The breakfast was wonderful, everything that you could want was available, cereal, yogurt, fruit, cooked breakfast - which was perfect. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was also very clean. The hotel is just a short walk to the castle which we were visiting with family All the staff went above and beyond, they were all polite, friendly and went out of their way to assist us.

Car park is only 4 spaces, and there are at least 10 rooms so wasn’t space available for us. Breakfast was bad, no menu for hot food and when asked what we would like I ordered scrambled egg on toast, I wasn’t told this wouldn’t come with toast and so once the eggs arrived I had to go and get toast but there was a queue and by the time I got the toast the eggs were cold and if I’m honest even hot they wouldn’t have been nice, breakfast didn’t have mugs ready for hot drinks, juice wasn’t topped up, just all round not a good experience for breakfast. Our room also backed onto the beer garden so was very noisy when trying to go to sleep

Parkeerplaats was vol bij de locatie, dus moesten we bij de naastgelegen supermarkt parkeren. De kosten daarvoor werden weliswaar vergoed, maar eer we begrepen hoe we daar langer dan 2 uur konden parkeren, waren we toch in ieder geval de installatie van een speciale app verder. Was dus lastig

It was just a very hot summer's day and the heat on the second floor was unbearable. We didn't sleep well, even with two fans on the go. But other than that, it was a lovely stay.

Room was comfortable, with a FAN . Breakfast was great and freshly cooked Ate in the tapas resturant and the food was really delicious. Lots of outside seating which was good in the very hot weather. Would stay again. Minutes into town and next door to Sainsbury's. Really great staff. Very small car park - arrive early if you want to get in it! 5 spaces

Very close to everything. All the staff were amazing. Immaculately clean room. Hats off to the lady who cleaned and made up the rooms, she was such a hard worker and our room was always perfect.

No air conditioning. Our room was like an oven. We were there during a heatwave and a few fans didn’t made any difference as we were in room 7 at the top of the house. Only one small window to open and we didn’t sleep a lot cos it was so hot. Not the properties problem but aircon would have made so much of a difference. We were glad to get home to be able to sleep in a cooler environment. I know it’s a very old property and it’s hard to update but it would have made a big difference to our sleep quality. Having said that I would definitely recommend and stay here again as the staff were so wonderful and the food was beautiful.

Excellent location, very close to town centre, only 3 mins walk, and 8 mins to Warwick Castle. Free convenient parking was a real bonus as parking is expensive in Warwick. Extremely friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Lovely clean room. Superb value for money!

The kings head is as expected for a 400 year old pub, rustic and cozy. The outside area was of a Latin American style, and was great to sit outside and a have a drink or meal. You did not feel like you were sat in car park. Breakfast was good and set you up for the day. All staff were very polite and friendly

Room was at the top floor, pretty difficult to climb the stairs with heavy luggage . Also very hot overnight , no AC , windows do not open widely!!

On our first night the bar closed at 9 as they had no staff very disappointed as it was lovely weather and would have been nice to sit outside in the garden area. Also breakfast was far too early with only an hours timescale not suitable for everyone especially when on holiday.

We were greeted by a 4 poster bed, which we weren't expecting so a nice suprise. The building is old so some quirky features ie wonky floors which we loved. Comfortable bed, and a lovely breakfast. We thought this place was good value for money.

Our 2nd stay here for Warwick Folk Festival. Lovely helpful staff especially the owner/manager Mike. Excellent breakfast and room was lovely with walk in shower. South American themed with tapas on the menu. Opposite Sainsburys supermarket is a bonus for shopping.

This is a very old building like most in Warwick and access to the bedrooms unfortunately is difficult for those with mobility issues due to uneven and narrow winding stairs to upstairs. Nothing can be done about this and it was our second stay here and we love the hotel but unfortunately cannot stay again because of our mobility issues.

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk to anywhere you might need to go. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Sainsbury’s was right next door if there was anything you needed.

My only ‘gripe’ was the breakfast times, not really a gripe rather an observation, I feel it could be extended.

