Great accommodation, with great views of the coast.

Mit dem Besitzer Marc konnten wir uns gut unterhalten. Wir erfuhren viel über Paternoster, die Umgebung und Tipps. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross. Es ist ein privates Ehepaar welche die Räumlichkeiten vermietet. Wir würden wieder dort buchen über Booking.com und Paternoster geniesen.

Uns hat alles gefallen.

More kitchen supplies eg: covered braai dish, braai tongs and new microwave and plasticware.

We loved our stay in Paternoster, our room had its own balcony with fantastic views. The bed was really comfortable, the fridge was a real bonus and the coffee/tea facilities were a real welcome after a day's travel. The bread at breakfast was delicious, the host got up early the following morning to bake us a brown loaf of bread. Our hosts were lovely. For dinner we cannot recommend the restaurant Leeto highly enough. We felt so special and the scenery, atmosphere, service and food were out of this world.

The amount of stairs to the room

The location is excellent. You're within walking distance of the beach and the Waterfront. The views were really lovely. The hosts were very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable.

The stairs are a bit tricky

Lovely place, lovely hosts. Breakfast is continental with fresh bread. Top room has nice views of the sea.

Breakfast is in the main open plan living area/kitchen where the family lives so it's not very private but you get to chat to the hosts.

The view! A very beautiful place where you hear the ocean and see the whales while sitting on your balcony.

Birds on roof at night gave me a fright but that’s not the accommodation fault.

We were only staying for one night and the accommodation was perfect. Great location and close to everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. A shame we couldn’t stay longer.

Uma jóia. Excelente Anfitrião: prestativo, educado, eficiente, cheio de histórias para contar e dicas de toda a região. Quarto bom, muito bem equipado. Rua tranquila, sem trânsito, nem barulho. Café da manhã servido no quarto e de ótima qualidade.

The location was convenient to restaurants.

The owners were extremely inappropriate with the way they spoke to my friend and I regarding our room. The booking we made showed a room with a sea view. On arrival we were directed to a back alley room with no view. When we asked about one of the rooms with the sea view as it showed on booking.com - the lady lost her mind on us and advised that they did not want to have to remake beds and did not want us in the part of the property - even though they admitted the better room with the view was available. She advised that if we didnt like the room she gave we could leave and we would loose our money. We somehow convinced her to let us stay in the room with the view. The next morning, the owner Micheal decided to berate us at breakfast, telling us that we had "pressed the wrong button" on the website and it was our fault. Again he complained about having to change the beds and remake the one bed we didnt use for the next guests - who needed a different room configuration. He was relentless and had to be asked to please leave us alone. They both had attitudes that do not belong in hospitality. I have never been treated so badly as a guest. And mind you, this was the off season - winter in Paternoster. There were no other guests staying at this BNB.

Good facilities and breakfast was included. Hosts went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure

Location, view, and size of the apartment were great.

The apartment felt tired and cleanliness did not fully meet our expectations.

The unit/room was nice, good bed and good services like bathroom, kitchen, bit of a peak of the ocean great breakfast

The roof above the kitchen leaked during the night, there was no form of heating and it was cold, the toilet cistern kept running, toaster not working

Hosts were friendly, breakfast was delicious.

Our Room B2 had no view whatsoever, only to the neighbours backyard. No balcony in B2. No facility to sit outside. (Room B1 occupied by family had a nice view and balcony and was OK).

Hosts went out of the way to assist with my flat tyre get it fixed. Took car to Garage to get tyre repaired etc

Spectacular sea views and easy stroll to the beach. Facilities were great to make one's stay most enjoyable. Michael the owner could have not been more helpful and friendly All in all made for a lovely relaxed stay.A lovely patio off the bedroom to gaze at the beautiful bay.

A note for people who struggle with staircases.Bedrooms are upstairs

Netter Empfang! Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Meerblick. Urig gebaut und ausgestattet. Vom Chef persönlich serviertes leckeres Frühstück.

Wir hatten Pech: es war SEHR kalt und wir haben schon gefroren. Teil des Abenteuers.

It was very peaceful and quiet. Loved the view and the breakfast.

The owner and his wife are lovely people. They provided an awesome breakfast, great advise of attractions to see, where to eat and other worthwhile info. Room well thought through clean, comfy, enough blankets, two hot water bottles to fight the chill. No fault to be found staying here!! We wished we could've stayed longer!

Well positioned, equipped, good value for money with a lovely breakfast included in the price.

Not the most welcoming greeting

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom double story apartment after our postponement. We had everything we needed. Fabulous sunset views over the ocean from both the upstairs balcony and the downstairs patio. Close to beach and town center.

The room had a view of the sea between buildings. Overall it was good.

Our visit was in the middle of winter and the room was a bit cold, but there were sufficient blankets to sleep warm.

When I arrived they said that they had nothing available. Waste of my time and fuel The lady told me that booking.com made a mistake.

The setting is beautiful. we loved watching the sunset from our room. The beach is close and we could go for a lovely walk directly from the accommodation.

We unfortunately did not meet Marlene but Michael is an amazing host. We were very satisfied with the flat and the service

Nothing extroadinary or nothing extra stood out. Most expensive accomodation on our West Coast trip - not worth the money paid. Breakfast was lousy. Parking is an issue - you have to keep on moving your car !!!

The noise from the neighbours' pump was very disturbing on our last night, on & off & quite loud.A bigger fridge would've been nice but I guess that particular unit does not have space for it.

Loved the home away from home feeling. The view from the room is spectacular.

There is nothing specific to complain about.

The room was exactly as portrayed in the booking. Access to the beach was very easy. Parking was easy. Breakfast was good. Location was good for a few restaurants and Michael had provided a guide to the restaurants of Paternoster.

WWE loved the facility, and the lovely breakfast. Would have loved to have an outside sea view after a day out exploring. Friendly and beautiful owners, made us feel at home and safe.

The accommodation has a very good price-performance ratio. It is functionally furnished and has everything you need. Breakfast was brought to the B&B by Michael, always with fresh fruit! The two hosts are super friendly and welcoming and are always ready to give tips. We were very impressed that they specifically advised us not to buy lobsters on the street - illegally - in order to protect the marine stocks!
