All good what you would expect from a 5 start Hotel.
Not much. I guess breakfast buffet could have more options.
Location. Friendly staffs. Very clean.
Breakfast is not a buffet.
It was in a good location and a good looking area.
No swimming pool, the coffee cream was expired, breakfast wasn’t provided, it was expensive and it didn’t even give us a discount, the parking was very expensive because it cost $67 for one night and $134 for two nights so the expenses were over my budget.
A friend and I stayed for one night over the weekend. Our first room had both end table lamps broken and asked for another room when we found that the carpet was soaked from the refrigerator. The second room only had one broken lamp, broken bathroom door, and the shower was either freezing or scolding. When opening the cabinet door to access the mini fridge the door was barely holding on with just one hinge, the bottom being completely broken off. The mattress was so thin and lumpy i had bed springs poking me in my ribs all night. There were 2 of each type of towels and no floor mat, having to use one of the hand towels for the floor. Was not what I was expecting for a $300+ room. The on-site restaurant was a joke. Its out in the open positioned between stairs, an escalator, and bathroom/ janitorial area. We ordered 2 cocktails, neither of which we could drink. Both tasting like pure gasoline and costing $19 each.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Central to the downtown area. Easy to gain access anywhere you want to go. Very nice front desk reception people. Valet bell desk were exceptional. Morgan was quite helpful with information. Comfortable rooms with very suitable beds and bedding. I would highly recommend!
We had a great time! The staff was amazing! Jessica, in the restaurant, was especially attentive to us as well as the other patrons!! She was friendly and always had a smile - no matter what was asked of her.
The Hilton did a great job for us. Staff was accommodating, helpful and very friendly. Special accolades go to Jessica and Megan in the restaurant!
For three nights a group of us hung out at the bar/cafe - having dinner and drinks. We can be a pretty demanding group: questions, substitutions, separate checks, and the like. We fell in love with the corn ribs! Jessica, our server, was helpful and embraced our group. Megan, manager, checked in on us and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was good, but Jessica and Megan were the best!
Excellent beds
Eating options in hotel were limited
The location is great for things if you want to be in the city. It’s close to everything and not far from the airport! It has a wonderful breakfast selection and a Starbucks onsite as well!
Well there is a $100 per night deposit that I was not aware of until we showed up so they tacked $700 onto my stay. Stayed it shows this in their website, but not on booking.com. The beds are absolutely horrible! It was like sleeping on the floor with just a bit of cushion. I ended up buying foam toppers to place on the beds to get us through the week. That made it bearable somewhat! Very upset about this because we were constantly exhausted on our trip bc of the beds. This hotel is primarily I’d say for business travelers not families on vacation! No pool or breakfast buffet. There is a cap on the amount you have allotted for breakfast in your hotel fees.
La ubicacion
הסביבה נוראית. נרקומנים, חסרי בית. האזור נטוש, החניה מפחידה. לא ממליץ
Beautiful building, nice employees
Booking said I would not be charged anything at arrival however they charged me a $400 deposit upon arrival. Even though it was returned to me, an unexpected charge has unexpected consequences
bed was comfy
shower pressure was not very hard
Stayed the night to celebrate our anniversary. The hospitality was amazing. Looking forward to our next stay.
Solid hotel spot with conference rooms. Came here for a conference in the winter and it was a pleasant stay. They have a fitness center (which was packed in the mornings) but no pool. The room was comfortable with body wash and shampoo provided. Note for conference bookings they they’ll charge your card with the room rate plus daily taxes after check out and place a hold when you check in for incidentals. I took the train from the airport and it was a short walk but the bus line is also available.
Nice, clean hotel. Starbucks in lobby. Bar onsite.
Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Great location, and dog friendly.
Booking says they have a pool, but they do not. When we were leaving all but 2 of the elevators were not working, and there was a conference group arriving. It took forever to get an elevator that was empty enough to fit the luggage cart in
This hotel was clean and modern. There is a Starbucks and a restaurant on site, both were fantastic. It seems to be in a safe area and not far from 16th st Mall and Coors Field.
