我在給甜點拍照時, 男服務員就趕緊來看一下甜點是不是有什麼異狀, 給我不自在的感覺. 不過有位女服務員還會調侃我是不是胃口不好, 吃得有點少. 這點與客人互動就滿好的, 我喜歡. 哈哈~
