Nakia at front desk super helpful room view fabulous. Lived the water activities
Breakfast was a little step 100 dollars for two with tax and tip . Construction on the dock was loud
Absolutely beautiful with an amazing trail to walk behind that leads to the beach. Lots of photo ops!
A little noisy
The beach is beautiful and the location is excellent. The kayaks and paddleboards were a great touch and easily the best part of the stay
Check-in is listed at 4 PM, but we only received our room close to 5 PM. When we asked for a late checkout, the staff were not very accommodating. When we finally got into the room, it was still wet from housekeeping. The bed was uncomfortable, to put it mildly. Breakfast billing was confusing. I prepaid $25 per person for breakfast as part of my reservation, with taxes included in the total. After breakfast, I was handed a bill for $39 per person plus tax and gratuity. I was told this is how everyone is charged and that a credit is applied at checkout, but I still don’t understand why I was taxed again, and the whole process made no sense from a guest’s point of view. Most hotels in Key Largo run $150 to $300 a night. This resort charges over $800, which would be fine if the experience justified it. As a family that comes to Key Largo at least 4 to 5 times a year, we did not find the added value to match the price.
The property is beautiful and peaceful, with a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing and spending quality time with family. The surroundings and ocean views are lovely, and overall it’s a great place to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the Keys.
My only complaint is that I would love to see more entertainment, especially music, and more water activities for guests to enjoy. Some areas of the property are also still under construction, which takes away a little from the overall experience. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.
The Valet Parking Guy was super nice!!!

Beach, activities, food, bar, employees.
Nothing
location bay paddleboards & kayaks, shaded beach seating
water could have been clearer, air smelled too much, too many kids in the pool.
Nice rooms, comfy beds, bar and restaurant staff very good and food generally excellent
Reception staff not always friendly, children running around the site feral outside our rooms after midnight for over an hour each night, shouting and screaming, no accountability from parents and hotel didn’t stop them, expensive hotel for effectively a holiday camp, on beach towel warriors putting out many many towels on sunbeds first thing then leaving for hours which should have been moved by the beach staff
Rien
Trop gros , pas assez de transat
The pools and the beach were in close proximity.
The beach area was safe and relaxing. The tropical plants all around the property were beautiful.
Het was prachtig, mooi ligging, leuk strand en de mogelijkheden om in de schaduw aan de waterkant te zitten. Lekker eten! Top
Niets, alles was perfect

A beautiful location with a private beach. Calm waters and a wonderful natural setting.
The staff could be friendlier towards foreigners. The food at the beach restaurant could also be better.
Valdez was a fantastic server and we had a wonderful dining experience with him.
Perfect vacation! Tashana is super!
I’ve truly had a wonderful experience while at Baker’s Cay Resort. The food is good and the atmosphere is great. But the staff, they are truly AMAZING!!! The treat you with kindness, warm smiles and genuine conversations. Tashana at Calusa restaurant is so sweet. The DJ at the Silent Disco party kept our bodies jumping. I loved the pools (kids friendly side and the Adults Only side 😎). The warm, clear beach water was nothing but Amazing! I definitely recommend this Resort. You won’t be disappointed.
My overall experience was amazing! The food was so great, the activities they had were so fun and very family friendly , and the staff. The staff were absolutely wonderful they didn’t just help us out the got to know each one of us by taking there time with each person and their needs. I would 100% come back!
Always a pleasure to stay at Baker's cay. Come for the view, the water, the vibe... Stay for the great service!
Baker's Cay is an amazing place to have fun and relax in the keys. The resorts staff is amazing and is a great relaxing place to unwind from the grind of work. They provide daily activities for the kids and family that are always fun. We will be back next year. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. We had an awesome 11 days!!!
Tashana made our dining experience at Bakers Cay Resort truly exceptional. From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, incredibly sweet, and always one step ahead of anything we needed. She has such a warm and welcoming personality, and everything she did felt effortless and genuine. It’s clear she takes pride in providing outstanding service. She made us feel well taken care of without ever being intrusive, and her positive attitude made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Tashana, for your excellent hospitality; we’ll definitely be back!
Sandra our server for breakfast was excellent. Greeted us with a warm and beautiful smile.
From the moment We arrived to the resort it was applasher great service dinner Was amazing we love the snappr on the coco rice. service was very fast. later on We continue to a walk on a beautiful beach it was a great time. everyone was frendly Where at the resort for 4 Days and We definedly comming back.
We had a great experience today with Tashana as our waitress. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was wonderful, and she made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you, Tashana, for taking such great care of us!
