Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war sehr schön, allerdings hatten wir diese Zimmerkategorie auch genau so gebucht. Der Poolbereich war grundsätzlich sehr schön und großzügig – abgesehen von der viel zu lauten Musik.

Im Familienzimmer mussten wir zunächst selbst das Reinigungspersonal suchen, damit wir überhaupt Bettwäsche für das Ausziehbett der Kinder bekamen. Besonders ärgerlich war die Regelung beim Frühstück. Bei einer Buchung über Booking.com wird angegeben, dass das Frühstück für vier Personen inkludiert ist. Tatsächlich erhält man jedoch lediglich einen Wertgutschein über 100 US-Dollar pro Frühstück für vier Personen. Da bereits die kleinsten Gerichte etwa 30 US-Dollar kosten und Kaffee zusätzlich verrechnet wird, ist es praktisch unmöglich, mit vier Personen innerhalb dieses Betrags zu bleiben. Dazu kommen noch rund 20 % Trinkgeld. Diese Darstellung auf Booking.com ist daher aus unserer Sicht sehr irreführend. Auch für Hotelgäste kostet das Parken zusätzlich 25 US-Dollar pro Nacht. Am Strand wurden Essensreste, Becher und anderer Müll von vorherigen Gästen teilweise nur sehr schleppend oder gar nicht entfernt. Die Musik am Pool war zudem viel zu laut und störend. Besonders negativ blieb uns der Check-out in Erinnerung: Die Managerin war ausgesprochen unfreundlich und wenig kundenorientiert. Insgesamt entspricht der Service in mehreren Punkten keinesfalls dem Preisniveau des Hotels.

I always like that everyone is very attentive, courteous and kind. The hotel is always super clean including the pool. This is my favorite place to go on vacation.

We arrived here to start our two week vacation in the Keys. We booked 3 rooms and each one was ready when we arrived. Unfortunately one of the rooms was damaged when we arrived but a quick trip to reception sorted it. The resort itself is very chilled. Breakfast was lovely although there was a bit of upselling in there. The best bit of the resort was the beach frontal. At night this turns into something very special. The sunsets from there are a must see and I even floated in the sea watching it until it was dark. The pool area is nice but the pool does get way too warm. Drinks are available poolside but be prepared for “island time” as these can take a while to arrive! All in all a lovely stay and would recommend.

Excellent as always. From start to finish. Omiel at Sol to Venessa at checkout. The property is just beautiful. The food is amazing(wishing for some more vegetarian options the next time we come!). The drinks are always my favorite part. Bobby made the best espresso martini!! What I love most though is how we are heard! We never have had major issues but the minute anything is brought up they immediately, on the spot, address it!! There is so much I can go on and on about. This is our third stay and we still haven’t explored everything. I will be diving into the spa and maybe a pilates class next time! Thank you for another amazing stay and another amazing anniversary celebration.

This resort is beautiful and fun. They offer some fun activities without being so loud you can’t relax. Beautiful beach with water sports available. Rooms are clean and updated and beds are extremely comfortable. Restaurants are good. We loved La Marea restaurant in the hotel. Our waitress Macy was excellent and sweet with the kids. We really enjoyed our time here.

Malia was an excellent server, drinks are delicious and dinner was perfect!

This was my first trip back to the keys in 7 years and I am beyond happy with my experience at Playa Largo! Favorite place I’ve stayed at by far! Every meal we ate and drink we drank was phenomenal. We checked out the spa and spent half the day there after our deep tissue massages. Our villa was homey, clean and had everything we needed! Special shoutout to Macy at the Italian restaurant, Jacqueline and Guerdy at the breakfast, Cynthia at Sol by the Sea, Fritz and Nelly at the pool bar; those are just the names I remembered but truly every person we came in contact with here made our stay that much better. The cherry on top was this was the first trip I was able to bring my dog. We were able to swim at the beach and bring her to sit at our feet at the restaurants on property— where they brought her water every time!! My family and I are already talking about our next trip back to Playa Largo- fantastic all around!!

We had a fabulous trip to Key Largo earlier this month and stayed at our favorite hotel, Playa Largo. We have made several trips to this hotel for location and amenities but mostly for the staff. We were so happy to see Sasha and Edwin at the Sand Bar again - they have taken care of us for several years and always with a smile and great conversation! Sasha created a new drink for me and took great care of my kids! We met Jean at the Sand Bar and he was just as wonderful! We also had the pleasure of seeing Paul & Kerry Ann in La Marea - always happy and smiling and fabulous customer service! And Kerry Ann recognized me from a year ago! I truly find this amazing as I know she has helped so many people but remembers us from one breakfast last year! Our family will return and hope to see these same smiling faces next year! Also, Cristine & Emily helped me after the visit via the chat feature. Thank you! This was the first year I found a little clean up needed in the buildings, mainly the hallways of the guest rooms. We saw the same trash items for days in a row during our stay, despite staff being present for room turnover daily. The rooms were overall good, but the bathrooms were not as clean as last year. They were “surface clean” but appeared as though it was time for a “deeper clean” (ex: pink bacteria in the shower corners and grout). I still enjoy this hotel and will return as overall it was a great experience.

