La struttura è architettonicamente molto bella e si trova a poca distanza dal centro di UBud. Comoda la colazione servita direttamente sul balcone della propria stanza e in tempi rapidi, poiché si prenota già la sera prima. Abbiamo provato il massaggio ed è stato soddisfacente.

L’odore all’interno della stanza non era piacevole inoltre abbiamo trovato federe umide, quasi bagnate e asciugamani che dovevano essere puliti pieni di macchie gialle capelli di altre persone.

Veľmi príjemný a ochotný personál, skvelé raňajky, večerali sme na ubytovaní za veľmi dobré ceny, chutné jedlo, bývali sme vo vile, ktorá bola v typickom balijskom štýle, pán majiteľ skvelý milý človek. Boli sme nadmieru spokojní

The room was great and spacious, the hotel has lots of greenery and offered a good breakfast. The pool was also nice and big. It is walking distance to town, but far enough out that it doesn't feel super busy.

L’emplacement parfait, l’équipe dynamique et souriante , la décoration , c’est un lieux chargé de belles énergies et construit avec beaucoup de goût. La ville et les commerces sont accessibles à pied si vous avez de l’énergie car c’est situé sur le haut de Ubud. Au cas contraire les transport sont très accessibles, grab etc … Notre chambre était légèrement bruyante le matin à cause de la route mais peu importe car vous vous lèverez tôt pour aller à l’aventure ! 😎

I like how beautiful the property is and how quiet it was. The rooms are beautiful and spacious.

I didn’t like the shower it was water everywhere maybe the drain needs to be cleaned out. Food could be better.

The location was perfect — far enough away from the intensity and busyness of Ubud to feel peaceful and secluded, yet still close enough to easily enjoy everything the area has to offer. The place itself was truly magical. The architecture and construction were absolutely beautiful, and the view from our room overlooking the forest was simply stunning. Every detail in the room was lovely, including the bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were always incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay such a wonderful experience!

Just a small suggestion: it would be great to have a plant-based milk option available at the restaurants, as well as sweetener. Many international guests tend to use sweetener instead of sugar, so having these options would be a nice addition.

Tres bel hotel, authentique (style Balinais) et vue plongeante sur la jungle depuis la piscine et la salle du petit dejeuner.

La chambre qui nous a ete attribuée a notre arrivee etait bruyante et vétuste. Suite a notre demande, une autre chambre nous a ete affectee de maniere tres comprehensive et aimable.

The grounds look just like the pictures. We had a Royal Villa and it was pretty.

The let down was comfort. Mattress, linens, pillows, and towels were all poor quality as was the soap and shampoo. Sometimes no pool towels and when they did, they were tiny and mismatched. It’s hard to enjoy a pool day sitting on hot vinyl loungers with tiny or no towels.

Hôtel charmant avec des maisons individuels typiques de Bali, un peu à l'écart du centre d'Ubud ce qui a l'avantage qu'il soit au calme mais il faut prendre un taxi pour se déplacer et intégrer qu'il y a beaucoup de circulation dans les environs. Piscine très sympa au milieu de la nature. Petit déjeuner servi sur sa terrasse ce qui est très agréable. Grande chambre familiale pour voyager avec des enfants.

The pictures shown while we made the booking were of a different room. We had to see so many rooms right when we arrived, which was hectic, the bathtub they had shown in the pictures is not even there. But later they helped us move to their newer property which was better.

What truly made our trip unforgettable, though, was the attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, without ever infringing on our privacy. We left feeling completely refreshed and cannot wait to return!

El wifi no funcionaba nunca. Poca luz en las habitaciones, gekos dentro de las villas y muchos insectos dentro de las habitaciones normales. Nos fuimos llenas de picaduras.

Las zonas comunes son bastantes bonitas , la piscina y las vistas son preciosas , la comida también está buena y el personal es muy muy servicial y amable

Se nota que le falta mantenimiento , no es fiel a las fotos , las “casitas” es decir la habitación más cara parece más grande y limpia ( reluciente ) en las fotos, todo está demasiado viejo, el aire acondicionado hacía muchísimo ruido y la limpieza no era la adecuada … sobre todo en el servicio ..

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa villa per 7 notti durante il nostro viaggio a Ubud e nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene. La villa era molto spaziosa e confortevole, ideale per rilassarsi dopo le giornate trascorse a esplorare Bali. La struttura dispone anche di una piscina, un piacevole valore aggiunto. Un punto di forza è sicuramente lo staff: tutti sono stati estremamente gentili, disponibili e pronti ad aiutarci per qualsiasi necessità durante il soggiorno. La struttura offre inoltre diversi servizi aggiuntivi, come il noleggio scooter, lezioni per preparare i canang sari e cooking class. Si tratta di servizi comodi per chi preferisce organizzare tutto direttamente in struttura. Personalmente, però, abbiamo scelto di usufruire di attività e noleggi esterni per una questione di convenienza economica.

Per quanto riguarda gli aspetti migliorabili, abbiamo trovato l’acqua della piscina un po’ fredda rispetto alle nostre aspettative, rendendola meno piacevole per fare il bagno. Inoltre, in camera era presente un po’ di polvere, anche se abbiamo notato che questo aspetto è piuttosto comune in molte strutture a Bali. Nel complesso, è stata un’esperienza positiva e consigliamo questa struttura a chi cerca una villa spaziosa con uno staff accogliente a Ubud.

