The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort

The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort offers an ideal setting for exploring Galle. Situated right inside the historic fort ramparts, it places you steps away from vibrant cafes, boutique shops, and scenic walking routes across the area. Although newly constructed, the architecture and interiors masterfully preserve an authentic vintage aesthetic, blending historic character with modern comfort. Our room featured a wonderful private balcony, which was a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast each morning was hearty and sumptuous, offering a great start to the day. The only hiccup during our stay was the elevator, which had technical issues and resulted in getting stuck once on the way up. Aside from that maintenance quirk, it is a charming and well-located base.

Had a lovely and cozy stay at Heritance Hotel Galle. Beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Truly enjoyed my time here and would happily come back again.

The location of this hotel is amazing - within walking distance of everything in the Fort. As a colonial building its beautiful - HUGE rooms in dark wood with a central courtyard give it a real old world calming retreat vibe, helped by the staff who are all very friendly and professional. The breakfast was exceptional - local dishes as well as European and incredible choice of fresh fruits. Sitting in the open restaurant eating mango and passionfruit watching endangered monkeys walk by in the garden was simply magical. I'd definitely jump at the chance of returning.

ゴール旧市街の中心に位置しており、ゴール旧市街を観光するならとても良いです。古い建物ですが清潔に清掃されています。水回りの水はけもよかったです。

部屋に窓がなく全体的に暗い印象。バスタブ付きの部屋にしたがシャワーを浴びてバスタブに湯を溜める頃にはホットなお湯が出ずに結局バスタブに浸かることができなかった。おそらく、溜めたお湯を使ってるシステムであり、一定の湯量を超えるとホットシャワーさえ出なくなる。朝食がやや質素。もう少し量がほしい。屋外にあるため蚊がいるが蚊取り線香を焚いておらず、数か所さされてしまった。

Historic and well maintained hotel. Location inside the fort made all of Galle's tourist highlights within walking distance. They made a lovely decorative display on the bed for our honeymoon. The Sri lankan breakfast was good.

Loved this accommodation, the location is perfect as well as the ambiance. Beds were so large that 3 of us could comfortably sleep on one bed. Short walk to all Galle attractions, beautiful souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. We are so glad we booked this accommodation for our last 2 nights in Sri Lanka ....it was a highlight of our stay in the country.

We booked the half board option and have to say that dinners were just ok.

We had a comfortable and relaxing stay at the Heritage Hotel Galle. The staff was very helpful from welcoming us to accommodating our requests throughout our stay. The hotel was lso conveniently located to all the main attractions in Galle.

The vibe, the dutch style architecture made the place look truly surreal. The pictures on booking.com don't do justice to how beautiful the hotel was. Our room, the corridors and frangipani trees is what I will remember from this stay. Though Gall fort town itself is not too big either but this hotel.was very centrally located from all key attractions!

Breakfast was set menu and quite nice, however, simple things like pancakes too them half an hour to make. Rest of the breakfast was quite delicious and presented like a Michelin star restaurant 😋

Excellent location, great choice of restaurants nearby and lots of shops for last minute gifts. Really enjoyed the breakfast, we opted for a mix of continental and Sri Lankan and there was a very generous amount!

部屋が広くて書いてでした。 ホテル内に緑も多くてレストランも開放的でした。 朝から沢山のフルーツとスリランカカレーの朝ごはんがとても美味しかったです。 城壁内のホテルなので静かで、浜辺やショップも近く立地も良かったです。 滞在中に花火が上がって部屋から見えました。 10分のフットマッサージも気持ち良くスッキリしました。

Location was excellent- easy walking distance to places to eat, shopping and attractions. Staff were excellent and ever ready to assist. Very accommodating. Rooms were lovely and nice to stay somewhere with a sense of history.

Beautiful colonial building within the walls of the Fort. Tastefully restored, beautifully furnished large rooms. Staff helpful and friendly, great breakfast, again in a beautiful environment surrounded by fragrant frangipani trees.

The continental breakfast is excellent and was particularly appreciated after several days of enjoying exclusively local cuisine. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay for anyone looking to experience the charm, culture, and history of Galle.

They provide coupons for a 10min foot massage. we had 2 per couple, unfortunately they cannot be cumulated to have 1 person enjoying 20min foot massage, one of our coupons was wasted. That could be improved.

A beautiful hotel, with extremely welcoming staff. The room was well maintained with plenty of space despite there being 3 of us. The reception staff were super helpful and the hotel breakfast was amazing.

Excellent location close to shops and restaurants and to look around, very friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent spa services, clean and spacious room with everything I needed.

Bequemes, großes Bett. Schönes Badezimmer. Toller Garten mit Vogelstimmen zum Frühstück. Offene Frühstücks Veranda und alles sehr geschmackvoll, aber nicht übertrieben eingerichtet. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, das immer zu einem Small Talk bereit war.

Um Das Bett herum gab es nicht mehr viel Platz im Zimmer. Die inkl. Fußmassage wurde aufgrund der Feiertage nur am Anreisetag angeboten - dann sollte man an solchen Tagen keine Werbung damit machen. Andere Massage-Salons in der Stadt waren trotz Feiertage hingegen geöffnet.

We had a big fantastic suite and a superior room for our friends, at a very low rate, great value for money. it was all very nice. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. we had bathrobes ans slippers in the rooms. Great bathroom in the suite. Fantastic terrasse all around the suite.

The wooden floor was not clean, our feet rapidly became dirty, we washed several times.

The staff were very lovely and helpful, giving us some tips on catching the train back up to Colombo. The masseuse was INCREDIBLE, the best massage we've ever had! The location is so convenient. We were also served the biggest breakfast ever and slept in the biggest bed!
