Everything was 5 plus stars. Nicest place we stayed in Crete so far. Rooftop terrace was amazing at sunset with a crazy view. The room was exceptionally well furnished and supplied. Loved the comfy bed. Also the owners provided a free parking spot!

Great location in the old town with wonderful roof top area.

Parking was difficult as cars aren’t permitted in the old town but we were met by a staff member who helped us find a park.

Hôtel très bien situé, chambre confortable et propre, situé au calme. Belle vue sur la ville. Grand merci à notre hôte réactif qui nous a offert une place de parking le temps d'une journée. Très bonne communication.

La casa est formidable, au cœur de la vieille ville. Tout est parfait ! 2 nuits dans l'appartement Rosemary. Une belle terrasse appréciable. La décoration est soignée,sombre et de qualité. Tout le nécessaire est présent, le logement est grand. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, copieux et diversifié. Les responsables, d'une extrême gentillesse.

L'emplacement de l'établissement dans un quartier historique. Le toit terrasse avec ses deux fauteuils offrant une vue panoramique sur une partie de la ville. Le responsable du lieu nous a aidé a trouver une place de parking gratuite.

The location is very central. The staff were polite and communicative and provided a parking spot near the accomodation. The room is fully renovated.

The room is on the ground floor and the beds are under a window facing a mostly pedestrian street. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to go for a different option or use earplugs, as there is quite a lot of noise. There isn’t a lot of natural light and it’s difficult to air out the space, because there is only one window to the outside.

We stayed in Rosemary apartment which is just as shown in the photos. Renovated to a really high standard. Balcony with couch and sun umbrella.  Bed comfy, bathroom great, aircon worked well. Kitchenette very complete. Access to rooftop terrace also. We loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour notre lune de miel. Ils nous avaient fait une surprise en préparant notre chambre pour une nuit romantique. Le confort était optimal, les équipements également. Très bon emplacement. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Exceptional and friendly service with a nice basic breakfast. Laundry was possible with a self service washing machine. The deluxe suite was amazing. Parking was not too far away and in the shade which was a huge bonus.

Établissement en plein milieu de Rethymnon, situé dans une petite ruelle. Pas de parking attitré mais nécessité de contacter un personnel afin qu’il nous montre la place de parking située a 5 minutes a pied de l’établissement. Literie confortable.

Πολύ καλή η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Δεν υπάρχει πάρκινγκ ακριβώς έξω από το κατάλυμα γιατί βρίσκεται μέσα στην Παλιά Πόλη του Ρεθύμνου. Γι'αυτόν τον λόγο ο οικοδεσπότης παραχωρεί δικές του ιδιωτικές θέσεις. Το πάρκινγκ απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά από το κατάλυμα.

The room was amazing, big, comfortable very functional (we had also a private spa). The building is well located, close to everything but quiet. Private parking in 4 mins by foot. The people working here was super nice and full of recommendations. Very recommended

Abbiamo apprezzato la posizione nel cuore della città vecchia e lo stabile storico completamente ristrutturato. La camera era grande e dotata di tutti i comfort. Il self check-in è stato semplice.

Grandissima pecca di questo albergo è il parcheggio. Nei messaggi scambiati con lo staff all'arrivo non sono mai arrivate delle indicazioni su dove mettere l'auto, nonostante lo avessimo chiesto, visto che l'albergo è in zona pedonale. Abbiamo girato la città più volte, durante il soggiorno, alla ricerca di un parcheggio.

Very beautiful apartment in the city center. Just walking out the street we were in the nice streets of the center with plenty of restaurants and shops. The apartment is at walking distance from everything, parking the car was ok thanks to the help of the staff. The staff is very helpful and we had everything we needed. The apartment is extremely nice with comfortable furniture and very elegant design. All was perfect in our stay. Also breakfast was very good.

Posizione comoda, in centro a old town. Camera rinnovata

Camera sulla strada, molto piccola. Per fortuna soggiornavamo solo 1 notte. Non c’era né un balcone né una finestra da poter aprire o stendere le cose bagnate. Non c’era inoltre l’acqua calda per un problema della città (detto così dallo staff) che NON ci è stato segnalato una volta fatto il check in. Ho dovuto cercare il proprietario telefonicamente per avere informazioni sul perché mancasse l’acqua calda . Il problema può esserci sempre, ci mancherebbe, sopratutto se non dipende direttamente dalla struttura, ma al momento del check in avremmo voluto esserne informati, anche perché abbiamo aspettato oltre 1 ora e abbiamo dovuta fare la doccia ghiacciata.

Dimitris and his wife were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely book here again if we come back (and we will). Rooms were cleaned every day. Towels (even beach towels) changed daily. Rooms are well equipped with a little kitchen area with a microwave which came handy when we had to reheat some leftover dinner from the day before. Breakfast was also satisfying and freshly made every morning.

Quarto novo, aconchegante, limpo e muito bem localizado. Próximo a restaurantes e lojinhas. Para quem está de carro, a acomodação oferece uma vaga de garagem a poucos metros da hospedagem.

Scegliete questo B&B per la sua posizione, estremamente vicina a tutti i locali e le cose da vedere nella città storica di Rethymno. La location della strada è molto caratteristica ed è incluso un parcheggio. Il parcheggio è esterno alla città storica e c'è da camminare 5 Min a piedi, bisogna lasciare l'auto per strada benché sia un posto videosorvegliato.

