Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame Colin, de eigenaar. Mooi oud huis in Engelse stijl. Ontbijt prima met vers gebakken omelet naar keuze. Auto wordt meteen gewassen als er een beetje viezigheid op zit. Prima 2 grote kamers, douche ook prima.

L'accueil de Colin en français, toutes ses conseils personnalisés sur les activités et les restaurants. le petit-déjeuner exceptionnel je recommande aux gourmands l'omelette et les bananes caramélisées sur une gaufre.

Le B&B est de grande qualité. Les chambres sont très confortables et le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Le propriétaire vous accueillera avec le sourire et vous donnera toutes les informations nécessaires sur la région ainsi que sur les meilleurs endroits où manger.

Mooie lodge en wij hadden een mooie grote kamer. Colin is een fijne en goede gastheer. Staat altijd voor je klaar. Het ontbijt was super goed en aan alles is gedacht.

Sehr freundlicher und herzliche Gastgeber, wir haben uns allgemein sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr gutes Frühstück und gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Colin hat uns schon vor der Ankunft mit Informationen versehen. Uns wurden verschiedene Aktivitäten und ehrliche Empfehlungen zu den Restaurants vorgeschlagen. Colin und seine Frau haben ein Auge fürs Detail!

Wir wären froh gewesen, wenn die Betten ein wenig weicher gewesen wären, diese waren für uns persönlich etwas hart. Der Filterkaffee war nicht so unser Ding, scheint aber Standard zu sein in SA.

Everything was perfect.

Al voor onze aankomst hadden we veel info doorgekregen van onze host, die ons met open armen verwelkomde op een prachtige locatie. HEt ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk. En elke ochtend kreeg onze huurwagen een gratis wasbeurt door de tuinman

Collins, l’hôte de la maison est très accueillant et plein de bons conseils. En plus, il parle parfaitement français! La chambre était très confortable et le jardin est magnifique. St Lucia est une petite ville qui a beaucoup d’attractions autour. Un conseil: passer au moins 3 nuits à St Lucia Wetlands Guesthouse, vous ne vous ennuierez pas.

Das Gästehaus ist top ausgestattet, die Zimmer sind groß, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Hausherren sind sehr zuvorkommend und geben tolle Tips für die Aktivitäten die rund um St. Lucia unternommen werden können. Hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Die Lage ist zentral und sicher. Das Frühstück ist umfassend und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Sehr üppig und es hat an Nichts gemangelt. Excellenter Service, stets hilsbereit und freundlich und immer ansprechbar bei Sonderwünschen. Sehr nettes AdOn: bei der abendlichen Rückkehr vom Essen in der Stadt stand immer ein Port oder Sherry als Absacker bereit. Eine sehr nette Geste! Der Garten ist ein Pflanzen- und Vogelparadies. FürDeutsche ungewöhnlich: Morgens war das Auto stets frisch gewaschen (wobei: das wäre nicht nötig gewesen)....

Es gibt nichts zu meckern... Und für die zudringlichen Meerkatzen ist die Unterkunft nicht verantwortlich.

