Or a/c stopped and started smelling like a fire. Front desk response was our maintenance man is gone. 😳 but said all booked up. I insisted on another room. Gave me one with work out equip. Lol then charged me $6 for the two waters we drank after moving all our stuff down stairs and 2 trips to front desk because he killed our keys before we got all our stuff. AND to charge $150 to put our boat at dock while we paid for two rooms for one night is ridiculous!

The stay was okay other than the breakfast I paid for was unreasonable when I couldn’t get service to get breakfast. When I asked the receptionist about a refund she told me she could not due to paying for it already. When I get my finalized bill I see I was charged for all these crazy items including room water. Breakfast went up as I stayed longer which I couldn’t enjoy.

The location by the lake is ideal. The amenities were awesome.

We booked the property a month in advance and used Booking.com to message the property for a lakeside room. We never received a response so I called 2 days before and was told it was taken care of. When we arrived we were told there were no lakeside rooms available (which put a damper on our anniversary plans). The next day I spoke w/mgr who compd us dinner. Hats off to her!

The chocolate chip cookie at check in was a special touch. Nice area, loved the pool and lounge areas.

Next time, I want a room with a lake view and balcony. The lake is beautiful.

I was confused on the elevator because wasn't told that I needed to use my hotel.key to push the button in the elevator until bystander assisted me.

This place is a must stay when in Hot Springs! Nestled right on Lake Hamilton you will be treated to great views and a very clean and comfortable hotel. The balcony room was very nice, updated and clean. There is ample free parking and numerous nearby restaurants and shopping areas. Hot Springs National Park is a 10–15-minute drive. The outdoor pool area is very nice and well-kept as well. Staff was friendly and assisted us with any requests we had during our three-night stay.

Location was great, close to everything and good views of the lake.

The pool was a bit small, but they made good use of the room they had and a hot tub would have been wonderful.

The facility is excellent. The staff was very professional.

Booked the hotel on line because we were traveling and decided to rest. We were greeted at check-in and recognized as a reward member. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. We eat at the hotel restaurant and had a couple of cocktails. The food was great as well as the cocktails. We will stay here again if in the area.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. At approximately 2:00 a.m., I pulled back the comforter on my bed and discovered numerous visible stains covering it. Hoping it was an isolated issue, I checked the comforter on the second bed, and it was also covered in stains. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. I reported it to the front desk and the bedding was replaced, but no one could tell me what the stains were. By that point, I had already spent the night sleeping under visibly stained bedding. And, I’m not talking about a spot or two, I am talking about huge brown stains. We were utterly disgusted, uncomfortable, and questioning the cleanliness of the room. What has been even more disappointing is how this was handled afterward. I called and emailed the manager (twice) but never received a response. No apology, no follow-up, and no attempt to make the situation right. Instead, I received an email asking me to leave a review. Mistakes happen. How a hotel responds is what matters. Unfortunately, this property failed on both cleanliness and customer service. I expected much better from a DoubleTree and cannot recommend staying here based on my experience.

Staff not as friendly as other hotels, breakfast was completely wrong no idea what was gluten free for us and then wrong orders received… pool was lovely but closed off by 11am due to issue with drain… A/C was so noisy for sleeping and when it was on it blow cold air directly at one bed… beds not very comfortable and the quilt looked dirty

I stayed at the Double Tree on June 26, 2026. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The front desk staff was very nice and greets you with a smile as warm as their cookies! The room was spacious and clean. My brother and I had dinner and drinks at the bar that night. Sam and Nick were amazing!! The margaritas were fantastic, and their hospitality was exceptional. Now let me talk about the food. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries and wings. The chef (Troy) prepared one of the best meals we had all weekend. We talked about it every single day! I would recommend this hotel to others and stay again. We're already planning our next trip back in a few months.

Breakfast was free and it wasn't worth the money I paid. I also didn't like the fact that there's no coffee and tea station like other double trees just to get whenever I like.

Clean. Great place to stop in on a road trip

We did not eat breakfast there. The location was great. We stayed in room 600. Our anniversary was the 19th, that was our reason for visiting Hot Springs again. The room was clean, it was quiet. The air unit did make a noise, but wasn't too bad or we would have told management. The outside setting area was nice, though I would recommend moving the furniture with the fire pit, just in case people get loud it won't disturb the people staying in the rooms nearby. Maybe add like a giant connect four game or corn hole boards. But if we are ever in the area again, we will for sure stay here again.

I loved that it was by the water!

The outdoor space on the lake. Would have been better if an associate or housekeeping would have wiped down the rocking chairs. Rained a good bit during my stay.

2 deskclerks on day shift were unfriendly, never had a smile and snappy. One white and the other black. Everyone has a bad day of course. But, guest friendly is the most important part of the job. No one could or would help me with my Hilton Rewards. I was given a cardkey to a room on arrival. I noticed the room was nit tge same number. Had to move after informing the clerk.

TV did not work properly and there was no hot water in the shower. I left early.

Location was nice, very updated property. Bar and restaurant on site, security was a plus.

The hotel is nice. Not located near anything specific, but Hot Springs is small. Clean and comfy beds, good services, etc. Unfortunately, the whole place smelled overwhelmingly as if many bottles of bad cologne were spilled there. We almost decided to change hotels because of this., but hoping it would lessen, we did not. I now have a rash around my eyes, and it must be from whatever causes this smell. If you are at all sensitive to smell or chemicals, this is not the place for you. Again, other than this, the place was very nice.

Two queen bed for three guest is very small no enough chair to sit you have to sit on the bed. Sheets and pillowcases had stains on it. When room service made the beds l don’t know why a lots of hair were on sheets. When they supposed to change the sheet every day.

The property sat right beside a waterfront. They had a beautiful seating area but the water. It was very pleasant. Everything was very clean and new. The staff was awesome and welcoming. 10 out of 10

We liked everything!!

Love the outside yard area, so nice and cozy. Very refreshing and relaxing. I also like the commute frm other food spots and entertainment places. Everything not too far. And the view of Lake Hamilton was unforgettable.

The only thing i didnt like for real was lack of vending machines for convenient & not over priced snacks.

Some of the staff at the front desk seemed overwhelmed due to the amount of customers at times and were very rude. My opinion is they needed more help.

Didn't like the fact that I booked my room a week in advanced and paid only to be told when I went to check in that there was a $500 cash deposit that was refundable. Had I known that at the time of booking I wouldn't have booked there.

The staff were very attentive and quick to accommodate any of my requests.

The fitness center in my room. It made that side of the room dark because of the lack of lights.

The location was close to everything. The breakfast was not included so we ate out for breakfast.
