❤️ Un véritable coup de cœur pour le Soco Hostel à Tanger ! Je ne m’attendais vraiment pas à trouver un service d’une telle qualité dans un hostel. Situé au cœur de la Kasbah, dans la vieille ville de Tanger, l’emplacement est tout simplement idéal. Il permet d’accéder facilement aux principaux endroits emblématiques de la ville, à la plage et aux différents lieux à découvrir. Le service est au top ! Toute l’équipe est adorable, très gentille, accueillante et toujours aux petits soins. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour votre accueil et votre disponibilité. J’ai également voyagé seul(e) et c’est justement ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus sympa. L’hostel est vraiment parfait pour faire des rencontres, échanger et partager avec des voyageurs venus des quatre coins du monde. On y rencontre des personnes de toutes nationalités et c’est vraiment ce qui donne une super ambiance à l’endroit. Mention spéciale également pour le petit-déjeuner, qui est vraiment excellent ! Honnêtement, pas besoin d’aller chercher ailleurs pour bien commencer la journée. Et que dire du rooftop tout en haut de l’hostel ? La vue est juste magnifique, un vrai plaisir de pouvoir profiter de ce cadre. La propreté est également irréprochable : le ménage est fait tous les matins dans les chambres, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Bref, un vrai coup de cœur ! Je recommande sans hésiter le Soco Hostel à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Tanger dans un cadre agréable, avec une équipe formidable, un excellent service et une super ambiance. Me gustó todo en general. Vinimos en familia al alojamiento y tuvimos un pequeño percance digestivo. Un miembro de nuestra familia se indigestó y el alojamiento, en especial los empleados se comportaron gentilmente con nosotros. Realmente estuvimos como en nuestra propia casa. We had a private family room with two bunks. It’s very small but clean and tidy with a great rooftop and location. Staff are lovely as well. Very conveniently located if you need to catch the ferry from the Port.

Very large and comfortable room—we had the family room even though there were only two of us, so there was plenty of space. The bathroom was also very spacious. The rooftop terrace was a real highlight, with a fantastic 360° view. Breakfast was very good, including a nice selection of local products. The house has a warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff were welcoming, and the location is fantastic. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Quite pricey for a hostel in Tangier, even considering the extra features and facilities it offers. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was the noise at night. We understand that this is a hostel and some level of noise is to be expected, but our last night was particularly bad and made it very difficult to sleep. There was a lot of noise in the hallways, including staff shouting, as well as doors constantly slamming until around 2 a.m. For us, this was the main downside of the stay, as the noise made it really difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Un acceuil chaleureux, des espaces communs qui invitent à l’échange, une terrasse avec vue très agréable et une localisation idéale. La chambre famille parfaitement agencée répondait à nos attentes. On recommande.

La literie aurait pu être plus confortable. Mais cela est subjectif, mes enfants ne sont pas d’accord avec moi, ils l’on trouvé incroyablement confortable 🤣

Most beautiful hostel I ever went to, very friendly and helpful staff giving great recommendations of restaurants etc., lovely and very comfortable dorms, with bathrooms inside, what a luxury! And great breakfast! Common areas were very peaceful and well decorated.

Such a great spot in the Medina - we spent a night in a six bed dorm with 2 adults and 4 teens which had a balcony looking over Medina. Everything very stylish and clean - would highly recommend.

They dont give you a towel(you can rent), and you need to bring a lock or pay for one. But these are not really big problems, the place is awesomee

I LOVED Socco hostel, by far my favourite hostel that I've stayed in. The staff welcomed me like family, the food was delicious and the rooftop was insane! I spent most of my stay upstairs enjoying the view. The beds were comfortable and had everything you needed. Lockers were spacious and the bathroom was spotless! Highly recommend staying at Socco Hostel, I will be returning one day!

I stayed at Socco Hostel in Tangier and honestly, nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect! The place is clean, comfortable, and very well located. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The local people & hostel staff are a real blessing

Pros: Love the facilities. Soufian was amazing. Friendly, and seems to love being there. Fatima was friendly too. The place is clean, and comfortable. The Rooftop views is just lovely. The breakfast on the rooftop is a nice taste of Tanger. Socco had everything needed for a complete stay. I even extended my stay. The location is great as it’s in the heart of the Medina. I loved it and the staff were warm and welcoming. I met some good people here.