Great location in Key Largo with a full spectrum of activities, including two beaches and pools. 4th of July weekend was a bit busy and crowded but the staff and service was superb. I’ll bring my family back for sure.
Adonis in Culsa was one of the greatest servers I had! All the staff at Bakers Cay have been excellent. Adonis was attentive and nice! Plus he has a great name. Good job!
It was good good staff clean good in general
Valdez was amazing. Excellent service. Always very attentive to our needs and did a wonderful job.
Great experience. From the welcoming, to being escorted to the table and seated. The server Sandra was awesome. Food was great and the ambience was nice.
This was our second stay at Baker’s Cay, and it definitely won’t be our last! From the moment we arrived, we were reminded why we chose to come back. The entire staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Every interaction made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. A special thank you to Manager Rochelle, who was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. One of the things we appreciate most about Baker’s Cay is that it perfectly blends luxury with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. There is always something to do, and unlike many resorts, the resort fee actually feels worth it. The included activities kept our family entertained throughout our stay and added tremendous value to the overall experience. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and offers plenty of places to relax or explore. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with children, Baker’s Cay has something for everyone. We especially appreciated how easy it was for our family to enjoy quality time together without ever feeling bored. Our stay was everything we hoped for and set the tone for an amazing Florida Keys vacation. Baker’s Cay truly exemplifies the level of hospitality we’ve come to expect from Hilton, and it’s the standard we now compare other resorts to ( side note- don’t waste your time at Hilton Casa Marina it won’t come close in comparison to Baker’s Cay). Thank you to Rochelle and the entire Baker’s Cay team for another unforgettable stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Room was spacious and clean
The pool table was old
This might be the absolutely most disappointing Curio hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We came from the THesis in Coral Gables, which was incredible, so we had high hopes for Baker’s Cay. Wow were we wrong. We are Hilton Diamond members and own with Hilton Club. We are very familiar with the brand and the quality level we have come to expect. Let’s start from the beginning: 1. The folks at the front desk were less than helpful when we checked in and were trying to understand the layout of the hotel, where the beaches were, what amenities needed reservations and which didn’t. They kept saying “just look at the website”… well I did and I still have questions, so that’s why I’m asking. Referring me back to the website isn’t helpful. I wanted to reserve a cabana or day bed and needed to know where things were located, what chairs and areas required reservations, etc. 2. The property itself is old and tired. This was not built as a Hilton property. The windows and doors are rickety and you can literally hear everything and everyone. The rooms are small. The furniture is old and worn out. The beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. 3. The “beach” is more like a swamp area that’s been cleared out than an actual beach. We did see a dolphin in the bay, so one star for that. Hammock “Beach” is still a swamp with chairs randomly thrown under trees and vines… think bug central. There aren’t really waves, and it’s not really a beach… just swamp that opens to the bay. Coconut Beach is so loud and crowded you can barely move. Be sure to bring bug spray! We didn’t and tried to buy some at the hotel. It’s not something they sell. Maybe they don’t want to admit they have a problem?? We got absolutely eaten alive by mosquitoes going to dinner. 3. The dogs - people leave dogs in their rooms and you can hear dogs barking literally all night long from all different parts of the hotel. There is dog poop everywhere, and I genuinely don’t want to walk through the hotel lobby with my 5 year old daughter and have dogs jumping on her. We are dog lovers and have a dog, but this is just too much. 4. The food is barely banquet quality at best - and they don’t disclose a mandatory 20% “service fee”. We went to Calusa (best on site restaurant) for dinner. It literally tasted like food you’d get from a hotel banquet… you know the rubber tasting chicken. That was the food quality. The bill for our family of 3 (my husband, myself, a 5 year old) with no wine and 2 cocktails total was $342. What our server never mentioned is that no matter what size your party is, they automatically include a 20% service fee. No one told us and we were about to leave a tip, but when I saw the bill, I grabbed it from my husband and wanted to look to see if we got someone else’s tab. I couldn’t believe the total price for what we got. That’s when I saw the service fee. We called the manager over to ask what it was because it was never disclosed. She said it is split between the front and back of house workers. It’s dishonest and deceptive to not disclose that anywhere on the menu or tell the guests. If people aren’t looking, they’re going to be tipping on top of that. It was insult to injury on top of a really sub-par meal. Long story short, this place is an absolute cr@p hole, and I cannot believe anyone pays as much as they do to stay here. We were booked for 5 nights and we are checking out tomorrow to go to another property… back to the THesis if we have to. We are beyond disappointed and hope to spare others from this same vacation ruining fate.
Miguel took excellent care of us. Professional and lovely experience with top notch food to boot!
