Amazing suites, perfectly renovated and designed. They were clean, brand new and super comfortable. Also we were in the middle of the old city. Circled by great restaurants, bakeries, and boutiques.

Centrally located, the building is in the middle of the old town and located on the corner of a large open square. Very easy and immediate access to the narrow lanes of the old town and all of the great restaurants, shops, and businesses. The staff were very pleasant to work with and consistency offered to assist us with any recommendations and sight-seeing advice. The room design was very interesting and had windows that viewed out onto the romantic and narrow passage in the old town. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a Nespresso coffee machine, small refrigerator and a functional television. Our room had an upstairs/loft that you could reach by climbing a set of stairs. The loft had a cute sitting area with a small couch and the high ceilings made the room feel larger than it was. The double entry door made it feel more secure.

The layout of the bedroom area was very simple and it felt a bit cramped. The staircase leading to the loft was steep and the stairs were a bit slippery. The air conditioning worked very well for the lower part of the room however it was never quite efficient enough to cool the loft area (the primary sitting area). The nook for the coffee maker and refrigerator was very tiny and not easy to use due to its cramped location underneath the stairs. The lack of space in the bedroom area made it difficult to maneuver (and we are smaller people) especially with a large suitcase. The building was formerly an ancient Hammam, however it was not well represented inside of the room.

The hotel is very well located, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the "Junior Suite" itself, and we really cannot recommend it. It was humid, with a strong and unpleasant damp smell that was difficult to ignore. The room also lacked natural light, even for a ground-floor room. There are two windows: one is quite small, barred and faces the street, while the other opens onto the hotel’s internal staircase, making it difficult to properly air out the room. We understand that the other rooms may not have the same issue, which certainly explains the hotel’s otherwise very good reviews. However, the conditions in this particular "Junior Suite" significantly affected our experience, and we therefore cannot say that we were fully satisfied with our stay.

The location in the middle of the old town was exceptional, and yet at the same time had a private terrace and private enclosed hot tub area on the roof which was just amazing at sunset/night time. The building has an amazing historical architectural perspective - which made for a completely unique visit.

Location was very walkable to all things in old town. We walked to dinner, shopping etc. Room was very clean, beds were super comfortable and was a great place to stay. Location was central to some nice beaches and a hike.

Booking says it has parking. It does not, you have to either find public parking/street parking, or paid parking. All options require a 6ish minute walk to the hotel which is on a walk only street. Which was totally fine for us.

Great location - right in old town. Front desk lady was lovely and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and big. It’s on a pedestrian street, but parking is close.

Είδα άλλες φωτογραφίες και τελικά μας πήγαν σε ένα δωμάτιο που ανέβαινες μια σκάλα , η οποία ήταν τσιμεντένια . Είχε παλιά πόρτα και κοινό χωλ για καφέ με άλλα δωμάτιο .

Good location, friendly staff and nice room, even fits 4 people if you want.

If you have to think of something negative, there could be blankets in the room, there were only sheets on the bed, so it was a bit cold in the night. Of course we could have turned the AC down (too much wine for us maybe). Other than that it was perfect.

The location was excellent, right in the city centre, close to restaurants and the Old Town. The design and décor were beautiful, and the administrator was very polite and helpful. Tea, coffee and a bottle of water were provided in the room, which was a nice touch.

I would not recommend booking a room on the ground floor during the summer. The room was very humid and stuffy, making it difficult to breathe. There was no balcony, and the window facing the courtyard did not provide enough fresh air. Even the air conditioning did not help at night, so it was uncomfortable to sleep.

La décoration de l'hôtel et de la chambre est très soignée. L'atmosphère est chaleureuse et feutrée. Le personnel est serviable et à l'écoute. Grand plus pour la machine à café à capsule qui a été réapprovisionnée durant le séjour.

La chambre était humide et sentait mauvais même si la ventilation de la salle de bain restait allumée. La chambre en rez-de-chaussée donnait sur l'escalier et le couloir de la réception ainsi que sur une place très animée côté fenêtre. Un homme a même uriné devant notre fenêtre alors qu'elle était ouverte. Nous avons que le rapport qualité prix était vraiment décevant. Nous nous attendions à une expérience plus sereine comme le laissait supposer la décoration et l'atmosphère de la chambre.

Muy bonito y bien restaurado y recuperado.

Un poco caro para lo que es, en comparación con otros sitios donde estuvimos. Cogimos dos habitaciones por mas o menos el mismo precio, una resultó ser enorme y espaciosa - fantástica. La otra en el bajo con lo que olía un poco a humedad, y con la cama doble pegada a la pared, lo que no es ideal para una pareja.

Deux nuits en juillet. Entre chambre d'hôtel et petit appartement. Tout neuf, joli et confortable. Idéalement placé tout près du centre. Accueil agréable et aide bienvenue. Hébergement à recommander.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de parking plus proche. De plus, le prix du parking est évidemment à rajouter au prix de l'hébergement.

La struttura è in una zona centrale da cui si raggiungono facilmente a piedi il porto antico, la fortezza veneziana e tutti i luoghi di interesse del centro storico di Rethymno.

