Location was perfect and the staff were super friendly and helpful
The front desk staff was extremely friendly. Offered us a choice of rooms and floors. Provided information on a free shuttle for a concert we were going to. Extremely surprised to be offered this and very thankful. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty to choose from including a fresh made omelette station, fresh baked good, fruit, cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage , etc. The pillows and beds in the room was very comfortable.

Everything you need is right there. Great location, shuttle service & restaurant.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Location for SPAC was good. Breakfast (not included) was adequate, though pricey for what was offered. Diner in the restaurant was unremarkable. Better to eat elsewhere and for less money.
Well maintained, close to all in Saratoga Springs. Shuttle available to race track. Good parking.
Everything…room excellent. Shuttle fantastic. Breakfast great. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bathroom needs updating. Bath not secure.
The shuttle and restaurant/bar on site were the deciding factor to stay at Holiday Inn.
Room was close to the elevator and hall, which made it was a little loud in am. However, the room was super clean and large,
We did not eat
Bathroom was old and run down. It needs an update asap
Location was great.
Housekeeping could step it up. Same glasses sat outside 2 rooms for well over 24 hours. Same bottle cap in elevator for over 24 hours. the light switch had the switch and a 1970’s dial for a heat lamp that doesn’t work.
Desk attendent was ‘indifferent’. Also offered no support w lugggage. Finally - when asked for restaurant review he pushed the hotel restaurant
The Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs is in the perfect location for your visit. It is minutes from the downtown and ten minutes form the race track, both are walkable, but the hotel does offer a shuttle to area locations. Breakfast on site was very good. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating during our stay. We owe a big shout out to the front office supervisor Amy who helped to make our stay effortless. I highly recommend this location for a stay.

Breakfast was just all right, but I think very expensive would’ve wished for two options the full breakfast buffet, and a late breakfast. The rooms were surprisingly renovated, and the bed comfortable. The entire hotel had been renovated except for the exterior which had peeling paint, but the pool was clean and so were the facilities in the rooms.
It was very warm in the room, even though we tried to put the temperature down to 67°. It remained at 72 and the microwave after you put something in and used it locked. You had to unplug it to release the door to open it to get out your item. Also, we were not told when we first checked in that there was a shuttle that would take us to the local racetrack or into town or within a 5 mile radius. We did not find out until the second day there.
Super Shuttle Service
Manager Amy was kind and professional was extremely helpful Staff was polite rooms were clean
I was exhausted by the time I reached the hotel. As I am traveling overseas, I had oversized luggage which I couldn't maneuver alone. I receptionists at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. The put my luggage in storage (which other hotels refused to do), reserved a shuttle for my next day appointment so I wouldn't have to order a taxi. This was all done for an overwhelmed, not very pleasant traveler (ME)! I then calmed down and went into the restaurant for dinner. The bartender/waitress couldn't have been nicer and the meal was delicious. This visit gave me faith in humanity once again.
Nothing! Everything was excellent.
Amy Krause, the front desk manager, is the epitome of exceptional guest relations. She provided assistance and anticipated further needs. She followed up to be sure we were satisfied and focused on us personally. She and her staff exhibited hometown pride in every encounter. Alice in the dining room and Youssef in Bookmakers went beyond their service requirements to also give us that comfortable hometown feeling in such a big city. We will return to Holiday Inn Saratoga because of them and especially Amy Krause.
Krys and Brian at the front desk were absolutely incredible. They were kind, knowledgeable and very familiar with the area and made great recommendations!!
Want to give a shout out to Amy at the front desk. So very pleasant, friendly and professional.
Bed was erg hard. Prijs-kwaliteit is absoluut niet in verhouding.
Die fußläufige Lage direkt am Park.

This was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had. When we checked in we were greeted with smiles and picked as the customer of the day. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing with complimentary water a sweet note, chocolates and a vintage key ring. We planned on staying for the night but decided to spend two. Before we unpacked we asked about the 2nd night but it wasn't available. We were told we could still have an upgrade for 2 nights in a row but it wouldn't be a suite. We decided to do that as we probably weren't going to spend a lot of time in the room. They offered to help us move but we did it ourselves. We got 2 free drink cards which is a savings since drinks are a bit expensive. We had apps one night and dinner another both which were very tasty. The hotel and rooms are clean the staff is friendly Amy who works at the front desk went above and beyond for us checking in to see if we needed anything, giving us helpful hints on places to go or eat. She is a model employee. We will be returning again.