My first trip to Key Largos and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The staff is so sweet and I enjoyed seeing them every day. Loved the morning fishing and being able to grab a bike and take an evening ride. Food was great, and I enjoyed toasting the sunset every night. Cant wait to go back!
We had a wonderful stay at Baker’s Cay! The resort was spotless, from the room to the grounds, and everything felt very well maintained. We loved relaxing on the private beach in the hammocks and watching the sunset each evening. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience was peaceful and relaxing. We’d definitely stay here again!
Muy lindo
Nada
This is my second year and this place never disappoints me -from the staff to the food all AMAZING
It is still in my opinion the best hotel for families with children of the Keys. Location and view super. Fishing in the morning from the pier is a must for children.
Service is worsening. Internet is a disaster if someone wants to work. Restaurants are bloody expensive with mediocre quality. Fresh orange juice is just Walmart juice kept in fridge. If you bring your fish catch to cook it costs 40 bucks, just for grilling, but if you buy the same fish as a course at the same restaurant it costs 36…which makes a client uncomfortable. Just some examples.
Mandatory valet parking at $35/day when we could have easily parked ourselves. Was not the case when we booked. Amenities were in disrepair—paddle boards all had huge chunks missing from the fiberglass, glass bottom kayak was cloudy and dirty, bike tires had no tread, foosball handles fell off into our hands, pool table balls fell through the pockets and onto the floor. Our partial ocean view room was about one foot of water near the shoreline if we looked hard through the vegetation. Only one expensive restaurant on site and one bar with limited food options. Beach is very small with 3 rows of beach chairs up against each other, no ability for long walks on the beach. The only place to walk or bike was the path along the busy highway that connects all of the Keys
Tasha our waitress this morning was very nice and very helpful during our breakfast dine. Thank you Tasha!
we loved the pool, the beach, the kayaks you could rent and the breakfast place. it is located in a quaiant area among lush greenery. the main building looks really nice
the rooms could be much cleaned and updated and they had metal doors which slammed whenever someone entered their room and made it impossible to sleep. real downside when you want to relax on your holiday
Caloosa restaurante was great. Service and food incredible . SpecialllyTJ and Phalane and the whole crew were amazing
Everything in this place is perfect from the location, the scenery, especially the restaurant. Be prepare for waiting your food longer maybe because it’s memorial day weekend but their staff is exquisite. They are very attentive to our needs and respectful. My wife and I have the privilege to get their name Ms. Karen, Ms. Genalyn and Ms. Cristina thank you for giving us a wonderful service while we are there. You make our waiting time worth it. Can’t wait to come back again this year and hope to see you three!
We booked Baker’s Cay in Key Largo almost last minute to celebrate my husband’s 47th birthday, and it ended up being one of those trips we’ll genuinely remember for a long time. We came as a family of four with our two kids (8 and 10), and somehow managed to completely disconnect from reality for 48 hours straight, just one hour away from Miami. The property is beautiful. The water looks and feels like the Caribbean: crystal clear and incredibly warm, around 90°F / 32°C. Honestly, it felt like swimming in a natural heated pool. The accommodations were very good overall. My only personal downside was the mattress, which was a bit too soft for me and left me with some neck discomfort, but that didn’t take away from the experience as a whole. The hotel is pet friendly, which I know many guests probably love. For us, it was a bit of a mixed feeling, mainly because we saw dogs being held inside the pool area, which felt a little uncomfortable. What truly made the stay special was the service. Every single staff member we interacted with was warm and welcoming, but TJ at Calusa deserves a special mention. He was absolutely wonderful with our family, especially with the kids, and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, this became one of those places we already know we’ll come back to.
TJ gave us such an amazing breakfast experience! From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. He made sure everything was perfect, checked in on us regularly, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. The service was fast, friendly, and genuinely made our morning so much better. Thank you, TJ, for going above and beyond,we truly appreciated your kindness and excellent service. Highly recommend!
TJ was extremely courteous and attentive. 5 star service. Food was really good and it’s always a plus when you have a great view of the water.
We visited at least 2 times out of the year every year and all the time it’s been amazing and as a diamond member I good at picking out good service and ANDITO WAS AMAZING!!! She always checks on us I love seeing her always smiling and her skin…. I’ll be back July 4th and I’m looking forward to see her.
Definitely will be back service here is amazing and a lot a fun think to do also so relaxing. But I must say there’s 1 person smiling I always hoping to see for the weekend and that Andito she’s good at what she does and give nothing but great attitude and service. Didn’t think I thank her enough by just checking in on us but I want u to help me thank her she’s amazing and I’m definitely coming back and looking forward for that smile. Otherwise everything was smooth and we did have a good time do think I like the change of menu at dry rocks but otherwise it was a great weekend.
