Very clean, spacious and well appointed. As can be seen from the photos the top floor room does have low beams but has been laid out in such a way that they are not a big problem.

Stairs up to the top room are quite steep, but worth the effort!

We had a wonderful stay at Melin Tregib (Tregib Mill). The property is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We left around 4:30am to visit Skanda Vale Temple, and the location was very convenient for us. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable throughout. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. We truly appreciated everything and would definitely recommend Tregib Mill to others. We would be very happy to stay here again! 😊

Mouldy shower . Room still under going finishing 2 nd fix . The roof lights had no blinds or blackouts. The soundproofing in the building was very poor. Continental. Breakfast was very basic with limited selection of no particular quality. Drive parking area blocked by one parked car. Luckily there was an unsecured public car park next door .

Location was handy, easy to find. Bed was comfy.

Hard to negatiate the stairs and door to the room with baggage. So many stairs! Dirty shower. Difficult to use kitchen area. Breakfast was below expectations. The whole vibe was more bunkhouse than b&b, maybe I expected the wrong thing

Large bathroom, but no place to put your toiletries or clothes. Hard mattress, duvet feels and sounds a bit plastic-like. Quite noisy (showers and talking of downstairs neigbours late in the evening) No real coffee for self-catering downstairs breakfast. No savoury options.

We booked very late but despite this the host was still very welcoming and accommodating. We were a group of 3 bikers on an off road adventure ride through wales and making sure the bikes are secure is paramount for us. The bikes were able to be parked out of sight from the road.

Casa bella tipica della zona, la stanza da letto molto grande e fornita di bollitore, tostapane e tazze per il tè. Colazione basica, ma buona. Check in molto semplice Posizione ottima per visitare la zona. Padrona di casa accogliente e gentile.

Il materasso del letto non era comodo, presentava degli avvallamenti molto evidenti. Il bagno manca di piani di appoggio per gli effetti personali e di attaccapanni vicino alla doccia.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the breakfast provided was good. Having access to kitchen was very convenient. Parking was a real bonus.

The internet was not working so was inconvenient but other than that, no complaints.

Very handy for our road trip

This is a lovely old converted property in a beautiful location with on site parking. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful. This was a one night stopover for us but we wished we had more time to stay longer.

The entrance to the drive is a bit narrow and getting in could be a squeeze. This could lead to problems if several cars were parked at the same time.

I personally couldn't here any training/train etc. my other half was moaning about the train waking him up at 05.30 ISH. The rooms lay out was perfect for us. The kitchen is big enough for everyone to get there breakfast. And of course parking. If you do manage like we did to park on d/way!

The space we had to ourselves was great.

The breakfast was very plain. Simple supplies for a meagre continental.. We expected a cooked breakfast, but that was not the case.

Wenn das Haus einmal fertig ist, kann es schön werden. Der Frühstücksraum ist optisch ansprechend, nur zu klein, wenn das Haus ausgebucht ist, wie sich am Morgen nach der Übernachtung herausstellte. Der einzige große Tisch erinnert an eine Wohngemeinschaft, in der sich am Morgen jeder etwas zu essen sucht. Selbst Kaffee und Tee mussten sich die Gäste selbst kochen.

Vorab: wenn wir unterwegs eine lapidare Info über einen Self-Check-In erhalten, sind wir schon einmal not amused. Wenn es vor Ort keine Person gibt, die uns eine Auskunft geben kann, ob der an das Haus angrenzende Parkplatz überhaupt zur Unterkunft gehört, sind wir einfach nur verärgert, zumal für uns das Vorhandensein eines privaten Parkplatzes die Voraussetzung für eine Buchung ist. Uns war per mail das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss gegenüber dem Frühstücksraum zugewiesen worden, das gelinde gesagt eine Zumutung war. Es gab weder Nachttischchen noch eine Ablage in der Nähe der Betten, um Brille, Uhr etc. abzulegen. Das rechte Bett konnte nur über das linke erreicht werden oder man musste vom Fußende her hineinkrabbeln, weil das Doppelbett in einer Ecke steht. Auf dem Fliesenboden des Bades ist offensichtlich Fugenfüller oder Beton gemischt worden, ohne das die Reste entfernt worden waren, wodurch der komplette Boden rau und unansehnlich war. Ein Schrank fehlte im Zimmer ganz und gar. Wäre der Rechnungsbetrag für die Übernachtung nicht bereits im Voraus abgebucht worden, hätten wir uns unverzüglich eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. So etwas Gästen anzubieten, ist nur und ausschließlich eine Zumutung. Wie die guten Bewertungen und Fotos zustande gekommen sind, ist uns ein Rätsel. Wir können vor diesem Haus nur warnen.

Excellent location for touring in and around Llandeilo. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious accommodation. Good continental breakfast with a good choice of vegetarian options. Fast WiFi and friendly helpful staff.

As I was walking the Heart of Wales route this fitted the bill exactly as it was on route with a pub and Ffairfach railway station within ten minutes walk.

Our room was very comfortable and quiet. It was exceptionally clean. The fridge in the room was wonderful. Very good shower but nearly ran out of toilet paper. Access to our room on arrival was easy. Splendid location. Abundance of appliances in the kitchen.

We went into breakfast early but some of the food items were limited. eg no fruit juice on second day. I think it would be better to put information in the kitchen to explain what areas we could use and to alert other guests that it is a shared facility.Other visitors were also asking us where items were and what could they use.