Great location, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, plenty of parking.
L' emplacement et la gentillesse du personnel
I had a wonderful two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs by IHG for a conference. I would be very happy to stay at this hotel again, whether it is for another conference or for tourism purposes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Saratoga Springs. This is not a luxury hotel, nor is it a budget hotel. It is a perfectly mid-range hotel in a great location! You can walk to Congress Park and all the downtown shops and restaurants in minutes. Saratoga Spa State park is just a 5-minute drive down the road. Check in was quick and easy. All hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was very well staffed. There is always someone available to greet you or assist you if needed. There are no water bottle refill stations at this hotel, but they keep a very large pitcher of chilled spa water in the lobby (i.e., it’s got fresh fruit floating around in it and loads of ice cubes). Very refreshing! Just fill your bottles before you head to your room. I stayed in the lovely, large room 437 on the fourth floor. My wing of the hallway was labeled “Quiet Zone.” I’ve never seen this in a hotel before…and I travel a lot! As a very light sleeper, I very much appreciated being in the Quiet Zone (and it WAS quiet). The view from this room was okay – just the hotel parking lot with Congress Park beyond it. That was fine, as I was mainly in the room for working and sleeping. The room was absolutely packed with amenities. In addition to the expected toiletries of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs provides an assortment of coffee and teas. The toiletries smelled very nice. The room also had a refrigerator, microwave, K-cup coffeemaker, and an extra ceiling heater in the bathroom for winter visits. There was a large television with cable that offered local channels. As a non-local, I found it entertaining to learn about the area by watching the local news. The room was designed with cozy décor in earthy colors. There were more shelves, drawers, hooks, and surfaces than I could possibly fill with my belongings. I appreciated the variety of seating and lighting, along with a nice assortment of outlets and charging options. Seating included a bench and two armchairs. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The thermostat was easy to use and maintained the temperature appropriately. The blackout shade completely blocked outdoor light, creating nice, dark sleeping conditions. I had my white noise machine with me and did not hear any outdoor, hall, or neighboring room sounds while sleeping, although I could hear some noise when the machine was not on. The bathroom featured a shower/tub combination with fair water pressure. I never ran out of hot water. The room was very clean. There was NO mold, dust, bugs, hairs, or leftover garbage from previous guests. You can also request or decline daily housekeeping based on your preference. My only critique is that the ceiling tiles in the hallway on the 4th floor (I did not visit the other floors) looked grungy – like maybe they were the originals from when folks could smoke in hotels. That being said, all of common spaces in the hotel smelled quite nice – fresh and clean! I just remember coming out of the elevator on my first day, walking down the hallway to my room, seeing those ceiling tiles, and thinking to myself… oh boy, what kind of stay is this going to be? It gave budget hotel vibes… and absolutely did not match the walls and carpeting, which have clearly been updated. Other than the ceiling, outside of my room I continued to have a wonderful experience in the hotel. In the lobby, there is a gift shop, restaurant, and bar. For the conference, the rooms, food, beverages, bathrooms, audiovisual equipment, and seating were all excellent. I really had a nice stay. Well done, Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs!
It was very clean, located walking distance to downtown and they do offer a free shuttle that we did not take advantage of but nice to know it was there
The breakfast for the cost was underwhelming, and the room while clean, felt very worn
Great location. Polite & cheerful staff.
stay at this hotel every year around this time, and it has always been a pleasant experience. However, this year my journey was far from smooth, with multiple delays and unexpected setbacks along the way. After approximately 27 hours of travel, I finally arrived at the hotel feeling exhausted. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Brian at the reception. His kindness and professionalism immediately made a difference. After hearing about my long and difficult journey, he went out of his way to find me a quieter room, ensuring that I could rest and recover without disturbances. This level of thoughtfulness and attention truly meant a lot to me. Brian is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely customer-oriented. He turned what had been a very tiring experience into a much more comfortable and pleasant stay. In my opinion, Brian truly deserves to be recognized as “Employee of the Year.” I would like to sincerely thank him for his outstanding service, and I am already looking forward to my next stay.
