Loved the fact we had our own little bungalow. It was cute & cosy. The owner also dropped us to and from the bus. He was a fantastic host & so helpful.

The host was the best. Super helpful. Our family came in late from our train ride and our host made us a quick breakfast and helped us in booking a tour that was leaving five minutes later. Was also very helpful in booking our bus ride after staying there and even checked in on me later would definitely come back very safe for a family.

Sehr schöne Bungalows auf Stelzen, in schöner Umgebung und Blick auf Berge und Reisfelder. Wir hatten als Familie ein Vierbettzimmer gebucht und haben ohne Nachfrage ohne Aufpreis oder Nachfrage ein Bungalow dazu bekommen. Jeder Bungalow hat unten eine eigene schöne Sitzgelegenheit mit Schaukel und Hängematte, dort bekommt man morgens auch sein Frühstück was lecker war. Der Besitzer war besonders freundlich und aufmerksam, wir wurden sowohl vom Bus abgeholt als auch in den Ort gefahren beziehungsweise abgeholt, alles kostenfrei. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in wunderschöner Natur.

Mi hanno scritto la mattina stessa della prenotazione chiedendomi di annullare la prenotazione perché una famiglia aveva deciso di fermarsi di più e che quindi io non potevo più aver la mia camera. Mi son ritrovato senza alloggio.

Si vous aimez la simplicité, et les lieux avec l’essentiel sans en faire trop, alors vous êtes au bon endroit. Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont été très fluides, il est très gentil et toujours partant pour nous aider et nous donner des bons conseils. ++ pour la vue et la localisation.

Mr Son es de las personas más amables y bondadosas que hemos conocido en nuestro viaje por Vietnam. Tanto él como su equipo son muy atentos, nos facilitaron mucho la estancia y las actividades.

Muy atentos y trato espectacular

Every thing was good, as promised. Clean room, simple, but good breakfast, good location, clean water swimming pool. Good WIFI. The host is very helpful, offering us free rides to restaurants around and helping with transportation. The shower could be more comfortable.

Ens va venir a recollir on ens va deixar l’autobús. Ens va deixar bicis per poder-nos acostar al poble. Es poden llogar motos allà mateix i aconsella sobre les coses a veure per ma zona. També es poden contractar tours allà mateix.

El lavabo no acaba de ser molt còmode i net.

Sin duda, Sam, el propietario. Ha hecho todo muy facil, nos ha recomendado sitios y nos ha llevado cuando ha sido necesario. Los bungalows son sencillos pero excelente relacion calidad-precio. Sin duda recomendables

The view from our room was unmatched. And our host organized everything for us: personal pickup from the bus station at 4am! The most epic excursion into Paradise Cave, transportation to Hue, money exchange, laundry, breakfast. We were sad our time was short but will definitely return to this homestay during the dry season. Exceeded our expectations. Home away from home!

Everything was perfect

Il bungalow in cui siamo stati era molto bello, con la piscina, il posto immerso nella natura. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo con noi e ha cercato in ogni modo di rendere perfetto il nostro soggiorno. Ci ha preparato una colazione buonissima con pancake e per il giorno del checkout una colazione d’asporto anche se siamo andati via la mattina molto presto. Abbiamo anche utilizzato gratuitamente le biciclette per spostarci verso il centro di Phong Nha.

The owner was courteous and beyond helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. He created a very relaxed environment for us and we felt very safe and at ease. We definitely would recommend this place. Just book it!

Les personnels est génial ! Ils s’occupent de trouver des taxis, d’organiser les activités et proposent des suggestions pour les restaurants. La piscine est très agréables. Facile de trouver des grabs pour le Phong Nha boat.

It was nice and quiet. The owner was a very kind and helpful person, who offered to both pick us up from the bus station as well as dropping us off late in the evening. The breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient.

Really pleasant place to stay- easy access to caves and national park, nice little pool and free use of bikes to get around locally. Cool views over the rice fields from the bungalows.

There are cheaper ways of doing many of the cave trips than those offered on commission- worth finding out about taxis and paying the entrance fees directly.