Nonostante sia bello trovarsi al centro, la nostra camera si affacciava direttamente sulla strada e ci separava dalla vista di tutti solo una tenda. Questo ci ha impedito di aprire le finestre, usando tanto il condizionatore presente, cosa che ha reso difficile asciugare i vestiti bagnati. La colazione è abbastanza limitata. Sicuramente per questo prezzo mi aspettavo di più, probabilmente abbiamo pagato molto per la posizione centrale e privilegiata.

Absolument tout ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour ici. La chambre était vraiment très agréable, pratique et fonctionnelle. Ça nous a même fait un petit pincement au cœur de devoir partir.

Ottima posizione nella zona centrale della città. La stanza era praticamente uno studio in quanto aveva anche la parete cucina: era quindi enorme ma era stato dedicato uno spazio minuscolo per appendere gli abiti. Stanza pulita e con asciugamani in abbondanza. Non è una struttura per persone con problemi motori viste le scale da fare per arrivare in stanza o per andare a godere del terrazzo.

In bagno c'era una zona che sembrava una sauna ma non erano presenti istruzioni su come attivarla nè vicino al pannello di comando, nè in alcun libretto di istruzioni della stanza.

A localização , o charme e o acolhimento do Dimitri nosso anfitrião foram excelentes. Dimitri foi cuidadoso em nos auxiliar com o estacionamento, e com todas as nossas necessidades. Adoramos e super recomendamos

We loved the large bed and the pillows, so comfortable. The aircon was great too, really quiet. The curtains and blinds were good and kept the room dark and the bathroom was excellent with a wooden door (why do so many hotels have glass bathroom doors now?) and with a really good, spacious shower. Everything was exceptionally clean.

We didn't like the balcony, which was internal and looked over the stairs, so not at all private although the roof terrace was nice with amazing views. The room wasn't insulated from internal noise as we could hear people talking in the reception area as though in the room but it was well soundproofed from external noise and was quiet at night, but beware if you want an afternoon nap, as we did when we arrived. We didn't like the breakfast room, it was cramped and not easy to serve oneself. The breakfast was just OK.

De ligging en het was een mooie kamer. Tevens goede bedden!

Helaas was er geen plekje om even buiten te zitten. Het ontbijt was matig.

Very helpful staff, great location, very clean and nice toiletries.

Available parking is a 5 min walk away, so it was a bit difficult to carry the luggage. However it makes sense, since there are no cars allowed in the old town. Would help to know a location to come closer to the suites and unload the car before going to the parking.

L’appartement était décoré avec goût. La literie de bonne qualité, la cuisine est un vrai plus. Nous avions accès à 2 terrasses en plein milieu de la vieille ville et c’était incroyable. Cependant vu que c’est dans la vieille ville c’est assez bruyant la nuit surtout en période estivale.

Le petit déjeuner n’était pas à la hauteur de nos attente La place de parking était prévue mais a 5min du logement. Nous avons eu un problème de stationnement le dernier jour ce qui a pressé notre départ.

La struttura è all'interno della parte antica della città. Dotata di ogni comfort.

Abbiamo soggiornato al piano terra quindi a livello della strada senza possibilità di aprire le tende e la finestra.

We had a very enjoyable stay and were very happy with our choice. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and nicely decorated, with a lovely veranda that was perfect for relaxing. Since the property is located in the heart of the Old Town, parking can be challenging, but the host had arranged a nearby parking space for us, which made our arrival and stay much easier. Communication was smooth and helpful throughout, and everything was exactly as described. The room is located on the second floor and there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us, but it may be useful information for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Overall, a great place to stay in an excellent location. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it to other visitors.

Perfect spot at the edge of the old town. Dimitris was an exceptional host - who very kindly send our iPad back to the UK when we accidentally left it in the room! He diligently made sure that it arrived safely and didn’t end up stuck in customs - we really appreciate it!

A very modern and luxurious room which was extremely well equipped. Bathroom facilities were excellent and everything was beautifully clean. The large private balcony with settee and use of rooftop terrace was a bonus. A quiet street in the old town with a 7 minute walk from the bus station. We were met on our arrival and that was very much appreciated.

Situation parfaite dans le vieux Rethymon, proche de tous les bars et restaus sans être dans la foule. Chambre et balcon charmant et hôte très gentil.

Casa del Balsamo is located in the middle of the ancient and beautiful Réthymnon with its pedestrian alleys. It was renovated and offers comfort comparable to a high standard hotel: large rooms, comfortable beds, amenities… all clean and generously offered. A small family hotel, I would love to book again!

Un très bon accueil, un appartement très bien équipé, l'emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville et l'insonorisation qui nous a permis de bien dormir malgré l'appartement au rez-de-chaussée et la rue piétonne devant la fenêtre.

De ligging van Casa Del Balsamo is perfect. Rustig gelegen maar wel op loopafstand van alles. Het is een klein verzorgd complex. Het appartement was ruim en compleet. Ontbijten kan met mooi weer op het dakterras. De eigenaar is een super vriendelijke man.

We hadden een upgrade gedaan voor een andere ( grotere) kamer met Hammam. Deze deed het helaas niet. Ook de eigenaar kreeg hem niet aan de praat. Dit was zonde van de betaalde upgrade. Het balkon is heerlijk maar heeft geen uitzicht.
