Petite maison avec deux chambres et patio au milieu d'un petit jardin très agréable. Au calme un peu en retrait du bruit du centre du village. Très agréable.

Le jeune propriétaire est très serviable et fait de son mieux mais les services qu'il propose (tuk tuk, taxis et repas... ) sont plutôt chers par rapport à ce que l'on trouve facilement en ville

L’accueil par la famille qui tient le logement était très chaleureux! Nous avons pu beaucoup discuter ce qui était vraiment agréable. Nous sommes passé par eux pour faire le cours de cuisine et ils nous ont été d’une grande aide de manière générale, en se tenant toujours disponibles. Le logement est situé au calme, les chambres donnent sur un joli jardin. Le petit déjeuner était varié et très bon. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement à Sigiriya !!

Die Familie der Unterkunft war sehr zuvorkommend und hat für uns alles organisiert. Wir haben alle Ausflüge mit ihnen gemacht was ich nur empfehlen kann. Das Frühstück war auch frisch zubereitet und sehr gut. Für den Preis unschlagbar!

We had a wonderful stay. Kavindu and his family are lovely; they took us to visit the surrounding area, introduced us to their language and temple, and shared a great deal of information with us. The room is perfect—the air conditioning is a real relief in the heat, and the bathroom is very functional. The breakfast and meals they serve are delicious. We highly recommend this place.

Es war uns eine grosse Freude bei dieser gastfreundlichen Familie zu Gast zu sein. Die zwei Zimmer werden mit viel Liebe und grosser Achtung vor dem Gast geführt. Alle waren sehr bemüht, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlen. Und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die grossen Zimmer waren blitzsauber. Ein kleines Regal als Ablagefläche wäre vielleicht noch schön gewesen. Das Essen war toll. Etwas für den grossen Hunger🙂 landestypisch und wir empfehlen mindestens einmal dort zu essen. Auch gibt es zahlreiche Transportangebote und Ausflugsempfehlungen und wir wurden am letzten Tag sogar mit dem Tuktuk des Sohnes zum Bus gefahren. Es ist einfach schön dort, mitten in der Natur, was den kurzen Fussmarsch mehr als wett macht. Abends nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit sollte man zurück sein, da es dort wilde Elefanten gibt. Zur Nut wurde uns hier auch ein Fahrservice angeboten. Lest die 10 Sterne Bewertungen hier, das teilt genau unsere Erfahrung. Wenn Sri Lanka so freundlich ist wie diese Familie dann freuen wir uns auf den weiteren Urlaub.

The host family was very calm, kind, and warm. Such a peaceful location with great breakfast. We ate dinner here too - all delicious and generous portions. Clean and had all we needed. Would highly recommend. Cool to spot monkeys clambering around the garden.

- La familia anfitriona es encantadora. Se preocupa por ti y porque estés bien en todo momento (a veces puede que incluso en exceso) y te ayudan a organizar el viaje y a reservar actividades o transportes. - El tamaño de la habitación era bastante bueno, todo estaba muy limpio y el aire acondicionado funcionaba correctamente.

- La ubicación. Es verdad que no se ve Sigiriya Rock directamente desde el alojamiento, pero sí desde la carretera y la entrada a este (las vistas son muy bonitas). Pero es una zona bastante alejada de la calle principal donde se encuentran los restaurantes y Sigiriya Rock. En el alojamiento te insisten en que es muy peligroso volver más tarde de las 20:30 de la tarde por la presencia de elefantes salvajes. Tampoco se puede salir muy pronto por la mañana (para ver el amanecer) por el mismo motivo. Eso, sumado a la baja cobertura de internet y que a veces falla el wifi, puede dificultar bastante actividades como ir a alguna de las rocas a ver el amanecer, ya que no se pueden contratar servicios como pickme y al ser una zona alejada del centro no hay tuktuks cerca que puedas parar. - Es una zona residencial de gente local y de camino al centro caminando me encontré con bastantes perros callejeros que ladran bastante y pueden parecer agresivos, hay que tener cuidado. - El desayuno.

We stayed here for 2 nights. This gem of a place is excellent value. Our room with private bathroom was spacious and more than adequate. Simple, but very clean. Had both AC and fan. The bed is queen-sized, with a mosquito net. The hosts were gracious and caring. They were very communicative. Breakfast had sizeable portions, varied daily, and was very delicious. The location of the villa is very convenient to tourist attractions and there are good restaurants on the same stretch of road. Yet the surroundings were incredibly peaceful. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in Sigiriya.

