The Wi-Fi was terrible and meant we could not stay in touch with our family or even watch tv some nights. Very limited facilities for self catering with only a microwave, toaster and no bowls for cooking in. No wine glasses.

Clean and roomy

The outdoor lights stay on all night and are extremely bright, room was darker in day time with blinds shut.

Wir hatten zu dem günstigen Preis viel weniger Komfort erwartet. Mitten in der Wildniss bietet die Lodge saubere DZ mit zwei Queenbetten, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine. Trails in allen Schwierigkeiten sind mir dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Verpflegung sollte vorher erfolgen. Der Generalstore hält nur das Nötigste parat. Die Gaststätten im Ort schliessen zeitig und haben wechselnde Öffnungszeiten.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Simple check in experience which was great, very smooth.

We were lucky we had the second floor with a view; this is a very good option in Port Renfrew. We will definitely stay there again. Good cost-quality option. A little bit older facility but feels cozy and quiet.

Check out time is 10 a.m., it is way too early.

Room was very clean. The small coffee maker was great.

We had trouble unlocking the door with the code. After over 10 tries, the neighbor finally got it to open after 6 tries.

Literally no view of anything, but compared to other properties in this area that are priced the same it’s fine for a place to sleep.

Zu wenig Geschirr. Eng. Lauter Kühlschrank und noch lauterer Heizlüfter, der automatisch gesteuert wurde, zwischendurch ging er mal aus, schrecklich. Wenn man im Untergeschoss wohnt, hört man jeden Schritt der Bewohner. Unsere waren generell lange wach und um halb 5 wieder. Wir wären froh nur 2 Nächte gebucht zu haben.

Responsiveness of the guest services team was top notch! Rooms were clean and exactly as pictured on the website. Short walk away from Renfrew Pub which was a great spot for dinner.

The lights right outside our rooms were very bright at night - would be nice to have an option to turn them off. Alternatively locating them further away from the window. The door mat in our room curled up on two corners which could be a tripping hazard for a future guest.

Die Lage ist einmalig und die Unterkunft ist sehr preiswert. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in ruhiger Umgebung. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber dem Preis angemessen. Der örtliche Pub ist absolut top.

close to the only open restaurant/pub in the area; the sauna was nice and had a nice view, it was nice to have it booked in advance just for our group. The rooms were clean and had good toiletries. I liked the dining chairs and table. The food at the only place to eat was excellent.

Port Renfrew has no other places open after supper. The only pub is very busy. The rooms were comfortable, the sauna was nice but sad to see there was an extra $70 charge on top of the already expensive hotel rooms. There was no cable in the rooms so unable to watch TV or movies at end of night.

The sheets did not fit the bed properly and kept coming off. It was a hot day and there is no airflow in the room. The fan wasn’t great. The windows need blackout curtains.

Location was great, very close to botanical beach and botany bay, spacious room, responsive staff.

Could be a bit cleaner. Wifi doesn't work well always but not bad, considering you're not spending much time scrolling when you're visiting the islan.

Liked that it was close to the tide pools

A microwave would it been nice to have. We were there for 5 nights and that was too long for us, raining and no amenities really. No microwave and our only option was eating out every day. Supper expensive.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean. Location is terrific - walkable to pub with vegetarian options for eating and also within walking distance to the cafe for terrific breakfast and great coffee.

You no need adapt your travel for check-in, they provide you with code for the room access.

No air conditioning in the room, if you travel in summer, be ready will be super hot. My rooms was with 2 beds, 2 pillows covers from one bed was with hairs. Bathroom was super small.

Grandiose Lage um in die Natur abzutauchen. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und sehr hilfsbereites Personal.

Das elektrische Türschloss funktionierte einen späteren Abend leider nicht richtig als wir todmüde aus Victoria zurückkamen. Die Rettung fanden wir durch die Hilfe eines Angestellten des Pubs Gegenübers, der grade am reinigen war. Eine Notfallnummer für Hilfe außerhalb der Rezeptionszeiten wäre wichtig, hier reicht die angegebene email Adresse nicht.

Close to Botany bay and Botanical garden which was our aim to explore. We enjoyed our stay and would stay more if their a chance.

Thin walls and thin ceilings. Can hear noise after 11 pm and before 7 am.

I stayed for seven days, great place and location. I think a broom would have been nice to sweep sand out each evening.

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlichund absolut ruhig. in Gehdistanz hat es ein gutes Restaurant ( eines der wenigen). Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die West Coast Trail Lodge eignet sich sehr gut als Zwischenstopp auf der Marine Route, zum Besuch des Botanical Beach oder als Start/Endpunkt des Juan de Fuca Trails.

Ruhige Lage, sauber, absolut günstig, Personal war sehr bemüht, als das Schloss mit Code nicht funktionierte und reagierte schnell, bekamen ohne Nachfrage auch einen kostenlosen Saunabesuch zum Ausgleich für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Wunderschöne Umgebung, unbedingt Botanical

Kleiner dunkler Raum der mit zwei Doppelbetten vollgestellt war, Fenster auf Veranda, auf der alle Gäste vorbeigingen, keine Aufenthaltsraum mit Sitzmöglichkeit. Vorsicht bzgl. Frühstückseinkauf: Einziger Grocery-Shop im Ort nimmt nur Cash und einziger ATM im Pub war defekt, also cash mitnehmen oder Einkauf vorher erledigen.