Les bungalows sont très jolis, la piscine est propre, le petit déjeuner avec des crêpes bananes est délicieux J’ai adoré le hamac sous chaque bungalow. On a pu utiliser les vélos gratuitement, c’était trop bien pour aller dans le centre et environs. La salle de bains est petite mais fonctionnelle avec eau chaude. On a pu louer 2 scooters pour se promener. On a des serviettes propres tous les jours ainsi que des bouteilles d’eau. Le propriétaire est très sympa, super accueillant. Il est venu nous chercher au bus au milieu de la nuit. On s’est senti comme chez nous, Son est aux petits soins comme si nous étions de sa famille. On a passé de très bons moments avec lui. Je recommande +++ Si je repasse par ici, je retournerai chez Son sans hésiter

Alles was top! Vooral de man die het runt is echt ontzettend aardig. Hij doet alles voor je. Wij zijn om 3u ‘s nachts opgehaald van het bus station en hij heeft de tours en bussen voor ons geregeld met korting. We konden altijd de fiets of scooter pakken en we mochten tot laat in de avond in de kamer blijven zodat we nog konden douchen voordat we de volgende bus gingen pakken. Ontbijt was ook lekker en kamers hadden alles wat je nodig had en zagen er heel leuk uit.

Tout était parfait : l’accueil, l’aide, le bungalow, la piscine, etc. Mr & Mrs Son sont adorables.

This was certainly one of our favourite stays in a month-long trip. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning and water pressure are good, the breakfast is great to get you going in the morning. The view over the rice fields and mountains beyond is idyllic. But what makes it all really special is Mr Son, who is possibly the most relaxed and accommodating host I have ever encountered. Nothing appears to be a problem or an inconvenience for him, and he will do whatever it takes to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible.

Super helpful and chilled out host - arranged a drop off at Dong Hoi station and let us shower beforehand (after we had checked out)! Really recommend for a peaceful stay in Phong Nha.

The host was very helpful and happy to sort out buses and scooters for us. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station which is very helpful as it is a little drive away from the centre. In addition he was happy for us to stay at the accommodation until our night bus was due

Quaint, quiet location just a short ride, using the free bikes, into town. Son was very helpful and was interested in what we were doing to assist in providing any information about experiences. Picked us up and dropped off at bus station. Advice on best tour for limited time which was a fantastic tour. Asked when we would like breakfast brought to us. The pool was in great condition and very refreshing. Everything you may need for a very reasonably priced short stay.

Son, the owner, was amazing. Such great hospitality. He was super accommodating, flexible, with great recommendations. The restaurant, Lotus, was so good we ate there primarily. We arranged out trips with him to Phong Nha cave on kayaks(recommend), Paradise and Dark caves(also recommend). We liked the tasty breakfast too that he prepared himself. Fun sense of humor and caring host.

My kids (14,16,17) enjoyed the bungalows. Like having your own little apartment to themselves. The pool was a nice depth and the views from the rooms(a1,a2,a3) of the field was calm. Tasty breakfast each morning. They preferred the banana chocolate pancakes. We borrowed the bikes for a short ride into town which was fun at night too. He picked us up and dropped us off and was happy to help us with our reservations for the amazing caves. Son’s hospitality really stood out. You can tell he enjoys hosting travelers. Would stay here again for sure.

Very kind hosts who let us have an extra room, breakfast and water for free. Very clean and comfortable accomodation with a lovely pool. Free bikes to cycle to duck farm etc and near a lovely restaurant with great food called Lotus ..also does take away.

Ha sido una experiencia de 10. Llegamos tarde a phong nha y el dueño nos recogió sin problema en la parada de bus, igual que cuando nos fuimos. Ha sido súper amable, nos ha aconsejado que actividades hacer y los mejores sitios para ir. La habitación está bien, ordenada y limpia. Las vistas espectaculares. Muy atentos con el desayuno y delicioso. 100% recomendable.

Pool was clean and refreshing. Rooms were cool and beds comfortable. Free bikes were perfect. Son, the host, helped us schedule tours, gave great restaurant recommendations, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

De eigenaar is zo lief! Hij kwam ons savonds ophalen van de bus, maakte elke dag ontbijt en regelde echt alles voor ons! De bungalows zijn prima en vooral degene met uitzicht op de bergen zijn fantastisch om wakker te worden.

De badkamer wordt helemaal nat tijdens het douchen.

Magnifique vue sur les rizières depuis la chambre. Transfert gratuit depuis le centre de Phong Nha et scooter mis à disposition gratuitement. Le propriétaire organise aussi directement les activités (grottes de Phong Nha) à un tarif avantageux. Accueil agréable et cadre paisible.

• Intimate, peaceful property with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. • The staff are absolutely incredible and consistently go above and beyond for their guests. • After my overnight bus arrived at 3:00 AM, they personally picked me up from the bus stop and had a room ready immediately so I could rest after the journey. • Excellent breakfast served with fantastic views each morning. • Large swimming pool that is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, hiking, or caving. • Convenient scooter rentals, laundry service, transportation arrangements, and activity bookings all available at very reasonable prices. • They helped accommodate several special requests before and after my cave expedition, making the entire experience seamless. • The hospitality here genuinely stands out and made me feel welcome from start to finish. If I return to Phong Nha, I will stay at Hung Phat Bungalows again without hesitation.

