Plegeprdukte und Frühstück waren gut
Hatten Zimmer zum Pool heißt kein Fenster, die ganze Nacht brannte doch sehr hell das Licht.
Location
Not much lol
L’accueil, l’emplacement et la dimension des chambres
Allure négligé et usé. Vieillot, besoin d’une bonne rénovation
The room was clean
We loved that they have balcony to sit on since it was still summer and nice and warm outside. Also the river grill on the water was a very nice touch. The pool was also on the water side but we did not use it
Great location. Outside bar area waa lovely. Staff were excellent. Very room.
Lots homeless people in the area outside the hotel. Lots of litter in the areas both front and back of the hotell
Good location, very clean, nice staff and good facilities especially the restaurant, swimming pool with whirlpool and sauna!
Downtown location.
Friendly staff, comfortable and good value
The breakfast was good and the staff was nice
The hotel location is in a location that has many homeless.
Beds are comfortable, good location. Good value for the money
The elevator is poorly located in the facility, and a long wait. Biggest issue is the desk and chair. The desk area is way too high for a working desk. It was very uncomfortable to work at it at night.
The breakfast was awesome
We went to the patio restaurant by the pool one day and the service was not good . We sat there for approx 20 mins and the server never did come to our table. He went all around us. We just left
I like the staff and the location.
Rooms are pretty small, and the bathroom is extra small. The bad was uncomfortable
Don't stay here! Homeless people are everywhere. Our vehicle was broke into on our last night. Things stolen. The Homeless are deficating and urinating in the hotel parking lot. Using needles to shoot up on the benches in the courtyard. This use to be our go to place in Peterborough. However, this year we have seen things no one needs to see...let alone on holidays paying alot, l might add. Sadly each year has gotten worse. There is no security, which is just greed on behalf of the hotel itself. Garbage is everywhere. When we filed a police report, the police themselves told us breakins in that parking lot happen at least twice a week. The hotel itself doesn't mention a thing. There is a homeless commune across the street behind the Tim Hortons. It's unsafe especially for a female to walk around. We will not be returning to the Holiday Inn Peterborough Waterfront again. We have had it with this place.
Ease of location and beautiful waterfront
Ice machine working on my floor
Food and staff
king bed too soft, screen door netting broken,
2-Star Review This was a very average stay, and overall I would rate the hotel 2 out of 5 stars. The hotel feels quite dated and would benefit from significant renovation and better maintenance. The outside areas and property grounds were not very clean or well maintained, which made the overall first impression disappointing. The rooms were also not very soundproof, and noise from other rooms and nearby areas could easily be heard. We stayed in a river-view room, which was nice, but unfortunately the balcony was not in good condition and could use some attention and maintenance. The staff were definitely a bright spot. Thomas at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Jessica at the breakfast buffet was also outstanding—very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The front desk and housekeeping staff were generally very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast, however, was below what I expected from the Holiday Inn brand. The selection on the hot buffet was limited, and there were no meat options such as beef or pork, which made the breakfast feel less substantial than expected. The Riverside Grill was decent, but I found the prices a little expensive for what was offered. Overall, while the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel’s condition, cleanliness, balcony maintenance, noise insulation, breakfast quality, and need for renovation significantly affected our experience. With some investment in the property and improvements to the breakfast offering, the hotel could provide a much better experience.
The staff
The breakfast and the carpets and lifts were very dirty
Endroit
Air climatisé trop bruyant
Location.
A lot of homeless people around the area. Hotel could use a good renovation
Location on the waterfront is still beautiful.
Rooms are so loud since the carpet was removed. I appreciate the rooms are updated but you can hear absolutely everything now. I barely slept because I could hear the people next to us constantly.
The bedding
Staff, cleanliness, no elevator, very expensive, overall service, pool was dirty
Great breakfast. Great pool! Lovely view.
Nothing
We liked the swimming pool, the hotel location, the room, the staff
The doors were closing very loud, we had our room very close to the rare door of the building, and we would wake up hundreds of times during the night as the doors were slammed by the people... it was terrible, and we could not sleep well at all.
Location, view, waterfront pub, friendly staff.
very little
Did not feel safe with all the homeless and the addicts……went for a walk and saw them sleeping on the sidewalks, all the garbage in the water ………taps where leaking, fan not working in the bathroom, rusted hinges, furniture very old, assumed previous occupant had a dog, looked like dog hair on the floor
Very clean room, comfy bed, short walk to the marina & boat tours next door. Balcony view on 4th floor is superb. Food and service was excellent. Superb bar and food service on the patio deck. If you love BBQ, this is the place for you. Pool area needs some renovation loving care. Breakfast buffet was very good. Great staff.
