Meritas Countryside Resort Lonavala

The breakfast was pretty decent. And staff was nice

The room size was too small. There was strong smell of stale smoke in the corridors. The ground floor room has rainwater coming in because of which we had to shift in a different room. But that room was too small for three people (for which we had already paid). There was no proper ventilation and the door didn't have a net, so we couldn't keep it open,since there were insects coming in.

Common sitting area outside rooms was a good facility. Fair billing process. Cooperative staff. Car park facility was good.

Restaurant service was bit slow. Breakfast menu improvement required.

Mr Abhishek and the staff were helpful and attentive. ..and gave their best sevices ..in all a very good experience

Location was okay, but difficult to find taxi /auto for going to the market. Spacious property, though under utilised.

Staff was rude. Receptionist was very impolite to talk, also she refused to get our room clean. We had to ask several times for cleaning. She was behaving very mean & unkind. Rooms were small & not properly maintained. Complimentary bathroom accessories were insufficient.Soap, slippers, conditioner & vanity kit not provided. Mattress wasn’t comfortable. Swimming pool was empty for 3 days of our stay, Breakfast was very basic & average. Restaurant lacks cleanliness. I regret booking my stay here, they have several properties in Lonavala, I hope other ones are better.

A last minute trip to Lonavala and thankfully Meritas just about had a room available! The location of the property is alright but the property itself is lovely with all its surroundings greenery. The rooms are okay with a very interesting layout planned.

We visited Meritas Countryside Lonavala and had a very good experience with the restaurant services. We had ordered parcel food once and also attended the breakfast buffet in the morning, and both experiences were excellent. Mr. Subah Samanta, who handles the restaurant, was extremely courteous, professional, and very helpful throughout. His warm and attentive approach truly stood out and is highly appreciated. Thank you Mr. Subah Samanta for the wonderful hospitality and service!

Amazing location and room service

Location- It is good for family relaxation. Some near by places are there for site seeing like Sun Set Point, Rajmachi point, Lake for boating. Atmosphere- Atmospehre was cool around Mar 2026 when we visited Rooms- Rooms were clean, Some bedsheets were torn but it was replaced immediately. We used Value- We booked this place considering swimming pool availability. Swimming Pool is closed at 6.30 pm but as per instructions on swimming pool board it is open till 7 pm as per one instraction board and open till 9 pm as per another instruction board. this is misleading. We came for swimming after sunset sightseeing around 7.30 and we were not allowed to use the pool. We went to Swimming pool next day. Here Jacuzzi is working only in 1 chair . Swimming pool was not maintained well. It was having lot of leaves and soil. So we skipped swimming. We had asked staff to clean it a day before but it was not taken care of. Restaurant in Hotel- Food in attached restaurant to the resort is good in taste but slightly over priced and limited menu. There are lot of good hotels near by so we tried food outside. Breakfast was good with reasonable spread Staff - Staff was friendly. Sports Room- Sports room was also OK. Fussball pieces needs to be repaired as some of them were broken. Chess board and cards can also be added. But Table tennis and pool and carrom were good. Ambience at night is more pleasant and appealing

The ambience is stunning.They got all sorts of things under same roof.Best part is they have kids play area which keep our kids occupied from not getting bored.They do have indoor play area for adults.Food is good,staff is polite overall had wonderful experience. Rooms are clean.

My stay at Meritas Countryside, Lonavala was honestly wonderful from the moment we checked in until the next day. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the balcony was such a pretty, peaceful spot to just sit and relax. The whole property, from the façade to the playground, was very well kept and thoughtfully designed. The music at night was perfectly balanced, not too loud, just enough to add to the vibe. The atmosphere there felt almost ethereal and truly mesmerizing. A big shoutout to the staff because they were amazing. Very polite, gentle, and genuinely helpful with everything we needed. The food quality was top notch, and everything around the property was squeaky clean. The only small issue was that the bathroom had a slight odor the morning during our stay, maybe something related to the drainage. Also, the indoor arcade could use a bit more supervision since some game pieces were missing, which took a little fun away. Overall, it was easily a 10/10 experience for what we paid. I would definitely recommend it and would love to visit again.

The rooms were very clean and top notch. The property was also very nice with a pool and jacuzzi. The best part was the club room where you can play ample of games and have a chill time. It was our 1st wedding anniversary and on request they decorated the room very beautifully, thank you very much Meritas!

Location is convenient. Atmosphere is good. Rooms are fine but in our room there is a perticular smell was coming when we switch on the exhaust fan in washroom. And that was irritating to us. Amenities were good.

I stayed in superior room and it was bug and very clean. Staffs were very supportive. We had our dinner from same restaurant and the food was really tasty. Recommended.