This has to be one of the most memorable stays my family and I have had. Colin is an exceptional host and I can’t recommend him and his beautiful home enough!! From the minute we walked in, he made us feel at welcome. He spent time with us to help us plan out our 3 days in St Lucia. His communication was exceptional and very detailed, which started before we even arrived in St Lucia. His knowledge of the area helped us tremendously as we planned out the activities and meals in St Lucia. He even went out of his way to get cakes to celebrate our daughter’s 13th birthday. We enjoyed the game drives and the town. Unfortunately, we had a tire puncture whilst on a self drive safari, not only did he change the tire for us, he helped us to navigate on what to do next. In the words of my 7 year old, “I love this place because Colin makes everything funnier” I cannot recommend St Lucia Wetlands Guesthouse and Colin enough. He’s an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING host!!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Wetlands Guest House in St. Lucia. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber und Betreiber Collin. Er ist außerordentlich freundlich, aufmerksam und kümmert sich mit viel Herzblut um jeden einzelnen Gast. Man spürt sofort, dass ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Collin war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat uns mit seinen hervorragenden Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung sehr geholfen. Seine Empfehlungen waren stets ausgezeichnet und haben unseren Aufenthalt deutlich bereichert. Das Guest House ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig gelegen und bietet eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Dank Collins Gastfreundschaft haben wir uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir können das Wetlands Guest House uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. What a lovely place ! It’s always good when a place exceeds expectations and St Lucia Wetlands certainly did. We were met on arrival by Colin, offered refreshments and given lots of information to make our stay in St Lucia great. The guest house is set in beautiful tropical grounds and is immaculate and comfortable throughout. The hardwood floors are beautiful. Our room was large with a big comfortable bed and lots of amenities. Breakfast was exceptional, so much choice. We had an early start on our check out day, we were the only guests for breakfast on that morning as others had left early on a safari, and Colin provided a lovely spread just for the two of us. He definitely goes the extra mile. St Lucia is a unique little town, definitely worth a visit and this is the place to stay. Thank you Colin, Natalie and team.

La situation, la gentillesse de l’accueil, le côté très prévenant de l’ensemble du personnel et la qualité du petit déjeuner. Le gérant est polyglotte et d’une disponibilité fantastique.

Everything! A beautiful guesthouse, and the owners were lovely - they couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was also amazing! We won’t hesitate to stay here again if we return to St Lucia.

Mooie schone kamers, leuke tuin met veel planten. Onze kinderen hebben nog gezwommen. De gastheer Collin was erg aardig en heeft veel tips gegeven! We kregen snorkels mee en een koelbox die we konden vullen voor het dagje naar het iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Het ontbijt was supergoed en vers! En ook het ontbijt, wat we mee kregen in een koelbox, toen we naar het Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park gingen was heel goed! ‘s Avonds kwamen de nijlpaarden door de straten lopen. Tip: neem een zaklamp mee.

Провели 3 ночи в этом замечательном доме - остались только теплые впечатления. Атмосфера очень душевная и спокойная- идеальное место , чтобы отдохнуть и перезагрузиться. Отдельно хочется отметить хозяина Колина - невероятно гостеприимный, внимательный и искренний человек, благодаря которому чувствуешь себя не просто гостем, а почти как дома. Кухня - отдельное удовольствие: все очень вкусно, изысканно и с душой. Чувствуется внимание к деталям и забота о гостях.

Было очень много комаров в Сент-Лусии ( март) - берите спрей и пастилки от комаров.

zeer ruime kamer met goede bedden, alles is brandschoon. we werden vriendelijk onthaald met een gratis welkomstdrankje, ook 's avonds kon je nog een stukje fruit of een drankje nemen in het gemeenschappelijke salon. alles ademt een klassieke, Engelse sfeer. het ontbijt is uitgebreid en zeer lekker. het zwembad was proper en omringd met weelderige mooie planten en palmbomen, een stukje paradijs. we mochten ook kosteloos snorkelmateriaal gebruiken.

De gastvrije ontvangst door Collin was geweldig. Hij nam de tijd om alles goed uit te leggen en ons rond te leiden. Ook kregen we meteen tips voor goede restaurants en activiteiten. De kamers waren ruim en het ontbijt was erg goed.

Gastgeber Colin schafft es hervorragend, seinen Gästen das Gefühl zu vermitteln. willkommen zu sein. Sehr nette Atmosphäre, beeindruckendes Haus voller Charakter. Überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Team. Prima Frühstück. Jederzeit gerne wieder:)

Sehr schönes guest house, durchgängiger still. Toller service. Super zuvorkommender Gastgeber, sehr unterstützend bei jeder Fragestellung.

Es gibt wohl sehr viele schöne Unterkünfte in St. Lucia. Diese gehört ohne Zweifel dazu. Aber die vielen kleinen Dinge die hier dazukamen, machten den Unterschied. Wir hatten einen wunderenbaren Aufenthalt und eine sehr schöne Zeit hier. DANKE Colin!