Jacqueline at the morning buffett in Los Osos was a doll. Such a delight to talk with her first thing in the morning, she was always ready to get my day started with coffee! So friendly.

Jacqueline was amazing! She is very personable and made us feel like we were family. She was attentive to our needs as well without interrupting. She went out of her way to serve us. That’s how you make raving fan customers. On the not so good side. The front desk and concierge don’t answer the phone when you call 8 times. They also don’t answer the phone when you call the main number. How many customers are having a bad experience because when they need something that can’t talk to someone? This Hotel is simply amazing and the staff are wonderful. The fact that I was able to bring my dog it was also a HUGE plus. The rooms are big and have a Nespresso machine, I cannot ask for more. Please keep up the good work.

We just had a wonderful stay at the Playa Largo. Its such a nice resort in Key Largo. But the best part had to be Manuel at the pool bar. Of course he made great drinks and delivered our food order promptly... blah blah blah. But then he let us taste concoctions that he made for other guests. I think this was because he was hot for my 88 year old mother in law. And she was hot for him too! Soon she was grabbing his chin and pinching is cheek and calling him darling. He blushed and we all had such fun together. Long live Manuel. May every bartender take lessons from him!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, and I honestly don’t want to leave. My favorite time of the day was always breakfast at Las Olas. Every morning we were welcomed by Jacqueline and her smiling face. The breakfast layout has to be one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! Her and her staff were always very attentive to us! I will miss you dearly!

Our stay from beginning to end was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always smiling and interacting with our children. Jacqueline at breakfast upstairs was very polite. Bobby, Thomas and Fritz at the outside bar were great! Big thank you to the guys working the smores at night. Yoly made are experience memorable before we even arrived! The location of the resort is in a great spot. You’re able to walk across the street and do a little shopping. Rooms and all areas of resort were very clean. Amenities were super fun. We weren’t able to use everything but our kids had a blast fishing everyday. The best atmosphere at the pool and sunset is something you would see on a postcard. We definitely recommend bringing bug spray. Unfortunately the mosquitos get a bit annoying. One thing I didn’t see but maybe I missed it. If you’re looking for speciality coffee i wasn’t able to find any on the property. And lastly Id love to see a frozen espresso martini added to the menu. This is our 3rd time coming to Playa Largo and we will definitely be back!

We loved this hotel. We loved the pool and the beach. My son loved fishing on the pier and we saw dolphins and manatees there. Rooms were very nice and beds comfortable.

Well 1st when we got to the room I noticed the mini fridge bar bottles were empty Then there were some questionable stains on the sofa, had to ask for an extra bed sheet to cover it. The shower head was rusty brown and some hair stuck on it. The indoor hallway light fixture were so dusty that previous guest had literally inscribed “clean me” on them. But to make things worse I found some KY personal sex lubricant in the night stand that house keeping missed. May be a good idea to get someone to do Quality Control

Enjoyed our mid summer family trip to the beach. Selected the Key Largo for its snorkeling, however, we were slightly disappointed in the snorkeling. Playa Largo did not disappoint. We have great rooms that were spacious, a wonderful breakfast in which Jacqueline and Gurde attended to us magnificently. Best time of the trip was the pool side cabana and alternating between beach and pool. Thank you Yoli for everything you did and we hope to return soon!

We had an incredible stay. The staff is hardworking and kind. The food is amazing. And the whole resort is incredibly clean. We will definitely be back!

Loved the pool, the beach was stunning and the shallow area of sea was like being in the Bahamas, just stunning! They also give you a free fishing rod and bait every day, which is great fun for the family catching lots of fish at the end of the pier.

Liked it all, I guess the Cabanas seemed a little expensive. At times it was tricky to get a bed by the pool, you really had to be up and down early, or you would be on the beach. To me they could perhaps have had more beds by the pool, I felt like there was space. There were always lots of beds at the beach

Jacqueline did an amazing job taking care of our family at breakfast. She made sure our son could have food as he had food allergies. She was wonderful!!

