All good.

I had booked a room with a king or 2 double beds. When I checked in, the front desk person told me that he would give me a room in the new/upgraded tower with queens. I said fine. When I got to the room, it was 1 full/queen bed and no place to move around. I did not have time as I had to go to an event but i complained and they said they would change the room. They did at 10:30 at night. Make sure you get what you paid for.

O hotel é muito antigo, os carpetes estao encardidos, eu tive que mudar de quarto pq quando fui ligar o chuveiro a agua saiu cheia de barro, voce toma banho e vira uma banheira, a agua nao desce direito. Nao voltaria para esse hotel e nao recomendo.

La estancia fue horrorosa. Las habitaciones estan viejas, los colchones blandos, el baño tiene olores y en la habitacion encintramos 2 dias cucaracjas caminando por el baño y por las paredes. Unas cucarachas enormes que vuelan y son dificiles de matar. Muy decepcionante y mas si tenemos en cuenta que es un hotrm de 5 estrellas.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton María Isabel in Mexico City, and the experience was top-tier from start to finish. The facilities are excellent, well-maintained, and perfectly located, making it a comfortable home base for any trip to the city. ​What truly elevates this property, however, is the team. The entire staff provides spectacular hospitality—attentive, warm, and professional. A special shout-out goes to Carlos and Efrén on the Club Floor. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was taken care of with unmatched service and genuine care. ​I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Mexico City. Highly recommended!

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was comfortable and the service from the staff was generally very good. We also had a positive experience with room service and the other services we used during our stay.

Our main issue was the check-in experience at the front desk. We arrived at the hotel at around 10:00 AM and asked whether an early check-in would be possible. We were told that it was already being processed and that our room should be ready in about an hour. When we returned, after waiting in line again, a different staff member told us to wait another 40 minutes. We came back once more, again having to wait in a long line due to the busy season, only to eventually be told that early check-in was actually not available and that we would have to wait until 3:00 PM. We completely understand that rooms may not be available before the official check-in time. Our frustration was with the inconsistent information. Had we been told from the beginning that the room would not be available until 3:00 PM, we would have simply left our luggage with the hotel and used the morning and early afternoon for our activities instead of repeatedly returning to reception and spending a significant amount of time waiting in line. Better and more consistent communication from the front desk would have made a big difference.

Central location

A lot of things were broken, not restocked, worn down. Clearly a place that it past its glory.

Conveniently located next to the angel of independence right across the street. Tons of food options only a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful, took our bags from the entrance to the room. Beautiful property including the rooftop pool (which no one hardly uses) and one of the oldest hotels in the area!

Jose, Edgar and Marian in the club lounge were amazing. Their service was first class. Can’t wait to return

The best thing about this hotel is its location, and if you're lucky, you might even get a view of the Angel of Independence on Paseo de la Reforma. The hotel is large, and the rooms are spacious. However, it's an older building, and you can see that in some of the details. The service is quite good, and the food at the Amici restaurant (breakfast/dinner) is very good. Despite being on one of Mexico City's busiest streets, the rooms are quite quiet, which isn't a problem if you want a good night's sleep. I would definitely stay at the Sheraton Maria Isabel again.

The noise was loud, I stayed on the 6th floor, and at times it was hard to sleep during the daytime to take a nap, so I was not able to do so. Take Uber; taxis are too pricey, and hotel transportation is up the room on price.

Some facilities look as if they were updated, like the pool needs to be redone for the kind of hotel that it is. Also, disappointed there was no jacuzzi.

What a wonderful experience in CDMX. I stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel throughout the World Cup on a business trip. This was a chaotic time with all the celebrations but such an experience. The hotel and staff did a magnificent job keeping up with providing excellent service even though they were stretched thin with all the chaos. The staff in the bar/lounge/club were amazing. Hats off to the Sheraton staff your management should be proud.

The Mexican experience I had was amazing. Hotel Sheraton Paseo de la Reforma a fantastic hotel with great staff. Oscar at the concierge desk arranged for transportation to and from soccer match which I attended England v Mexico at Azteca Stadium. Oscar was very professional and followed up with getting me a car and driver and English speaking guide to show me the best of Mexico City.

The basics- very comfortable bed, blackout curtains and a quiet room made for a relaxing stay. Over and above- all the staff were so kind and helpful from the front desk to the cleaners. Particular thanks to the lounge team Carlos, Efren and Alma who made us want to spend the whole morning enjoying breakfast- much appreciated.

dear of dear this hotel is ok for public areas but as for the bedrooms it is dated, worn out and very poor.. plug socket on the wall hanging off and is dangerous. lack of plug sockets in the room. bathroom is worn out. shower is hopeless. the bath id discoloured and all yellow. its not very nice. wardrobe door hanging off. 1 usb port only. no kettle!! its 3 star hotel as best. upon complaining to reception they are aware of the issues but continue to issue this room and countless other bad rooms to people for high prices. as a titanium elite member no upgrade was given after being told 10 days ago they would upgrade my room. its over all very poor and would not have booked knowing what I know now.

This review is for the lounge. I was traveling for the World Cup and found myself with limited options to watch Mexico v S Korea. The bars and restaurants and plaza were packed. We found refuge in the Sheraton lobby bar. The atmosphere outside the hotel was chaotic and the lobby very busy, We entered a little out of sorts and because of the crowds we couldn’t find anywhere to sit or stand. Within seconds we were approached by staff and given a perch to stand in and drinks ordered. A few minutes later management approached us and offered us seats at a table they rearranged to accommodate us. The staff were amazing and attentive which is really something considering the game was so wild. Gustavo was running the show. Although the staff were fully committed to rooting for Mexico they never missed a beat. It was a highlight of our trip. Bravo!