We had an amazing stay with Son! The place is truly beautiful and peaceful, with a stunning view of the rice fields. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. Everyone took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. The excursions they offer are excellent as well! A special thank you to Son, who kindly allowed us to stay longer at his lovely hotel while waiting for our night train, and even drove us to the train station at 11 p.m. Such a thoughtful gesture, and we really appreciated it. Le doy un 10 porque no puedo darle un 100. Ha sido una estancia inolvidable por la amabilidad y la ayuda del dueño y su familia. Vinimos a Phong Nha a correr una carrera por el parque nacional, y el dueño nos ha llevado en moto a la salida, y eso que era a las 4.30am! Una persona maravillosa! Muy bueno el desayuno, sobre todo los pancakes de plátano con chocolate, y buenísimo el café! Muchísimas gracias por sentirnos como en casa,por ayudarnos en todo momento! De verdad, que se merece un 100!

It had a very personalized touch - owner was friendly, knowledgeable , helpful and generous. The bed was comfortable, woke to green rice paddies and gentle morning with breakfast served to our bungalow. Loved the banana pancakes. Property was clean and well cared for, pool was clean. Owner had fridge with beers, drinks and water cooler which was great. Take out menus if you wanted to order in from good restaurant near by. Very relaxing spot and owner was so helpful in facilitating bikes, scooter, rides to bus stop - he goes above and beyond!

I honestly wish we could have spent longer here, it has been our favourite stay in Vietnam. The host is so helpful, informative and kind. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view. Each bungalow has its own hammock, table and chairs for your breakfast/ chill and a a swing. The pool was FABULOUS! Situated just outside the main town so its quiet and peaceful, we used the free bicycles to pedal 8mins into town.

Had a wonderful stay in Phong Nha! The pool and mountain views were beautiful, and the hammock outside each room was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Son was an amazing host — very fun to talk to, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly stood out and made the experience even more special. He picked us up from the bus stop, allowed us an early check-in, provided complimentary breakfast, helped us plan nearby attractions with great recommendations, and even assisted in booking our bus to Ninh Binh and dropped us off for it later. Truly made our stay smooth and memorable. Highly recommended!

Whatever you do, you must stay at this bungalow. Not only is the space serene and beautiful — overlooking green rice fields, fit with hammocks, AC, and a pool — but the hospitality is next level. For example, our bus was an hour late and the owner still came to pick us up at 2am. We felt very welcomed and they go out of their way to ask us when to serve breakfast, which suited our early morning hike. The owner lent us a motorcycle for free and gave us driving tips. He drove us back to the bus station and told my boyfriend to marry me. Ha hahaa. We accidentally left our phone behind the hotel when we were already in Da Nang but the owner made sure that we got our phone back. SO SWEET! Go support him!

The host is amazing, he makes sure you have everything you need. From a ride into town, excursions, bicycles and even we got to check in early and got breakfast after coming in with the night train from Don Hoi. Oh that’s transfer he also arranged. The bungalow itself is a cozy private little house with view over the rice fields. It has everything you need! Even a small little terrace for you underneath the bungalow. Couldn’t fault a thing, if you want to experience a bit of local live and explore the caves of Phong Nha, this should be your go to spot.

Un endroit magique, des personnes absolument formidables qui se plient en 4 pour vous faire plaisir. Des bungalows propres et avec une super vue et une petite terrasse qui invite à la relaxation. Un accueil généreux d'un homme au grand coeur. Phong nha est en plus une région coup de coeur pour nous ! Vous devez absolument y aller et choisir cet établissement familial !

Absolument tout. Les bungalows, la vue, mais par dessus tout la gentillesse de la famille qui tient les lieux et qui fait tout pour que vous vous sentiez à l'aise. Des gens au grand coeur. Phong nha est une magnifique région avec tant à découvrir ! Venez passer 3 nuits ici vous ne le regretterez pas.

Wat een fijne gastheer! Je kan hem alles vragen, hij antwoordt steeds met en lach en zorgt dat het in orde komt. De huisjes zelf waren precies wat we nodig hadden. We sliepen hier op een van de beste bedden die we gehad hebben tijdens onze reis. Bovendien keek ons huisje uit over de rijstvelden, prachtig!

Everything was amazing from the location, the breakfast, the bungalow, and especially the owner. He was spectacular. He helped plan our cave tours and then allowed us to use his motorbikes to go to dinner and then to rent at a cheap price for the day! He was very attentive. Everything was clean and exceptional. Best place we have stayed at in Vietnam and you can’t beat the price!