Jacqueline was an amazing breakfast server! She is very attentive and always a pleasure to see! I enjoyed seeing her every morning at the Playa Largo! Eros, Sasha, and Jean at the Sandbar also are friendly faces that feel like friends and family as much as Jacqueline. This place has really great staff that definitely make it a place we would want to come back to many times. They are a big reason this place is so easy going.

My wife and I went for a three night stay to celebrate her birthday. Bad choice. Of the two restaurants only one is air-conditioned. The open air restaurant was sweltering and not only no extra attempt to cool it but several ceiling fans were not even working. Very limited menus in both restaurants and worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Checked in Tuesday left on Friday room was cleaned once. Toilet incredibly loud when flushed. My wife’s favorite necklace stolen from the room. They are terribly sorry. Landfill smell everywhere. Have been a Marriott member for a long time. This property was very disappointing James Drain

I had a fantastic stay! The entire staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and consistently goes out of their way to ensure guests have everything they need. A special shout-out to Jaqueline and Gurda at the Las Olas breakfast area; they truly went above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience with fresh coffee and fruit. The breakfast service itself is fabulous. I was also very impressed with the pool staff—particularly the gentleman working there, who was extremely attentive to everyone’s needs. Our family had a great time at Playa Largo! The food and drinks were delicious (our bartender, Jean, and waitress, Caro, were truly amazing and we would come back just for them!!!). The location was great and easy to get to. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, live music, and activities for all ages. The people were always helpful and so nice! The rooms were very clean and good size. The only downsides were the bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable, and on our last night we had storms that came in and somehow triggered the fire alarms.

Beware of this resort My husband and I came for diving and a romantic get away. The moment we checked in everyone was over the top nice and ready at any moment to help. Once we checked in all that stopped. The beach had potential to be beautiful. Instead of was fill of trash and rotten fruit on the chairs tables and ground. No one there to clean it up. Yes I think guests need to clean their mess up, but still it was dirty. The entire hotel smells musty. Always dirty. We never got our rooms cleaned until after 4:30 pm. When you wake up to go scuba dive and get back, you want to come back to a nice cool clean room. Nope, most days we didn’t even get housekeeping. Had to ask for fresh towels and ask for coffee. Maids acted like I was putting them out by asking for some morning coffee. Which would have been filled if they had cleaned my room. Oh but they sure took the tips on the one day we got a room clean. Also beware my personal medical bad was opened and medical syringes stolen as well as a pair of diamond earrings I had hidden in my medical bags. When we checked out, we told the lady At the counter of all that happened. She promised me the manager would call us. We also had charges on the mini bar/ pantry that we did NOT make. We didn’t use any of their items except provided coffee which was complimentary. Anyways it’s been a week and they have yet to contact me or refund me. I will never stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Playa Largo Resort & Spa! The location is absolutely amazing — being right on the bay with those beautiful views made the trip feel so special. The staff was fantastic, and I especially appreciated that after our stay I had to call with a question and they were so helpful and handled everything without any issues. That level of service really stood out. The rooms could have been a little cleaner, but the beautiful surroundings definitely made up for it. The pool area was nice, but my favorite part was enjoying the ocean and the peaceful views. Honestly, the ocean alone is worth it — waking up and being right by the water was such a beautiful experience. The little touches for families were wonderful. The kids loved the s’mores, and the Eventide sunset experience was such a cool addition. Watching the sunset and enjoying the atmosphere made the evenings feel extra special. We decided to eat off-site, and there are SO many great restaurants nearby that it was honestly hard to choose! The location makes it easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. As with most Marriott resorts, be prepared that it can be on the expensive side. However, the location, views, service, and overall experience are what you’re paying for, and for us, the ocean views alone made it worth it. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back. The beautiful views, family-friendly activities, and amazing location made it a memorable getaway.

The water cabanas are a splurge but totally worth it. Jasmine was diligent and attentive all day. We were on the water from 10am until after 7pm and she was with us the whole time. We never were without beverage or food. We swam, lounged, ate and drank all from the cabana. Great experience and for what is included, it's not bad at all. Thank you, Jasmine!!

We purchased a day pass with the water cabana. It was absolutely amazing, service, food, vibe!! The day pass is exactly that…all day. We arrived at 10:30 and didn’t leave until after dark. Jasmine was our waitress and she was fantastic. She came to check on us often making sure we had everything we needed. She even got us floaters and more towels we never left the water unless we wanted to. Definitely coming back to visit.

The water cabana was TOTALLY worth the price. The view was beautiful. We swam with lots of different fish and even a manatee. The service was the icing on the cake. Jasmine greeted us precisely when then opened service. She was always pleasant and happy. She made the experience 10x better. Thank you Jasmine!