Staff were wonderful, very friendly and very responsive. Also really enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge facilities.

It wasn’t very clean. The fitted sheet on the king was too small so we would often find ourselves lying on the mattress protector. We had 2 duvets— we requested an extra for warmth, and both duvets were incredibly stained, with some staining also on the sheets. We knew they were not permanent colour stains because there were solid bits of food / dried bodily fluids stuck to the stains. Also the bed wasn’t comfortable.

Ich hatte mit dem Zimmer leider etwas Pech: die Matratze extrem weich und der Kühlschrank extrem laut und vor dem Fenster eine Lampe, damit war es nachts sehr hell im Raum.

Staff at guest services were very welcoming and helpful, esp Alida and Tannis. Overall location and stay and the property were all very good except there was no microwave, especially when most eating places shut down at 3pm, it would have been great to have a microwave in the room.

Clean and spacious. Check in was a breeze. Bed and washroom linen was super nice and gave a premium feel. Staff was super friendly and helpful..

Availability of a small microwave would have completed the facility. Being a vegetarian, we normally bring our own food and heat it up before eating generally..

Everything was good :) Shower was great but fan was not working. Needed a garbage can in the common area. Coffee maker worked great but the "pour pot" would make a bit of a mess. It had a power bar for plugging in all our things but I did end up relocating it near the beds for night time cellphone charging.

Everything was fine. We liked our stay and would definitely stay again :)

I did not like the communications before check in. AI made it very confusing, asking for my credit card information even though it had already been paid. It also gave incorrect information. The lady at the service center when we arrived was very nice and helpful.

The king bed room and bathroom were nicely renovated and well furnished.

No staff! Just lots of text messages and limited ability to connect with anyone. No housekeeping during the stay. Did meet a nice staff member in the lodge on second day. Would be helpful to have curtains on the windows as bright lights flooded in all night around the blinds. Basically checked ourselves in and out, which was a surprise. No signage on website that Juan de Fuca trail has been closed for 18m. Not WF’s responsibility, but would have been very helpful to know. Nice room.

The place was very nice in the nature, quiet area and very close to the sea. The room was very clean and tidy and it was convenient to have a fridge and a kettle for breakfast!

The neighbours were quite loud, and the WiFi was very slow, but it's a remote place so it's better to enjoy the nature anyway. Other than that the hotel was very nice.

The sauna is a must.

The lodge was comfy, clean, and no fuss. Easy to get in touch with help. Location was great.

Das Zimmer mit den zwei Queensize-Betten war sehr geräumig und auf den ersten Blick auch sauber. Man konnte die Lodge gut als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung nutzen. Der Online-Check-In hat reibungslos funktioniert. Kaffee und Tee wurden zur Verfügung gestellt.

Leider war es insbesondere auf dem Nachttisch (Lampe + Telefon) sehr staubig, außerdem waren an der unteren Matratze des einen Bettes (Blut-(?))Flecken und der Boden war auch nicht wirklich sauber. Die eigentlich helle Sohle meiner Hausschuhe war nach zwei Nächten schon sehr dunkel. Das Wasser lief in der Dusche sehr schlecht ab und der Hahn am Waschbecken machte häufig den ganzen Bereich inkl. Wand nass. Es gab zwar einen Tisch aber keine Stühle, um diesen entsprechend nutzen zu können.

Une bonne literie dans un espace très cocooning, c’est très beau à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur une belle nature. L’effort pour nous communiquer les documents en français .

Nice quiet location and nice rooms! Close to trails and beaches!

The slogan is "Wild Renfrew" BUT the outside lights - doorway, balcony, patio, stairs etc. - were on ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Meaning electricity serving about 50 lamps WHOLE NIGHT and EVERY NIGHT. What an ecoligical waste!?!? AND I couldn t sleep - way too bright!

Rooms were clean, toilet bowl too low, TV channel did not work as the Wifi was too slow.

I was very pleased overall but room smelled musty. (As I have a lung condition, this was a concern). Otherwise everything was great!

Comfortable, clean room with a nice short walk down to the Renfrew Pub (which we really liked).

Enjoyed are time here. However, having to deal with your own garbage and recycling to a non findable garbage was annoying. We had no contact with any staff - check in all online.

Our room was great! Clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Habing a fan provided was a nice plus as we like to sleep with that on. Only negative was we thought our room was supposed to have a microwave and it didnt. So we brought food that had to be microwaved and took it back home. Other than that great room! Also super glad the tv has roku. So we were able to watch the shows and movies we wanted! Oh, also strange that we had to wash all the dishes before we leave? But no soap is provided. So we used the bar soap from the bathroom. Gross. Also had to empty our own garbage and recycling. Not sure if we will stay again for those reasons. Would probably just come back with all disposables.

Room was excellent. Customer support by e mail was quick and efficient. Parking arrangements not so good, and couldn’t find trash and recycling when we were leaving. Only restaurant was the pub, where food and service were good, but not possible to book and long wait time.
