Great location, new stylish decor, lovely staff

The on-site parking is very limited and there’s little long term public parking anyway near. They should do a deal with nextdoor’s masons!

Excellent stay for business or leisure. The staff were fantastic, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. My room was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout, including a Roberts radio, and had everything I needed. It felt like a home from home. The bed was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed a wonderfully quiet and peaceful night's sleep. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious too. Great value for money and I would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Dusty room, smelt like damp. Zero phone service and very poor WiFi. Bathroom had a bad smell coming from the drains. When checking out I was asked how my stay was, I said not great and they didn’t ask why or show any care for it.

Breakfast was amazing!! Fresh fruit salad and TRACY!!! Fabulous lady serving in the breakfast room. She remembered my particular tea order EVERY DAY! It makes you feel good that you can start your day like that with a lovely person , a proper up of tea and great decor. When I arrived, I had misunderstood that my room would require stairs , and I have a mobility issue. GRACE kindly delt with me in my exhausted and tearful mood (klm had not put "assisted travel".on my ticket and I desperately needed with a cane and walker!) She was super helpful and very patient and put me at ease. The gentleman that were on staff ( I'm sorry I didn't get thier names) were lovely!! Your staff were truly kind and helpful!!! I am truly impressed!!

I had a security light outside my window to the car park that was a little bothersome when I tried to sleep. I am sorry that I forgot to mention to staff that the shower door would not remained closed while I was showering. If this could be reported to them, I am now out of the country so I will try to email them

Great location

After a fantastic day out in Warwick we came back to the room untouched, no clean towels or coffee cups. Tea and coffee was not replaced.

Staff were lovely and the hotel was immaculately clean, the food was excellent and there was fabulous live misic on each night. My only quibble would be the bed was extremely hard, we were only there a couple of nights so it was fine but if we had stayed longer it might have become an issue.

Was very pleased & surprised by how lovely the hotel was based on it being an old coaching inn. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful & gave excellent service. The breakfast was very high quality & served in a pleasant, quiet dining room. Our twin room was quiet & comfortable with lovely toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities & a smart TV. Warwick Castle plus bars & restaurants were all a short walk away. A perfect place to stay for a couple of nights & very good value seeing as we booked for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Absolutely nothing! No negative comments at all - we even managed to find a space in the small car park for the second night.

Die Zimmer sind super schön eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Das Restaurant, das zugleich auch der Raum für das Frühstück ist, ist ganz gemütlich eingerichtet und wunderschön gedeckt. Die Karte für das Dinner ist vielseitig wie auch das Frühstück. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt in jeder Beziehung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schön ist auch die kleine Terrasse im Innenhof, auf der man sich vor und nach dem Dinner auf einen ganz entspannten Drink treffen kann.

It was very clean, and has a very refreshed and modern look. It was very comfy. The staff were also fab.

The noise does travel from downstairs and was a bit loud in the bar area, however, the music didn't go on too late, which was considerate.

Hotel much improved since our last visit four years ago, brilliant staff, lovely clean and spacious bedroom, new shower room and great breakfast.

Room is fine but for some reason did expect it to be bigger. Shower is extremely small and a tight squeeze. Staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you.

Air conditioning would have been nice but then it’s an old building so we know this probably wouldn’t be feasible.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms were gorgeous. The man on reception was extremely polite. The bed was comfortable and an iron was brought to our room immediately on request.

The breakfast let us down. The staff seemed to get confused bringing wrong drinks and half the orders. Long wait for drinks and food which was all cold but we were hungry so ate it anyway and they did apologize for the delay so we didn't mention the food being cold.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Our room was comfortable, and the bathroom in particular was exceptionally clean. The staff were generally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I also appreciated that, after check-out, the hotel kindly stored my luggage so that I could collect it later.

1- Room was not ready at check-in We arrived at 3:00 pm, but unfortunately our room was still not ready. When I asked a member of staff why, I was told, “because we were very busy last night.” I did not find this a reasonable explanation for a room not being ready at the advertised check-in time. I have experienced similar delays at other hotels before, but in those situations the hotels usually apologised for the inconvenience and offered something as simple as a complimentary drink while we waited. At this hotel, however, we were simply asked to wait in the lobby until someone called us to let us know that the room was ready. The difference in customer service was noticeable. 2. Disappointing “castle view” Before our stay, the hotel kindly informed me that our room had been upgraded to a larger room with a view of Warwick Castle, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the reality was disappointing. The room appeared to be located in the loft/attic area and had a very small window. As can be seen in the picture I have attached, the window was extremely small and there was no meaningful view of Warwick Castle. Therefore, describing the room as having a castle view created an expectation that, in my opinion, was not reflected in the actual room. 3. Full payment taken approximately three weeks before arrival. This was the most disappointing part of my experience. The payment information shown on Booking.com stated “Pay at the property before arrival.” My understanding of the booking conditions was that I had the option to make payment to the hotel before arrival, and that if I had not done so, my card could be charged shortly before the stay. However, the hotel charged the full amount approximately three weeks before our arrival. I contacted the hotel about this before our stay. They acknowledged that the wording was unclear and told me that they were working with Booking.com to make the payment information clearer.