The bed was comfortable but it was only a double. The breakfast was very good and one of the few saving graces. The young lady responsible for the breakfast area was extremely polite and helpful. The second saving grace. It was a bonus having a bath as well as a shower!!

The room was minute by any standards and decor was poor. It looked like it had been refurbished but with little attention to detail. There was basically just enough room to walk round the bed. To the left hand side next to the bed you could feel a hole in the floorboards which we found unacceptable. The reception we received on arrival was virtually non-existent apart from here are your keys get on with it. Having said that the person behind the bar was also serving customers. Similarly on departure nothing. The room we were given bore no resemblance to any of the pictures on the website. What is particularly galling was that most people were only staying one night whereas we had booked for 4 nights so surely they would have wanted to impress and give us an alternative room, There were 9 rooms I think but only parking for 5 cars. I had raised the question of parking in advance and was told there was parking close by and any costs incurred would be reimbursed. On each evening we returned there were no parking spaces and on our last night we could not even get in the entrance as 2 cars had parked there. Sainsburys was very close and we used that facility at a personal cost of £22, We sent a note requesting a refund but this justifiable claim has been ignored, Due to the compact nature of the room a small chest of drawers had been placed in a cupboard which rendered the hanging space for dresses etc as unusable. We were away from home for three weeks and this was the only disappointing accommodation of the 5 we had booked. What surprises me most of all is that I am extremely careful in ensuring we choose our stays carefully but I have obviously made a serious error of judgement on this occasion. The owners should consider this feedback very carefully and think seriously about refunding part of our booking fees.

It’s a pub with pub accommodation. Parking was non existent and it was a hotbox in 34deg heat with only a fan. If it’s hot, I would look elsewhere. Comeon guys, AC is not a luxury these days, get reverse cycle units installed in all rooms.

Der Unterkunft war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet, nicht weit vom Schloss.

Leider haben wir sehr schlecht geschlafen durch die Hitze und fehlende Klimaanlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 2.ten Stock und auf die engen Treppen war sehr schwierig unser Gepäck zu transportieren.

Location is perfect for getting into the town centre. Room comfortable and clean.

It took a long time to try and get the shower to a reasonable temperature. It was either scalding hot or cold. In the end, I had a tepid shower. I appreciate the age of the building; and we were on the top floor; but wasted a lot of water trying to get the temperature right.

400 year old pub near centre of Warwick, small room but everything provided for a short stay. Really good Latin American food and community atmosphere was a pleasant surprise- colourful courtyard seating and great tapas . It was a hot weekend and World Cup on in bar - but provided with good fan & top floor room and were undisturbed . Good VFM in Warwick area . Pub Breakfast .

Access to room up 2 flights of stairs and small size (10m2) may not suit everyone. It was fine for us. Parking is quite limited , with narrow access , permit parking in nearby roads.

The King's Head was just lovely all round. The pub and restaurant were really nice, breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and delicious. The rooms were lovely, beds comfy, tea and coffee making stuff provided, toiletries provided in the bathroom and the room was lovelyand clean. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The location was great, a short walk to town and Warwick Castle. We had a fabulous stay.

The whole building was extremely hot, whether in your room or in the restaurant. Not their fault, its really hot outside so not a lot that could be done. I planned ahead and took a really powerful fan with us for the room. The hotel did provide a fan but it wouldn't have been powerful enough for me. Be warned, the car park is really small. The staff however were fabulous at helping us to park.

Really pleasant and welcoming host, and his family. The room was very clean and comfy bed. We stayed as a group with my colleagues and everyone was very happy with the rooms. Also, extra bonus was fantastic tapas and food in Rumba restaurant.

It's not a dislike - we worked it out but the car park exit was a bit challenging as it was packed up. I wouldn't try parking a van there but works fine for the cars.

Well positioned being a few minutes walk from the centre and castle. The room was clean and comfortable. Although a pub and restaurant below there was no noise to keep us awake, we had a great nights sleep.