I had high expectations from this hotel due to the brand and the location, however overall this hotel has fallen flat on most expectations. Apart from the lounge there is nothing much to write about. Despite being platinum, I was not offered an upgrade despite the hotel site showing absolute wide availability of each kind of room type. The room I got is in the original tower and dated. The fixtures are painted over, the bathrooms are old and moldy and overall does not seem like a five star hotel. The staff itself is also not very attentive, when walking in and out of lobby, they just chat amongst themselves. Today we came back to a dirty room, for some inexplicable reason so room housekeeping was performed. We are still waiting. Overall, if you are visiting CDMX, give this hotel a skip and choose someplace nicer.

One of my favorite hotels in CDMX. Great location and in walking distance to a lot of things, easy access to public transit. Great atmosphere and comfortable rooms with a nice soaking tub. I feel the value is great for mexico city. Hotel is always very clean and quiet. Service is wonderful with friendly staff. The gym is pretty good too if you want to squeeze in a workout and they have a sauna in the locker room. They even have a (very small) rooftop pool.

We stayed at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel for two weeks, and our experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Bryan and Marian were absolutely fantastic. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine kindness made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our entire stay. Not only were Bryan and Marian exceptional, but the entire staff was friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. Every interaction was pleasant, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority. Thank you to Bryan, Marian, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. todo me gustó mucho, la ubicación, la habitación, pero creo que por lo años que tiene el hotel ya le hace falta una remodelada al bar donde hay música en la noche y tal vez un restaurente o bar en uno de los pisos más arriba para aprovechar la vista al ángel de la independencia.

noisy air conditioner all tv stations in English and no way to change to Spanish, being in Mexico....??? I tried to hook up my Firestick to watch my favorite shows, was not recognised by TV and maintenance could not assist. minor issue not really a problem.

The one outstanding feature of this hotel is the conceirge team. They are absolutely incredible. I stay at the hotel mainly just because of their exceptional service. In general the staff are very kind and helpful. The platinum lounge staff are also great as are the bell staff and front desk I had some serious issues with the room as I checked in very very late and room was 14 degrees when I walked in the air conditioning was set at that. Throughout my stay there were not able to get the room to a normal temperature so I had to use a heater which was absurd. Management was involved and never resolved the situation

I was for a conference in Mexico City. The Hotel was recommended by the organisers. What should I say. Starting from the pick up at the Airport, the welcome at the Hotel. They do appreciate loyalty members as you would expect it. I was ther for the first time but was welcomed like a regular visitor. The rooms are big and the lounge is offering everything you look for - if you are eligible 😃 The lobby Bar is well equipped and the service is very friendly. I used the concierge service as well - which I must say is extraordinary. Also like the reception very friendly and willing to support whatever is necessary. Will for sure come again.

This is a Fantastic hotel, in the heart of Reforma. It’s a great hotel for being central to many attractions, and there is a lot to walk to, from modern malls, to small local cafes and taco stands. I stayed here with a friend two years ago, and came back with my family because I enjoyed the hotel so much. Being in a massive city, It’s great to stay in a hotel that acts as a resort with several restaurants, a full gym, spa, salon, room service etc. the hotel is IMPECCABLY clean, and the staff are very attentive and warm. For gringos like me, good air conditioning is a MUST, and the rooms get nice and cool for sleeping!! Some additional tips would be that the sushi bar in the hotel bar is AMAZING! It’s made fresh to order, and rivals any other top tier sushi restaurant. There is also a salon in the hotel near the back elevators, and Isabel is a really fantastic stylist for both men’s and women’s cuts! I also had a mani/pedi, and it was an attentive and luxurious experience, not just a quick rushed, nail salon job like we have in the States. Isabel and the salon are a hidden gem, so if you need a stylist while you’re there. She’s your gal!

The hotel is a great location, we walked to most places such as the Museum of Anthropology (excellent) and for those not so inclined to walk 30+ min, then Uber very reasonable. We had a room upgrade given our membership status: great size and although a bit "tired" as in wallpaper and carpet, the room was quiet, very clean and staff thorough. Club lounge such a great benefit. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety and evening excellent. The four staff who served/ waited upon us were friendly, helpful and were always hustling to make sure we were happy and had what we needed. Thank you to Jose A., Marian, Carlos and Fidel!

This hotel was just ok. It’s centrally located with great walk ability, but that’s about it. The hotel itself is quite old, smelled funny in the hallways, and the shower and sink water was always scolding hot, even if you turned it to cold. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Infelizmente a ducha do banheiro deixa a desejar. A temperatura Ok, pode regular para seu conforto, porém a altura é deficiente. Se tiver mais de 1,60m tera problemas. Além de que a pressão é baixa, infelizmente.

The location is perfect, the lobby is modernist classic, grand and all marble. The front desk welcomes you in a caring and friendly manner. There is a longe for frequent guests and the staff there is tops! Efren, Carlos, Bryan, Marian, José and others are superb. They pay attention to you and your needs, they remember your preferences and make the visit feel like being home.

Me quedé varios días y pedí con vista al ángel. Todo iba muy bien y el sábado no pude dormir por el ruido de la calle. El domingo coincidió con una protesta y había ruido gran parte del día.

I stayed at the Sheraton for a business trip and it has been nothing but perfect. The rooms are great, great staff and the 18th floor is a hidden gem. The servers to look for are Jose, Mariam, and Fidel! They are always in a good mood, willing to help and very attentive. Great staff and hospitality at this hotel.

As a titanium elite member they go beyond to ensure my stay is great. Just that upgrading is always an uphill battle but I see this is the norm in any Latin American country versus the USA it is a lot easier to use your upgrades. I appreciate Carlos, Jose, Ifren and Marian who were very attentive at the Club Sheraton.