The interior / exterior connecting pool is well thought out but needs light renovations . Pool tiles, doors and a freshen up paint job would bring it back to attractive level. A few more tables and lounging chairs are needed.
Location was great, right on the river and near great bicycle paths. Breakfast so-so, but better breakfasts across the street. Room was comfortable on fourth floor with a balcony overlooking river. Elevator went down one morning but was repaired soon thereafter. Staff extremely helpful and carried our bicycles downstairs when elevator was out. Biggest negative was one night a band played at the hotel from 7-10 p.m. very loudly. We were not warned about this. Couldn’t enjoy the balcony. We asked for volume to be turned down, but this was barely done. Quiet time was posted as 10 p.m., but band continued to play loudly with an encore after 10. Extremely inconsiderate of other guests. Another major complaint: pool area is unsafe. Floor tile is very smooth, especially when wet. Non-skid surfaces completely lacking.
Location and facilities
Nothing
Property was nice outside our room the chairs were basically broken, the walk way was FULL of cigarette butts and the gardens haven’t been weeded in 2-3 months.
See above
The air conditioning was broken in another person in our group’s room so they couldn’t stay due to the heat wave. I’m still waiting on the refund
location
the hotel is dated
Attention of staff excellent
We had returned for the annual 'Beer Barn' just outside of P'borough and chose to stay here again, which seems like the obvious/best choice in town. What makes it a 4+ - staff are friendly and helpful - location backs onto the lack/river system in central Peterborough, plus you're close to restaurants, bars, movie theatre, groceries, etc. Why it is closer to a 3 - old and worn - it can get noisy with passerby and since it hosts many wedding groups - weird parking rules/system! Overall this might be the best affordable option in Peterborough...just expect 5-stars.
Great location. Exceptional staff. In particular Erin ensured that our stay was comfortable and was highly responsive to our questions and requests. Highly recommend.
There were some younger guests running in the halls after 10 pm but this did not continue for long.
Only one lift was entire the building which was frustrating. Food was good.

Location
Shade in room was old and torn . No black out shade .
Be careful when you book on booking. Even though the hotel has a contract with booking that makes them responsible to issue your invoice, they keep ignoring you, ant don't issue anything. If you need any document for reimbursement, sleep elsewhere
Freundliches Personal
Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, renovierungsbedürftig und teilweise nicht sauber.
Location
The, comfort of the room and aged air conditioning system
breakfast and location
It had lots of parking
It was gross. And the bathroom was so dirty. We over paid for it. Won’t be going again
view was great disappointed with the additional parking fee staff were great pool and hot tub were great
gym- would be nice to have a bike pool- some idiot brought his own speaker and was blarring music but it was good that staff told him turn it off
Smell in the hallway was absolutely terrible…
Booking.com
The noise of the cars outside revving constantly.
The view of the water was amazing. Next time I'm bringing my Fishing equipement.
Young sports teams were a little rowdy. Everything closes at 10pm.
The best thing about this location is the 'Beautiful Waterfront". Breathtaking.
Very out dated rooms. That would be okay if they were clean. A lot of maitenence neglect. Hair ball in the pool "huge" requested maitenence to take it out. Hot Tub water very yellow. Ground floor patio at our room a mess. Hallway to get to the room smelt very moldy. Thankful it was a one night stay. Bathroom outdated and very small. I believe many stay for the waterfront view. Over priced, much neglect and staff at the front desk could be more pleasant. It would be welcoming if they were knowledgable about their position. I have.inquired several times at this location about room availability and size of the rooms. Aporox. 3 times in total and staff did not seem cognative with such inquires. I shared the room it maybe helpful to know. Room size is listed right in the Website. Thankful during many inquiries this time it was a one night stay. We will not be back. Perplexed at how the ratings for this location is good. Probably because of the waterfront, balcony rooms and people getting away with smoking on them is my guess. My back ground. ( Hotel & Restaraunt management). Hospitality Industry for years. Very Disappointed and heart breaking in seeing a Hotel at such a state. Managements Responsibilty and Ownerships responsibilty!! What flows from the top reflects, all Staff they are responsible for and the condition of the building they expect their guests which pay to stay. Awful!! A brighter note grounds are beautiful and the Waterfront!!
