A beautiful accommodation in a wonderful town. We were lucky enough to see hippos walking right past the property. We were welcomed by super friendly staff who, among other things, helped us with great restaurant and excursion tips. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection of fresh items and was prepared with a lot of love

Einwandfreies Zimmer, aussergewöhnlich freundliches Personal (Anna hat sogar ein Whatsapp geschickt, um mitzuteilen, wo die Hippos grad zu sehen sind). Frühstück sehr lecker. Alles in allem jederzeit und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Iedereen was zeer behulpzaam, aardig en oprecht geïnteresseerd. Ze hebben ons met alles geholpen waar we om vroegen, van het boeken tot een bootsafari tot aan het krijgen van een heerlijke ontbijtbox toen we erg vroeg naar Hluhluwe vertrokken. Ook het ontbijt wat we daar genuttigd hebben was heerlijk. Kortom een heerlijk verblijf waar niets op valt aan te merken.

I had a wonderful stay at this lodge. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The lodge has a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Everything was well organised, and the service was excellent. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and how accommodating the staff were throughout my stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and enjoyable place to stay. I would happily come back again! ❤️

We had a great two nights stay at Leopard lodge, the rooms are big and nicely decorated, everything is spotless. Breakfast is very good, with fresh stuff and excellent omelettes. The service of the staff is perfect, Anna was very helpful with us and provided usefulf information about the area.

Heerlijk ontbijt, prima bedden en goede douche.

Er viel niets tegen. Als ik een tip mag geven zou ik de huisparfum aanpassen in een frisse lucht. Wij vonden het erg naar alcohol ruiken ;-)

Dit is echt zo een geheim adresje waar je graag nog wat langer zou willen blijven. De gastvrouw ( Anna) is echt supervriendelijk en steeds bereid om te helpen met tips voor restaurants en andere activiteiten. Anna regelde ons paardrijden en ook de boottocht naar de nijlpaarden. We kregen hier een heel lekker ontbijt. We hadden een grote familiekamer die zeer comfortabel was. Een aanrader om te verblijven in St. Lucia.

Une chambre très propre et confortable dans un lieu paisible. L’accueil par Anna et son personnel est chaleureux et attentionné, jusque dans les moindres détails. Nous avons été touché par sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance. Elle a également été de très bons conseils notamment sur le choix des restaurants en ville pour voir les hippos. Le petit déjeuner en buffet est copieux, varié et de qualité. Ce fut un plaisir ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au Léopard Corner Lodge. La manager a été de très bon conseil pour la visite des alentours, le petit déjeuner est excellent, et l'emplacement idéal. C'est une bonne adresse !

Anna is een droom om je te ontvangen en je thuis te laten voelen. Ze zei zelf dat haar klanten voor haar alles betekenen en dat is zo. Topgastvrouw. Het ontbijt is royaal, de kamers zijn uiterst proper en mooi ingericht. Topverblijf.

In de kleinste kamer hoorde je wel doorheen de nacht vermoedelijk de airco unit van naastgelegen kamers aan- en afslaan, maar op zich niet danig storend.

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding – every morning it was prepared with great care and attention to detail, and everything was delicious. A special thank you to Anna, who gave us such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. She always made sure that everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Her kindness, hospitality, and dedication truly made a difference. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santa Lucia and would happily stay here again!

De lodge ligt op een mooie en rustige locatie! De vriendelijkheid en het goede ontbijt bevielen ons zeer goed!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Lodge. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und sehr abwechslungsreich. Anna hat sich sehr gut um alles gekümmert und uns auch noch eine Bootstour für den nächsten Tag gebucht.

Wir haben leider kein Flusspferd in der Stadt gesehen, aber dafür kann die Lodge nichts.

Hele mooie lodge en fijne, schone kamer. Aardig personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Aan alles is gedacht. Zelfs aan muffins voor onderweg naar het vliegveld. Er werd alles aan gedaan om gasten een fijn verblijf te verzorgen. Jammer dat wij er maar 1 nachtje waren. Als we weer naar St. Lucia gaan zouden we hier zeker terugkomen.

De service van Anna, de host ter plaatse was geweldig. Het terras tussen de tropische planten was bijzonder rustgevend en we kregen een aantal kleurrijke vogels er gratis bij😀.