Wunderschönes Guesthouse in einem tollen Garten. Colin ist ein aufmerksamer und herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich perfekt um seine Gäste kümmert und mit vielen Ratschlägen unterstützt. Zu unserer frühen Abreise bekamen wir noch ein großes Lunchpaket mit auf den Weg. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Guesthouse ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen.

Leider war die Zeit mit 2 Nächten viel zu kurz.

Eine super liebevolle außergewöhnliche Betreuung und Hilfsbereitschaft durch die Gastgeber! Das Haus hat eine sehr stilvolle Atmosphäre und einen wunderschöne Gartenanlage mit tollen Palmen!

Dass wir leider nicht länger bleiben konnten.

Het is een heerlijke plek om te verblijven, met een uitermate vriendelijke eigenaar Colin. Met een fikse dosis humor doet hij zijn best het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Spreekt veel talen, doet gewoon ontzettend zijn best.

De airco hing boven het hoofdeind van het bed, waardoor het best koud kon worden in de nacht. Wij hebben met een handdoek de flow van koude lucht een beetje omgebogen, daarmee was het een stuk beter te doen.

Een perfecte gastheer in een perfecte setting: geweldig mooi huis met prachtige kamers. Colin gaf heel goede informatie, hielp met boeken boottrip en zorgde op n ontspannen en gezellige manier voor alles. En als bonus ook nog alles gesproken in het zuid Afrikaans/Nederlands. Voor ons t mooiste verblijf in Zuid Afrika

St. Lucia Wetlands Guest House was one of our favorites location to stay. The place is amazing and I recommend it to everyone. Colin and his wife are great people. They helped us with booking some of St. Lucia attractions and gave us valuable advice about what and when we should go. It’s 10 out of 10.

Colin was de meest vriendelijke gastheer die je kan wensen. Hij nam telkens de tijd voor ons en is oprecht geïnteresseerd in mensen. De kamers waren heel erg schoon, mooi en comfortabel. Prachtige tuin die goed onderhouden wordt. Heerlijk zwembad en het ontbijt was echt fantastisch. Het beste dat wij op onze reis door Zuid Afrika hebben gehad. Bedankt voor deze fijne ervaring!

Das Wetlands Guest House befindet sich in einem ruhigen, attraktiven Villenviertel von St. Lucia. Es ist von einem zauberhaften, tropischen Garten umgeben. Unser Zimmer verfügte über ein superbequemes Kingsize Himmelbett, stilvolles Mobiliar, ausreichend Schrankkapazität, ein schickes großes modernes Bad und einen hübschen Balkon mit Blick ins Grün und den Pool. Das Frühstück ist unglaublich vielfältig und kaum zu toppen! Man wird durch eine große Auswahl an Früchten, Käse, Schinken, Eierspeisen, diversen Brotsorten, Kuchen, Cerealien etc. verwöhnt und darf auf der hübschen Terrasse in den Tag starten. Der Service ist erstklassig! Colin und Nathalie sind aufmerksame, charmante und liebenswerte Gastgeber. Das Personal ist großartig, das Interieur stilvoll und gemütlich. Diese Unterkunft gehörten zu den besten, die wir auf unseren zahlreichen Reisen je angetroffen haben!

We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We received a warm welcome and were allowed to check into our room well before check-in time. The fantastic room with a view of the garden and pool blew us away. Colin is an incredibly friendly host, gave us great tips to explore St. Lucia and was always up for a chat. The breakfast was amazing, with everything your heart could desire, even wholemeal bread, which is very rare in South Africa. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the St. Lucia Wetlands Guesthouse to others.

Pidin kaikesta tässä majoituksessa! Huone oli upea, siellä oli parveke ja mahtava vaatehuone, huone oli myös tilava, sekä erittäin hyvin siivottu. Henkilökunta teki kaikkensa, että vierailumme onnistuisi mahdollisimman hyvin. Vinkit ja neuvot retkille oli erittäin hyödyllisiä ja lisäksi kylmälaukut, snorkkelit ym sai lainata hotellilta. Puutarha oli todella kaunis ja sijainti loistava. Kylä kävelymatkan päässä. Aamiainen oli ensiluokkainen.

