A beautiful little place with an excellent host and great location. The rooms are set in a beautiful oasis of a garden which had so much wildlife within it! We saw birds, monkeys, turtles, mongoose and peacocks all from our front porch! The location is great, it’s a bit out of the main town but tuk tuk is so easy to organise, the host can help with this. We were greeted with a delicious fresh welcome juice and the breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan, and there was so much of it! The host was extremely helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend staying here!

Le propriétaire était adorable ! Il a été aux petits soins avec nous tout le long. On le remercie encore. Il nous a aidé pour réserver nos excursions avec des bons chauffeurs (le guide pour voir les éléphants était top !) et à des meilleurs prix ! La chambre était très belle, propre et spacieuse. C'est un véritable havre de paix. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Son employé était adorable également et très serviable. Nous vous le conseillons et nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Tutto stupendo! Camera bella e pulita, immersa nel verde con vista lion rock. Padrone di casa gentilissimo, super disponibile e sempre sorridente! La colazione era vasta e buona! Udith ci ha aiutati per tutte le escursioni e spostamenti! Lo consiglio!!

Everything was great, hosts were excellent - extremely friendly and attentive, a beautiful spot to stay at. We would definitely recommend doing the safari to Minneriya arranged by our lovely host - our guide, Tullina was an excellent guide and we had the most amazing time seeing the elephants up close. We would absolutely go back to stay at nice view lodge xx

Très accueillant et une grande gentillesse!!

The place is amazing : the garden is incredible and gives you a lot of privacy and is perfect to relax. The accommodation is clean and spacious. Breakfast changes everyday and is delicious and copious. The host Udika helps you book activities and tuk-tuks which makes the stay even more enjoyable. He helped us book the Mineriya National Park, and our guide Thilina was awesome and gave us so much explanations on different animals in the park. (We definitely recommend him as guide for any of the elephant sighting activities.). The accommodation is located 5minute walk from the main road, which is perfect. Overall, would recommend 200%!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui 2 notti. Struttura immersa nel verde, in un giardino meraviglioso. Un po’ fuori rispetto alla strada principale, ma facilmente raggiungibile. Vista spettacolare sulla rocca di Sigiriya. La colazione è ottima e i proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili. La camera tenuta bene, pulita è spaziosa

Un séjour exceptionnel, le logement était très propre et bien entretenu, bien situé, proche de restaurants où nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons surtout été très bien accueillis par Udika, merci pour sa gentillesse et toutes ses recommandations de visites et contacts. Nous lui avons fait confiance pour le tuk tuk et nous ne le regrettons vraiment pas. Sadun nous a emmenés dans son tuk tuk sur les différents lieux de visites, s’arrêtait à différents moments pour nous montrer des animaux, des paysages, des plantations, comme un guide. Ses prix sont très raisonnables en plus et moins chers que sur l’appli locale de taxis. Pareil pour le taxi pour poursuivre notre séjour à Trincomalee, Udika a tout organisé avec son contact et tout s’est très bien passé. Quoi de mieux pour commencer notre séjour au Sri Lanka !

The room was extremely comfortable with a beautiful balcony surrounded by plants, perfect for relaxing. We also enjoyed the hammocks in the garden. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed getting to try a variety of Sri Lankan foods. Udika is very friendly and helped us plan our stay. He let us know the best time for the activities we wanted to do and helped us arrange transportation and a safari. I highly recommend staying in this peaceful retreat surrounded by nature!

L’hôte était très gentil et attentionné. Ses partenaires (taxi, Tuktuk et guide safari) étaient tous parfait. Le petit déjeuné est exceptionnel tout comme les repas du soir (copieux et extrêmement bons) et la chambre est confortable ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement et de faire confiance à l’hôte et ses guides (comme Tilina pour le safari) afin de vivre une expérience formidables et faire de très bonnes visites des lieux touristiques de Sigiryia.

Una struttura veramente ben curata e accogliente, all’interno di un giardino splendido. Si trova alla fine di una strada secondaria rispetto alla principale che dà sugli ingressi di Sigirya (veramente a due passi), e questo fa sì che sia anche molto tranquilla e un po’ ritirata. La colazione è stata deliziosa e lo staff è stato super disponibile nel trovarci un transfer per Polonnaruwa. Consigliatissima!

La struttura è carina e c’è tutto l’occorrente. Il livello di pulizia è un po’ migliorabile (asciugamani e lenzuola).