Amazing breakfast experience with Tashana. Great customer service that enhances an amazing ambience.
Had a stunning Memorial Day weekend here at Baker’s Cay. The staff, Jasmynn, Travis, Andita and many others, have gone above and beyond to make my stay the best it could be. Management has also been always accessible and readily available for anything. The food here is also incredible. Thank you Baker’s Cay!
Good service, fast food, food was good every time
Staff as always is amazing. Jazmen at the outside bar, Daniel and Sandra in the Calusa Restaurant took extra time and care during our stay. Their service is beyond excellent. They are truly a treasure. SADLY- the menu changed recently and the food isn’t that great compared to when we were here last year. Things were taken out of the menu and things that stayed weren’t as good. Hopefully it gets fixed soon! Overall, great place and great staff. Thank you
We had an amazing experience at Baker’s Cay. The resort is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The views, the beach, and the atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive from beginning to end. Everything felt clean, organized, and well taken care of. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! Ricky F and B supervisor is the best !!!
An amazing experience from beginning to end. The resort has a relaxing, clean, and very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive at all times, making us feel special from the moment we arrived. I would especially like to thank Ricky, the F&B Supervisor, for his outstanding service, professionalism, and kindness; he made our experience even more special. The facilities are beautiful and perfect for relaxing and creating unforgettable memories. I would definitely love to come back!
We had an amazing stay at Baker’s Cay Resort, and one of the highlights of our trip was the exceptional service from Ricardo, the supervisor. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Ricardo was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. His customer service and positive attitude truly made a difference during our stay. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to guest satisfaction. The resort itself was beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, but Ricardo’s attention and hospitality made our vacation even more special. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Baker’s Cay to anyone looking for a great experience in the Keys!
Tashana was great and very attentive to our needs!
Lovely location on the waterfront. Was looked after by Sandra in the Calusa restaurant for a fantastic breakfast. Thank you Sandra
Service in the restaurant was very nice! Tashana a was attentive and very accommodating. And the food was also great!
Good breakfast and service. TJ is the best.
Stunning location, quiet beach. Very clean and well equipped room
Demario at Dry Rocks was terrific. Made our stay at Baker’s Cay very memorable.
Location is great. The best part of this hotel is the beach.
Rooms are looking run down, bed sheets need to be replaced, some furniture pieces looked damage (mini fridge cabinet), mirrors were stained. In the morning you can hear every single door slammed. Food was the worst part. The quality of both restaurants have declined since the last time we stayed.
I had an amazing birthday dinner at Calusa. We had just arrived to Key Largo…two families traveling with small babies. The large patio overlooking the water transported us from hectic travelers to oasis loungers. Delicious food and our wonderful server Virgina who saw to making us all feel welcomed, appreciated, and special.
Just checked in and this property is amazing ! Amanda and Virginia are great ! Highly recommend .
The breakfast was nice, even though our waiter could never recognize us after serving us twice. Not to mention calling us by name!!! The beach was excellent, a petty thing, you are not allowed to smoke a cigar, and you will be kindly invited to move your ass to the parking lot for that purpose. The staff, generally speaking, is average except JP, the bartender who works for 3 guys and probably doesn't get the right compensation. He fixed two drinks for us in a zip and passed our food order to the kitchen. I enjoyed the best Cuban sandwich I had in years!!!! Our dog had a blast for the first time at the beach!!! We missed the poop bags, as all containers were empty all the time.
We were kicked out by an employee from the Hammocks beach as we were walking through in direction to our room. This tall dude with a beard, dreadlocks, and a diva attitude simply blocked our way through the beach walk and made us walk back the entire property (barefoot) in the opposite direction to get back to our room. I felt like a second-class guest, as if my money wasn't worth anything in the place we were staying at. He probably was angry for God knows what reason and took it with us. I have never seen anyone so rude working in hospitality.
Best vacation in a long time. The excellent service made me finally feel taken care of for once! All staff, every single member of the resort staff stating with bellman and front desk from the moment I arrived made me feel so incredibly welcome. Valdez and Stacy at the Dry Rocks restaurant really took the cake with their unending friendliness and hospitality. We became friends. Thank you all!
My husband and I chose Baker's Cay for our warm-weather getaway this spring, and we are so glad we did! The location and views were exactly what we had hoped for, and the staff's kindness and courtesy greatly exceeded our expectations. While the weather was absolutely perfect during our stay, it was the staff that made our experience so wonderful. We are especially thankful for Ricky, whom we befriended before we even officially checked in, and who always had a smile to share and ensured we were taken care of. This was our first time visiting, but it certainly won't be our last!