Staff was great
I had never been to Saratoga Springs before and the staff was excellent. Amy and Krys graciously took the time (despite the incredibly busy Friday afternoon rush) to chat about all the things to see and do in the city. Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the state park. The drivers, Steve and Ethan, were so punctual and willing to be meet us exactly where we were in the state park within 10 minutes of calling the hotel. The staff of this hotel really enhanced my whole weekend
The room was big and nice. Good location.
The rooms heating was controlled by a sensor. Turned on and off by sensing if anyone was in the room. We came back from dinner and room was very cold (62). I called front desk and was told there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile since there is no movement when we are sleeping, room dipped down to 62 degrees, again. We weren’t happy.
It was amazing! What a great location! Perfect walking distance from the down town which is chock full of restaurants and shops. Friendly staff and lovely pool. Would highly recommend!
Close to downtown, easy walk.
Everything went very well, we had a very nice stay.
Came to check in for chowder fest. I was expecting complete maddness. Not the case. We were treated like absolute royalty. Amy k. , steve from maintenance and krys were absolutely the sweetest and most accommodating service staff ive ever encountered. To make the night com plete even after allowing us to utilize the shuttle....they started an outside fire pit for us. I was blown away. The desk attendant directed us to the bar where we were greeted with kindness from dawn. She had a full bar but was still sweet and greeted us with a smile. Im very thankful as I desperately needed a night away. Ill be back next year same hotel because no one can compare. Room was clean...smelled clean and the bathroom was immaculate. Not a spec of dust or grime. Looked freshly remodled. Thank you holiday inn!!!!!
I was overcharged $25.00 and told that this overcharge would come off the bill- it never did and I have been unable to reach anyone to help with this. Additionally, the heating element was extremely loud and the fire alarm went off twice. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
Nice
All good
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Bathroom needs updating . Bar needs renovation. Bed is worn out.
Everything
The walk ability. They offered parking for no additional charge. They offered breakfast and had a bar.
I’m not a fan of buffet style breakfast
The staff and location
the beds
We had such a nice experience, whatever needed we received excellent responses and property was well maintained despite it wasn’t remodeled it was clean and decorated nicely! Amy K was so helpful!
Have to commend the reservation staff at the Holiday Inn. Amy, in particular, was very helpful and demonstrated a friendly demeanor wanting to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.
Both myself & my husband were impressed with the cleanliness of this establishment, a 10/10 the most important part for us). The mattress, pillows and comforter gave us a cloud-like sleeping experience (I would love to purchase these pillows). The staff was warm & friendly and very sweet & accommodating, especially Amy, the concierge who was generous to gift us a wine and dessert for our anniversary. This location is in great proximity to downtown where there are many eateries and boutiques-you can leave your car in their parking lot and walk the few blocks. It is also very close to the casinos and the race track. We also had the breakfast buffet (2 of the 3 mornings of our stay)which had many options at a great price.
The only disappointment we had was that the dinner food (which we had 1 night of our stay) was EXTREMELY salty and could not be eaten, which was rectified with them taking one meal off our bill. The only thing that we could critique is that in the future, when it’s time to change is not to get new carpet for the rooms(it is a personal preference of both mine and hubby’s), we find it cleaner as carpet holds dirt in the fibers.
The entire staff were extremely courteous, from the front desk, to the bartenders and housekeeping. Excellent stay, I will definitely be back
Good location, friendly Staff, dog friendly
Rooms could use paint/refresh, bed very firm, need phone plugs by bed, not all switches worked
Nothing
There was no complimentary breakfast.I had to pay 20 outlets per person for a meal. That was supposed to be included in my room. I had staff cleaning knocking at 830 am asking me about what time I am leaving (11 is check out) No complimentary breakfast. Rude staff by the elevator .The man pushed by instead of saying excuse me. Cold air owing in from the Window(seals around window are not sealed properly. Have an adjoining room with people jiggling the door handle. Late at night . The rest for an enjoying room.I just want to our own private room.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs for the Alliance Conference on Dec 4th, and the staff made our entire trip exceptional. Robert at the front desk was beyond amazing, and Krys and Jamie were equally fantastic—truly the best service we’ve experienced anywhere. Our team of six from A1 Service Coordination had three rooms, and the food and accommodations were great, but the staff is what made this stay outstanding. Highly recommend!
Excellent location, spacious rooms
The slowest elevator in the world.
Tyst och trevlig personal. God frukost!