We really enjoyed staying at Ketut. The room was very nice, the breakfast tasty and the staff was very very nice . If we ever get a chance to come back to Bali, for sure we will stay here .

Todo muy lindo! el lugar, el personal, el desayuno, la pileta. Yo estuve en un a de sus villas y la verdad hermosa, bien tradicional su fachada y adentro moderna.

Solo se podria mejorar la comunicacion, durante mi estadia no habia internet y nadie me aviso cuando llegue ni me dieron solucion alguna.

Tranquil location if you have a room further from the street. Felt like an authentic Bali homestay - a must do while in Ubud. Glad to have come across this gem.

The staff were all very friendly and the inclusive breakfast was very good.

Our room, 103 was next to a very busy road so was very noisy. We did not have WiFi for 3 days, the water did not work for several hours and our air conditioner poured water out everywhere. When we raised these things, they were not taken seriously.

The bed was very hard. Only 1 pillow, be good to have a couple to choose from. Our room was located next to a water fountain that was on all night and was noisy.

Kututs Palace Cottages offers a genuinely peaceful retreat that feels removed from the busier parts of Ubud while still being conveniently close to plenty of dining options. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, traditional Balinese architecture, and a calm, tucked-away atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and relax. The cottages themselves are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a traditional aesthetic. I even had a Buddha statue in my room, which allowed me to make daily offerings. It’s clear that care has been taken to preserve the character of the space while still providing the essentials for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the porch in the morning or evening, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature, was one of the highlights. The pool area deserves special mention—it’s quiet, well-kept, and never felt crowded. It’s an ideal place to unwind after a day exploring Ubud, whether you want to swim or simply relax with a book. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They were especially helpful with arranging transportation and offering recommendations, which made the stay feel easy and well-supported. They connected us with a personal guide, Dewa Okta, who tailored activities for both my daughter and me. He shared insights into Balinese culture throughout our time together, deepening our appreciation for their strong family values. He even created videos of our experiences—something we’ll treasure for years. We enjoyed our time with him so much that we joked about attending his wedding someday. Overall, Kututs Palace Cottages strikes a wonderful balance between comfort, authenticity, and tranquility. It’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for a quieter, more traditional place to stay while still being close enough to enjoy everything Ubud has to offer. I would absolutely return.

Due to road construction and traffic in general, found it difficult to take the short walk to town. Ride share companies and taxies are available, but a shuttle would have been nice to have.

Très bel hôtel, très bien situé. Au calme dans la jungle avec vue sur une vallée florissante. Vous pourrez y voir des écureuils depuis votre terrasse. Vous pouvez vous rendre au centre à pied mais la route est dangereuse. et il n'y a pas de navette mais pas utile vous pouvez prendre un Grab pour quelques euros. Vous pouvez vous rendre vers le nord pour faire les 'ridge walk' et découvrir les rizières. L'établissement ne possède pas beaucoup de chambres donc nous étions toujours seuls à la piscine et au restaurant. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas un buffet mais servi un table. Vous devez le choisir la veille et il est excellent car, même en passant 4 nuits, vous avez du choix. Le petit déjeuner indonésien est très bon. Le personnel est très bienveillant et surtout très discret ce que j'ai apprécié.

Very nice place to stay and to explore Ubud from. Super nice staff. My room was spacious, well equipped, cozy and had a great backyard and "jungly" views. I can totally recommend staying here :)

I lived on the top floor of the apartment building. At night, a bat likes to hang out under the terrace roof. That in itself might not be a problem, but its droppings (poop and leftover food) on the table and floor certainly are. The staff wiped everything down very early every morning (great!), but even after cleaning, there were still some stains visible—they wiped them down with a broom and some water, but in my opinion, that was only a superficial and not particularly hygienic way to remove them from a table.

The property is very green and feels peaceful. The villas / cottages are spacious. The staff is helpful and try to do the best with all your requests.

The system of having to order breakfast a night before is not great and is a bit jarring to the relaxation mood. The towels in the bathroom are not enough and also old and ragged. The sheer curtains on the four posters need better installation.

It was peaceful and easy to get around from. Good value for money

The bar area and dining room never had anyone around , we ordered some cocktails during happy hour , when we went to order more we were told no as the gentleman said he was sweeping. I feel if they had someone in the bar area people would order more food and drinks . One night we couldn’t sleep as the noise from above our villa was so loud it sounded like people moving the furniture around on the tile floor and banging, when I asked a young man who was staying above he said no one it was him cleaning all night till 11.30pm Perhaps the staff could clean the rooms during the day and sweep after 7am . Laundry prices are high compared to other places. No shuttle so need to organise your transport to get into centre of Ubud Overall we did enjoy our stay apart from these couple of issues it would have been perfect .

The staff was amazing, we had the best time in Ketut's Place. Breakfast was healthy and delicious, the pool was warm and the scenery breathtaking. The room was cleaned every day, I have no complaints. Only a short grab ride or a nice walk from the Ubud markets. If you like a calm and quiet environment, this hotel is for you

The Villa we stayed in was stunning, the design was like nothing else I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and organised us an early check-in, loved the breakfast being delivered to the room.
