Felt very home-y, not a chain hotel, personalized.

Need a car if you want to see sites.

A lovely, clean, and spacious room, very comfortable and well maintained.

The breakfast could be improved. The selection of food was somewhat limited, and the overall quality was not particularly high.

Breakfast was great. Excellent Room(spacious, homely and always clean). Friendly staff. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

Sometimes the room was cold and the heater didn't work.

Great, safe location for short stopover. Meals very good.

Perhaps offer a lunch option for those with no transport especially as no shops handy for snacks.

Luxurious room, quiet area, management are exceptional particularly Darleenewho went out of her way to be welcoming. No hesitation in recommending Eagle Rock.

Large bedroom and bathroom and we could have dinner as well as breakfast. Lodge feel rather than airport hotel.

In one room we had I could not connect with the universal adapter so could not charge phone. Emails regarding airport transfers were not responded to. However they were arranged which was convenient.

De kamer was mooi en lekker ruim. De bedden goed.

Het ontbijt kan beter. Het was heel summier. Wij waren de enige gasten die op dat moment (8 uur) aan het ontbijt zaten. En dan de aankomst. Er was ons bevestigd dat aankomst na 24:00 geen probleem was (voor de zekerheid gemeld en gelukkig, de bagage was vertraagd). Nou dat verliep niet fijn. De weg naar de veilige wijk waar de lodge zich bevindt was volgens de taxichauffeur heel onveilig, veel overvallen. Daarom rijden zij als het donker is gewoon door rood licht. Wordt gedoogd. De man was echt bang. Om 24:00 uur aankomst bij de accommodatie maar de poort was dicht. Op herhaaldelijk aanbellen werd niet gereageerd. Dan maar claxonneren, ook geen reactie. Pfff wat nu? Telefoonnummer opgezocht en gelukkig kwam er na ruim een half uur na aankomst iemand om ons binnen te laten. Geen fijne ervaring. Maar de lodge is verder prima.

Die gute Lage zum Flughafen. Der Hotelmanager hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir konnten noch spontan im Restaurant abends essen gehen.

Dejligt sted! Ligger i et roligt og sikkert område med vagt for enden af vejen. Vi (4 voksne) boede fire nætter og havde en suite og en præsident-suite med kæmpe badeværelse og egen lille pool og to liggestole. Der er også mindre fælles pool. Rigtig god morgenmad. Sødt personale. Fint fitness-rum.

Vores private pool trængte til at blive gjort rent. Den fælles pool er uden liggestole og svært at finde sted at sole sig der.

La décoration est exceptionnelle et le personnel particulièrement serviable et gentil. Nous avons profité du repas en soirée qui était bon. Le cadre du restaurant est également appréciable.

seul bémol, il faisait un peu froid. Mais je peux comprendre que l'installation d'un chauffage est superflue dans un pays où il fait trop chaud, la majorité du temps.

Das Personal war so unglaublich nett, dass wir gern noch geblieben wären. Das Guest House liegt sehr gut, in einem tollen Wohngebiet nahe des Flughafens, ist also eine gute Adresse, wenn man zum oder vom Airport kommt.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft, mit allem was man braucht.

Leier gab es vorher keine Informationen zum Restaurant (und den Preisen) oder über einen möglichen Shuttle Service.

The staff were most helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to help us. We stayed at this hotel four times over a period of 4 weeks in between tours. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend Eagle Rock Guest House.

Das Gästehaus liegt in der Nähe zum Flughafen in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und wunderschön eingerichtet mit bequemen Betten und einem modernen Bad. Und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

The staff were so accommodating. We stayed at Eagle Rock 4 times and used it as a base. I would not hesitate to recommend Eagle Rock.

Feeling home from the first minute. Fabulous rooms and superfriendly and helpful staff!

2nd stay here, and Mr Wikus and the team went above and beyond once again, no fluke! Jo'burg had crazy torrential rain for many days and the roof started leaking. They switched my room within 2 hours, no questions asked! Finally had chance to enjoy the breakfast since I usually have early starts for work, and it didn't disappoint. The omelettes cooked to taste and perfection.

We liked everything about this guest house. The suite was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, the staff is very friendly and helpfull and the decoration of the guest house is perfect in every detail. The area is very save and only 15 minutes drive from Johannesburg airport. We stayed here only one night, but could easily spend a week or more.

Lovely rooms in a great location in close proximity to the airport. Hospitality was top notch with warm & welcoming hosts 🙂 Food was lovely too, very comfortable beds, huge bathroom ~ everything was spotlessly clean with well kept gardens. Thank you Eagle Rock!

All was great!

The guest house was managed by friendly staff and is situated in a gated community so you can walk around, which felt nice. The area directly at the reception, featuring a pool looks pleasant, there are gardens over the whole property which are definitely the nicest feature.

- there is no restaurant but just a very basic cafeteria without table service. Dinner consists of going to the dispensing area and getting food ladled on your plate and grabbing a soda from a cooler - the property is split in two by a road, to cross from your room to the restaurant you need to open and close two gates - the hotel definitely did not feel like 4 stars but all my issues would probably be fine if they are expected

Best guest house I've ever been to. I liked everything about this guest house. We were picked up at OR Tambo international by the friendliest staff member. Got to the guest house and was greeted by a very friendly Wicus who made us feel at home. Went to our room and wow, what a beautiful sight. The room and bathroom were neat and clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. The gardens are also beautiful. We had the most delicious breakfast, and the staff members are just amazing. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family, and I will stay there after future trips.

There is definitely nothing to dislike about this place or the staff of this guest house. Everything is just perfect.

Eagle Rock Executive Guest House is a beautiful hidden gem. We loved how the rooms were beautifully decorated and personalized, how the chef went out of his way to make us dinner though we arrived late, and truly can’t wait to explore the property a bit more, as it exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. They were also so generous to allow us to leave our car on the property when we headed out for our vacation in Knysna, and we are truly grateful for the exceptional service.