Fantastic location for all attractions. Staff were incredible, going above and beyond, always with a smile. It was warm in the rooms, but they had even put a fan in the room. Managed to park 2 cars in carpark behind hotel, so all very easy.

Great Location in the middle of Warwick. The interior of the rooms is nice as Just been recently done up so very new and clean. There is also a very small car park at the back, I happened to get a space which was very convenient when you are a loan traveller with a lot of luggage. \The rate was good but you had to pay for breakfast b the quality was good.

There was not air conditioning in the rooms. Downstairs it felt cooler, so there may have been some there. It is a listed building so not so easy for them.

The room decor was very nice and looked brand new, a selection of tea, coffee, milk and a biscuit were available in the room as was bottled water. There was the usual hair drier and unexpectedly also an iron and ironing board.

Not a great problem but on being seated for breakfast and order taken we were not told or aware that there was a help yourself breakfast buffet until a cooked breakfast arrived and we enquired about toast and were then told about the help yourself in the next room.

Room was really good - well decorated and almost homely i.e. not the usual impersonal feeling of a hotel. Location was excellent - right in the old town with lots of places to see and shops and eating places aplenty. Big park by the river with lots of activities for all ages.

We decided to have our evening meal at the hotel and it was a little disappointing. We ordered linguini which we enjoy however this was not the same standard as all other aspects of the hotel. It was not bad just a little salty however the ingredients did not equate well with the price. It was not terribly expensive however the prawns were baby size - the size normally used to make paste. A shame really and we did give polite feedback as this was not a true reflection of the place.

The hotel is centrally located in the town centre with lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance from hotel. The staff were excellent, all being friendly and always there to help. The hotel was very clean and the room even with no air conditioning was reasonably cool in the hot weather.

The room would benefit from a chair rather than a stool in particular if you are using hotel as part of business travel. We were lucky to get a parking space at the rear of the hotel, but spaces are very limited.

We had an evening meal which didn't disappoint. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We loved the special touches in the room. Fresh milk was available plus bottles of water and lush toiletries. We loved the little rubber duck sitting in the shower. There is a peacock outside. It was only a 15 minute walk from the station and it was right in the middle of all of the attractions

Nothing I didn’t like. I felt lunch options were a little over priced particularly as a 10% service charge was added even when paying in advance. Not something that is generally customary in the UK.

The Castle Suite was spacious, comfortable and elegant. The whole decor of the hotel was lovely. Everything was maintained to a very high standard. Staff were, without exception, polite, helpful and friendly.

The weather was very hot, the room was cooled by a fan but a small fridge to keep drinks cool would have been nice. The cooked breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. However, the buffet breakfast was somewhat sparse. Despite being down in good time only one croissant was left!

Last July I treated myself to four nights at the Warwick Arms when attending Warwick festival; I had always camped on the festival grounds in previous years. This is a wonderful hotel to stay in, however the shower in my room hardly worked at all, I remember thinking the campsite showers would have been preferable and more efficient! Each morning when I told reception how unhappy I was with the shower, I was told somebody would look into it but nothing was done. I was also told there could be no reduction in what I paid for my stay as I had already paid through Booking.com. When I was checking out, I asked who I could contact to tell them how unhappy I was with my stay. I was first told by the receptionist that she didn’t know who I should contact as the hotel was changing hands. After I got home I was contacted with an email address to contact: I emailed this address several times over several weeks but no one ever got back to me. (I would far rather have discussed this matter in private rather than on this public forum.) This sadly leaves me with unhappy memories of this lovely hotel, for what should have been a real treat to look back on happily. I hope others get better service!

Attended for lunch with two families . Ordered Tuna mayonnaise and cucumber doorstop , ham and tomato doorstop and 4 chicken Caesar wraps. There was no thick cut bloomer just sad dry white sliced bread . Two lonely thick pieces of cucumber in the sandwich. The wraps had very little chicken and the ends of lettuce . There was obviously no pride taken in the food and we waited about an hour for it. The staff were pleasant and responded well to feedback and the kids fish and chips was good … we should all have ordered that !

The room and hotel generally was well appointed, and comfortable. Food, both evening meal and breakfast was very good and the location worked for us so well. No parking on site but a 24hours car park very nearby. We enjoyed ou=r stay.