We highly recommend this hotel as not only has very good views but also is in an area close to the main road by walking and at the same time very chill. In addition, everything was very clean and a true experience of Sigiriya. The owner is very welcoming and ensures that you have everything you need.

Das Zimmer war geräumig sauber und schön ausgestattet. Es gab alles was benötigt wurde. Der Balkon im Grünen war toll. Das Frühstück war lecker, und wurde jeden Tag erklärt welche Sri Lankischen Spezialitäten wir bekommen haben. Der Frühstücksplatz ist total schön im Garten umgeben. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb direkt an den Reisfeldern und vom Eingang aus kann man den Sigiriya Rock bestaunen. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten an der Hauptstraße und kann die Stadt erreichen. Es ist schön und ruhig dort. Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und freundlich und wir haben uns sieht wohl gefühlt. Es wurden uns Tipps gegeben und Fahrten vermittelt. Es war ein toller Start für unseren Urlaub und unsere Reise in Sri Lanka. Wir würden immer wieder in diese Unterkunft kommen. Vielen Dank!

Es war alles perfekt

La estancia fue increíble. El lugar está rodeado de naturaleza y el propietario fue encantador: nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos e incluso organizó nuestras excursiones. El desayuno casero fue insuperable. Lo recomiendo al 100 %; para mi pareja y para mí, fue una experiencia de 5 estrellas.

Tutto praticamente perfetto! Camera grandissima con aria condizionata e anche ventola a soffitto, super pulita ed immersa nel verde! Ci siamo trovati molto bene anche grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario sia nell organizzare tour a prezzi onesti che a preparare la cena dentro la struttura con dell ottimo cibo locale. Posizione ottima a raggiungere vari ristoranti a piedi, o comunque a 5 min di tuk tuk se volete spingervi oltre. Ottima posizione per visitare lion rock e Pidurangala! Consigliato

Me encanto que el desayuno fuese tipico de ahi. El dueño del hotel no podia ser mas amable. No esta en la calle principal, pero son 5 minutos maximo hasta ella.

Nice View Lodge is the perfect place for a stay in Sigiriya! It is well located (fast way to Lion Rock & Pidurangala), the tropical garden is very beautiful, the room great and the host very nice & helped us a lot. He organized everything perfectly, also a great Safari in Minneriya National Park (we saw many elephants). The breakfast was also very good & restaurants for Lunch & Dinner are nearby.

Alloggio immerso nella natura, camera pulitissima e molto accogliente. L’host é un ragazzo molto gentile e disponibile. Colazioni con cibi tipici e ogni mattina avevano qualcosa di diverso. Piccolo patio esterno alla camera dove la sera ci si può rilassare e ascoltare i rumori della natura. Dall’ingresso dell’hotel si ha una bellissima vista sulla Lion Rock

La doccia non é chiusa con il vetro/telo, ma in ogni caso ci si adatta

One of the best stays I’ve had! The property is beautiful, as if you’re stepping into a garden paradise with beautiful flowers and friendly monkey and toucan visitors. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. Udika was the best host. He was very welcoming and helped arrange activities and transport making everything seamless. Do not hesitate to book!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön ruhig gelegen. Eine kleine grüne Oase. Auf dem Balkon fühlt man sich aufgrund der Pflanzen wie im Jungle. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Tolle Lage, hervorragender Service und stilvolles Zimmer. Dazu ein schön angelegter Tropengarten.

Nous avons passé deux nuits incroyables dans cet établissement. Tout était parfait, et le petit déjeuner est incroyablement bon. C’est propre, c’est confortable, dans la nature entourée de canaris d’écureuils et la nuit d’éléphant sauvage. Une immersion dingue Proche de tout, et une vue magnifique sur le lions rock

Sehr unkompliziert, sehr gepflegt, tolle Ausstattung, Preis-Leistung ist super! Man fühlt sich wie im Urwald, 7 Minuten mit dem Auto zur Sigiriya. Wir haben die Gastgeber wissen lassen, dass wir am nächsten Tag früh morgens los müssen, und sie haben uns ein Frühstückspaket mitgegeben, mit mehr als genug drinnen :)

Dass wir zu kurz da waren ;) Wir sind spät abends angekommen und in der Früh weg zur Sigiriya.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal war ausgesprochen bemüht, aber nicht aufdringlich. Man konnte alles über den Hotelmanager zu sehr fairen Preisen buchen (Safari, Spa, Wanderungen,…). Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich, es wurde sogar meine Glutenallergie berücksichtigt und sich stets bemüht, eine große Auswahl glutenfreier Gerichte anzubieten. Die Unterkunft liegt recht zentral, ist aber sehr ruhig. Fußläufig sind einige Lokale zu erreichen. Man sollte allerdings beachten, dass man ab Sonnenuntergang nicht mehr zu Fuß unterwegs sein sollte aufgrund der Elefanten.

