The hotel was excellent, and I was very impressed with their service. After making my booking, I requested connecting rooms, which the hotel kindly accommodated. They also went the extra mile by providing complimentary breakfast for my two children. The housekeeping service was superb. The housekeeper was incredibly helpful and did a wonderful job tidying up and arranging everything neatly. A special mention to Max from the concierge team, who was extremely friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The air freshener could have a slightly more pleasant fragrance. The breakfast selection could also be improved, as the choices were quite repetitive and almost the same every day.

Everything was excellent! We can highlight the fabulous breakfast with lots of variety and delicious food (best French toast we ever tasted) and also the way-too-comfortable beds making every return to the hotel room a delight.

breakfast was chaotic - many of the times we had breakfast there were lineups, was actually a bit disappointing. Many times staff would make us sit for 20-25 mins and then take up only to realize we had 20 mins to get in and out of the breakfast place. I think they should open up another space for breakfast as they just can't handle the quantity of folks having breakfast. If folks are paying they want to have a good meal and in a peaceful way. No matter when we arrived it was already busy we felt.

The service levels were outstanding and this is apparent when you check in, even all the way to check out and arranging airport transfer, everything was done so seamlessly and seems so perfect. I doubt you will get this experience in another 5 star hotel in Korea or anywhere in the world. Kudos to the management for having such well trained staff and attention to details. For example, at the reception, they even have a small table next to reception for you to put your bag to retrieve the passport and wallet...well done and very happy stay and definitely will be back again!

I stayed at The Westin Josun Seoul for 4 nights with my elderly parents (in March of this year - my apologies for the slow review!), who were visiting Seoul for the first time. We had the privilege of staying on the club floor, and the experience was nothing short of unforgettable. The hotel is a grand Seoul landmark in an excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the Myeongdong shopping streets, major malls, restaurants and shops. While a few aspects of the hotel show their age, it has been well renovated and exceptionally well maintained. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The extensive gym and facilities were astounding. What truly set the hotel apart was the warmth, welcome and genuine kindness shown by every member of staff. They looked after my parents in a way that went far beyond what one would normally expect, even from a five-star luxury hotel. Max, with his adorably cheerful demeanour, greeted us every day and was always on hand to look after us in every way. He made us feel genuinely welcome, and his entire team in the lobby was simply fantastic. Breakfast was quite possibly one of the best I have experienced in more than 30 years of travelling and staying in luxury hotels. That is no small feat, and much of it came down to the exceptional service. Yujeong and Jay were amazing. Yujeong’s ability to remember every guest’s name and preferences in such a busy restaurant was nothing short of unbelievable. She handled the crowds with calm, warmth and grace, while Jay was such a pleasure to see every morning. Thank you for making every morning such a happy start to the day. Thank you also to Ahra and Bolting. The ladies and gentlemen at the Executive Lounge were among the most professional hotel teams I have ever encountered. They were poised, smart, friendly and efficient, while still being wonderfully warm and personable. David, Aileen, Ella and everyone else made every visit to the lounge a pleasure. A final and very special mention must go to Jinny at the Executive Club, who made sure my parents had the most comfortable and thoughtfully considered stay possible. Despite the hotel being full, she made every effort to offer them different room options while carefully considering their particular needs. She followed up throughout our stay with a level of care and kindness that one rarely encounters. Her compassion, warmth, sincerity and graceful manner were simply extraordinary. The staff’s pride in being part of such a fine hotel was clear and apparent. This is a feat not easily achieved in the world of hospitality/service. This trip had been a little difficult to organise because of my parents’ age and their particular needs. Without even knowing how much thought had gone into it, the team at The Westin Josun made everything so much easier for us. I genuinely do not believe this holiday would have been as comfortable or as happy had we chosen another hotel. Thank you for your kindness and compassion. Thank you for giving Seoul to my parents. We had a wonderful family vacation here, and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Immediately before staying here, we had stayed at the Four Seasons in Honolulu, Hawaii. Even compared with the Four Seasons, we received a significantly higher level of service at this hotel. Every staff member was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. What impressed us most was that the hotel seemed to care more about its guests’ time, experience, and memories than simply about money. That sincere sense of hospitality made our family trip truly unforgettable. Everything was outstanding. The only minor drawbacks were that the room felt slightly dated and the air conditioning was not quite cool enough by American standards. Aside from those small issues, the service and overall experience were absolutely exceptional. Thank you for making our family vacation so memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for truly outstanding hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at The Westin Josun Seoul and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Seoul. By complete coincidence, I checked in on the same day as the BTS reunion concert, which was taking place not too far from the hotel. I had no idea when I booked, so the area was absolutely packed with people and the hotel lobby was understandably busy. Despite all of the excitement, check-in was smooth, quick, and well organized. The customer service was exceptional throughout my stay. An attendant escorted me to my room with my luggage and took the time to explain the room's amenities before leaving me to settle in. That personal touch was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. Since the streets outside were so crowded that first evening, I decided to order room service instead of venturing back out. I ordered the fried chicken, and it arrived surprisingly quickly despite how busy the hotel was. From my room I could faintly hear the excitement of the concert outside, and since Netflix was livestreaming it, I ended up watching from my room. It turned out to be a fun first night in Seoul without ever leaving the hotel. The rest of my stay was just as enjoyable. The hotel is in a fantastic location, only about a five-minute walk from the subway, making it easy to explore Seoul. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. Every staff member I encountered, from housekeeping to the front desk and concierge, was consistently warm, professional, and welcoming. Whenever I travel internationally, I often choose Westin hotels because I know I can count on comfortable rooms and excellent service. This one, in particular, I feel is the best. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the pillows so much that I actually ordered a set for my home after returning from Seoul. Another unexpected bonus was the Ninth Gate area next to the hotel. Its peaceful courtyard so sightseeing began the moment I stepped outside. If I am fortunate enough to return to Seoul one day, I won't hesitate to book The Westin Josun Seoul again. It provided exactly the kind of comfortable, welcoming experience I hope for when traveling abroad.

