That property is absolutely gorgeous and decorated beautifully. The property is also situated on a hill so you can see into the city and you can also see Seoul tower.

We had a fantastic couples massage and a great experience in the Spa. The experience was very professional, relaxing, and one to remember. A-Young and Sana did an excellent job. We will definitely return if we visit Seoul again.

I recently visited the Terrace for the first time since its renovation, and I was truly impressed by the experience. What made my visit especially memorable, however, was the exceptional hospitality and genuine kindness shown by Kim Yoon-mi, Manager Park Ye-jin, Kim Ji-yeon, Lisa, and Chang, Eun-ho. I apologize if I have not spelled their English names correctly, but I sincerely hope the hotel can identify them and convey my appreciation to each of them. I will be forever grateful for the way they welcomed and cared for my 80-year-old father and his friends. Their service went far beyond professionalism. They treated them with genuine warmth, patience, attentiveness, and, most importantly, respect. It was clear that their kindness was not simply part of their job, but came from their heart. Whenever I visit Korea, I sometimes feel that older guests can be overlooked or receive less attention in busy restaurants. That is why my experience at the Terrace was particularly meaningful to me. The staff made my father and his friends feel valued, comfortable, and genuinely welcomed throughout their visit. Seeing them treated with such are meant more to me than I can express in words. The newly renovated Terrace is beautiful, but it was the people who made our experience truly exceptional like Ms. Kim, Yoon-mi. Park, Ye-jin, Kim, Ji-yeon, Lisa, and Mr. Chang, Eun-ho. Please extend my sincere appreciation to all of the staff members mentioned above. Their professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression on me and my family and made this visit a very special memory. I will definitely return to the Terrace. I will also be very happy to recommend and promote the Terrace to my friends. An experience like this reminds me that genuine hospitality is not only about beautiful surroundings or excellent food, but about how people make you and your loved ones feel. Our server at the Terrace Kitechen, Tommy Lee, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly kind and attentive, always noticing what we needed and taking care of it before we even had to ask. Wonderful experience. Great breakfast buffet spread. Staff were amazing: Sally, Dave, Tommy Lee, Helia, Catherine, Kayla and Yun-Ju were supper attentive and always ready to attend to our every needs. Can't wait to go back and visit.

Massive hotel with massive overcrowding. Long lines for check in and every elevator ride. Screaming kids everywhere. Property is fine otherwise and staff are trying. Rooms especially the tiny bathrooms need an overhaul to update them. Location is away from action.

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Hospitality I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul during a recent work trip. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is excellent with a great variety of high-quality options. What really stood out, though, was the warm hospitality from Helia, Mark, and Yun Mi at the breakfast buffet. They made me feel genuinely welcome every morning, and their kindness and attentive service made a lasting impression. A fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in Seoul.

​I strongly advise thinking twice before staying here. ​We planned to use the hotel shuttle bus to get to the subway station, but we were refused entry by the driver twice in a row for no valid reason. What made a bad situation even worse was the hotel staff's complete indifference. After the first two incidents, they offered zero apology, zero explanation, and zero support. They simply did not care. ​It was only on our third attempt that the staff finally stepped in and got us onto the shuttle. ​A shuttle service is supposed to be a convenient amenity, not a stressful ordeal. The driver’s unacceptable behavior combined with the front desk’s total lack of empathy and accountability made this a miserable experience. I will definitely not be returning and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We booked this hotel for the indoor pools for the kids but there were so many restrictions on pool usage that we ended up only using it once out of 4 days stay. Swimming pools are for swimming lanes not for reaction. Everyone has to wear swimcap to enter the pool. Indoor pool access needs reservation and can only used once a day for 1h 50mins max. Price did not justify the expectations.

Location Location Location! No hotel in Seoul can beat this location. It is center of the Seoul. The view from Grand Hyatt Seoul covers entire Seoul. Seriously I would pay premium price for views and feeling of owing entire Seoul. I would like to say special thank you to assistance manager at The Terrace Helia Kim for her top notch photo taking skill & her spirit of service, The Terrace has best breakfast buffet deal packages. My family of 4 had the best vacation ever in the middle of the Seoul.

