Leopard Tree Lodge

Anne-marie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie war auch sehr hilfsbereit bei der Buchung unserer Touren in St Lucia. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Poolblick, das keine Wünsche offen liess. Die Lage und der Garten waren ebenfalls großartig. Wir können die Leopard Tree Lodge in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen.

We stayed here for three nights and we really enjoyed it. The location is great, the staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean and have everything you need.

Place was a very pleasant surprise. The pictures do not do it justice. From the booking, Anne-marie was always available, keeping is updated on the room so we didn't have to wait. Very nice location, away from the town bustle, peace and quiet. Will definitely stay there again

This is by far the best place to stay in St. Lucia. Most impressive is the professional, friendly and incredibly efficient staff and host It really makes the stay extra special with the attention to details. The rooms are pristine and care has been taken to ensure that the rooms are always perfectly presented and have everything needed to make the stay feel like home.

This is the 5th time I have stayed here and every time, everything is superb. From the warmth, hospitality, efficiency and professionalism of the hostess Thea - to the perfectly appointed and stylishly decorated rooms, the many little touches, the location, this place never disappoints.

Een super fijn en mooi appartement. Erg schoon. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie tuin met een prachtig zwembad. Thea is erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar. We hebben het er erg fijn gehad en raden het iedereen aan om vanuit Leopard Tree Lodge st. Lucia en omgeving te verkennen!

The facilities were great and well equipped , Thea was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable.

The rooms were very high standard, very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and made us feel very welcome. They gave us a lowdown of what we could do and made our bookings for us which was invaluable given we only had one full day to explore. Highly recommended.

We felt very comfortable at the accommodation. It’s in a great location, and the staff are incredibly helpful and super friendly—especially Thea. Even though she had already finished her shift for the day, she drove us to see some hippos she had spotted by the roadside; she was truly a lovely and wonderful host. We would definitely book this accommodation again if we return to the area.

We zijn ontzettend gastvrij ontvangen door de manager Thea. Voor we de reis begonnen al contact gehad m.b.t. excursies. Dit was ook perfect geregeld. Voor Thea was niets te gek om te regelen. Voorbeeld is dat ik de sluiting van mn armband kwijt was en zij geregeld heeft dat er een nieuwe werd gevonden. Omdat we niet in de mogelijkheid waren om zelf naar de winkel te gaan, heeft zij de sluiting zelf gehaald bij de shop. Hierdoor hebben wij een zeer ontspannen verblijf gehad. Wij zaten in appartement Hornbill Dit appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben niets gemist. Ik zou iedereen die plannen heeft om naar St Lucia te gaan aanraden hier te verblijven.

La disposition de l’appartement. Il n’y a pas assez d’intimité et la porte de la salle de bain ne permettait vraiment pas d’avoir de l’intimité. Mauvaise isolation.

Camera pulita e accogliente, con cucina super fornita (c’è tutto quello che puoi immaginare!) e letto molto comodo. La manager Thea incredibilmente gentile, ha prenotato prima dell’arrivo il nostro boat tour, ci ha riservato un tavolo al ristorante e dato molto consigli su cosa fare. Bellissima area brai / zona giardino e piscina. Assolutamente consigliato!

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They gave tips and tricks about restaurants and excursions. The barbecues in the lovely garden are ideal for a "braai" evening. The apartment is well equipped and super clean!

La struttura si trova in un punto tranquillo di St Lucia, con un bellissimo spazio esterno molto rilassante. C’è anche la piscina che, purtroppo, non abbiamo avuto modo di usare. La camera era confortevole e con tutto il necessario. Il bagno spazioso e pulito. È disponibile un parcheggio privato e protetto da un cancello, in quanto nel paese la notte possono circolare ippopotami e altri animali. Consigliamo vivamente questa struttura e non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

Aufenthalt war super. Die Küche ist extrem GUT ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Cheffin ist sehr zuvorkommend und beantwortete jede Frage. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber. Aufenthalt war rundherum perfekt.

Alles is super, de host is enorm behulpzaam en de appartementen zijn van alle gemakken voorzien. Modern, schoon en mooi.

Een klein beetje gehorig

Beautiful view over the lake. We had two types of accommodation. A 3 bedroom house and the A frame. The house was very comfortable and although we only stayed one night it is the perfect place for a longer holiday.

The Smell in the A Frame house - due to standing close. We ended up all sleeping in the big house due to the smell.

Mooie kamer op een fijne plek. Eigenaresse denkt mee en is behulpzaam. Verschillende tours van tevoren al via de lodge kunnen boeken.

Via de lodge onze kleren laten wassen. Helaas waren er een aantal sokken kwijtgeraakt.

Prachtig gelegen, veilig en zeer schone, sfeervolle lodge. De manager Thea en haar team zorgen dat alles tot in de puntjes geregeld is en waren zeer ondersteunend in het organiseren van excursies en reserveren van leuke restaurantjes. We zagen de hippos door onze straat, echt uniek. Hier komen we zeer graag terug!

L'emplacement les équipements la gentillesse de Théa très prévenante et toujours disponible. Elle a été d'un grand secours lorsque nous avons eu un problème avec notre voiture de location. L'histoire était réglée quelques heures après. Ces recommandations sont également les bienvenues, notamment dans les excursions. Je recommande+++la sortie bateau sur l'estuaire avec les hippopotames. Un grand souvenir pour nous ❤️🦛

Super logement. Théa nous a super bien accuelli, le logement est spacieux, les équipements sont au top (lits ultra conforts). Il y a une petite piscine dans un cadre très sympa. Possibilité de réserver des excursions, très pratique.