At the well-appointed bar of the Hilton Denver City Center, where polished brass gleams beneath low lamplight and the murmur of the city softens into a civilized hush, one finds not merely refreshment—but stewardship. For behind the counter stand three gentlemen of rare measure: Frank, James, and Cire. Frank, a man of steady hand and genial bearing, greets each guest as though receiving them into his own parlor. There is no haste in him, only purpose—each pour deliberate, each garnish placed with the care of a craftsman who knows his trade and honors it. He speaks plainly, yet with warmth, offering counsel on spirits as a seasoned captain might advise on the tides. James carries himself with a quiet dignity, possessed of that candid honesty so seldom found in modern establishments. Ask his opinion and you shall have it—unvarnished, yet never unkind. His knowledge is not merely recited but lived, and in his cocktails one tastes both discipline and subtle flair, as though each glass bore his personal signature. And then there is Cire, whose presence lends the bar a certain brightness, like the first lamp lit at dusk. Kind of manner and quick of wit, he moves with an easy confidence that belies a deep professionalism. There is a grace in his service—an attentiveness that anticipates before one has need to ask. He is, in the finest sense, a host. Together, these three form a triumvirate of hospitality seldom encountered in this hurried age. They are candid without brusqueness, kind without pretense, and consummate in their profession. One departs their company not merely served, but restored—reminded that true service is an art, and that in capable hands, even a simple drink may become an occasion. Should you find yourself in Denver, make your way to that bar, and take a seat. In Frank, James, and Cire, you shall find not only fine bartenders—but gentlemen of the old world, still keeping watch.
Clean.
No pool or free wifi.
Location.
It did not have a pool or free wifi.
Horrible service don’t stay here. Dated and way overpriced. Pick the Marriott brand instead!
The room was clean and cozy. Common areas were also clean.
Actually the hotel meet my expectations. It's the second time I visited the hotel.
Everything was grand for me! 4 days. Clean room every day. Every where very clean. Friendly and help full staff. ! My conference experience was more than I expected because the food was very good. Clean up staff was discreet and thorough. Two nice salad and bakery restaurants right in court yard were very good. I’d look forward to going again..
Location and cleanliness
The hotel was very nice
The bed was a rock and the pillows were flat
Great location, super nice room.
Everything
My overall experience was great. The hotel room and bathroom were very clean and felt well maintained. The vale was a little expensive at $63 per night but there is a parking garage pretty much across the street that was much cheaper. The restaurant was average but very convenient for a quick take out meal.
The room was a King Studio. I found it clean, though still with carpet in some areas of it and the carpet was clean enough. The bed and lines were clean and crisp, mattress a bit firm. Multiple pillows to choose from depending on preference. The bathroom and room were spacious enough. Short walk to the convention center. The lounge areas was nice and wait staff friendly, though once they close you have to leave the area, so tables can't be used after if needed. Front desk staff were all very helpful and pleasant. If you do have to have a package shipped to the hotel, that can be taxing - in multiple ways. The shipping office is only open M-F 9-5; but at any given time you go there, theres a sign on the door saying closed be back soon. It closes early and opens late. The front desk staff assured me if I wasn't able to catch it open they COULD get my package for me. The only complaints I had were that the first night the water in the shower didn't get hot enough; but every other night it did. Secondly, the walls and windows are not the most soundproof at all and if there's a siren in the area, you're guaranteed to hear it. All things considered, I would stay here again.
Our server, Delores, went over and above to find a simply lovely dinner option (boulder bowl - for the celiacs in the group)! Nice place to grab a nosh!
There was nothing that I liked about staying there food was over priced and not free as stated on booking.com the beds was very uncomfortable for the price I paid
The food prices the beds could have been more comfortable
Great location, great breakfast, room was nice.
When you sell a room with four beds (2 adults, 2 children) and allow people to “upgrade” to that room it comes as a shock when the room only has three beds (one of which remained unmade after two requests). Last minute assistance from the housekeeping wheeled in a portable bed for my 15 yo old son. It was a bad situation made worse by insufferably indifferent treatment by the reception staff.
Overall a nice hotel convenient with Starbucks downstairs
The shower smelled like a pond. Assuming the grout wasn't applied correctly which is causing bacteria to build. When we initially showed up the people at the front desk did not greet us and we had to say something to get taken care of.
Buena ubicación. Recomiendo tener en area del lobby folletos o información sobre lugares turísticos en Denver City
La habitación no tenia horno microondas y no posee estacionamiento
We had the most amazing Christmas dinner at Prospect's! Everything was cooked perfectly and our server, Dolores, was the sweetest and most accommodating. She handled every request with such patience and kindness. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience, no regrets ☺️
We went for Christmas dinner, and we were dazzled. The service was great and we were lucky to get a reservation with almost no notice. Lucky because we all (six of us) thought that the chef was remarkable. For a reasonable price we got a truly memorable meal. … We’ll be back!!!