오래된 시설임에도 관리를 잘해 보여서 좋았습니다.

화장실이 너무 좁긴 했으나 거울로 개방감을 향상시킨 점이나, 어메니티가 발망 제품이라 좋았습니다. 하지만, 화장길 변기가 노후한 관계로 손잡이로 내릴 시 물내림이 원활하지 않아 많이 불편했습니다. 수영장 야외 수영장 운영시간이 18:00로 너무 일찍 마감됐으며, 실내수영장은 너무 좁았으며 예약제로만 운영되는데 실내나 야외수영장 1번만 이용할 수 있다는 점이 아쉬웠습니다.

My sister and I recently visited the Grand Hyatt Seoul and had such a wonderful experience! We tried The Terrace Kitchen for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious (especially the LA gal I), there was a great variety to choose from, and the atmosphere was spacious and nice. What truly made our visit extra special was the incredible hospitality. Every member of the staff we encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive. We’d especially like to thank Stella and Eunhyo Jang, who went above and beyond to make our time at our dinner memorable. She was so thoughtful and even took a Polaroid photo of my sister and me for us to keep as a souvenir! It’s rare to come across service that feels so warm and personal. Thank you to Stella, Eunhyo, and the entire Grand Hyatt team for making our visit such a memorable one. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed 2 nights with wife and teenage daughters. This was a beautiful hotel woth great food, although expensive, which was expected. The kids mostly enjoyed the pool, although the "no toys" rule was lame, kids couldn't enjoy their diving toys. Hotel is not is about a 15-20min walk from Itaewon (maybe my family is slow though!), so expect to take a cab or hotel shuttle for travel, which are easy options. Had a great view on the Han River side of the hotel. The room was a little smaller then expected for a reservation of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pullout bed/linen was not ready when we got into the room, had to call the front and ask and it took about 45mins for delivery, which was a little disappointing after a long day. We tried to use the early check-in but no rooms were available, didn't get back to the hotel until around 10pm to get into the room.

We went to the buffet yesterday morning the staff and food were excellent. Especially , Helia, seong-young, robert, mi-young!

This was a nice hotel with comfortable beds, I traveled with my family including my kids. I am a globalist, and they gave me connecting rooms on a high floor. My complaints: they don’t allow kids in the grand club after 6pm. They only provide kids meals - you’re supposed to leave your kids alone in the room to eat while you eat in the lounge. If they have a problem with kids they should create a designated kids seating area. The pool/sauna area- this was nice but so packed. And the sauna/hot tub locker areawas packed full of naked people, no bathing suits or towels in sight. I guess it’s a cultural thing, but it was too much for me. Overall, a very nice hotel with excellent service. I’d stay here again as a globalist.

die zentrale Lage in der Metropole war sehr gut, wir hatten ein Zimmer im 15. Stock mit fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt und den Fluss, die Gartenanlage und der Aussenpool waren riesig. Das Frühstücksbuffet überdurchschnittlich reichhaltig, sowohl asiatisch als auch continental ausgerichtet.

Gemessen an anderen koreanischen Hotelpreisen dieses Niveaus war die Unterkunft sehr teuer und der Gebäudekomplex selbst gesichtslos.

The spa was amazing, the massage was amazing! Joy was wonderful, she did a great job helping me relax and feel comfortable. The atmosphere was just what I needed to relax and reset! The room was very clean and the music was super relaxing. It was worth every penny spent this was a great experience and I’d recommend it 10/10! Beautiful location and views!

Massage was fantastic and so relaxing. They were gentle and continued to ask how if the pressure and temperature was ok. I would 100% go back, especially for the price.