A very peaceful place, and the area where we stayed was extremely quiet. We really appreciated the owner’s attention to detail. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and we loved the beautiful flower decorations—it truly felt like being in paradise.

It is really a beautiful stay, with an amazing view on the ricefields and the Sigiriya rock. The stay is very beautiful, nice garden with all varieties of flowers and plants. Sometimes you see some wild animals in the garden. The room is small but it has basic stuff, airco, hot shower and mosquito net. The temperature during the night in the room was also very good. They provide a good breakfast.

With this amazing view, the location of the property is a bit away from the main street. About 15 mins walk. Please keep this in mind while booking this place. But the host is also providing tuktuk transport if you require a ride.

The best accommodation I have ever booked!! This is a 5-star lodging!! The room and the bed is huge considering I have only booked for 1 person. It was so clean and everything you need is basically there. And the host, Udika, makes the most hearty Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning!! The property has a huge garden and a hammock where you can relax and just see how beautiful nature is. Udika also arranges tour and basically anything you would like to do in Sigiriya and the nearby places. I am honestly so happy to have found this gem! If I could give 6 star rating, I would! The property is so beautiful, you get more than what you paid for really. And Udika is an amazing host, always has a smile on his face and ready to help. It would be so hard to top the hospitality and service that I have experienced here, it literally exceeded my expectations way beyond!! Sehr schöne Zimmer, groß, Bett bequem, gutes Moskitonetz, schöner Balkon. Ruhige Lage an den Reisfeldern, etwas abseits des Zentrums, aber gut fußläufig erreichbar.

Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten und eher klassisch sri lankanisch, war leider nicht so unser Fall.

Najlepszy nocleg w jakim byliśmy! Niesamowity klimat, piękny zielony ogród. Pokój ładny, bardzo czysty i zadbany. Bardzo smaczne regionalne śniadania. Lokalizacja super, wszędzie blisko. Najlepszy właściciel- bardzo uczynny i pomocny! Pokazał nam wiele miejsc, co bardzo ułatwiło pobyt.

Het personeel, goed traditioneel ontbijt dat elke dag verschilt, de twee aparte bedden en de omgeving. Maar ook hoe behulpzaam ze waren met het regelen en adviseren van taxi’s en activiteiten.

Dacht dat we vanaf onze lodge uitzicht zouden hebben op de lions rock.

We stayed here for one night during our trip around Sigiriya and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious, cozy, and clean, and the entire property is very well maintained. The garden is absolutely beautiful and creates a peaceful atmosphere. The host welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink and was always available to help organize any activities or excursions if needed. At the same time, he was never intrusive, which made our stay even more comfortable. The English breakfast was delicious, and everything in the room worked perfectly, including the bathroom facilities and hot water. One of the highlights of this place is definitely the stunning view of Pidurangala Rock and the surrounding rice fields — especially beautiful in the early morning and during sunset. The location is ideal if you have your own transport, and there is convenient parking on the property. Tuk-tuks are also available, but keep in mind that cafés and restaurants are about a 15–25 minute walk away. Overall, a very peaceful and comfortable stay with genuine hospitality. We would happily stay here again.

Es war wunderschön! Eine sehr familiäre Unterkunft mit nur 4-5 kleinen Häuschen. Udit (der Host) ist super nett und hilft bei allen Anliegen. Jeden Tag frisches Frühstück nach abgesprochener Uhrzeit. Die Lage ist am Ende der Straße, sodass man das Gefühl bekommt direkt im Dschungel zu wohnen!

The best property I have stayed in Sri Lanka so far. The place is spotless clean, amazing AC, nice beds and sheets, clean and nice towels. they have bottle waters in the room, tea, even a shower cup and disposable toothbrush!! The surroundings are amazing, super peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this place. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Nothing really, I had a great stay. But Just to say something I would say breakfast was good but just in my opinion too much eggs, omelette and egg hopers. And the milk for coffee is just powder milk.

