The resort was nice

We booked a king suite w/ balcony that was beachfront. They gave away our room due to an overnight layover (AA pulled their 9:30 flight from charlotte to Ft. Lauderdale due to mechanical issues. I called B Ocean resort at 9:47pm and Devan in reservations (no answer at the desk) promised that our room would be fine and since we were flying in the next morning it’d be ready as soon as we got there. Ended up having to stay in a jr suite that was ocean view and the price was the same. Absolutely ridiculous

Extremely overpriced; rooms were decent but not as well kept as I would’ve hoped; water in tub/shower was yellow. Food was unreasonably expensive at the resort, $26 for one cheeseburger; had to order Uber Eats. Front desk staff was rude when we said we never received a towel card, then told us they were going to charge us $25 for the card we never received. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The resort was lovely. The staff was always helpful. Would definitely be back!

The manager Mark was very accommodating and hands-on with resolving any issues that we had during our stay. Kudos to Mark and his staff!

Les transats et parasols de la plage sont payants, plus ou mois 50$ par jours. Le fer à repasser ne fonctionnait pas, prendre deux fois l’assesseur pour arrivera la chambre. Que deux assesseurs pour l’hôtel. 😅 Le prix du parking de l’hôtel encore plus cher que à Miami Beach, 70$ par jour ! A la piscine, il n’y à presque pas de place et les transats sont très vieux.

The B Resort is a great hotel. Right on the beach, multiple pools, great rooms, and just nice! However, they need a bit of a tune up. I made it to one of the pools that has the restaurant and bar with it. I had a great margarita and cuban chicken sandwich! The private beach area was my favorite part of the entire hotel. I had one of the best piña coladas in a coconut on the beach. I think they undersell how amazing the hotel is. Just needs a few touchups and updates but I am DEFINITELY going to come back!

The rooms that are not beach side aren't updated. No one answers the phone (but just go to the front desk directly and they handle everything QUICK!) I didn't have a garbage pail and the layout of the resort was confusing and was not explained to me. Just a map, directions to the elevator, and a dream. No one tells you how big the hotel, well resort, really is.

⭐️ 1 Star — Very Disappointing Stay Unfortunately, my stay at B Ocean Resort was extremely disappointing, especially considering how expensive the hotel is. As soon as we arrived and checked into our room, we noticed several issues. The room was not properly cleaned, the showers were dirty, and some of the lamps were broken. We ended up having to change rooms shortly after checking in. I will say that the front desk staff was nice enough to assist us with switching rooms, but the overall service was still very disappointing. The cleaning staff needs significant improvement. The rooms should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected before guests arrive, especially at a hotel charging these prices. Whenever we needed something, such as fresh towels or assistance with an issue, the service was extremely slow. Some of the staff were also rude and did not make us feel welcomed. For the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet those expectations. I would strongly recommend that management take a serious look at the housekeeping and customer service staff and improve their training and standards. I would not stay at B Ocean Resort again.

The check in process was not the greatest. We were downstairs at least 3 times to get a working card to access the room , The phone in our room wasn’t working so we had to go down to the front desk every time . We were in town for a wedding being held on the property so there at least 25 -30 rooms booked . The staff at the umbrella rental was not happy about having to set up umbrellas for so many people and was actually discussing his complaints very loudly where other guest commented on it .

The breakfast buffet was visually appealing and the food was delicious.

Overall the stay was nearly perfect. The worst part of the stay was the Valet Staff. They were rude, never helpful, nor did they offer help even when we were noticeably in distress. We were ignored and snubbed throughout our whole stay.

The property is close to the beach and have nice pools. The servers in the pool area were very nice!

My room was not clean. Both the faucet and the shower didn’t drain properly. I didn’t have soap neither shower gel in the bathroom, I advised the hotel team and still they didn’t bring in over. I notified the front desk team on Friday’s night and still Sunday morning we didn’t have shower gel. Beach towels were old and bad condition. The AC in my sisters room stopped working in the middle of the night, it got fixed within 2 hours but still.

The hotel had some issues. Most outlets in the room did not work and AC felt like it was not working at its full potential. Ice machine was down for a day. Fixed the next day.

The location of this hotel is excellent.

The hotel is nice but very run down and unkept. The rooms are not clean and not restocked with basic supplies. I couldn’t believe there was no hair dryer. Outlets and charging ports were broken. The pool area is so nice but the chair cushions are moldy and dirty and the umbrellas sun beaten. It has a lot of potential but needs an overhaul.

I didn’t like that the rooms were not to my cleanliness. They did this item to move to a new room, which was much better, but still wasn’t that clean. I understand that this property is very old but for what I pay I expected a lot better.

The breakfasts are delicious and varied, offering good value for money. The building is in a wonderful location, and the room offers a beautiful view. It is quiet, peaceful, and cozy here. The staff were polite, courteous, and always ready to help; any request was fulfilled immediately.

Pay more attention to the cleanliness of the corridors on the floors.