The service is very unreliable. Sometimes it takes forever to get food at restaurants and one of the days in out stay they just didnt make the room in the whole day. When we returned at 8 pm and called, they said it would take over an hour to send housekeeping so we had to make the room ourselves and wait a lo g time for clean towels. Nobody helps you take the bags to your room either.

An amazing time with family in a very comfortable room. The resort is wonderfully locatedin Key Largo. Our valet, Javier, was amazing! His friendly smile, tone and communication skills made you realize that relaxing would be easy here. The desk staff reassured you you could relax with excellent suggestions and knowledgeable communication. Our massages were,Oh so good😌, Laura and Conor . We will return for sure!

Ambassador Elite member here. Stayed at over 100 properties with Marriot across the planet. Buyer beware here. Please read before choosing to stay here. Ok here is the positive points: -solid location -nice swimming area -convenient to everything around Playa Largo Negative points -called to confirm our three rooms and correct rooms where adjoining- didn’t happen -first room ac broken, couldn’t fix had to move us -2nd room ac broken, 3 trips from engineering. And after the final trip water starts pouring from the ceiling. (See picture) -3rd room ac doesn’t hold temp. Can’t make this stuff up, pretty wild -staff flippant about issues, simply doesn’t care. -this all occurs within the first 24 hours -buffet 4/10. This isn’t a St. Regis, but this also isn’t a courtyard brand 🫤. -mosquitos are everywhere, if you choose to bring repellant you will need it at the beach, pool and open air restaurant Many better properties in the Keys, I’d look elsewhere. Good luck out there!

We had a wonderful getaway at the Playa Largo Resort. My grandson enjoyed snorkeling right behind the hotel and fishing off the dock. The pool area is beautiful and the staff was amazing! Rooms are spacious and sparkling clean! We also ate at both restaurants. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!

Incredible experience with Jacqueline and Guerdy were amazing every morning at the breakfast bar to us. Bobby, Erod, Ana, Fritz and Briana were stand out employees that took very great care of us and made our stay special. Yoly was the best ever for helping set up anything we needed. Love the staff-thank you so much!!

Javier, the valet was amazing as was Yoli and all of the front desk staff. The resort was clean and beautiful. I say mixed feelings because I left after only one night. The main reason was primarily the place was overrun with children; with parents allowing their kids to scream and holler late into the night. When you’re paying $700 for a room you’re not looking for that. Plus the area they had roped off to swim, had baby sharks and other large fish in it so I couldn’t go in the water which was a big disappointment. I was a little surprised to find the menu items were somewhat limited, but any food I had there was really really good. Overall, staff, food and views were outstanding, I just wished it was more of a place to relax, especially when you’re paying top dollar.

Marc the valet was courteous and very welcoming. Great 1st impression.

The resort is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff needs training, no one provided a map or logistic anything on the resort. No discussion on parking, breakfast times dinner times or how many restaurants are on the property. No one seemed to know cabana costs. It took 3 people to tell me where the ice machine was, apparently only one works The front desk staff didn’t recognize BonVoy members at all. The outside bar food is way better than the restaurants. Manuel is the best bartender ever!! Go see Manny at the bar he will definitely hook you up with really great drinks. Overall my husband and I had a great time however given this resort is deemed as Autograph Collection with Marriott, I expected higher Customer Service and knowledge of the facilities. .

I honestly feel like Playa Largo is the nicest resort in the Keys. We stayed for 10 days and kept our boat in the marina. Every day we had breakfast with Jacqueline and others in the Elite lounge staff. She in particular was just so professional, caring, and delightful that it made us feel like we were home away from home. We also had a great experience with Jeremy, the docmaster, and his crew, and with the valet staff, led by Ricardo, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

My family and I ate at the restaurant in the hotel, and Francisco was amazing! He went above and beyond and was very thoughtful.

The property is gorgeous. We loved the pool and bayside beach. The sunsets here are stunning. We loved the Eventide celebrations which made the sunsets even more special. Most of all the service was excellent, especially Jacqueline at breakfast at Las Olas! Jacqueline was so attentive and made us feel so special! She is a beautiful, classy lady who takes customer service to the next level. We truly enjoyed our stay and made great memories to take home with us!

Wonderful location with a private bayside beach. Great outdoor facilities. Lovely evening sundowner events. Very kids friendly place. Amazing staff, extremely friendly and helpful.

Some hotel rooms are a little bit worn out considering this to be a 5-star hotel. If rooms are getting renovated in the future, this place becomes an absolute top destination.

Jaqueline at Las Olas was wonderful. We had breakfast every morning and she was very attentive and polite. We enjoyed our stay and the enjoyable breakfast each day was awesome.