Die Leopard Corner Lodge ist eine ausgezeichnete Wahl, um St. Lucia und den iSimangaliso Wetland Park zu erkunden. Die Lodge liegt ruhig am Waldrand und gleichzeitig nur wenige Gehminuten von Restaurants und Geschäften entfernt – ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Anna. Mit ihrer herzlichen Art hat sie uns sofort willkommen geheißen und für uns eine fantastische Safari organisiert, die zu den Höhepunkten unserer Reise gehörte. Solch engagierte Gastgeber machen den Unterschied. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr geräumig, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Das Frühstück war frisch, abwechslungsreich und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. St. Lucia selbst ist sicherlich touristischer als viele andere Orte entlang der Garden Route oder der Wild Coast. Was den Ort jedoch absolut einzigartig macht, sind die Flusspferde, die nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit ganz selbstverständlich durch die Straßen ziehen. Dieses beeindruckende Naturschauspiel erlebt man weltweit nur an diesem Ort und es wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Als Tor zum iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Südafrikas erstem UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe, ist St. Lucia ein Paradies für Natur- und Tierliebhaber.

Den Pool konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, da das Wasser im südafrikanischen Winter sehr kalt war – dieses Thema haben wir allerdings auch in anderen Unterkünften erlebt und würden es daher nicht speziell der Lodge anlasten. Außerdem hätten die Zimmer an den kühleren Winterabenden etwas wärmer sein dürfen. Das hat unseren insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck jedoch nur geringfügig beeinflusst.

De locatie was vlakbij zowel het centrum straatje als bij het boat cruise vertrek punt. Ideaal! De ontvangst en de zorg van Anna tijdens ons verblijf waren fenomenaal. Ze zorgde ervoor dat het ons aan niks ontbrak en stond altijd voor ons klaar als we vragen hadden. Het ontbijt was heerlijk met genoeg keuze voor iedereen en alles lekker vers. We genoten van onze kamer met bubbelbad en uiteraard van ons hele verblijf. We zouden zeker terugkomen! Mede ook voor Anna, zo gastvrij en vriendelijk! Het was fantastisch!

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ruhige Lage, fussläufig zum Jetty und den Restaurants. Beach 30 min zu Fuß. Nach Sonnenuntergang mit dem Auto. Anna ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Sie organisierte uns alle Ausflüge problemlos und schaut auch sonst dass man absolut zufrieden ist!

Lovely boutique type hotel in a quiet part of St Lucia. Our room was spacious, clean, with a comfy bed and loads of storage. Breakfast was amazing! Some lovely touches like a cool box to take to the beach - the staff gave us ice blocks. The staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Anna arranged some tours for us beforehand and communication was prompt and friendly. Breakfast is outside which was accompanied by monkeys every day - very entertaining!! A really fabulous stay thank you!

Nothing really. The room was billed as a “garden view with patio” which was a very generous description of a small area with a view of a fence!

Frühstück war sehr gut, musste am Vortag ausgewählt werden. Lage ist außerhalb vom Zentrum, ruhig gelegen dennoch sehr nah an allen Attraktionen und Aktivitäten. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Apen, everzwijnen (bij de accommodatie) en nijlpaarden (in het dorp) gezien. Ontbijt was uitstekend.

The hostess Anna was really wonderful. The breakfasts were really great. And the little take-away muffin we got when we left was such a wonderful touch. We were also given cooler box with ice when we said we wanted to go to Cape Vidal for the afternoon when work finished early. It was very thoughtful as you cannot buy anthing once at Cape Vidal.

The Hostess, Anna, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay in St Lucia. She helped us with our activity bookings, gave us great recommendations for dining and Hippo spotting. The rooms were spacious and clean and the made to order breakfast was delicious.

Peacefully positioned against the forest away from the touristy drag. Breakfasts were fresh, varied and abundant. Loved the little touches, from the sherry in the room to padkos on departure. Anna booked our tours for us, which meant we didn’t have to lift a finger. Wonderful hospitality - just wish we’d been able to stay longer.

We would have loved having our own patio rather than having to share. And lots of security lights which made everything safe but very bright at night. Felt quite shut in as a result as we kept everything closed rather than enjoying the space and surrounds. Next time we’ll try the forest view side, though those balconies look like they might be shared too.

The staff was 100% unaccommodating and unresponsive to requests. telephonically they agreed to move. Via the Booking.com app they refused. My son in law passed away, it was his funeral on the day we had to check in. They bluntly refused to postpone out booking with 2 weeks, although we agreed to pay the shortfall, should there be any.

We had a wonderful stay at Leopard Corner Lodge. Anna was so welcoming and extremely helpful. She gave us lots of information about the area and pointed out things to do and places to eat. The breakfast choices were fantastic and extremely tasty. The room facilities were excellent and the room itself was lovely

Hier kann man einfach nur sagen top! Anna hat bei meiner Anreise unterwegs dafür gesorgt, dass ich noch eine hippo-tour machen konnte und diese gebucht. (Zeit wurde knapp). Gute Erklärung was alles gemacht werden konnte und Tipps. Einfach so weitermachen, solche Übernachtungen wünscht man sich.

Ein schönes Appartement und die super nette Gastgeberin Anna machten unseren Aufenthalt in St. Lucia perfekt. Anna ist jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar. Der iSimangaliso Park ist quasi vor der Tür. Zum Hluluwe Imfolozi Park fährt man eine Stunde. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Sunset Boat Cruise zu den Hippos, den Anna für uns organisiert hat.