Demario was sweet amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with him very much, he was such a pleasure!!!
Excellent experience all around except for dogs being allowed in the restaurants.
Great food, beautiful view. Valdez our server was wonderful.
La playa muy buena
La piscina
Valdez was a wonderfully kind server and management went above and beyond for my family during breakfast. Delicious avocado toast.
Baker’s Cay understood the assignment. Beautiful property, laid-back luxury, great food, and friendly staff (especially Valdez). The vibe is upscale without being pretentious, which is harder to find than people realize. The sunsets? Ridiculous. The staff? Friendly and actually helpful. The grounds are gorgeous, clean, and peaceful without feeling boring. I came for a weekend escape and immediately started mentally calculating how long I could stay before my job noticed I disappeared. Only warning: once you sit by the water with a drink in your hand, your motivation to return to real life drops significantly. Would absolutely come back.
Great food, cocktails, sunset and service. Virginia was amazing with her suggestions and photo taking skills. Super cool spot for a sunset view
n amazing experience at Baker's Cay Resort Key Largo, especially at the restaurants Calusa and the Beach Bar. Jesse Martinez, Ricky Daly, and Sarah were absolutely incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Jesse, Ricky, and Sarah truly made our visit memorable with their professionalism, kindness, and positive energy.
We had an amazing time at Baker’s Cay Resort Key Largo. From check-in to checkout, the level of hospitality truly set this place apart. Ricky Daly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home — his warmth and attention to detail were unmatched. Jesse Martinez and Sarah were equally wonderful, always greeting us with a smile and ready to help with whatever we needed. Dining at Calusa was a highlight, and the beach bar quickly became one of our favorite spots to unwind. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfectly made, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. What really stood out, though, was the service — every staff member we encountered made us feel like part of the family, not just guests passing through. If you’re searching for a getaway that combines beautiful surroundings with truly exceptional service, Baker’s Cay is the place. We can’t wait to come back.
We just returned from a wonderful family stay at Baker’s Cay Resort Key Largo, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Ricky Daly was absolutely fantastic, warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. Jesse Martinez and Sarah were equally amazing, always greeting us with a smile and ready to help with anything we needed. What truly touched our hearts was how wonderful the staff was with our 4-year-old grandson. He was so happy throughout the entire stay, and everyone treated him with such kindness and care. It meant the world to us as grandparents to see him having the time of his life and being made to feel special at every turn. We enjoyed delicious meals at Calusa and spent some unforgettable moments at the beach bar great food, refreshing drinks, and the most welcoming atmosphere. The entire team treats you like family, which made our getaway feel personal and truly memorable. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape where the whole family, kids and grandkids included will be cared for like their own, Baker’s Cay is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return. Thank you
Virginia was amazing! We dined at Calusa for a bday dinner, it was delicious! Beautiful view.
Valdez at Calusa was the best waiter by far! We really enjoyed our breakfast and his wonderful service. This was our first trip to Bakers Cay and we absolutely loved it. We travel the Caribbean frequently and this is close to home without long flights with connections. I have wanted to come here for a long time and it did not disappoint. The Keys are not known for the beaches, but Key Largo was beautiful. The beach here was crystal clear and smooth as glass. The resort is gorgeous with lots of nature. Feels like a far away paradise
Valdez the waiter was amazing! Great service and attention to detail.
Sandra our server was great with us! Great view on the water
Valdez was very attentive and caring on how he took care of us.
Sandra was an absolute highlight of our brunch at Calusa! She was warm, attentive, and full of genuine Keys hospitality—making recommendations that were spot-on and checking in perfectly without being intrusive. Her energy and care made the beautiful waterfront setting and fresh seafood taste even better. We’d happily request her table again. Top-tier service!”
Valdez was awesome at Calusa. Great breakfast.
Great experience and wonderful food! Service was impeccable. Great job Valdez!
One of the most beautiful resorts we’ve stayed at, cannot wait to come back!!
Tashana was amazing!! Food was great
We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our visit. We particularly loved having Sandra as our server at breakfast. She has such a wonderful personality and was superb at her job. I hope that when we return that she will still be there.
My brother and I went to the breakfast and had a wonderful experience. Valdez, who was our waiter was extremely helpful, caring and patient while serving us. He was there when we needed him and helped guide us in making our delicious food choices. My experience was far beyond superior and I look forward in going back soon.
Tashana is amazing and is the best we’ve ever worked with and we come just to the restaurant to see her. She is amazing and we love her and we love coming to this place just to see her and she’s always great to us and treat us so well it makes us feel so special.
Beautiful views even better food and amazing service! Virginia was an amazing server and recommended some amazing food!