The hotel was hosting a large group of young lacrosse players attending a tournament in the city, and unfortunately the behaviour throughout the property was completely out of control. Children were running up and down the hallways unrestrained late into the evening and early in the morning. At one point, nets were actually set up in the second-floor hallway and a lacrosse game was taking place indoors. It was unbelievable that this was allowed to continue without intervention from hotel management. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no hot water in the morning, making it impossible to shower. Before checking out, we attempted to have breakfast in the restaurant, where food was being served buffet-style. Young kids were reaching into the bacon container with their bare hands, which was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. We immediately decided to leave and went to a local restaurant instead. What was most disappointing was tr parent lack of any management presence or effort to monitor and correct behaviour throughout the hotel.
balcony, linens, lighting
balcony door didn't work properly
It was nice to be close to the lake and to our venue.
room was across from conference room where people were renting at 6 am and were very noisy.
Stayed here 5 nights. I can not recommend this property as it is extremely run down and poorly managed.
Not really anything , however the staff were nice
The location The state /condition of it The dis repair Nobody in our group felt comfortable or safe Not as pictured at all , you think when booking a holiday inn it’s generally pretty good , a safe bet etc , but this was not like any holiday inn I have stayed in before and probably never will again
Comfortable room
Smell in elevator lobby
I loved how the staff stayed connected with me through texts every day.
The location was excellent, a short walk to the main street. The hot tub and sauna were super, but the pool rather full of children and a little less relaxing. The room was large, we had a lovely view of the river, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Plastic cups instead of real glasses. Paper cups instead of mugs for my coffee. No tea selection, nasty powder creamer and no spoons, just plastic stir sticks. For $250 a night without breakfast I don’t expect to feel like I am at a cheap motel. No kettle for boiling water, just the keurig that does not get water hot enough for tea. Housekeeping did not come, so our bed was not tidied, coffee not replenished, floor not cleaned (and it is March, so there was grit and dirt from our shoes all over the place by day three).
Location and view
bad fungus smell. Rooms was not clean properly. No bath rob in washroom.
Riverside
Older facility
Staff were amazing. Pool is so great for kids and adults
Location. Older, but clean hotel. Staff was fine.
I paid extra for a “river view” room. Our view turned out to be the rooftop of an attached building almost obscuring the river. Very disappointing.
Loved the extra space provided, all the kids activities & thomas & penny!
right on the water, heated outdoor pool, very comfortable beds and good restaurant
nothing
the yummy eggs and hash browns at the restaurant and nice staff
testing the fire alarms at 9am
Nice view
Wrong booking you guys said king bed that wasn’t true double queen very frustrating
Staff were extremely helpful when asking for items, like de-caffe coffee for the room. Front desk the most pleasant anywhere. Was there during a hockey tournament, and staff were most accommodating for the kids
More in house dining options
Amazing pool and amenities
Other people not takeing care of there kids
Wonderfully situated right downtown. Everything you need is just a quick walk from the hotel. The room was very clean, as were the towels. The bed was very comfortable. I haven't tried the pool yet, but am looking forward to it. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Peterborough. Thank you very much, Holiday inn!
Nothing.
Everything
Breakfast not included, no vending machine and the room jetted tub wasn't the greatest
The hotel was okay.
The cost was not worth the stay. Prices were ridiculously expensive, breakfast wasn’t included and the staff were not responsive to messages. The hotel is very noisy and you can hear everything. The heater in the room didn’t work.
Coffee machine didn’t work
the location and the beds
the bathroom fan did not work
The pool.
Property needs an update. Carpets are dirty and smelly.
Breakfast, restaurant view, swimming pool
Sketchy area, didn't feel safe with my balcony door opening to open spaces.
Was not a fan
The view of the water. Overall pretty clean hotel room.
Something in the room was giving myself and partner a plugged up nose. The bed wasn’t that comfortable.
Breakfast was terrible, coffee was very weak, pool is nice, sauna too.
Hotel is old and dirty, breakfast very disappointing
I like that’s it’s close to the marina, the staff are incredible always! And the breakfasts are always phenomenal
My screen door was completely ripped off it’s tracks and just leaning against the sliding door. There was yellow stains (small but bright) on both beds in the room and something sticky smudged in the wall behind the bed side lamp. The rust coming out of the bathroom door hinges was obviously painted over and then just sort of leaking through
Poor cleanliness. Told building.
Close to relatives home.
Noise levels between rooms and the outdoors.