It was a beautiful building, perfect location, and the staff was awesome.
The price is fair, the room is clean, and the breakfast at downstairs restaurant was cooked perfectly. Great staff service as well. Very easy decision to stay again, if needed, in the future.
Absolute best Service Staff but the absolute most friendliest bartenders and will be the reason we rerun to stay at Hilton City Center in Denver. Bartenders would sit and chat with us. Tell us of all the great places to visit and eat.
The location was excellent.
The fact that you might arrive late at a very pricy hotel and then be offered water for $3 if you are not a premium member, or that you do not have a place to park other than valet, or have to search for it yourself.
Low end 3 Star experience at best. Rooms are lacking cleanliness. Multiple things broken. Had to switch rooms because one gave me an allergic reaction of some sort. Probably pet dander or extremely dusty ceiling tiles. Nothing was up to 4 Star standards--towels were limited and so rough that they scratched your skin. Cheap thin toliet paper. HVAC didn't work correctly--hot in the room, freezing in the hallways. Showers in both rooms had broken hardware. Thin walls - had walk downstairs to report loud music at 12:30am after it had been going on for 12+hours because the phone didn't work and no one would pick up when I called from cell multiple times. Room shook like they were moving furniture next door or upstairs at one point. Charge for water and coffee. $10 coffees were served cold on our first morning. TV audio didn't match video so even watching TV was unenjoyable. Witnessed front desk great my partner strangely when we walked in separately. Overheard another guest complaining their refrigerator was leaking all over their room. Other small otherwise forgieable things like crooked mounted lamps. This was not the 4 Start couples holiday getaway experience we were hoping for. They will nickle and dime where they can on water, sundries (that ring up more than they are labeled), and early check in, parking fees, etc. Had it been a 4 star experience, I would have been happy to pay the premium, but it just is not worth it. They offered complimentary points for all the issues we experienced, but I would have preferred the experience we should have gotten over the Hilton points. Or at least a partial refund. I am leaving a review to warn others not to pay for this hotel expecting a 4 star Hilton experience.
Friendly close to many stores very clean
WARNING!!! DO NOT stay at this hotel unless you are either with extremely close family members or staying alone. There are literally no bathroom doors, only a sliding partition that is purely decorative and serves no function at all whatsoever. There are significant gaps on all four sides which leave absolutely no sound proof (or odor proof) for the sake of your privacy. There is no option to use the bathroom fan since there is not one and turning on the water from the sink didn't help because it flowed out of the faucet softly which did not help to mask any sound, Hilton should be ashamed for sacrificing the dignity and privacy of their guests just to save money on the expense of regular doors that at the bare minimum should be a given and expectation in a hotel of this caliber. I never in a million years would have thought to have to ask when making a reservation if there were actual doors to the bathroom separating the rest of the room. This was a weekend that I had really been looking forward to and the only memories I will have from staying here on the top floor of this "nice" hotel will be how awkward and embarrising it turned out to be. Every single slightest bodily function could be heard and I am appalled how this is accepted as a norm in a Hilton hotel. It is beyond me how this design was ever even approved to be used and built in the first place. It certainly wasn't "tested" by any type of management for they would never subject themselves to this practically uncivilized situation. I can't imagine this hotel would have any repeat guests unless it was a person staying on their own. I know I won't be returning and will be sure to let others know the situation if they are contemplating a stay at the Hilton Denver City Center. There are plenty of other options downtown that would certainly be a much, much more pleasant experience and that is an understatement indeed! I still can't believe that hard-earned money was wasted on such an abysmal experience that was meant to be a rewarding weekend getaway. I would have been better off staying at home and sparing myself the expense and embarassment! Never again!!
Location
My experience at the hotel was far below the Hilton standard. The front desk staff seemed unprepared and not attentive to basic situations, which was especially disappointing considering that I am pregnant. We arrived at 11:30 AM, and even though the room was already ready, I was charged $59 for early check-in, which made no sense given the room’s availability. They also charged $3 for each bottle of water in the room — something that, in hotels of this category, is usually complimentary. Another unpleasant surprise was the $15 fee to receive a package, even though I was already staying at the hotel. This is unreasonable and gives the impression that the hotel is prioritizing unnecessary charges over guest comfort. The only positive aspect was the housekeeping team, who were professional and efficient. However, the rest of the staff fell short, showing little training and a lack of care for the guest experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and do not intend to return.
