Good access to the beach

Hidden fees everywhere. I got charged more than the rate. Maid service was non existent. An earring was left from the previous stay, which tells me it wasn’t vacuumed before we got there and during our whole stay.

The extra room charges that were added that I wasn’t aware was going to be added. When I asked the lady at the front desk where those charges came from, she made absolutely no sense at all! I ended up paying over 100 dollars more than what Booking.com said my total charges were going to be, excluding parking charges of 20 dollars per day. Then I got charged for a drink at the poolside bar that I did not purchase! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you like being robbed or giving your money away! Hilton Head Island is beautiful! This was our first time staying at Hilton Head. We may come back to visit sometime, but I can say with certainty that it won’t be at Hilton Spa and Resort!

Everything! From the front desk, to the bell man, to the staff at the restaurants and bars. They were all exceptional.

Great location easy access to Shelter Cove , loved the beach access and the pool area . Parking was easy , staff was very helpful

The room always seemed damp with humidity , A/C ran all the time and cooled the room but nothing dried , towels, bathing suites all stayed damp. It felt like very unhealthy , like legionnaires sickness

I don't remember their names but the gentleman that shuttled us to our conference was very nice, friendly and helpful. He even remembered us the next morning and stopped to speak with us.

Property was very clean and had room service everyday with beds made.

The location was great, I will say it was it’s hard with kids carrying everything up the hill but it was our decision to not unpack at the doors. We loved the pool bar.

Had trouble finding seats at the pool from people holding them with towels but not being there to use them. Pillows hurts a couple of people in our party’s neck

Checked in and the fire alarm went off and had to evacuate, couldn't go to the ocean because of shark sighting and they close the pool at dark. We ended up stuck in the room watching movies. Not even coffee in the lobby. Bathroom has no vanity, just a tiny sink , no exhaust fan

Hotel room was beach front & good except it was a adjoining room & we could here people in bathroom every morning & smelled coffee every morning. We were there just 3 nights so we just let it go but next time no adjoining rooms.

Hotel very much needs to be updated; for $500 per night, it was disappointing and not commensurate with what I paid; lobby was cold and sterile and so outdated.

Body wash and conditioner were missing in the shower. I had my own but it was odd it was missing. Shampoo was there. The entire bottles were gone.

When I had my room clean they took towels and wash cloths I called front desk to get some I waited 4 hours then had to eventually go get them myself

It was a beautiful location and overall the property and facility were very nice.

We brought a baby and a stroller and noticed there were a lot of stairs so it was hard to get around and a very long walk to the parking lot. The bathroom and the sink area was very small.

I loved that the ocean was so close…I also liked the restaurants and gift shop for gifts , snacks and etc…….it was so convenient not having to leave the property for something to eat!

I wish all the rooms had an ocean front….it was a little depressing overlooking the parking lot! I wish the rooms had a microwave and a magnified mirror in the bathroom

This time the staff was rude. We were there for my 50th birthday and the pool staff was rude to me and my family. The pool manager was zero help when I brought it to her attention

I had a partial ocean view from my room/balcony - which was great! My room was conveniently located between the elevators and the stairwell to move between floors. The hotel was located on the beach, so I had easy access. Lastly, the staff was very pleasant and professional.

The water pressure in the room was low. The hotel seems to be older because you can see deterioration in parts of the hotel. There were no available outlets on the walls in the room other than the one that was being used by the coffee maker and the desk lamp. The indoor pool wasn't available for use. It was being worked on during my entire stay.

The check in with Jack was excellent. He took his time, answered all our questions and made great suggestions for dinner! Our waitress downstairs in the breakfast area was exceptional, southern hospitality with a big smile. Was very accommodating. She stands out amongst all the staff. She made us feel at home.

Have stayed at hotel a few times over the years. Rooms are getting slightly worn and dated. Not enough outlets and charging ports for our devices and limited streaming options on TV.

Out of nearly all common drinks at pool bar our entire stay, staff kept saying would be there tomorrow. Out of strawberries, pineapple, coconut, mango … wtf Pork taquitos at pool bar were disgusting, ordered Mai tai through room service , tasted of straight rum, ran out of towels in indoor pool, service slow at main hotel bar, waited 20 mins before being greeted for breakfast at host table. Grab and go cafe ran out of every pastry by 11am on Wednesday morning. Cafe staff were talking while trying to order, did not stop conversation . All the food menus were the same resort wide , it’s spring break folks, you’re in season …

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable . Alina gave me an amazing massage and was very kind.

Charging for parking is absolutely WRONG in so many ways .For 2 days the hotel room was 459 per day fine with that ,then you have the nerve to charge for parking and WiFi .you need to give people some slack we go to relax not get charged to death !!!!!

We had an adjoining room. Kids next door were very noisy. Frig made a loud buzzing sound. I climbed under the cabinet to un plug it.

Our server, Saiesh, at the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa was incredibly attentive and kind. Not an easy job on a busy Saturday. I have worked in hospitality for more than 30 years and it's wonderful to see someone like Saiesh possessing a positive attitude and great work ethic to the backdrop of a lot of people trying to blow off steam on a sunny spring break. Saiesh spoke of his Hilton employment experience, working both inside with fine dining service and outside with poolside service. I understand why he likes the contrast and how one informs the other. I did not know what to expect when my family arrived to the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa. Everyone was helpful start to finish and I applaud Hilton and their employees, such as Saiesh, for reinforcing the brand promise and elevating the experience. Kudos!

There was an odd smell in the hallway and room but with a little air freshener it was fine.

We will definitely be back. This was a quick stop for us on the way home from Disney. The pools are great and the beach is clean. The staff at the pool bar were very kind, especially Saiesh. Hes wonderful!

We loved Gede, he was the best!!. We did cabana service on a sunny day and he was always there to get us everything we needed!! He was so hospitable and easy to talk with. We highly recommend him and the resort for anyone looking for a family friendly, relaxing vacation by the ocean/pool.

We had such a great experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Saiesh, our food and beverage server. He was honestly one of the kindest, most polite, and genuinely friendly people we’ve come across in a long time. From the moment we sat down, Saiesh made us feel welcomed and taken care of without ever being overbearing. He paid attention to every detail, anticipated what we might need, and always had a warm, positive attitude. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and it really shows in the way he interacts with guests. Service like that can truly elevate a whole experience, and Saiesh did exactly that for us. We’re very grateful for his outstanding service and hope the resort recognizes what a great asset he is. We’ll definitely remember Saiesh the next time we visit!

We had a great time staying at this hotel which is in a convenient and picturesque location, in the days leading up to Easter. Pool area is busy but thanks to Michael and Saiesh for making it a good experience. Parking is pricey at $20/day for self parking.