Schöne Zimmer mit Terrasse, umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten in ruhiger Lage. Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Familie, der das Anwesen gehört: unfassbar liebe, hilfsbereite und aufmerksame Menschen, die sich sehr viel Mühe geben, um den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The son and mother were lovely. My bike broke down he helped me take it to a garage to fix it. It was also raining hard so he took me on his tuk tuk to get dinner as there were none available: breakfast was always a spread. And it’s a good location. Highly recommend just for the warm welcome.

Everything! The owners were so kind & attentive. The breakfast was amazing, clean room & the beds were comfy! Highly recommend doing the elephant safari tour that they can book you onto - one of the best things we’ve ever done!

This was one of my favourite homestay in Sri Lanka. The garden and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, you can see the Lion's Rock from the property. The breakfast is really delicious. The room is big and clean. The hospitality of the owners are amazing. I loved this place.

Everything!!! The terrace is so relaxing but still close to the center of Sigiriya. There is a lake close by where you can have a refreshing bath and no tourist are there! Family was super welcoming, they live in a house close by and always available is needed. We loved it!

Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit in der Sigiriya Hillside View Villa. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben direkt in der Unterkunft eine cooking class gemacht, die sehr toll war. Ansonsten war die Lage super, das Zimmer sehr sauber und sogar mit AC und das für einen guten Preis. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

The family that run these 2 rooms are so lovely. Able to help with absolutely anything and go above and beyond to answer our questions. Nice breakfast made for whatever time we asked. Located a 15m walk to the main road which made for a lovely peaceful location. We dined at La Dolce Vita which only 10 mins away, on the way to the main road.

Alles war großartig! Der Gastgeber und seine Eltern waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit! Auch Transporte mir Tuktuk und Taxi wurde für uns zu tollen Preisen organisiert. Der kleine Garten vor der Unterkunft ist sehr nett und die Lage mit Blick auf den Lions Rock ist auch großartig!

Sehr freundliche & zuvorkommende Gastgeber, traumhafte Location mitten im Grünen mit Blick auf Lion Rock und wunderschönem Garten. Morgens beim Frühstück hüpfen Affen in den Bäumen rund ums Haus herum (aber ohne einen großartig zu stören, sehr unterhaltsam), absolut malerisch, wie eine kleine grüne Oase. Das Zimmer ist extrem sauber, die Klimaanlage funktioniert bestens und es lässt sich alles problemlos mit den Besitzern über WhatsApp absprechen - könnte nicht besser sein, ein absolutes Highlight! :)

Alles bestens - ein wärmeres Licht würde das Zimmer noch ein bisschen gemütlicher machen, aber das ist ja eh nur Geschmackssache :)

The hosts are exceptional in terms of welcoming us and making us feel at home. Welcome chai and coffee plus they took us on a guided walking tour to the dam and surrounding areas at no additional charge.

This place is amazing, a highlight of our trip. The family and the location was wonderful, you are only a 10 minute walk to the main road so it’s peaceful with great views of lion rock. The family welcomed us with such smiles and enthusiasm to show us the local area. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka we will definitely be coming back here.

J'ai adoré ces 2 jours passés sur place. La vue était magnifique. L'endroit était très calme. Certains diront que c'est un peu éloignés du centre. Pour ma part, je préfère. D'autant plus qu'il y a un bon petit restaurant à moins de 100 mètres. Je me suis promené à plusieurs reprises aux alentours. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. La famille a organisé pour moi le transport aller-retour pour la visite du Lion's Rock à l'aube, tour comme mon départ le dernier jour. La chambre était confortable. Je recommande.

We loved our stay here. There are only 2 rooms which was great for our family they have a great area for us to sit and have a drink and chat and have the amazing breakfast that they provide in the morning. There is an amazing view of Sigiriya Rock and the owners are just lovely so accommodating and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Echt top verblijf gehad hier. De hele familie stond voor ons klaar en hielp ons met werkelijk alles. Het ontbijt was geweldig en ook de cooking class was heel leuk om te doen. De omgeving is ook perfect als uitvalsbasis naar alle activiteiten.

The hosts so friendlly, the rooms are clean, to set outside and eat breakfast is the best feeling. The breakfast is so good and generous. On the way to the guesthouse you can see the rice fields and the lion rock, and it's amazing.

It's a bit far from the center, i knew that before, the problem at night is dangerous and you have to be in the room after sunset. Because of wild elephants attack.

Everything fine! Nothing fancy, quite solid. For 1 night it worked quite well for us.

The location itself has no proper view of Lion Rock. Charme is missing. With more heart and effort it could be a much nicer stay.

