Creagory Skye

Very clean and a little larger than other accommodations in Portree. The owners are very nice and accommodating and the place smells great!

To get to the main town you do have to walk but it is less than 10 minutes and there are options to grab a snack closer.

Le petit déjeuner fait maison est délicieux. Susan est super gentille et est aux petits soins pour ses clients. La literie est exceptionnelle, on a passé des nuits très reposantes après des journées bien remplies sur l’île de Skye. L’hôtel est vraiment très bien situé et à deux pas de Portree.

The location was really great. Free parking, and you could walk to Portree Town Square in about 10 minutes. Susan was very nice and gave us some tips and recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast was also really good. Susan was able to accommodate our requests for vegan options. The avocado toast was wonderful and now I miss it! Portree is a very cute little town with more shops and restaurants than other towns in Skye. Most of the major attractions are within about an hour's drive from here.

There was really no place to unpack and store your clothing. The room contained a very pretty vanity table, but the drawers were actually too shallow for clothing, so we had to get creative with chairs and packing cubes. There was a place to hang up a few items, and Susan brought us a few more hangers when requested. But having some additional shelving or drawers for unpacking clothing would have been great.

Breakfast was amazing,nice selection! The owners are very friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and and definitely come back.

Camera con letto ampio e molto comodo, bagno grande con doccia ampia. Posizione fantastica a 10 min a piedi dal centro di Portree. Colazione deliziosa, la proprietaria ci ha offerto il banana bread al check in dopo che ha saputo che avevamo fatto un lungo trekking! Molto gentile e premurosa, ci torneremmo volentieri !

Only an 8 minute walk from downtown Portree. Quiet. Delicious breakfast. Clean individually locked room with private bath and very comfy large bed. Hostess super friendly. Hostess also will take care of arranging same day out-sourced laundry service for 25 Scottish pounds so you can go touring and come back to clean clothes. Leaves Scottish treats at bedside nightly! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful breakfast. Very attentive owner. It would be better if laundry facilities were available here. Exceptionally clean property. Fresh eggs available for breakfast as well as a bunch of other choices. Owner was also conscientious in offering gluten free alternatives to some of the breakfast items if needed. A wonderful place to stay within walking distance of Portree.

The accommodation was outstanding. Susan was very welcoming and the rooms were comfy, roomy, and well designed. Breakfast was excellent. 4 rooms and 4 tables of two set up with all the extras. Fridges in the room. The location is a short walk to Portree. Free parking provided on site. This accommodation is perfect in every way!!!! Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to the Isle of Skye.

Lovely b and b, run superbly by Susan and Donald. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Located in quiet spot, while easy walk to Portree. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious every day, especially the mushrooms.

Great location within walking distance to Pitlochry shops and restaurants. Hosts were terrific, breakfast was lovely, room was comfortable and plenty of parking.

Great place to stay on Skye. Room was clean and accommodated our needs very well. The host, Susan, is a lovely woman. She made a wonderful cooked to order breakfast each morning. Her home is within walking distance to downtown Portree. Skye is very busy with tourists, which can be challenging.

The hostess was extremely accommodating heating food for us we got at the grocery due to all the restaraunts being closed or not accepting walk-ins. MAJOR downside to Portree. The location was good.

The grout between the bathroom floor tiles needed cleaned. A luggage stand would have been helpful.

The choice for breakfast was great and the service was nice and pleasant. The host was very nice and friendly.

The electric shower was awful. Very poor flow of water and struggled to wash properly. The toilet was broken on our arrival and even though attempts to fix the problem , the toilet continually flushed all through the night. The room was small, not enough space to store our belongings and move around the room freely.

We loved our stay here the room was perfect it was recently done over and it was beautiful very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast! Very easy walk to the city centre would highly recommend

Susan is a very great hostess. She makes you feel very much at home. She goes out of her way to make you comfortable. The room is exceptionally clean, the bed is super comfy and the bathroom is updated and perfect. Heated towel rack is a classy touch. Don’t think twice about renting. I recommend

Handy location, about 15 mins walk into Portree. Small B&B with 4 rooms. Parking (free on site). Friendly owner. Good bed. Nice and quiet room. Cake on arrival. Nice breakfast. Nice Arran toiletries. Big Coop supermarket a few mins away.