Had an amazing stay! Wish I could’ve stayed longer but I had already booked another homestay. I had a very early bus arrival and Son offered me a ride. The bungalow was the perfect size for me and I slept comfortably. He helped me book all my tours and offered bikes for free. I biked along the river towards the duck stop which was beautiful. Son went out of his way to make sure I had a comfortable stay and even took me to a clinic when I was unfortunately bitten by a dog. The breakfast was also great. I definitely recommend staying here. Can’t wait to return :)

The owner ( Mr.Sun) was so helpful and friendly, I absolutely loved this place and don’t want to leave. The room was amazing and breakfast was so delicious. Mr. Sun even picked us up from the bus station at 4am and allowed us to check in and a free breakfast that morning. We also hired a scooters from him and he helped us plan our day/route on google maps and gave us great recommendations for places. I also fell in love with the puppy across the road 🥹

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect

Fantastische host, super behulpzaam. Spreekt goed Engels en gaf hele goede tips. Hij heeft ons ‘s nachts opgehaald bij de busstop en ook weer weggebracht. Het verblijf is in een prachtige omgeving en een schattig huisje. Lekker ontbijt! Ook heeft hij ons een scooter geleend en konden we onze was laten doen! Ik zou het zeker aanraden!

Het was fantastisch, maar een beetje achterstallig onderhoud en schoonmaak (bijvoorbeeld achter het bed). De kamer wordt wel dagelijks schoongemaakt en opgefrist! De badkamer is klein, dus een beetje onhandig met douchen.

Superlieve eigenaar die van alles voor ons heeft geregeld. We mochten gratis gebruik maken van de scooter en hij heeft ons gehaald en gebracht!

Super emplacement , paisible avec une vue magnifique. Les bungalow sont supers et le petit dej au top .L'hôte est très gentil, serviable et de bons conseils . Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce merveilleux endroit.

Vue superbe. Endroit paisible et très agréable. Chambre propre. Bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants (Lotus (café excellent) et la Maison du Riz sont succulents ). Le gérant vient vous chercher/ramener gracieusement à la station de bus. Échange très sympathique et drôle.

Der Hotelbetreiber war unglaublich hilfreich, nett und zuvorkommend. Wir sind mit einem Sleeperbus in Phong Nah angekommen und abgereist und er hat uns von der Busstation sowohl abgehol als auch zurück gebracht. Die Bungalows sind sehr einfach, man darf nicht viel erwarten, aber der Preis und die Aussicht sind dafür unschlagbar. Das Hotel liegt etwas Außerhalb des Hauptgeschehens, man kann sich aber kostenfrei Fahrräder ausleihen.

Das Frühstück ist etwas gering ausgefallen, da man Buffets gewohnt ist, man hätte aber bestimmt mehr anfragen können.

The location is quiet, away from bustling. The view from the bungalow is very nice. (Rice fields and mountains.) The room and bathroom are not large but very well equipped, clean and there is a tiny balcony to enjoy the view. Under every bungalow there is a nice table with chairs. There is a swimming pool. The owner is super friendly and very attentive. He received me with a refreshing tea and a banana, and prepared a sandwich for me for the road when I left early morning.

L’accueil de notre hôte Son était exceptionnel ! Il est venu nous chercher lors notre arrivé et nous a renseigné sur tout ce qu’il y avait à faire dans la région. De plus, ses recommandations de restaurants étaient génial. Son est un hôte très bienveillant et attentionné. La chambre et les installations sont propres et bien entretenues. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Vous pouvez louer un scooter directement sur place ainsi que des vélos qui eux sont gratuits. Merci encore pour tout 😁

Sehr sehr schöne und ruhige Anlage mit schönem Außenbereich und Pool. Tolle Sitzgelegenheiten und Hängematten sorgen für eine schöne Atmosphäre direkt am Reisfeld mit Blick auf den Nationalpark. Sehr sehr nettes Personal, Roller und Fahrräder zum mieten, tolles Frühstück. Touren und Busse/ Züge zum nächsten Ziel können auch direkt vor Ort gebucht werden. Ich wurde von meinem Nachtbus abgeholt und auch zum nächsten Bus gebracht. Sehr guter Service! Ich hab es sehr genossen.

great experience here - the host picked us up from the bus for free as the bungalows are a bit out of the way, but the location was perfect for us, down a quiet bit of road and easy to get to all the main attractions. he is very attentive, offering advice where to go and what to do (he has great restaurant reccomendations) there’s bikes for free or motorbike rental too and a nice breakfast. the bungalows are cleaned every day, and he booked our bus to ninh binh even giving us a lift back