Kavindu e la sua famiglia sono delle persone adorabili. La colazione è ottima e preparata sul momento. Kavindu ha organizzato tutti gli spostamenti necessari per visitare le maggiori attrazioni, mi ha fatto da guida per una camminata nel loro villaggio e ho avuto la bellissima opportunità di cucinare con loro diversi tipi di curry. Se siete alla ricerca di un’esperienza locale, lontano dal caos dei turisti, immersi nella natura, non credo si possa avere di meglio.

Il posto è stato stupendo, la gentilezza e l'attenzione del personale senza uguali in tutta la nostra vacanza di 10 giorni. Colazioni buonissime e differenti ogni giorno (il giorno di visita a Pidurangala all'alba ci hanno atteso e si sono informati sull'orario di ritorno per servircela comunque). Abbiamo consigliato questa sistemazione a tutti i nostri amici e la consiglieremmo a chiunque. Leggermente defilato dalla strada principale, per noi questo è stato un punto a favore, con una vista stupenda giusto all'imbocco della proprietà. La nostra stanza aveva una piccola veranda giusto davanti all'ingresso dove abbiamo fatto colazione entrambi i giorni davanti al giardino curato e verde. Nella stanza c'era aria condizionata e zanzariera e il bagno aveva tutto il necessario (acqua calda funzionante). Un posto tranquillo e perfetto per visitare Sigiriya e Pidurangala.

La guesthouse est plutôt bien placée avec une très belle vue sur Lion’s Rock depuis l’entrée. Les hôtes sont adorables, toujours à vouloir nous aider et les petits déjeuners étaient très bons.

El personal era muy amable y la ubicación excelente.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einem großen Reisfeld mit Blick auf den Lion Rock und Pidurangala. Vor dem Zimmer ist eine Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten. Sehr ruhige und schöne Gegend und trotzdem fußläufig zur Hauptstraße. Das Zimmer war blitzsauber und großräumig. Die Familie war total herzlich, Kavindu und seine Mutter haben uns mit einem warmen Woodapple Juice empfangen und haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert, uns alle Unterstüzung angeboten. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker, total authentisch und bisher das beste Frühstück was wir hatten. Bei unserer Abreise haben sie uns das Frühstück sogar früh morgens zum Mitnehmen fertiggemacht und ein Taxi zu einem sehr guten Preis für die Weiterfahrt organisiert. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Der einzige Kritikpunkt war das für uns etwas harte Bett, sonst war alles perfekt!

Outstanding value for money. This was our favourite place during our three weeks in Sri Lanka. It is located in a quiet side street in Sigiriya. The room was very clean, we were provided soap, toilet paper and there was even a hairdryer. The water pressure was really good. There was also a mosquito net and two individual blankets, rather than one big one. The (complimentary) breakfast was really delicious and we got something different every morning. We had a view of Pidurangula and were able to enjoy the local wildlife in the morning, with two different species of monkeys, peacocks and a land monitor being present. Though fear not - the bathroom vent and drain had netting/drain were covered, so there were no lizzards visiting at night. The owners were very kind. We were always able to reach them with any questions and they organized tours for us for very fair prices. While they volunteered organizing activities, they were never pushy about it. We would definitely stay here again and can't recommend this place enough.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Wenngleich die Unterkunft etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße liegt, ist alles wirklich gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

A quiet stay just out of town was a 15-20minute walk into sigiriya, lovely hosts providing great breakfast and willing to help with anything during our stay ! Great value for money !

Camera grande e pulita, bagno pulito, personale molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha accolto con un frullato fatto in casa. La struttura è molto bella, con vista su Sigiriya e sul giardino. Colazione tipica buona e abbondante, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Forse un po' difficile da raggiungere, ma tanto ci si muove sempre comunque con il tuk tuk, quindi un po' di strada in più non è un problema, in cambio la vista è molto bella!

Grande chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable à moitié dans la jungle. Les hôtes sont très attentionnés, nous conseillent sur les activités sur place et sont très prévenants (ils nous déconseillaient de sortir après 20h30...pour cause d'éléphants sauvages). Petit déjeuner copieux et excellent. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet établissement !

La gentilezza del proprietario (giovanissimo) e di sua mamma. Sono Stati molto carini fin da subito dandoci consigli sulle cose da vedere. La colazione è abbondante e sono disponibili a portarla all'orario che preferisci ed è tutto molto buono. Il giardino è bellissimo: pieno di piante verdissime. La posizione è buona: si vede Lion's rock e con una camminata di 10 minuti si raggiungono moltissimi ristorantini carini e con cibo buono

Tutto bene, l'unico piccolissimo difetto è la stanza che presenta parecchia umidità, però c'è il condizionatore che funziona bene