Second-generation family business with magnificent tropical vegetation and top-notch facilities. A wonderful, attentive, and very helpful host. A perfect welcome, with wine, lovely chat, personalized tips and useful information. Colin makes you feel like a unique and special guest. Super comfortable beds with a delicious breakfast. I was most impressed by the detailed communication/messages beforehand and the individual attention to guest and attention to details. Pleasant atmosphere with good vibes, definitly a recommendation for 2-3 nights.

Wer ein schönes, ansprechendes Guesthouse mit einer tollen persönlichen Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier richtig aufgehoben! Der Gastgeber Colin hat uns super viele Tipps gegeben, war extrem hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend! Besser geht es nicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and a very friendly and warm host's.

This place was even more beautiful than in the pictures. I loved my room and balcony. There was a mosquito net and a separate dressing room. I had the room above the pool. The garden is beautiful and there is enough parking for the guests. The lounge/bar area is lovely. They have an honesty bar with complementary sherry for the guests. Breakfast was good. They washed everyone's car on the day I checked out which was a really nice surprise. I would definitely come back here if I return to St.Lucia.

There were just a few tiny things. There was only one place in my room to charge my phone and Ipad being in the dressing room. There is no socket next to the bed nor in the bathroom. You needed to open the door using both hands. The dressing room only have net curtains so in the evening everyone can see you if they look up and inside.

Det var ett utmärkt guesthouse med inte minst en fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam värd Colin som tog hand om gästerna på ett utomordentligt sätt och gav massor av tips på olika aktiviteter. Man upplevde att han var genuint intresserad och engagerad i alla dem som bodde på guesthouset.

Allt var bra. Finns inget att anmärka på.

I arrived early on a hot day to be met by the owner. Within moments I was enjoying a cold beer while he explained all of the local amenities and suggested a couple of good walks for me. Meanwhile a member of his staff was already washing my car! Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. I will certainly return to this spot. Thank you.

Super Ausgangspunkt für eine kleine Safari im iSmangaliso Wetpark. Haben unsere big 5 mit Leopard und Rino completed. Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Nous avons tout aimé dans cet établissement , Colin est une personne adorable, sa maison est juste fabuleuse, décorée avec énormément de goût. Un super accueil, in French svp 🤩, il nous a donné tout plein de conseils pour la suite de notre voyage. Un seul regret : être resté qu’une seule nuit 🥲. Ahhhhh j’allais oublier : petit déjeuner incroyable . Cette hôtel mérite 10/10 laaaaargement.

I highly recommend this accommodation. The place is full of authenticity, history, and character. Colin, our host, was truly exceptional : attentive, welcoming, and always ready with great advice. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of, which is so rare and much appreciated. Our suite was very comfortable, with direct access to the pool, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our stay was perfect, and the quality of service far exceeded that of many other places we’ve stayed in South Africa and beyond. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!

Grandioses Anwesen, in altem Kolonialstil, super tropischer Garten, schönes Zimmer mit tollem Bett, klasse Bad, angenehme Aufenthaltsräume, bestes, reichhaltiges Frühstück auf schöner Terrasse. Der Inhaber Colin ist ein richtiger Kümmerer, gibt gute Tipps im voraus zur Planung, berät täglich, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben.

La maison est incroyable. Le propriétaire a conservé son aspect historique et l'a décoré avec goût. L'hôtel est vraiment très agréable et aux petits soins pour ses clients. Très beau séjour. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable aussi.

Exceptionnel, tout est exceptionnel dans la guest house de Colin y compris lui même. Un gentlemen d’une classe rare avec un accueil et des attentions de tous les moments, des conseils subtils, avisés et précis sur ce qu’il y a à voir ou à faire. C est un Érudit qui maîtrise parfaitement le Français. La maison est magnifiquement décorée avec un jardin à faire rêver le plus exigeant des jardiniers. Un petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Un personnel d une totale discrétion, d une gentilesse et d’une efficacité remarquable. C est une étape de celles qui laissera à n’en pas douter un superbe souvenir de votre passage à st Lucia et en Afrique du Sud.