Location - Good location just near the highway, near Jayanand dham, mepro garden, Neeta in office..within 5 mins. Atmosphere - Pleasant atmosphere. Rooms - I booked Superior room, nice room, with well spaced, sofa cum bed for a kid, one hall outside the room just for sitting. Service - Very good gesture of all house keepers. Amenities - Pool table, carom, TT, snack and ladders, soccer.. available in play room. Outside slides, zula and swimming pool available. Also all are well maintained. Breakfast - Good food, idli, menduvadaz sambhar, chatni, khaman, jalebi, poha, fruits, breads, muffins, donut, cake, tea,ilk, coffee, misal pav. Options are there and quality is also very good.

No sleeper in the room and not proper clean

It is good property, but hygiene is not up to mark, as a compared with meritas adore, meritas adore is very good property and staff also very good.

The staff is very slow, and you have to call them 2–3 times for even basic requests. For example, after check-in we requested towels, which were not provided until 4 PM despite calling three times. Each time, they kept saying the towels were already in the room, even after we clearly explained they were not. And they dont even have the basic first aid kit. But they definitely call you at 10.50 for check out reminder!! There are no smart TVs, so the only option was regular channels like Balika Vadhu on Colors. The TV speakers were also in very poor condition. The food menu is very limited. The chana garlic dish had baby garlic and didn’t even resemble a proper garlic preparation. Maintenance is extremely poor. There was dust everywhere, and the kettle looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Last year we stayed at Meritas Aura and had an exceptional experience, but this time it was the complete opposite. This was a managers’ trip meant for relaxation and enjoyment, but due to poor service and lack of hygiene, the experience was very disappointing—especially after paying a good amount.

This is the 2nd time we are visiting here and the ambience is very peaceful. Whether you are visiting as a couple or with a family, the place hosts everyone alike. The staff is polite and helpful. The rooms and bathroom are clean and has a decent dedicated play area and swimming pool. Overall our experience was awesome and we shall visit here again.

Property is very small however Location of resort is good, ambience of hotel looks decent, rooms are small with toughen glass partitions created in the rooms to separate washrooms. Room sleepers are not being provided. Experience lots of delay in Housekeeping service to clean the rooms, it needs to be improved , food service and taste is good. Overall stay experience is value for money.

We had an amazing experience.. nice location. Value for money. Rooms are clean. Nice food. We had went during Christmas and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff also gave a complimentary Christmas rum cake. Thank you .

One of the best experience at Countryside by Meritas. Rooms were clean. Excellent ambience. Very beautiful lawn. Good service, great food. We moved from Fern Lonavla to the said resort. Food in Fern was horrible. But food here was extra ordinary whether Ala carte or buffet breakfast. To name a few Subah, Sujeet, Ketan , Deepak Singh. Excellent service from them.

We booked 4 rooms and were given rooms 201 to 204 and outside the rooms they had sewer manholes and smelling terrible so every guest should avoid this rooms unless you love the smell. The bedding was not clean at all and had to request to change. Shower in 201 and 204 was not working so had to do bucket bath. The location is in a residential area with nothing outside no public and no activities so plenty options to choose in good vibrant areas. On our last night at 23 45 the reception staff calls our room when we fast asleep and wants to know and asks for the residential address in our country cause it was not in there system he could not wait till morning and had to call late at night and apologised in the morning so very unprofessional from reception desk. The resort is very old and everything feels so run down so avoid this resort and choose better options

The location is excellent. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were outstanding. The food was superb. All the staff members, especially Mr. Subha, who is managing the kitchen and is always smiling while doing his job very efficiently, were very friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff were good and very accommodating. Chef is doing a great job. On the whole superb experience. Our rooms were booked in the name of Harish Parekh 102/3/4. Had an amazing time, I would definitely stay here again. The reception staff couldn't be more helpful. The menu in the resturant is varied and the food is excellent. Lastly, I would like to thank the restaurant staff especially "Sidhant" who caters to your every need, which is especially helpful when you are visiting from another country and aren't so familiar with Indian cuisine.

I stayed here for two nights from 9/7/25 to 11/7/25. I had a very good experience and enjoyed the complimentary Breakfast. The Receptionist lady was helpful and rest of all the staffs were good. The room was cleaned properly by the Room Attendants. Whatever other things were needed delivered on time. I enjoyed the cool air at the balcony with the round table and chair sitting and enjoying the coffee. I had Chicken teriyaki dry at the Aster Restaurant and it was really very good. Overall I would give the 10/10 ratings for the quality of service.

The hospitality of this resort is top notch, the location is also very beautiful though it's in the main city of Lonavala not on the hillside, you can't see the valley or any sort of scenic view but still the resort itself is very beautifully constructed, it's a small and cozy resort and I would love to visit again. Everything is excellent. Right from Check-in, stay, food, hospitality, rooms, restaurant, games room. Each and everything is well managed.

the rooms are quite spacious, the resort itself is very peaceful and in the city center so you can even go out, the reception was responsive to queries, overall decent stay, you can even order in and it has a good gaming area with pool, table tennis , carrom and outdoor badminton

It was great hospitality overall. Place is serene, food is excellent, staff was helpful, front desk was courteous, highly recommended . The ambience at aster, the the restaurant is great.