Hôtel idéalement situé sur Meyondong. Marché de nuits à deux pas de l’hôtel avec de la street food excellentes , prévoyez de faire un retrait , tout donne envie lol. Rues commerçantes et animés. Le ruisseau Cheonggyecheon pareil à 5/10 minutes de l’autre côté de l’hôtel avec des cascades illuminées où on peut trempé les pieds c’est très jolie et agréable. Utilisez never map pour rayonner dans les autres quartier de la ville en métro et bus c’est très facile. Il faut prendre la carte t money dans un 7 eleven. Recharge sur place si possible ou au borne dans le métro . Méfiez vous certaines bornes c’est que en espèces. Si ils vous restent des fond sur votre t money vous pourrez l’utiliser dans les petites supérettes. L’hôtel en lui même est top.Service haut de gamme personnel au petit soin . Le petit déjeuner est excellent. La piscine est magnifique avec deux bains à remous à 38 et 40 degrés. Bonnet de bain obligatoire mais l’hôtel en prête si vous n’en n’avez pas . On a eu de la chance pas de restrictions d’entrée à compter du 29 juin et nous étions début juillet ! Un bonheur pour les pieds après une journée de marche . L’hôtel met des parapluies à disposition.Nous n’avons pas essayer les restos hormis le petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons cet hôtel . J’ai hésité à mettre à bon commentaire , pour garder cette pépite pour nous lol Comptez une heure de taxi depuis l’aéroport de ICN. Avec mes offres booking on a payé moins de 40€ le trajet

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. My husband and I are avid travelers and have stayed at Marriott hotels across the world, including the Ritz, St. Regis, JW, and Luxury Collection. That being said, the Westin Josun is one of our favorite hotels. The hotel itself feels very luxurious in terms of its decor. The staff is extremely welcoming and professional from the moment you walk in the door. Special shout out to Ida at the front desk for being so friendly and making us feel at home! My husband has Ambassador status and we were able to take advantage of all of the perks which is not always the case at some hotels. The concierge team is the best I've ever worked with. I had many requests from tennis court bookings to dinner reservations. They were super responsive and proactive. I dealt with several of them and they had seamless communication with me and amongst themselves. Thank you Ping, Lizy and Tom! The lounge is also the best I've been to. It is spacious and elegantly decorated. The happy hour is incredible. Full open bar with many different food options. It could easily have been our dinner. We never had breakfast in the lounge. Instead, we had breakfast at Aria which was such a treat. They have a huge assortment of different foods, both Eastern and Western. You will not regret opting for this breakfast. I never used the facilities, but my husband loved the gym and steam room. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to many places including the Myeongdong Night Market which I highly recommend for getting a taste of Seoul! Even my 8 year old son loved the hotel and told me to give it infinite stars :) My husband and I are going to be back in Seoul in November and we will be staying here without a doubt.

