The rooms are absolutely incredible, especially the upper suite. Mr. Chamika was wonderful, and all the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights, and the quality of the bedsheets was exceptional. Overall, a truly wonderful hotel with beautiful rooms, great service, and so many thoughtful details. I would happily stay here again.

The only downside was the strong smell coming from the neighbouring hotel’s waste area, which was quite unpleasant at times. Some of the lower rooms also had a noticeable smell of food, as they are located quite close to the kitchen extraction.

The response was very poor and communication was inadequate. The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant odor. Food presentation was acceptable, but the dishes lacked flavor. Considering the high prices, the food is not recommended

Beautiful location in the middle of the town. Tastefully decorated rooms, nicely furnished. Very comfortable bed. Quiet. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

A superb choice in the heart of Galle that offered premium level service and comfort. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would come again, especially if they added a pool facility!

Amazing location, right in the centre of Galle fort. Room was beautiful and very comfortable, we particularly loved the bathroom and the shower especially. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of it.

We were above the kitchen and could hear them setting up in the morning.

Really central location in the heart of Galle, with spacious rooms and amazing facilities. The breakfast was also excellent and the hotel restaurant is probably one of the best places to eat / enjoy a drink in Galle. Overall really recommend the hotel.

Housekeeping is a bit of a drawback at this property - there was only one person doing it across the 14+ rooms and that means that it takes a long time to get the room done. We asked the staff to do our room twice at 9:30am and 11am and got told yes, but the room was only done in a rush at 2pm after we raised it for a third time at the reception.

Excellent air conditioning and the room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too

The breakfast onsite was very average for the price paid and compared to all other breakfast offerings we have experienced in Sri Lanka. We had an early departure and the hotel offered us a takeaway breakfast which was very disappointing

El personal fue encantador nada mas llegar. Nos recibieron con un cocktail de bienvenida e incluso pudimos entrar en la habitación algo antes del check in. Las instalaciones estaba super limpias. A destacar el buen olor de la ropa de baño. El internet era muy rápido ya que tuve que hacer una videollamada durante una hora y fue super bien. Y las instalaciones son espectaculares. Te teletransportas al S. XVII con el lujo y comodidad del siglo XXI. El cuarto y baños super amplios y la habitación está fresca según llegas. El desayuno muy amplio, sabroso y variado. De los mejores hoteles que he estado, no solo en Sri Lanka. Nos encantó Un 10 en todo.

The hotel is in a good location close to Udawalawe National park. The rooms are very spacious and clean, we stayed in a superior delux room with views over the lake where we could see elephants wondering around in the distance. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very nice with a wide selection in the buffet. A special thanks to our waiter Asanka for looking after us

The food was very good quality from superb breakfasts to lovely evening meals. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We were given some great location ideas from a young member of staff called Sachi.

They didn’t serve Gin! Otherwise all was great.

Fantastic location from where to explore Galle, especially in the evening with no need to get a tuk-yuk back anywhere. The room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and very attentive staff.

Couldn’t really open the windows onto the balcony as it faced the extractor fans from the kitchen.

Super friendly staff and beautiful room and amazing breakfast.

If we have to choose something it would be the space of the room (quite small) and the noise the fan made but to be honest there was nothing to complain. Just a really good hotel with friendly staff.

The staff kindness, they gave me free upgrade to more spacious room. The breakfast is so delicious and hygienic. The location is in the middle of the Galle Fort. The food is halal as per the Muslim staff there. الموظفين ودودين وتم ترقية غرفتي مجانا إلى غرفة أوسع. الفطور جميل ونظيف ولذيذ جدا وهو عبارة عن اختيار من منيو. وموقع الفندق في منتصف قلعة جالي. والطعام خلال بحسب كلام الموظفين المسلمين في الفندق.

Bathroom need more clothes and towel hangers. The room does not have a mirror (only inside bathroom two big mirrors). Saturday night there was a live loud music but they stopped early before 10:00pm. The lights are little bit weak. الحمام يحتاج الى علاقة ملابس ومناشف إضافية. والغرفة ليس بها مرايا فقط يوجد مرآتان في الحمام. كان هناك اغاني يوم اليبت في الليل ولكنه توقف بدري قبل ال10 مساءا. الإضاءة في الغرفة ضعيفة قليلا.

My wife And I had the most amazing time and were sad we stayed only for one night due to our work schedule but we most certainly shall return. We were so happy from. The start to be welcomed by Samith and Naveena and staff with so much warmth and throughout we truly felt at home away from home.

We had a few little comments to add one being the m Bed room should have a tall mirror as there was no mirror in the room at all and had to do a ur changing in the washroom. Second being that the water waste tray was clogged but Ameen the. Manager himsfesned it and were were shocked to see such leadership qualities but were so blessed by all of the staff.

It didnt have facilities, my room was on the third floor with no elevator. So I know i cant bring mama here.

The staff behavior and the efforts they made to make us feel comfortable. We are pure vegetarians and the staff at kitchen walked extra mile to offer us pure vegetarian dishes.

Ideal location, beautiful property, amazing food and wonderful staff

The staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. The room was larger than expected - which was a good surprise, and was very clean. The daily cleaning was done really well, and the bathrooms are also in a good state with decent hot water. The location is fantastic - maybe sometimes it gets loud during peak season, but for us we had no noise issues at all. The hotel has been built to keep in line with the surrounding architecture and they've done a great job. It's also very close to get everywhere in the fort by foot - which was very helpful when travelling with a young child. The restaurant has good quality food - a bit expensive - but, had the best pol roti here with a great chicken curry + parippu! I would definitely stay here again - if we're travelling on our own, or with one other family. Keep a look out for the squirrels that you can see scurrying around in the mornings, they're a fun sight to watch for the kids.

There was nothing we didn't like - however two things to note are the property doesn't have a lift, or a pool. It's only two floors and we could go up the stairs so that was fine. A pool, even a small one, would have been nice as the daytime gets hot.

We had a fantastic time in Galle and part of the reason was this hotel. It had everything we needed - beautiful rooms with amazing air conditioning, a delicious breakfast with tasty choices, and very kind people helping us whenever we needed it. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back!

poor lighting outside room - needs better lightning in order to put key in keyhole, struggle every time no swimming pool, lots of stairs Could do with stronger lightning in rooms restaurant- excluding breakfast - expensive. prawn curry only had 4 prawns. lots of customers smoking during meal time (not fault of restaurant but very annoying) need more fans in outdoor restaurant area - a bit hot compared to other similar styled restaurants in area staff lacking in knowledge regarding things to do around area