Dyr buffetfrokost i spisesalen. Heisene brukte lang tid når mange personer skulle bruke dem, burde vært flere heiser eller et annet system. I tillegg vanskelig å bevege seg til en annen etasje enn den man bor i siden nøkkelkortet brukes for å sette hvilken etasje man skal til.

Massage and facial services were excellent. Well worth the cost. The rest of the hotel experience was mediocre. The hotel is really crowded and it was difficult to receive any assistance in getting cabs, etc. The hotel seems geared more towards locals rather than foreigners visiting the country. I always have to start my day with yoga and stretching but after visiting the gym once ended up just using a towel in my room due to how crowded and loud the gym was.

This was truly the best spa experience! I'm 6 months postpartum, so my whole body has been stiff and exhausted, but my therapist, Itzel (잇젤), melted all the tension away. The pressure was absolutely perfect, and she tailored the care so attentively to my body's condition. I highly recommend her, especially to other postpartum moms!

The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the room was incredible. The staff was very accommodating (even holding one of my bags for several days while I went to Busan before I checked in).

Pricey for what you're getting, and be prepared to walk up steep hills if you're coming back by foot.

Convenient location for business conference, airport bus direct transportation option, just a taxi ride to major shopping streets, in-house spa and Pilates studio!

Spent my honeymoon here and had a great time. The food at the grand club lounge was great. Especially when checking out, the process was so smooth. Bell service took my stuff down and called a taxi to the airport within 10 mins.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Seoul. From the moment we arrived until our departure, the hospitality and attentiveness of the staff stood out. We especially appreciated the bellmen, the lobby team, and the staff members who assisted us with transportation throughout our stay. On one occasion, while I was carrying several bags, a staff member immediately noticed, stepped in to help without being asked, and personally walked our luggage to the taxi, helping load everything into the trunk. It was a small gesture that reflected the exceptional level of service we experienced throughout our visit. A special thank you to Bradley heo, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful during our stay. His warm service and thoughtful farewell to our family as we departed made a lasting impression and was a wonderful way to end our trip. The genuine care, professionalism, and attention to detail shown by the entire team made our stay memorable. We are grateful for the outstanding hospitality and would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Seoul.

We were on 19th floor with amazing view. As a Hyatt Explorist member, the staff upgraded room to Namsan Tower view room. And also helped me with early check in, so we could put our luggage comfortably. Staffs were exceptionally helpful with the check in process as quickly as possible. We had club access, so the morning buffet and dinner were fantastic. If you ever visit Seoul, you should stay at this hotel with club access if you can get.

Had an amazing massage session with Lia (리아). Did a 60 minute swedish massage and it was so relaxing. Meticulous care and very kind. The massage room is spacious and clean, the oil they use is great too. They remembered my bday and gave me kind surprise too. Would love to come back!

when we checked in, we were told our room wasn't ready because a member requested a late check out. our room wasn't ready even after 2 hours of check-in time and were offered a temporary room. we had a engagement but because of the room being not ready, we were late for our ticketed event.

전망,위치는 최고이고 ! 객실도 약간 좁은느낌이지만 괜찮았습니다 ~ 그에비해 풀사이드 뷔페의 음식들 모두가 호텔 명성에 다소 못미치는 수준이었습니다 이번엔 예약을 못했지만 더 스테이크 하우스 음식은 좋았던것으로 기억합니다 너무나 인기있는 탓에 너무나 많은 숙박 , 관광객들이 몰려서 호텔이 항상 너무 북적대는 분위기는 편하게 쉬는 것과는 좀 거리가 있지만 , 이는 어쩔수없겠죠? anyway, 음식의 맛은 호텔의 수준에 맞게 업그레이드 필수적입니다 ! 그리고 객실들어갔을때 변기가 안닦여 있었습니다 .. 숙소문의 편에 자세히 썼습니다만, 정문에서 차내리고 탈때 고객응대하고 주차 관리하는 직원들이 좀더 친절했으면 좋겠습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 하얏트는 항상 다시 찾고 싶은 호텔 입니다 ^^♡

