It is not a safe place! I booked via credit card, the amount was taken from my bank account. Arrived in the hostel, the guy at reception told me I had to pay cash. Next day I showed him the negative amount in my bank app and I got the cash back. Later I got weird messages that the hostel reported my credit card as invalid, that I already had spent one night for free and the booking now was cancelled and I should leave. I decided to do so, because I didn't feel well in this hostel anymore. I packed my stuff and wanted to leave, but two guys of the staff locked the front door and called me a big scammer. I can tell you it is not nice to be locked with two aggressive men in a house in a foreign city on a foreign continent as a woman! It is absolutely unacceptable behaviour. I tried to call the police, but that's not helpful in Morocco. Luckily another guest wanted to enter, so they had to open the door, not without yelling some insults. I reported to booking.com, no answer, still the negative amount for two nights on my bank app. Very bad experience!

La limpieza mal, cuando llegamos el baño estaba sucio y el suelo lleno de agua, pelos en la papelera, rollos de papel higiénico usados por todos lados, muy incomodo. El apartamento con vistas al jardín no es al jardín, sino a un parque publico, es amplio pero todo muy muy viejo. No es un hostel organizado, es un edificio con habitaciones por lo que puedes no sentirte muy seguro si viajas solo. De lo que vi en comentarios a la realidad había bastante diferencia. nos hicieron pagar en efectivo al llegar, y nunca nos devolvieron el cambio como nos dijeron. El anuncio hablaba de opciones de desayuno y cena, pero no había nada de eso en las fechas que yo estuve.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! My expensive Sony xm4 headphones were stolen by the staff. Amongst other small things. Didn’t notice till I took a bus. And for sure it was staff they were the only ones with access , no one else in the room. Was a small one hour window when it was in the open , with door locked, and I had the room to myself . Also extremely hot at night (may) with no fan. A little improvement when you open the door but then you can’t sleep because you can hear all the sounds of the sook u til late night and starting early morning . YOU’LL REGRET STAYING HERE. Not worth the price

Reviewed May 15, 2026En la entrada de la Medina, por lo que la ubicación es excelente, Las literas son cómodas, no tienen cortinas. Las zonas comunes están bien, comedor, terraza, excepto la cocina, todo muy viejo y escaso. Pero en la Medina, es más barato comer fuera. Hay un baño por planta, buena presión de agua, es correcto.

Había problemas con el agua caliente, muy difícil darse una buena ducha. Las camas muy ruidosas, imposible dormir si tenes una persona durmiendo en la misma cucheta que vos

Reviewed May 10, 2026Nous avions réservé un petit appartement qui venait avec une cuisine, une chambre, une salle de bain personnelle ainsi qu'un salon et une terrasse! La vue était magnifique sur le port et le parc avoisinant l'hôtel. Lieu bien situé et propre avec un personnel accueillant.
L'utilisation de l'eau chaude n'était pas évidente et nous avons dû demander de l'aide à deux reprises pour faire fonctionner le tout. Prendre note aussi qu'au 3ième étage il faut laisser couler l'eau du deuxième pour que la pompe s'active et avoir de l'eau au dernier étage ;) Une fois cela compris, le séjour s'est super bien déroulé.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Hôtel magnifique avec une terrasse dominant la mer et la médina, et avec une très belle décoration (en particulier de beaux tableaux). Personnel très gentil, efficace et accueillant. Prix correct.
Le bruit : un vrai problème, lié avant tout à la médina de Tanger qui est très bruyante et à la position de l’hôtel en plein milieu de cette médina. Le bruit dure une bonne partie de la nuit ce qui gène le sommeil. Une suggestion d'amélioration : installer du double vitrage ?

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026It’s got an amazing rooftop, I really enjoyed that aspect. Right in the Medina and the price and is quite good. Pretty simple spot for the price. Not the hottest showers, quite luke warm. It’s a lot of stairs so if that’s something that bothers you there’s like 6 floors so.

Harte Matratzen, sehr alte, laute und wacklige Stockbetten. Aber bei dem Preis wohl noch vertretbar. Manchmal kein Klopapier, wird aber dann wieder aufgefüllt. Auf meinem Stockwerk gab es nur Kaltwasser zum Duschen.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026L'auberge est très bien située proche de la médina et de toutes commodités. Les chambres et les pièces communes sont propres et nettoyées plusieurs fois/jour. Vous pouvez facilement faire vos courses à 2 pas de l'auberge et vous faire à manger. J'ai trouvé que c'était les hôtes qui n'étaient pas respectueux des lieux. Par exemple, j'ai vu des personnes manger sans nettoyer leur table ou bien ne pas passer la raclette après avoir pris leur douche ou bien ne pas ranger la vaisselle une fois que celle-ci était sèche. Le personnel est très gentil et disponible pour toutes questions. Très bon rapport qualité/prix
C'est le bruit les soirs jusqu'à plus de 2h du matin mais j'y étais pendant le Ramadan et la fête de l'Aïd

I was charged 140 dirhams per day, while my roommates were charged 100 dirhams (standard price)per day (as walk-ins). I stayed for 14 days 14×140=1960 dirhams (560 dirhams extra). It was very hard to overlook... I also saw how some were charged 110 and 120dirhams arbitrarily, staying in the same room. My roommates were shocked when I told them what I was charged. Although it's for naught "Never again ".

The door is locked when we arrived and we did not able to reach out the staff so we went for food first then when we are back wait another 30mins to check in because the staff was chatting with others. Shower is cold!!! In Medina so there is noisy both me and my friend woke up by the noise As other hostel in Morocco only smelly blankets and hard bed. Not worth the money. I would have choose the cheapest. Might be better than this one.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026A equipe é atenciosa, foram solicitos assim que eu cheguei! Muito gentis e organizados. O quarto era ok, 2 beliches e mantas extras para o frio, cama limpa. É um prédio inteiro a hospedagem, então vale a pena ir ate o terraço checar a cidade de cima. Os corrimões das escadas estão grudentos 😝. A localização é ótima e a limpeza do local é ok. Wi-Fi com ótimo sinal tb!