This review is for the hotel restaurant called Prospect’s Urban Kitchen & Bar. Yesterday I had breakfast there and ordered coffee and the Estes Park Omelet that comes with a side of breakfast potatoes from my server Monika. The food arrived in a timely manner and hot. The omelet tasted great with the fresh vegetables and elk sausage and so did the potatoes. Server Monika did a magnificent job! She was professional, knowledgeable, communicated well, very attentive, and had a great positive attitude. Highly recommend the restaurant, the Estes Park Omelet, and server Monika!
Great hotel for business meeting. Staff was great and accommodating, hotel was spotless. Only complaint is you can hear the noise from the city even on high floors. Great location, felt safe.
Nice hotel,my room (King bed, high floor, city view -1209)was comfortable clean and spacious. The hotel is modern and the location is excellent for business. This hotel doesn't offer a complimentary breakfast but being a Hilton Honor Diamond member, i received a daily dining credit ($15/day) that i could use in the hotel/room service. There is a few bars/restaurants and stores within walking distance ,there is a Target and the convention center is 5 min away. The movie theater is close too. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The only snag was the noise.I could hear my neighbors leaving their room, the maintenance using some leaves blower and the housekeepers cleaning early in the morning and even banging my door "housekeeping" the last day even though i paid for a late checkout! ***They also took my "privacy please" sign off my door during my stay and cleaned my room.
The room was spacious and clean!
Great date night atmosphere, manhattan was amazingly prepared. Frank is an amazing bartender that kept the sports talk exciting and the drinks full
The room was spacious and clean!
We enjoyed our stay here, the service was great and the room was clean.
Beautiful room with lots of space. Comfortable bedding.
Lighting is very dim in the room, especially the bathroom.
I had a good stay at the Hilton Denver City Center during a recent conference. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and the shared spaces, including the fitness center and conference areas, were well maintained. The only drawback was the noise. The walls are thin enough that I could clearly hear my neighbor snoring through the night, and the heavy doors tend to slam loudly. Aside from that, it was a pleasant experience in a convenient spot.
I was in Denver for a business trip. The location of the hotel was perfect and it was conveniently located within walking distance of everything I needed.
Wonderful hotel, house keeping does an excellent job and hotel service in general is excellent. The highlight of my stay was Prospects, the hotel bar and restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is even better. Come see Cire, Jason, Frank and the rest of the staff and be treated to top level hospitality at everyday prices, you won’t be disappointed!
Hotel was in a nice area with walkability. There's a parking garage across the street that we used and it made everything really convenient. Would stay again.
Awesome
Very clean room!
Hilton bar was great! Good food, great staff! Especially bartenders Frank, Cire, Jason and service staff. We visit the Hilton bar because of them. They are the best!
This was a great place to stay! Very clean and quiet
Everything was within short distance for our stay.
Amazing room and staff, very convenient location
Staff were accessible and helpful. Hotel was nice.
good location
Great rooms staff and area you can get out and walk to just about everything and staff was very kind had good attitudes will definitely be staying again
Go to the other downtown Hilton just to keep things very short and sweet. This building is very old. The rooms are smaller. You’re paying more for amenities than your actual stay… I was not acknowledged as a Hilton’s honor member which isn’t that serious but if they care, they care. Get ready to pay a $300 deposit. Get ready for $64 a night for valet parking. Just a tip, park across the street. It’s only $30 a night. The rooms were small, the view is of a building, blocking the view, the room was not as clean as I expect from Hilton. For example, the vent that is near the shower probably hasn’t been clean ages and very dusty. Your room does not have a microwave in the microwave they do have downstairs is only 700 Watts. I tried to contact guest services and never got a response or an answer. The rooms were very close to each other and I’m not sure if it was busy that weekend but it’s not common to have neighbors all surrounding you in each and every room which makes the noise level extremely high. The doors slam shut. The TV was so annoyingly outdated. It didn’t matter what I put on or what time, but the audio was out of sync for the TV on every single channel. Pros, there is a slightly more expensive Starbucks inside. The bar was nice and the pool was okay. I did enjoy the pho restaurant that was within walking distance and that’s about it.
The rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the entirety of the check-in process was a disaster. Everything other than the check in process was good.
Over all was a good experience there was a miscommunication with how much valet would be but they still honored what was told in the beginning.