I had a fantastic stay at Grand Hyatt Seoul and would like to share my positive feedback. The breakfast at the newly renovated Terrace was outstanding, offering a great selection of both Korean and Western dishes, plus fresh juices. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Special thanks to Ms. Helia, Sunny, Mi-Young, and Irene for their wonderful service. The hotel’s location is excellent, with a nice park nearby. My room was well-equipped and offered a great view. Getting to the airport was very convenient, as the Airport Limousine Bus (route 6702) stops right in front of the hotel. One small point to note: there are only four elevators, with two serving lower floors and two serving upper floors, so wait times can be a bit longer during peak hours. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

The view form the room is amazing!

The hotel is very big and the room is a little outdated, the bathroom is very old fashioned and with a shower in the bath.. The hotel lobby is chaotic and very busy and live band was very loud in the evening. The outside pool was closed because there was private event which is a shame. I think Banyan Tree is a better option

Comfortable room. Lovely mountainside view. Our room was not ready until 5pm instead of 3pm. To compensate us for the inconvenience, we were given access to the club room with free breakfast and happy hour. A lovely gesture.

Location is good

Rooms are extremely small - especially bathrooms and old.

They had ample employees at all levels always around and easily accessible. Someone was always right there to answer your questions. The buffet was amazing and the staff superb. We went 2 nights it was so good. We were recognized from the night before and we always appreciate from staff. We like that there were several choices of where to eat or have a drink without leaving the the hotel. After a 10 hour day it was very nice to come back, clean up and stay at the hotel.

Better lighting in the bathroom to put makeup on. Even with the mirror that was lite it was not bright enough. The bar restaurant with the live music was great but the food choice were lacking. We wanted to go back for the music but we didn't want to eat there again.

This was the third hotel our family/group of 7 stayed at during our trip to Korea. We would probably rank it our third favorite. We are all planning a return trip but will most definitely not stay at this hotel. We liked the boutique luxury feel of some of the other hotels we stayed at. The Grand Hyatt in Seoul felt more like a big box Disneyland like resort. The lobby area was constantly packed with people. The lobby lounge required reservations to even sit in there (one night we waited for over an hour and ended up leaving). It would seem there’s a lot of locals that visit the hotel either to eat or hang out, and you would think the hotel would or could prioritize hotel guests. They were extremely strict at breakfast but could not seem to enforce that same rigidity elsewhere. This place was constantly bustling, and the elevators were absolutely the worst and ridiculous part of this place. There’s only four and two service the upper floors and two service the bottom. I have no idea how the elevators work but it does not seem efficient. The wait for the elevators were always insane. And the worst part was when one of the elevators was reserved and had some guy in a suit standing outside of it with the elevator roped off. Given how long the wait for the elevators were to begin with, having one less elevator just exacerbated the issue particularly for the upper floors. All that to say, our group decidedly will not return (our party had four rooms). It seems this hotel is a favorite of locals and dignitaries so it won’t ever suffer business loss. Not our speed though!

It is on the nice location at the Nam Mountain with good view of City. Especially, in the evening, the light from the building looks like starry night. So Beutiful. Room is slightly small but managable. Staffs were kind and nice. Kyle at the front desk was kind and explains available services well. Bell desk staffs are well trainned too. Actually, all the staffs in Hotel such as Terras restaurant, club house, cleaning staffs are wonderful. Nice experience.

This was our third time visiting Seoul, and staying at the Grand Hyatt Seoul made this trip our favorite yet. We’ve always preferred the quieter, scenic atmosphere of the river‑north side of the city over Gangnam, and this hotel fits perfectly with that vibe. The absolute standout of our stay was the spa experience. We booked a couple’s massage with Luna and Sana, and it was phenomenal. Their technique, attention to detail, and calming presence made the session incredibly restorative. It was exactly what we needed before a long flight back to the US.

I've gotten a lot of massages before and this is the best!! This is my second time and both times I had Lia as my therapist. She's very professional and did a wonderful job helping me to relax my muscles. I highly recommend!