Towels smellt damp. Attention to detail could be improved - some breakfast plates not completely clean and the brown toast had some mould on it. Batteries in tv remote done - couldn't use. Room could have been a bit warmer. Bathroom needs clothes hooks and another shelf.

Wonderful B+B in Isle of Skye, Scotland. very central to all the sites and walking distance to Portree for food and shopping. Susan and Donald were extremely kind as well

Very quiet, lovely and warm and yet still able to control our own room temperature with heater and openable windows, home cooked breakfasts with good range of choices, sitting room with comfortable chairs and books and puzzles, lovely woodland walk by the stream to get into the village (as well as road option), Scorrybreac walking circuit was amazing.

No blind for the window and we didn’t know how to close the curtains without getting in the way of the heater!

Susan was the perfect host and nothing was too much effort. Susan's local knowledge and advice was much appreciated. The room was perfect, with one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. Recommend the porridge! Location is very convenient, being 5 mins walk from Portree centre.

Couldn't fault our stay.

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts. They provided tourist information for the surrounding area sites, restaurants and shopping. Our room had everything we would possibly need and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was amazing and fuelled our hike up The Old Man of Storr in rain, 50mph winds and sideways hail. Thank you for contributing to our special memories made in Scotland!

Lovely place within walking distance to town. Had a really nice reception from Susan. She was very helpful. She helped us call for laundry service and made it easy for us to leave our laundry and get it back nicely folded. It was a convenient base to visit all the major sites on the Isle of Skye.

Fantastic B&B that is a very short and easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Portree. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Susan and her property were just what we needed for our stay in Portree. The house is just a short walk to the town center, and is right next door to a gas station and grocery store. If you’re driving, there’s ample parking in the front gravel lot. The breakfast is phenomenal, and the rooms were perfect. We had a mini fridge in ours which saved us since we packed a lot of snacks for hikes!

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Only complaint is that as an international traveler it was difficult to reach out to the hosts regarding check in timing. you have to reach out to them a few days ahead if you are going to be using email as opposed to getting a note from the hosts.

Such an amazing experience susan was an awesome host that went out of her way to make things perfect and that she did. Beautiful home cooked breakfast every morning and a spotless home definitely going back to stay on our next trip

We loved Creagory Skye. The moment we arrived and met Susan we felt at home- welcomed, comfortable and relaxed. It was quiet and comfortable for a good nights sleep. The room was well equipped and our bathroom was spacious. The breakfast had a good selection of options and was delicious. Susans homemade banana bread was a favourite treat of mine. I can thoroughly recommend Creagory Skye.

We had a brilliant stay in Creagory Skye. Lovely clean B and B. With en-suite rooms. Bed was really comfy. Large bathrooms with shower. Easy parking. Only a short walk to Portree with bars and restaurants. Susan was a lovely host and very welcoming and informative. Lovely touches in the rooms. Hope to go back soon.

What a find! The room and en suite were beautifully decorated with little extras to make us welcome. The breakfasts far exceeded any expectation being both delicious and plentiful. The hosts were so kind and helpful we can't praise this lovely plave enough.

This is just a darling place! The owner Susan was so sweet and my breakfast every morning was incredible. Only about an 8-10 minute walk from the town square. The accommodations were top notch & really gave you that cozy island feel. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Skye!

Such a nice homely comfortable stay with a delicious breakfast and Susan an Donald were great people with great advice for Skye.

First off, the hostess was so friendly and welcoming The room was huge and very clean. Bed was super comfy (the best we had during our 15 days trip to Scotland) Oh and the breakfast... we cannot forget the breakfast... it was far more than perfect! Everything was perfect, wish could come back some day.. Thank you very much!

The location was very convenient to restaurants and other shops as well as for exploring the island. We had a quite spacious room, clean and beautifully decorated and all amenities provided. Breakfast was great and our hosts were both friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay. Parking was also onsite and private.
