Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Beliggenheten er helt utmerket. Rommet jeg fikk var i sjette etasje med skråtak/vindu. Vinduet kunne ikke åpnes, men ellers greit rom og god seng. Ikke en lyd å høre. Frokosten er jo alltid alldeles strålende hos dette hotellet. Jeg har vært på mange Thon Hotel men frokosten kan ikke måle seg med denne. Nydelig frokostsal

The decor (bright colours). The bed was a bit too soft. How expensive it was for one night (though booked last minute after a flight cancellation and it was on the night before the king’s funeral).

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Das Frühstück war das beste was ich je in einem Hotel gegessen habe. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist super, alles Fussläufig gut zu erreichen und ca. 10 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Very conveniently located, a few minutes walk from the central train and bus stations. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room was well furnished and comfortable, with a comfy bed and decent shower (plus a bathtub, which I didn't use, but a nice surprise). The breakfast was *EXCELLENT*, a ton of choice, excellent coffee options, high quality food. Worth it for the breakfast buffet alone.
The room was a little warm, and it was quite noisy on the street outside, which was a little annoying as I wanted to keep the windows open. However, the hotel does provide very good quality ear plugs, so if you use those, it's not a problem. Fair warning, the area around the hotel is a bit 'lively'. I saw users and dealers quite openly selling and taking drugs, even early in the morning. However, they all kept to themselves, and I never felt intimidated or bothered by them, even walking to the hotel late at night by myself. The hotel itself has a 24 hour reception and you need a key card to enter the building after 11pm, so it felt very secure, despite the area.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Wie in allen Thon Hotels auf unserer Norwegen Reise gab es ein sehr reichhaltiges und hochwertiges Frühstücksbuffet. Die Beschäftigten im Service und Küche verrichteten einen großartigen, umsichtigen und freundlichen Job. Buffet war immer aufgefüllt und frisch. Einfach nur lecket!
Spectrum Parkhaus hat einen sehr unfreundlichen Zugang, im Treppenhaus übelriechend, sehr teuer. Dafür hat sich unser Auto wohlgefühlt: Tageslicht, breite Stellflächen.

Een hele kleine kamer, kleine badkamer (wel goed douche). De temperatuur in de kamer was niet te regelen (kapotte thermostaat en niet werkende airconditioning) dus bloedheet. Het slot van de deur was kapot en het personeel kon beroerd engels. Blijkbaar hadden we een nog lege opslagruimte gekregen want de andere kamers waren duidelijk beter.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026First of all I am staying alone at a double room(not single room) and this is the smallest hotel room I have ever seen! I chose a double room although I am staying alone and I can not imagine how 2 people can stay in such a small room, this is extremely small even for 1 person! 2- All the hotel rooms I stayed in the last 10-15 years have towel slippers in the room so I do not take my slippers with me to wear in the room. They do not have it and when I asked for it at the reception, the answer was we have it only for business rooms! 3-The room is cold and the radiator is not working. Their solution is to bring an extra heater as if the room is not already too small. I can not regret more booking this hotel and I am surprised how the ratings can be so high!

L'unica neo: il bagno piuttosto piccolo, mio marito che è alto ci stava a malapena..
