Le personnel est aux petits soins, la maison est magnifiquement décorée, lui conférant une ambiance très chaleureuse et la vue de la chambre et de l’hôtel est à couper le souffle. La piscine est très agréable et intimiste et le petit déjeuner excellent. Merci !

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Charming Riad with beautiful gardens and sea view. Breakfast was delicious. We had a great room with large terrace overlooking the harbour. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Found the bed to be very hard but this is personal preference. The hot water is extremely hot, like boiling, so we had to be careful to use taps correctly. The swimming pool area looked unappetising so we chose not to spend time there. Also, was promised a complimentary taxi back to airport but staff not present on departure, so ended up paying for this! Otherwise it’s all charming and cosy.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Tangier was the surprise destination on our Moroccan trip and only included as we could fly back to Carcassonne directly from there. We loved Tangier and Aux 3 Portes was the perfect destination in every way - fabulously decorated and furnished with a quirky collection of furniture and objects. The location, facilities, food, staff and fellow guests. I could go on!
Nothing really. It perches on top of the town so there’s an uphill walk back from visiting the medina or any of the countless restaurants. But there is a nearby square that taxis can access for those not so energetic.

The staff could not be nicer or more helpful, the decoration is beautiful, the pool secluded (and heated), breakfast nourishing with fresh orange juice, eggs and pancakes. All this said, this is less like a hotel than a friend’s house. Don’t expect super modern amenities, just an abundance of charm.

No AC, but it’s not a deal breaker. There’s a great ocean breeze at night and they provide a strong fan in the room.

The facilities, the staff, the food, the drinks, the pool is amazing - the size of the rooms - it had it all - in fact I think this is the nicest booking accomodation I have ever booked - I wanted authentic Moroccan and we got it.
Nothing but if you cannot do steps I do not think this is a property for you…..

C’est un petit paradis sur terre. Tout vous invite au voyage et au lâcher prise. Allez y les yeux fermés. Le personnel est chaleureux, professionnel et généreux. Reviewed Jun 12, 2026We had the most exceptional stay at Aux Trois Portes. There was no detail that wasn’t perfect. The location was absolutely superb. The decor and ambience were stunning. Breakfast was enormous and utterly delicious. We had the most restful nights’ sleep whilst we were here- the room was so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean. Every single member of the team was outstanding. We especially have to thank Abdelwahab who made the stay so memorable and truly special. There was no request that he wasn’t able to fulfil (from transfers to food recommendations), always so professional, and always so enthusiastic and helpful. We simply could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you for making our stay perfect from start to finish. It was a true pleasure.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Tout. Le lieu, la décoration, chaque objet raconte une histoire. Il y a de nombreux livres afin de s’occuper dans les divers salons. Le jardin et les terrasses sont sublimes. Le personnel très professionnel. On vous conseille le hamam et massage.
Le Riad est grand et nous comprenons les quelques réparations à réaliser. Cela donne aussi sont charme.

Le personnel est accueillant et avenant. Excellent petit déjeuné composé de crêpes et pain locaux ainsi que des viennoiseries, oeufs et jus frais, sur la terrasse ou dans la salle à manger. Cadre magnifique tant le jardin que l'intérieur, véritable palais des curiosités, (mais qui pourrait sembler surchargé pour certains adeptes du design épuré!) J'ai adoré déambuler dans les différents salons, couloirs pour admirer tableaux ou bibelots. Pour moi, tout était parfait.

Partner has back issues and bed wasn’t best for her, that is a very personal critique and shows that we didn’t have any issues that might effect others - she still gives the hotel a 10/10!

Wrapping this, the gardens outside could make many botanical gardens grow shy! Beautifully maintained layers of flora diversity with a view to tangier's sea and port. Perfect scene for an amazing, diverse breakfast. Also the staff were very welcoming and helpful in every moment!
This is more of a suggestion. In the garden, as is common throughout Tangier, there are some resident cats that make the place feel even nicer. However, we got the impression that they were not being consistently looked after, as some appeared quite skinny and visibly hungry. It would be great to see a bit more attention given to them, such as providing food, since we see this care as a collective responsibility.

Terrazze vista mare per godersi un'ottima colazione o semplicemente per rilassarsi. Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Wonderful oasis of calm. Beautiful building and fabulous views. Incredibly thoughtful staff. Our arrival was unexpectedly delayed by 3 hours but they still served us a hot meal on arrival. I cannot fault this lovely hotel.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Ein traumhafter Ort, bester Platz für einen Aufenthalt in Tanger. Der Parkplatz liegt nur einen Katzensprung von der wunderschönen Unterkunft entfernt, direkt an der Kasbah. Ein bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtes Haus. Unsere Suite hatte eine separate Terrasse mit Meerblick. Auf dieser durften wir auch unser großzügihes Frühstück genießen. Herzliche Mitarbeiter, besser geht es nicht.

Reviewed Mar 13, 2026Exceeded are expectations in every way we would return in a heartbeat ! Very World of Interiors but comfortable and felt so authentic and cared for. Beautiful gardens and terraces overlooking the sea and port but quiet. Staff were all so lovely. Owners little dog Kiki was very sweet too. Good and easy walking to port and Kasbah and medina .. lots of hills and steps but absolutely fine. One of the most beautiful and memorable places we have ever stayed ..made our trip to Tangier ..don’t hesitate to book
