Dar Nour

Tuve una experiencia maravillosa en Dar Nour. Me tocó una habitación espectacular y realmente sentí que estaba alojándome en un pequeño palacio. La relación precio-calidad me pareció excelente. Si tienen la posibilidad de reservar la habitación Matisse, háganlo: es preciosa y hace que la estadía sea aún más especial. La comida también fue excelente, tanto el buffet como el desayuno, todo muy rico y bien preparado. Además, el personal fue siempre muy amable, atento y preocupado de que todo estuviera bien. Sin duda fue uno de esos alojamientos que hacen que un viaje se recuerde todavía con más cariño. Volvería feliz.

Great staff! Especially Ismail, he helped me find my way on my first ever walk about. I was so nervous about unwanted approaching people and getting lost!

One manager on my last day was pretty grumpy - otherwise I felt at home and really happy with my choices.

A stunning spot beautifully curated with art, books and tasteful interiors. Staff were fabulous, always helpful and the roof top is stunning for evening drinks or dinner looking over Tangier bay.

En plein cœur du centre historique. Un habitat traditionnel dans la Kasbah avec tout le confort d’une hôtel de luxe. Mention spéciale pour la literie extraordinaire. J’ai très bien dormi.

Je n’ai pas aimé qu’il soit tellement réputé que j’ai eu du mal a trouver une chambre.

L’emplacement est idéal et l’établissement est très propre. Le personnel est accueillant, professionnel et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation.

El trato del personal, excelente!

Une décoration pleine de charme et beaucoup de goût. L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas des lieux incontournables de la médina de Tanger. Le personnel est aux petits soins du début à la fin du séjour, toujours souriant et disponible. La terrasse est absolument superbe. Une adresse que je recommande vivement. Petit clin d'œil à ma fille de 7 ans, qui a tellement aimé cet endroit que j'avais beaucoup de mal à l'en faire sortir pour visiter Tanger !

Our room was exceptional with a wonderful view, comfortable bed, and other nice amenities. The roof top terrace was also beautiful, with a lot of different places to sit and views. The Dar also has fun, beautiful, and unique art and decor pieces throughout.

I think the Dar should communicate prior to arrival the gate/space where you should have your taxi or transportation leave you. Our taxi driver left us 15 minutes away, with an uphill hike and bags, when there was a spot 3 minutes away with a downhill walk. This has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel or our stay, but just something helpful that other places communicated to us later in our trip.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooftop terrace for evening drinks and breakfast is really beautiful with views over Tangiers and the water. The bed was very comfortable.

Like in all médinas it can be difficult to navigate to the hotel and Google Maps may let you down!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay in a beautiful room near the medina. Dar Nour has a unique charm, and Joseph was exceptionally welcoming. He kindly showed us around the property and shared that Dar Nour was the first hotel built in the medina, which made the experience feel even more special. We were given one of the oldest rooms in the hotel, adding to the authentic atmosphere. The location was very convenient for exploring the medina, and the rooftop with its sea view was definitely a highlight. Although our stay was short, it was enjoyable overall, and the staff were very accommodating throughout our visit.

I noticed was a slightly unusual smell in the room. The bathroom was downstairs and though guests should be careful because there are stairs inside the bathroom that can become slippery.

Очень уютный и аутентичный риад с невероятной атмосферой старого Танжера. Понравился интерьер, терраса с красивым видом и дружелюбный персонал. Отличное место, чтобы почувствовать настоящий марокканский стиль и спокойно отдохнуть в медине. Dar Nour оставил очень приятные впечатления.

Так как риад находится в старой медине, к нему не очень удобно добираться с чемоданами, а вечером иногда было слышно шум с улицы. Но это часть атмосферы Танжера и исторического центра.

Repetimos estancia después de 17 años de alojarnos por primera vez. Es un sitio precioso cuidado al detalle. El personal super atento y amable, nos facilitaron la contratación de los taxis para el movimiento por la zona.

El precio de la cerveza, 8€ nos pareció algo excesivo

Charmante maison, idéale à mon sens pour un séjour de charme, en amoureux par exemple. Très belle terrasse. L'équipe est à l'écoute et sait organiser des loisirs (massages par exemple). Je recommande cet hôtel.

Peu de chose, un spot wifi serait un plus.

De eigenaars doen hun uiterste best om het naar je zin te maken. Hoewel we niet gelukkig waren met de kamers, zijn ze toch blijven zoeken om een oplossing te vinden. Het personeel doet ook zijn best om het je naar je zin te maken en de omgeving is als één grote club vrienden. Eens je binnen bent verwijzen ze je naar bevriende (maar goeie) restaurants of kunstgalerijen.

De kamers en de bedden zijn perfect voor jonge mensen maar voor ons waren de bedden te hard en op elke kamer was er iets mis. Geen zicht, of op een wenteltrap naar een aparte slaapkamer (om dan 's nachts slaapdronken van de wenteltrap af te dalen om naar het toilet te gaan), vast tapijt voor mensen met allergie.

I fell in love with Dar Nour. Every day I chatted with the staff and learnt so much about Tangier and Morocco. Thank you so much for your warmth! The magnificent breakfast buffet is served on the roof terrace, where you can dine with a view over the city – it’s absolutely stunning. The hotel is very centrally located yet quiet; I slept like a log.

The location was lovely, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was incredible - delicious fresh fruit, lots of different breads. We had a buffet dinner one night on the terrace and it was divine. We highly recommend that. They serve beers, wine and cocktails from late afternoon and you can watch the sunset and listen to the Muezzin. Overall we had a wonderful stay in Dar Nour and we’d highly recommend to anyone staying in Tangier for a few nights.

The ceilings are low in places so you need to get used to ducking to get through the doors (or bang your head!). It made us laugh.

Nous avons loué 3 chambres, une avait une salle de bain minuscule , les 2 autres parfaites. Chambre non isolee phonetiquement, beaucoup de bruit le soir sur les chambres des stages inferieurs. Accueil minimaliste, de plus une erreur dans le montant prelevé par l’etablissement et pas de solution proposée

Loved the rooftop, very nicely decorated room.

Very loud at night with people talking outside, inputting the code into the loud front door all night. Also was there during Ramadan so sleep was not the priority.

We did not get the room we asked for or anything like it. We are in our late 70's and the hotel manager took us to a room 4 flights up on steep steps without railings. The room didn't have the decor we expected from the photos. It had a balcony with a spiral staircase to the roof. This was not thewater view I was promised.The staff showed us 3 or 4 rooms and said some where higher priced and we would have to pay the up charge.We finally took a room that was smaller than we booked and only one flight up with the same price. The bed was comfortable but the views terrible and the bathroom was very tiny with lots of problems. The toilet wasn't seated correctly so it banged every time you say on it . There were no hooks to hang towels or robes and no toilet paper roller so the toilet paper kept falling on the floor. The shower was only a hand held and there was no hooking mechanism to put the hand held up for a shower. The staff went all out to help us but we never saw an owner or head manager that could correct things.

Una struttura particolare, non mancano le scale ma, a parte questo, é pulita ed accogliente con cambio asciugamani tutti i giorni (cosa non proprio da tutti) e con una terrazza fantastica dove bere un aperitivo o anche semplicemente un tè alla menta.

Que me dieron una suite con baño minúscula y cuando me queje me dijeron que las otras son los que llaman directo pero por Booking es esa o sea me castigaron por ser de Booking. La suite son 4 pisos por escalera empinada más los 100 escalones desde la cuidad no apto personas disminuidas