The Cons: Had a hard time getting reception attention to ask a questions.. I was not feeling well one day, I stood by waiting for conversation in local language to end. After a long while, I did leave. It takes a moment to stop and say I will be right with you. Something I would ask if they are busy, and they would reply, Yes! Maybe it’s the language difference or cultural. I also asked for a towel once and the reply was “now?.” Yes, It’s why I was standing there. Some training is needed with customer service. THE BIG CON: One guest named Jordan who stays here often, so may run into him…seems to think this is his own personal home and is allowed to return. He woke up one guy for snoring in the middle of the night and yelled at another for turning on light. The next day, he threatened the guy with physical harm and made it uncomfortable. My major interaction with this person involved him leaving an UNLABELLED bag on the open counter without name/info after checkout. I assumed it was left to be shared. It's what I do as a traveler after check out. I mistook his UNLABELLED bag on the kitchen counter and helped myself. That little mix up created an unnecessary situation. The receptionist Fatima helped him to track it down via camera, instead of telling him that he needs to label his bag like the rules says. This helped to create a dangerous situation as he threatened me with physical harm. I dared him to. I asked for the police. Fatima laughed. No protocol for safety is in place. Change needed to maintain a traveler hostel mindset, respect & safety. OR this would have been a perfect TEN review. This dangerous person is allowed to return here often I am told. Not good for business. Sorry I had to share, as change is needed. I would stay here again in a moment if the safety is taken care and improved training. Thanks for over all AMAZING stay.

Moderno, limpio, tranquilo, terraza. Habitaciones compartidas cómodas y limpias, con cortina en cada cama, luz privada…confortable

Tout était juste parfait! Les chambres et les espaces communs étaient propres, le personnel très gentil et serviable. L’emplacement du hostel est stratégique( dans la médina, à 10min à pied de la plage de Tanger..). La vue terrasse est panoramique (360 degrés). Le matelas était très reposant … Franchement c’est un auberge de jeunesse très compétitif avec les auberge de jeunesse européen. Bravo à toute l’équipe et mille merci!

The Socco Hostel was in a great place in Tagier, with very friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff who felt like family. The highlights are two rooftop terraces that offer amazing views of the Sea and the old Medina, music, free Moroccan tea, and lots of cultural exchange. I highly recommend this place if you go to Tengier.

Clean, amazing location and modern peaceful dorms

Good location (close to attractions, restaurants, exits and the plaza, place for tour picks up and taxis), the staff is super friendly, the room was also very nice, clean and comfortable (private). I recommend taking the airport transfer with the hostel, as it’s very easy to get lost in the Medina, so they can show you the way for the first time, after that you will see that it’s easy to find the hostel from the Medina Main Street.

Some room for improvement in the breakfast organization. Having breakfast on the rooftop with sea view is great, but we waited way too long for our scrambled eggs.

可能也不能算是旅馆的问题，它旁边及周边不太远共有三个清真寺，凌晨四点左右的晨祷真的蛮吵的，一定会被吵醒。当然这是人家的文化和宗教习惯，作为游客我们应该理解尊重，只是给来这里的小伙伴提个醒，大家有个心理准备

A localização é dentro da Medina ! Sensacional... Perto de tudo. O recepcionista da noite Othmane me recebeu muito bem . A recepcionista Fatima foi super atenciosa e prestativa e simpatica. As acomodações são limpas . O café da manhã é delicioso e tem uma vista linda do terraço. Eu recomendo ! Nota 10.

Mit eines der besten Hostels in dem ich übernachtet habe. Jederzeit wieder wenn ich in Tanger bin. Die Küche und der Aufenthaltsraum im Erdgeschoss sind gemütlich, gross und bestens ausgestattet. Ich habe mich in der Umgebung sowie im Hostel bestens aufgehoben und sicher gefühlt. Es herrscht eine gechillte Atmosphäre und es wird alles getan damit sich die Gäste zuhause fühlen. Das Personal ist top. Die verschiedenen Rooftops mit Ausblick auf den Hafen, sensationell. Alles hat gepasst.

Tout était parfait, la localisation dans la médina mais facile à trouver, le personnel accueillant et à disposition, la chambre bien agencée et propre, le délicieux petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec vue. Fabuleux !

Une superbe expérience au Socco Hostel avec une équipe géniale (Reda, Sofiane, Othmane et la jeune femme dont je ne connais pas le nom). Petit dej copieux sur la terrasse. Bonne ambiance aussi le soir. Les dortoirs sont simples mais les lits sont confortables. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Les seuls points d'amélioration pour moi seraient les douches qui n'ont pas beaucoup de débit d'eau, et l'isolation sonore (avec beaucoup de personnes qui claquent les portes).

Camere spaziose, soleggiate, struttura pulita e ben tenuta. Terrazza molto bella, staff amichevole. Un po’ più caro rispetto al resto degli ostelli ma veramente bello e confortevole.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé dans la médina mais à la sortie pour un accès rapide à tous les taxis. Tout le personnel était très accueillant et très agréable. Ils ont tout fait pour que l’on se sente le plus à l’aise possible. Les chambres et les équipes sont très propres et tout est pensé pour passer un séjour super.

Struttura centrale e molto comoda, mi è piaciuta l’organizzazione, l’accoglienza, la gentilezza e la pulizia, una bella filosofia moderna, essenziale e funzionale. Il personale gentile e disponibile. Il rooftop eccezionale,una vista spettacolare.

La colazione ha poca scelta, da aggiungere baguette , burro, più gusti di marmellata e bruoches. Inoltre in camera a volte si sente un cattivo odore proveniente dal bagno