I liked the location near the beach and the little bars and shops. I liked the style of the resort and the infinity pool. The beds were very comfortable too.

I booked a king bed and the front desk lady told me I booked a double and didn’t seem to care to fix it. Since it was my birthday I didn’t wanna go back and forth , that could have been an opportunity to upgrade my room but some staff seem to lack enthusiasm bc lines be so long to simply check in and out. Also no microwave in the room had to travel to lobby of building to heat up food. Breakfast isn’t included you have to pay additional fee and when going to the pool there was no towels and dirty ones littered all over the pool and beach.

The shower was the worst kind ever. Not able to wash my hair or clean of the sand. Made complaint in the front desk. No feedback,and no kind of compensation or switch room. The most expensive carpark/valet in florida.

The view from our window was amazing. The room was spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

There were a few things we didn’t like. The hotel layout was confusing, and the elevators were slow and often crowded. We were also disappointed by the number of extra charges for services that we expected to be included, because it is a resort. The room wasn’t very clean—there were smudges and glass stains on many surfaces. Carpets are everywhere. To make matters worse, some of our belongings were damaged while we were at the beach because of the beach rules and how the staff handled the situation.

I needed to get a taxi to airport for trip home and as I didn't have taxi apps asked hotel staff for assistance and they didn't make much effort to help.

I like the fact that the location was by the ocean, and there are more activities to do.

Our stay at B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale was a very mixed experience. Unfortunately, there were far too many issues for the price of the stay. There were four paid guests in our room, yet only two bath towels were provided, and no beach towels were available. Several outlets in the room did not work, and there was a strong mildew stench in the room, possibly coming from the carpet. The pool also appeared cloudy. The early check-in fee was ridiculous, especially since the room was already ready and reserved. The beach hours were also disappointing and inconvenient, and the beach service was not particularly friendly. It was my understanding that only two beach chairs were included, but since we paid for four guests, four paying guests should have been provided with four chairs without having to pay extra. The air-conditioning unit on the balcony was obnoxiously loud and produced heat, making it unpleasant to sit outside. There was also no maid service. While I understand and support the environmental benefits of reducing daily housekeeping, there should at least be an option to have basic services such as beds made and trash removed.

Great location, great service, checkin and checkout was easy. Steve was friendly, very accommodating, we had a great corner room on the ninth floor overlooking both the ocean and the intercoastal.

Our telephone was broken, we needed an extra sheets, and it took the staff a little longer to get them to us. The phone was never fixed. But there was a phone in the hallway if we needed room service.

Multiple Service Failures During Stay 7/1/26 - 7/4/26 I requested a refund for the last night of my stay due to the numerous issues and service failures my fiancé and I experienced from the moment we checked in. First, the telephone in our room never worked. Although an engineer was reportedly scheduled to repair it, no one ever came. As a result, I was forced to repeatedly travel between our room on the 7th floor and the front desk whenever assistance was needed. On one occasion, I called from my personal cell phone and spoke with Yola, who assured me that water would be delivered to our room. Unfortunately, neither the water nor other requested items, such as towels, were ever delivered. The most serious issue occurred late in the evening when I discovered a large cockroach crawling across the floor of our room. Around 10:15 p.m., I went to the front desk and requested that the room be cleaned and disinfected with Clorox and that the bed linens be replaced. I was told a housekeeper would come immediately. But cleaned linen was not available. While my fiancé remained in the room waiting, I stayed at the bar. By 11:30 p.m., no one had arrived. I returned to the front desk and spoke with an employee who refused to provide her name, stating only that it began with the letter "D." She informed me there were no notes regarding my earlier request or any of the issues with Room 1714. Her demeanor was dismissive and condescending, and she appeared unconcerned about resolving the situation. During our conversation, she abruptly stopped assisting me to help another guest who was standing extremely close to me, despite my expressing discomfort. I was later informed that security had already spoken to this individual twice regarding inappropriate behavior, making me feel unsafe. There were also several other guests visibly upset and voicing complaints during this time. Fortunately, Manager Nicholas intervened after seeing how distressed I was.

The location was perfect because we could still walk to places we wanted to go to.

They advertise an affordable room price but charge you an arm and leg for everything else. Excessive charges for parking. Just a rip off. No breakfast included. Was charged a resort fee which did not include the beach umbrella. This is just ridiculous!! We are in South Florida, one thing that should be included is the umbrella and yet they charge you $38 for it and then they have the audacity to take it away from you at 5 pm when sunset is at 8:15 pm. In addition, they don’t allow you to bring your own food and drink to the beach. It feels like being in jail. I would never return to this property.

I really loved the location. I liked that I could easily walk to nearby restaurants and other places. I also really enjoyed the restaurants and bars on the property. Both the indoor and outdoor bartenders were amazing and made the experience even better. I visited on a solo trip and felt comfortable and safe the entire time. My room was great—it was very clean, comfortable, and I slept really well every night. The staff, in general, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.