Sehr herzliches Personal. Vor allem die Managerin Anna ist super hilfsbereit und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und hat alles was man braucht.

Some of the rooms open to the corridor with a glass door, and light may come in. Thick curtains help with this, but a non-transparent door would be better.

Heerlijke kamers, van alle gemakken voorzien! Enorm schoon en Anna en haar team staat altijd voor je klaar. Voor alle vragen kan je bij ze terecht. Ook faciliteren ze in een koelbox met koelelementen en een handdoek voor het strand. Verder boekte ze voor ons 2 enorm toffe excursies en was het ontbijt echt geweldig lekker en uitgebreid. Dikke aanrader!

De hosts zijn mega vriendelijk. Ze willen je overal mee helpen en geen vraag is ze teveel. Ook helpen ze je graag met het boeken van activiteiten. Wij vonden de safari in Hwuhule echt fantastisch! Ze zijn er geïnteresseerd. Het zwembad is niet groot maar de stoelen waren heerlijk in de zon, zelfs later op de middag. Ontbijt is zowel een klein zoet buffet als iedere dag eieren of engels ontbijt naar wens. Echt heerlijk! Super bedankt ook voor de muffins voor onderweg en het traditonele gerecht om te proberen bij het ontbijt

Voor een 10 zou de badkamer een update mogen krijgen

Outstanding service from Anna and her staff. The accommodation was perfect and spotlessly clean. This was the ideal start to our "Anniversary" week away and we were made to feel very special. Anna's recommendations for restaurants in the area was on point and I can highly recommend Barraca for great food. The breakfast spread was outstanding and the farewell gift of cakes for our onward drive was really special. Will be back for sure!!!

Een mooie, kleinschalige lodge. Alle lodges liggen dicht in het centrum. De eigenaresse weet wel hoe je mensen welkom moet heten. Ze zorgt goed voor je. Het ontbijt is fantastisch! Een aanrader als je een paar dagen in St. Lucia bent. Het plaatsje zelf is leuk, maar wel leuk als je dingen gaat ondernemen. Wij deden bijv. de boottocht om krokodillen en nijlpaarden te zien (met kinderen). Ook een aanrader.

Hele fijne accomodatie, zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, doet alles om je het naar de zin te maken. Ontbijt is heerlijk, fijn klein zwembadje. Bij een vroege excursie of vroege check-out wordt er een heerlijk ontbijtpakket klaar gemaakt.

Fijne host en vriendelijk personeel. Locatie is perfect, je bent overal binnen een paar minuten. Hele fijne kamer met een bad en je kan de auto vlakbij parkeren, het is een erg veilig dorpje.

Er kunnen aapjes komen tijdens het ontbijt, maar er wordt gezorgd door het personeel dat je er zo min mogelijk last van hebt.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin Anna, von der wir sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen wurden. Die Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Umgebung ist mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Auto steht gesichert im Innenhof. Am Morgen gibt es ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit reichhaltiger Auswahl, sowie frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen nach Wunsch. Die Angestellten sind ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Anna stand jederzeit für Informationen und eventuelle Fragen zur Verfügung.

De locatie en het personeel. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben een erg fijne tijd gehad. Het ontbijt is er lekker. Je hebt keuze uit verschillende dingen en elke dag is het weer een feestje. Waldo is een aardige kerel met een dosis sociale intelligentie. St. Lucia ligt super handig. Je kunt makkelijk naar Hluhluwe, Cape Vidal en het Isimangaliso wetland park bezoeken. Aanraders: Bhangazi horses, Cape Vidal (must) én John Dory's en de Ski Boat club voor een pizza hmmmm!!

Sehr gepflegte und ruhige Unterkunft in in einer reinen Wohngegend von St. Lucia mit schön angelegtem Garten, der gelegentlich auch von Affen besucht wurde. Das Zimmer war ansprechend eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem, das Bad war funktionell ausgestattet, alles war sehr sauber. Die technische Ausstattung und WLAN waren gut, der Parkplatz am Haus war gesichert und videoüberwacht. Das Frühstück wurde auf der Terrasse am Hauptgebäude im Freien serviert und war hinsichtlich Qualität und Quantität sehr gut. Wir wurden von Waldo und Anna sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen, sie gaben uns auch gute Tipps und halfen uns bei der Organisation von zwei Touren. Auch das andere Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Besonderes Highlight während unseres Aufenthalts war das Beobachten eines Flusspferdes, das am Abend direkt an der Terrasse unseres Raums in aller Ruhe grasend vorbeimarschierte. Wir haben uns in der Leopard Corner Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Wir hatten einen traumhaft schönen Aufenthalt. Alles war absolut top! Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt.