Appartamento superior con balcone molto accogliente e spazioso. Tutto curato nei dettagli. Pulizia ottima. Doccia enorme, acqua caldissima che in questo periodo non guasta. Tornare dopo una giornata intera in giro e trovare una casa accogliente è sicuramente un plus importante. Giornalmente fanno le pulizie e riforniscono con acqua e snack. Staff gentile e disponibile. Per muoverti avrai bisogno dell'auto perché non si trova sulla strada principale di Santa Lucia ma con gli hippo che passeggiano dopo il tramonto, ne avresti comunque bisogno anche se in centro 😀. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

It was just perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had a small seating area and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice. They had a pretty pool area with free bbq places to use. The host was very friendly and helpful. I can just recommend to stay here.

Everything was exceptional though the Hist Thea stood out the most. Made our stay very welcoming from the arrival showing us around the property and providing informative info throughout our stay from places to go & dine etc Also assisted with activities bookings & assistance throughout our stay

Leopard Tree Lodge is a beautiful property and was the highlight of our stay in KZN. Highly recommended. A comfy, spacious, charmingly decorated, spotless apartment; perfectly located for local shops, craft markets, restaurants, beaches and the Wetlands. We've stayed in many apartments on our travels, but this is the only one we've stayed at that provides a large air-fryer in the fully equipped kitchen! Grounds, pool and garden area are an oasis of serene and quiet. Thea was an excellent host. She made contact with us before we arrived, welcomed and showed us around personally; provided a map of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park; arranged the booking for the Estuary river cruise and suggested the best places to shop and dine. Best of all, she alerted us as to when and where the famous 'Townie' Hippos would roam for their nightly foraging.

Lovely spacious and clean room. The pool area is really nice and well maintained, the braai area has a beautiful view looking into the forest. The host is very friendly and happy to assist with any arrangements you need.

Every time one of the neighbours was running water either for a shower or a tap we heard it quite loudly, which isn't a problem during the day, but not ideal in the very early morning... View from our room was disappointing, it faces a roof, but the privacy of our balcony made up for that.

Wir hatten ein modernes Appartement direkt am Pool. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, das Bett bequem und alles war sehr sauber. Der Garten mit Grill ist wunderschön. Thea und Jerry sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Leopard Tree Lodge. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Buchungen von Aktivitäten kann man gleich vor Ort durchführen und man wird auch direkt an der Lodge abgeholt. Die Lage ist schön ruhig mit einem wundervollen Garten und einem tollen Pool. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir versuchen die Zimmer Richtung Pool zu buchen- die sind ein Traum. Unseres war etwas dunkel.

Wir hätten besser ein Zimmer zum Garten hinaus buchen sollen.

Die Unterkunft ist fast neu und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat uns bei allem sehr geholfen. Gerne bald wieder.

Lovely hosts and we got a warm welcome! They also helped us book a boat cruise with a company that uses smaller boats which was exactly what we wanted. Lovely room, clean & spacious. It had everything we needed! Great bed as well. Good location in town and secure parking. Would definitely stay again!

Unser Apartment Robin im ersten Stock war sehr geräumig und hatte eine super ausgestatteten Küchenzeile mit Airfryer und einem Ceranfeld. Wir hatten einen großen überdachten Balkon den wir auch bei Regen nutzen konnten. Die Lodge verfügt über eine schönen Pool und einen ebenso schönen Garten und einen großzügigen Grillbereich. Thea, die uns freundlich empfangen hat, versorgte uns mit allen wichtigen Informationen, und das andere Personal war auch super zuvorkommend. Leider konnten wir nur zwei Tage bleiben, wir hätten sehr gerne verlängert.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk, de accomodatie zelf is mooi en schoon. We verbleven er met een heel fijn gevoel en komen zeker een keer terug.

Dit is echt een pareltje in St Lucia. Gastvrij tijdens het hele verblijf en behulpzaam bij het regelen van activiteiten. We voelden ons er echt “thuis”. Ruim en schoon appartement voor ons gezin (met dagelijks nieuwe spullen waar nodig zoals handdoeken en water). Mooi zwembad en prachtige tuin en Braai. Alles is voorhanden om een paar dagen lekker te genieten. Tot aan een koelbox toe om mee te nemen naar het strand. We hebben een nacht extra bijgeboekt en komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug.

Wat een onwijs gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangst. Er werd met ons meegedacht en rekening gehouden met onze aankomsttijd. De locatie is echt top net alsof je een klein paradijsje binnen komt. Vanaf het begin tot aan het einde voelt het alsof je een warm bad binnenloopt. Iedereen is zo vriendelijk, denkt met je mee en ze laten je zo welkom voelen. Het huisje was superschoon, het rook heel erg fris en alles glom, zo schoon was het. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt in het huisje. Thea, de manager, denkt graag met je mee om je verblijf zo perfect mogelijk te laten verlopen. We hebben ons best gedaan om nog langer te kunnen blijven maar helaas vanwege onze verdere reis was dit niet mogelijk. Maar we komen gegarandeerd weer een keer terug! Zelfs je vertrek voelt als een warme knuffel waar je wordt uitgezwaaid. Iedereen van Leopard tree lodge super bedankt voor dit warme ontvangst en superfijn verblijf.