Just checked in yesterday evening and so far it has been a fantastic experience - the hotel is very conveniently located within the Myeongdong area and just steps away from Lotte Dept store. But what really sets the hotel apart is the level of service. We were received by Sam at the check in counter and I would dare say he is the best we have ever met and we have been to hundreds of 5-star hotels!!!! Within minutes as he was registering us he realised it was my husband’s birthday (which I had not mentioned in my booking) and he took the time to wish my husband happy birthday as well as arrange for lounge access as there were no available rooms to be upgraded to despite our bonvoy status (high season and many rooms under renovation). We were delighted of course because many bonvoy hotels just usually disregard any status and declare rooms are full. This experience really set the tone for our stay at the hotel. It may not be the most luxurious (though well appointed) but Sam has single handedly ensured that the next time we come back to Seoul it will be to the Westin Josun.

Best service ever. Kind, respectful and professional

I had a very enjoyable stay, and I especially want to recognize Jackson from Guest Services. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel genuinely welcome and at home. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made a lasting impression and significantly enhanced my experience. Unfortunately, my experience at the lounge bar was disappointing. I ordered the Japanese curry rice, and the quality of the meal did not meet my expectations. I also asked whether it could be served with Japanese pickles, as they are traditionally accompanied with this dish. The staff explained they did not have any available because they do not come with that dish but said they would discuss adding them at their next staff meeting. While I appreciated the staff's willingness to listen to feedback, the food quality at the lounge bar needs improvement. Jackson's exceptional service was the highlight of my stay and is what I will remember most.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here last week during our trip to Seoul. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Mr. Teddy Park at the front desk, who made our check-in smooth and welcoming. He was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The entire hotel team was consistently warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit, which made us feel truly welcomed. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day. The location is also fantastic - right next to the Lotte Department Store, making shopping, dining, and getting around the city incredibly convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Seoul.

The staff were excellent, very polite and helpful! Especially the Japanese Lady and a tall Korean gentleman at the concierge/entrance! I don’t remember their names but they were both very helpful and kind with us! The man assisted us by providing information on the best way to report to a police station an incident that had happened to us at a shop in Myeongdong. We are very grateful to both of them.

The bedroom wasn’t cleaned well unfortunately. Bathrooms need renovation and modernization. We also changed rooms due to the extreme noise from the road outside. The staff were helpful and positive in arranging that.

One of the absolute worst stays we’ve ever had. After traveling 30 Hours we try to check in and the very sick lady rudely tells us we sky check in because it’s too early. Fine. We said we need our rooms connected as we had requested. She said the hotel is under construction and they have limited rooms and w Enna to come back at 4 to check in. We came back at 8:00 pm. Our room still was not ready. They did NOT give us adjoining rooms. The rooms are musty and smell like mold. The staff is not helpful and they are more like accessories to decorate the hallways. We asked concierge for a recommendation for a restaurant and he sent us 1/2 hour away to a place that has been closed down. We were absolutely starving and came to get room service and that was a whole other fiasco. Over an hour for 2 salads. The only good thing here was the breakfast. It was very clean and fresh with many options. I should have stayed at the four seasons!!!

1. We had three rooms and JAY at the reception accommodated us on the same floor. 2. They gave us vouchers to spend on food and drinks worth around $130 which ‏is a nice little gift. 3. We used the sauna and the gym - excellent facilities overall

Had an amazing experience at the Westin Josun Seoul Korea! From the time we checked in with Woody to the time we checked out! The staff was always on top of it and very friend always willing to help and also calling you by your name. I am a lifetime titanium elite! So I don’t say these words, lightly! One of the best experiences, my wife and I have had over the last several years! Thank You Not only is this hotel located in the heart of Seoul, with easy access to many of the city's major attractions, but the staff is also exceptional. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure that every guest is well taken care of and has an outstanding experience.

We live in Seoul, but needed a quick room due to personal circumstances. We’ve been curious about the Westin, so decided to give it a try. What made it a stand out was hands down the level of service and professionalism shown by every single staff member we encountered. From the front desk personnel, to the floor attendants, sauna and gym staff, Aria employees, Tom on the top floor and the manager…Each encounter was warm, genuine & extremely professional. Each person we met was fluent in both Korean and English, which was convenient for us. This level of customer service is NOT at all common these days, in any hotel anywhere, so it did not escape us. We are not by any means high level members or special people, & I believe they show this type of respect to all guests, regardless of status. The vibe of the hotel is old luxury, with marble and lots of wood and fresh flowers. It was impeccably clean and well tended, despite the hotel being here for a long time. The gym was huge, even by western standards, and they even offer running shoes in case you forgot yours. My husband said the sauna was complete, with hot & cool pools, steam and dry heat. Full saunas (not spas) are not common these days, so this was nice to find. We would definitely stay again due to the incredible team & full amenities and level of service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The property exceeded expectation in every way. The location was fabulous but it was the staff and their high level of service that made this hotel superior . Their cheerful nature, knowledge and willingness to please is to be commended. We can not recommend this hotel stay high enough. Thankyou