A very special experience from start to finish. Udika's garden alone is worth the stay. Teeming with life and love right on your doorstep. Beautifully appointed room and bathroom with an amazing breakfast. Its an easy walk to restaurants, the little town, attractions, spas and ATM.

We loved everything about this hotel!! The gentleman who runs it (forgive me I didn't catch his name) is the friendliest host. All the staff there were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was divine. We loved it. It was the most comfortable bed we stayed in on our entire Sri Lanka trip. It's a short ride into the main bit of Sigiriya but there are tuk tuks available or if you have a scooter you're fine. There was a big thunderstorm one evening and we were struggling to get a tuk tuk. But the hotel host offered to bring us to the restaurant for free - we thought this was very kind. Thank you again. Outside the hotel has a wonderful view of the paddy fields and of course, the lion rock! And lastly... THE GARDEN!!! WOW!! I work as a gardener back home so I was simply blown away by the different array of plants on the hotel grounds. The host walked us around and showed us some of his amazing plants and I could tell how much passion he had for it. Not to mention the bees! It was honestly incredible and I would return back there for the experience of the garden alone. Breakfast was exceptional. Too much food as always - Sri Lankans love to feed.

Perhaps the room could have a fridge but other than that we were really really happy.

À notre arrivée, on nous a également offert un verre de jus de fruits frais, une petite attention qui fait tout de suite plaisir et qui marque le début d’un super séjour. Les petits-déjeuners étaient très généreux, et comme nous avons pris deux déjeuners sur place pendant notre séjour, nous avons adoré le fait qu’ils soient différents à chaque fois. C’était génial pour découvrir et goûter plusieurs spécialités sri lankaises ! Nous avions également organisé un safari très tôt le matin, et sans même qu’on ait besoin de demander quoi que ce soit, l’hôtel nous avait préparé un petit sac avec de quoi manger avant de partir : banane, gâteau, bouteille d’eau… Une attention vraiment adorable et très appréciée ! On recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter !

Avec mon frère nous avons tout aimé ! en retrait dans un petit havre de paix ! Les chambres sont super propres et Udika est incroyable avec nous. Toujours aux petits soins pour nous !

Wir hatten viele tolle Unterkünfte während unserer Reise durch Sri Lanka, aber diese war unser Favorit! Der Inhaber ist so lieb und hilfsbereit und immer vor Ort, steht für alle Fragen ständig zur Antwort und hilft bei der Orga/gibt tolle Tipps. Er hat uns auch alles über die dort lebenden Tiere und den Reisanbau dort erklärt und uns viele verschiedene Tiere gezeigt. Man hat sich wie in einem Homestay gefühlt! Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt, weshalb sich auch so viele verschiedene Tiere dort wohl fühlen. Das Frühstück war auch unserer Highlight, da es jeden Morgen etwas anderes gab und man sich durch verschiedenem einheimischen Speisen probieren konnte. Das Bad und die ganze Ausstattung wirkte komplett neu und die AC hat den Raum sehr schnell gekühlt. Das Gebäude hat dicke Wände und gut abgedichtete Fenster und Türen, wodurch die Hitze von draußen nicht ins Innere dringt, so musste man die AC kaum laufen lassen :) Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, da wir die Zeit in der Nice View Lodge so genossen haben und auch die Nachbarn alle so nett waren.

Anything that I needed he was able to assist me with, including good recommendations for restaurants and activities. The rooms were extremely clean and appeared to be newly renovated. The breakfast was a lovely home cooked spread and the lodges are amongst lots of beautiful greenery and animals. Easy walk into town, nearby restaurants and the view of Lion’s Rock is just outside. Bettwäsche hätte etwas sauberer sein können

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Sigiriya. Besonders das Frühstück war jeden Morgen frisch und total lecker - uns wurde immer erklärt was es gibt und es war sehr abwechslungsreich. Abendessen kann man sehr gut im „Stay at home“ Restaurant das nur ein paar Häuser weiter ist.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Garten, in dem es Vögel zu beobachten gibt. Sehr fürsorglich und immer bemüht zu helfen. Am Abreisetag bekamen wir ein leckeres Take away Frühstück.

Throughly enjoyed our stay, the room was super clean and modern. Whole property had an amazing view of Sigiriya rock and is a short drive from it. I have to say, the staff were fantastic - very accommodating and polite. We were leaving at 6am the next day and they got up especially to make us a breakfast box and with some fresh fruit.