The location was good for access to llandeilo and hikes. Easy contactless check in. Teas, coffees and breakfast provided.

The room needed a deep clean. Although the basics like bedding, kitchen area and towels were clean there were aspects like cobwebs, dust, and a very grubby sofa in need of being replaced (we stayed in the loft room). It was a bit expensive for what it was. I would not recommend for romantic couples but may be good for hikers.

The room was very nice. I originally asked for a ground floor room and was given Room 4, but then it seemed to have been changed to Room 2 on first floor. Stairs not easy for the elderly with suitcases.

The parking at the property wasn't brilliant. It was confusing. Breakfast a puzzle until we knew the score. This is not a "hotel", nobody on site, although we did meet a lady who cleans. The keysafe system was a bit nerve wracking as nobody to help if it didn't work.

Great self-serve breakfast. Very convenient for Llandeilo centre and for visiting Aberglasney Gardens and Carreg Cerren castle.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We were able to park our bike at the rear of the property out of sight. It was quiet at night.

The property was generally unkempt, rubbish in the yard and laundry left on an airer by the door was on the floor, we put it back on the airer and it was left overnight. Unfortunately we arrived in a heatwave, the shower would not turn down to cool so we could only take a hot shower. There was a very strong smell of drains on the landing. Breakfast was already laid out when we arrived at 5pm, pre packed croissants, brown and white bread and opened packs of cereals, unfortunately by the morning the white loaf for toast had developed mould. I live in an old house myself and am well aware what mouse droppings look like, in the evening there were droppings on the windowsill and dresser in the kitchen which rang alarm bells for me as the cereal packs were left open overnight. The owner did arrive in the morning and refreshed the kitchen, she did mention to my husband that she actually lives some distance away. We were not aware that no member of staff or owners lived on site, the self check in worked perfectly well but security of the building was worrying as all of the doors were left open overnight.

A fine place to stay for a night or maybe two, well located between national parks and waterfalls

Granted we were there in a heat wave but not aircon or fan, struggled to sleep in the heat. Strange odour emanating from one of the other rooms and the key / lock system needs upgrading as it’s very fiddly. The cleaning wasn’t great and we never met anyone from the cottage

The accommodation was fine, nicely converted and our room was nice.

Unfortunately, the day we were there, they seemed to have a problem with the drains. The whole place stank. The room itself wasn't too bad but the hall, landing and stairs had an overpowering smell of stale drains. Disgusting.

When we arrived after following instructions for access to key found it had already gone further inspection found someone in room soon sorted and given alternate room which was excellent

The building is a lovely and well-maintained home that has been divided into five rooms with ensuite baths. The breakfast area was primarily self-serve and well-stocked. Our hostess did a great job of seeing to things without being under foot.

We had difficulty with our arrival, as there was a message that didn't come through to our US phones explaining the check-in procedure. The building has a series of key boxes with combination locks. The message we didn't receive was telling us which key box and the code to allow us into the building and our room. Fortunately another guest was near by at the critical moment and contacted our host for us to clear things up.

The room wasn’t properly cleaned and a bit dated (e.g paining in the bathroom). Free breakfast sounds better than it is, we ended up buying our own from the second day.

Our room was nothing like the images on the web. We could not get into our room as we were given no information. The room was disposed to be for disabled. But you still had a step up into the shower.

Breakfast was fine, everything that we wanted. Location was great, not too far away from the wedding reception that we went to.

The room was unfortunately not very clean at all, with furniture covered in thick dust, dirty marks and smears and cob-webs everywhere. There was spilt drinking chocolate over one of the tables. There was an overwhelming smell of cheap washing powder on the bedding , which made me very unwell , so I tried to sleep on the sofa but the noise and smell kept me awake so I ended up with only a few hours sleep , which ruined my big family reunion. The B&B was near a very loud and quite busy road, so unable to sleep. Owner failed to provide a breakfast other than toast which I am allergic to . A nightmare stay where & one place where I would never , ever, book again !

Tracy is such a welcoming and helpful person. Family room was very comfy and large. For 2 of us friends. The kitchen is large with all we needed and the property feels like home.

la verdad es que pensé que era otro tipo de alojamiento diferente de el que era. La calefaccion no estaba encendida cuando llegamos y en la habitacion hacía frío. Luego a la mañana la señora la encendió, yo aún le escribí un mensaje diciendo a la noche que hacía frio...

We hadden een ruime en mooi ingerichte kamer met een heerlijk bed en goede kussens. Privé parkeren bij het gebouw. Op loopafstand kan je het plaatsje in om te eten.

Het ontbijt vonden we wat eenvoudig. Was wel voldoende maar was zelfbediening en helaas geen gebakken eitje en kaas/vleeswaren.

The room we had in the attic was spacious but it all felt tired and the carpets were all a bit grubby when we visited? The shower was very poor in our bathroom! The kitchen and dining area down stairs was modern clean and very spacious and well equipped for self catering

There was very little toilet paper in our room when we arrived so I telephoned the number to ask for more and the wi fi code for the attic we had no reply until the next day and never received the wifi code for the attic room. Overall not very impressed with the place

I am not a fan of memory foam mattresses, but my mother in law had a very comfortable mattress in her room. We didn't receive the check-in code which was a bit unsettling, but Tracey was able to help us get in.