Beautiful stay. Perfect central location. Close to everything. Clean room. Friendly staff and helpful with letting us leave our bags whilst our room wasn’t ready yet.

Was advertised as 2 beds but when we arrived they said the second bed is a sofa bed and only used for children. So despite paying for a 2 bed room we ended up sharing. Would recommend (more for a couple than 2 separate people as would need 2 rooms for 2 adults beds)

Completely lovely! It was one of the best places in Crete. The room had levely terrace that was perfect to chill at night

Alle faciliteiten zijn er maar de kamer is heel klein. Ik had de executive suite met jacuzzi maar het is allemaal nogal beperkt qua ruimte.

Ήταν όλα υπέροχα,το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο,άνετο,πανέμορφο και για την τιμή της junior σουίτα που έμεινα ήταν εξαιρετική και άξιζε. Η τοποθεσία του είναι σε πάρα πολύ καλό σημείο και μερος. Και τέλος,η εξυπηρέτηση του προσωπικού ήταν άψογη,πολύ ευχάριστοι και βοηθητικοί σε ότι και αν ρωτήσετε ή αν χρειαστείτε. Το συνιστώ 100% για διαμονή και φυσικά θα το ξανά προτιμήσω σε επόμενα ταξίδια μου στο Ρέθυμνο.

Just perfect! It’s right in the center of the old town and the building itself is beautiful. You can feel the history of the town in the rooms and the decor only enhances this. The room was very cozy and a clean. On top of everything else, the staff are so friendly, welcoming, and happy!

We loved the 2 floors with the kitchen upstairs. The balcony.allowed us to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the city in the evening.

We didn't like having to leave. :)

Accogliente e confortevole, ottima scelta per il nostro soggiorno a Rethymno. È nel cuore della città ma in una parte silenziosa e tranquilla. La nostra king suite era kolto carina, ben arredata, su due livelli. Letto comodo con piccolo balconcino di fronte a una bellissima bouganville. Al piano di sopra cucina con divano, tavolo e terrazzino con vista sui tetti della città, incantevole. È necessario parcheggiare fuori e entrare in centro a piedi. Consigliato!

Great location in the heart of the old town.

The out-of-hours contact process needs to be much clearer, and issues should be resolved without guests having to argue for basic assistance. Guests should not be treated with contempt, and staff should take a more proactive approach to finding solutions. Additionally, access and logistical information should be provided well in advance of the day of travel so guests can prepare properly. We encountered an issue after hours which nearly resulted in my partner either having to remain in the corridor or find alternative accommodation elsewhere. Despite providing my name and trying to explain the situation calmly, the response we received was dismissive and unhelpful. We were also placed under unnecessary time pressure when leaving for our flight due to a “misunderstanding” regarding a taxi arranged through the hotel. Frankly, it is not acceptable that nearly every interaction with staff was either difficult or affected by avoidable mistakes. There needs to be a far less complacent attitude towards guest service and problem resolution.

Posizione perfetta per visitare la cittadina e perdersi tra i suoi vicoli. Parcheggio disponibile a pagamento nelle vicinanze. Camera piccolina ma essenziale, molto carino l'accesso al balcone al piano superiore.

Das Personal war sehr nett und die Einrichtung war sehr schön und geschmackvoll

Die Zimmer waren extrem klein, so dass es sogar mit Handgepäck schwierig war. Wir waren außerdem der Überzeugung dass wir die Dachterrasse mitnutzen können weil es auf den allgemeinen Bildern abgebildet war. Das war nicht der Fall. Das war sehr Schade. Außerdem war das Zimmer zu einem Spielplatz und Park gerichtet und es war nachts ziemlich laut. Die Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank im Zimmer war zudem sehr ruckelig und laut so dass ruhiger Schlaf schwierig war. Ebenso die Lichter im Zimmer.

Very central, close to a free parking lot, close to good restaurants (really recommend Castelo restaurant), a bed that is not too hard (unlike some other hotels around), flexible check out times and friendly staff. Comfortable and above expectations.

Dass da Haus im Filter "mit Parkplatz" aufscheint, ist wohl eine Fehlbewertung bei Booking, denn parken geht nur auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz. Der ist zwar relativ nahe und auch preiswert, aber deshalb steht man dort ziemlich lange an, weil die anderen gnadenlose Preise verlangen

Tout aimé. L'emplacement, la suite en duplex composée de la chambre, une SDB, un salon a l'étage et une terrasse. Top. Un acceuil agréable et attentionné ☺️.

Le seul hic, si c'en est un, est que la largeur des rues ne permet pas que l'on accède à l'hôtel en voiture.

A place to be in Rethymno! The suites are fantastic and very individually and unique. Second time staying at Neratze Hammam and I can highly recommend it. Even in the center of the old town, it‘s a quite place and you can enjoy and relax. Everything you need is in walking distance. I will definitively come back!

We were lucky to stay in the fabulous room with a two terraces and a Hamman. The room was superb, great location and the staff really helpful and kind. I can't fault the stay.
